I added more to my story about Rainshine and Adrien. I know this part is really short, but somehow it seemed to be separate from the first part. More will be coming soon. I hope you guys like. c:

Adrien's back, as it turns out, was not broken, but only sore from the impact of falling (which Rainshine still wasn't entirely sure she believed). His right arm, however, was, along with the four upper ribs on the right side of his body. He also had a large knot on the back of his head, to which Rainshine attributed his strange claims to have fallen out of the sky. As much as she would love to have believed it, she had been fed enough bullshit in her life to never believe stories, especially crazy ones like this.

Still, she felt she needed to take care of Adrien, since she had found him, and she helped him stand and walk back to her car. Because of the man's injuries, the trip took the two of them much longer than it had taken the young aardwolf to go into the forest alone, and it was much colder now, due to the steadily growing darkness. Ignoring her own discomfort, Rainshine took off her coat and wrapped it around her shivering naked companion. It was huge on him, just like it was on her, but it still only covered the upper half of his body, leaving his legs and feet exposed to the cold, which he seemed to hate just as much as she did.

When they finally reached Rainshine's car, Adrien collapsed, exhausted, in the backseat. Again she checked his pulse and breathing to make sure he was okay and was relieved to find that he was only sleeping and not unconscious. Still, she figured she should keep him awake, just in case he had a concussion.

"Adrien," she said, softly tapping the side of his face with her pawlm. "You gotta wake up, dude. Falling asleep with a head injury is a big no."

"Alright," he muttered, stirring awake again.

Now that they were in the car with the light on, and Rainshine could see him a bit better, she was surprised to make out a striped pattern on his fur underneath all the mud. So he's an aardwolf too! she thought. That's a bit odd; I think I would've known if another aardwolf lived in the same town as me... Maybe he just recently moved here and hasn't had a chance to make any friends yet. He saw her staring and gave her a curious look. Two pairs of identically green eyes locked for a long moment as the two aardwolves took each other in, both equally mesmerized.

Rainshine broke the moment by shaking her head and reached out a paw to rub away some of the dirt on Adrien's cheek, revealing three parallel brown stripes, running from jawbone to cheekbone. She grabbed an old towel that just happened to be lying in the floor of the car and rubbed at his left arm. There was one stripe on his shoulder, three on his upper arm, and two on his forearm. She quickly returned her gaze to his face, staring in amazement.

"What?" he said, confused. "Am I missing something here?"

"I don't know," she admitted. "I may just be going crazy but... show me your teeth!" He gave her a puzzled, somewhat startled look, but he complied nonetheless, opening his mouth so that she could see his teeth. She gasped loudly.

"What? What is it?"

"Your canines are uneven," she informed him. "The left one hangs lower than the right."

"Yeah... so? Lots of people have uneven teeth. Why is this getting you so worked up?"

"Look at my teeth!" she said, pulling her lips back so he could see that she had the exact same tooth placement. Her right canine tooth was higher up than the left, making the other one appear to be longer. Adrien studied her teeth carefully and then looked back at her face, now noticing the markings on her fur, which were identical to his. Finally, they gazed back into one another's eyes and saw...

"We're the same!" they both said in unison.
