Finished commission story for Rajanwolffang on FurAffinity!

This story was my first forage into (erotic) superhero-fiction, but nonetheless fun to play around with...and quite grateful to Rajan for supplying me with info about Green Lantern rings since knew exactly zilch about those before taking on this commission :P

Also, feel free to make the required Admiral Akbar joke about the title ;D

The Trap Story by Raziel Characters © Rajan Wolffang

The skyline of the city was an awe-inspiring sight during the night. Thousands of small flecks of lights dotted massive skyscrapers. Floodlights illuminated the faceless, bronze guardian statues on the shorter, older buildings from a time when Art Deco was in full swing in architectural styles. There was so much light that the city appeared to be blanketed in it.

Suddenly, bright flashes appeared behind some of the buildings, making the lights sputter and flash momentarily. It took a while for the rumble to cross the calm waters of the bay. More flashes and sirens started to wail at the night sky. Off in the distance, small forms could be seen descending into the city, aimed directly at the intermittent flashes that shook the city. The flashing lights intensified and the rumbling started to sound more like a fight. Careful observers could have spotted two small shapes travelling alone, away from the city.

"Are you sure we're going the right way, Rajan?" The solidly built black-and-grey furred wolf turned his hand slightly, looking at the green ring with the lantern-emblem on it. A calm voice spoke from it. "The source of transmission is directly ahead. Distance approx. 4,500 feet and elevation approx. 6,000 feet. Exact values unavailable due to modular nature of signal." The wolf nodded and looked to his side, seeing the familiar bovine face and form of his loving wife, her red hair blowing in the wind like fire. "According to this, we are, love." Melody looked ahead. "But I don't see anything out there. Maybe we should have brought the others to aid the search." Rajan shrugged, the green energy-field surrounding him pulsing regularly. "No, they're all either needed in the city to minimise the damage from those constructs or to find a way to block the signal. We can deal with it together." He smiled and looked at Melody. "We'll probably be back before our little rascal even wakes up." She nodded and returned a smile, following Rajan as he curved his flight path upwards gently, before levelling off at what she assumed was 6,000 feet. A quick query directed at her ring confirmed it. "I think I got it. It must be hiding in the clouds. They're low enough for that." Rajan nodded in response. "No doubt...but then we still have a problem."

The was air filled with a broken cloud-cover and the source could be in any one of them within the radius. The Lantern corps members both came to a slow halt and hovered in the air. Rajan sighed. "We need a plan, or at least something to look for." There was a brief pause as they both observed their surroundings. Even when staying in the cloud-layer the ring had indicated, there were clouds everywhere. Every minute delay could mean massive damage done to the city, innocents lost or a wounded friend. Rajan felt his muscles pull tight and grit his teeth. Melody's face lit up with an idea and she slowly brought a finger to her mouth, dismissing the part of the pink uniform covering it and then gingerly licking it. Rajan flinched at the gesture, making him squirm inside and his masked eyes narrow. "Melody...this is hardly the time..." Melody raised her finger with a smile, feeling the wind much more clearly now and looking around closely a second time. "...Is it me, or is that cloud not moving?" Rajan followed her gaze and noticed the cloud as well. Other clouds moved around it in the faint breeze, just slow enough to escape notice if you weren't looking for it specifically. Their gazes fixed on the anomaly, they noticed more details that seemed off about it; slightly darker than the other clouds. A more sleek form compared to the 'fluffy' clouds surrounding it. Both nodded in unspoken agreement before they zoomed off at the cloud.

When they reached it, they turned in mid-air, bringing their feet down first as they plunged through the vapour of the cloud. In that instant, they already knew they'd found the source; the vapour tasted strange, like dry-ice fog but slightly different. They decelerated and stretched their toes out below them, only to make contact with a metallic surface seconds later. "Good call, Melody!" The surface was sleek, reminiscent of the smooth design of a UFO in fiction. They hovered along the surface slowly, carefully looking for a way in. Rajan spotted the faintly discoloured square first, he touched it carefully and scanned the edges, trying to find some way to open it quietly only to find that there apparently wasn't one. He stood back up and focused on the ring, creating a shimmering green hard-light construct of a massive battering-ram. Melody nodded and went into a ready stance, her own personal force-field flaring up in anticipation of diving into the vessel. Rajan brought his fist down and the battering-ram slammed into the closed door with a bang so loud it might as well have been an explosion. Metal screamed and tore, falling into the depths of the vessel like a mass of twisted metal. Melody dove in first, into the darkness. Or that's what she'd expected. Instead, the insides were quite well-lit, save for the area damaged by their less-than-subtle entrance. Rajan soon joined her. The wind could be heard howling lightly at the entrance, blowing over the lip. Nothing else could be heard.

Rajan focussed on his ring again, being inside the structure should make it much easier to trace the source. The advanced functions of the ring homed in on the signal instantly this time, and it was close. As he started moving down the corridor, so did Melody, covering his back with alert eyes and ears. The further they went into the structure, the worse their unease became. "This is too easy...it feels like we're walking into a trap." Rajan peered down a corridor that crossed the one they were traversing, before continuing to follow the trace. "I agree, but it's all we've got to go on. As long as the signal is active, those constructs keep rebuilding themselves if the reports are correct." Melody didn't like it, but Rajan was right. The bad feelings didn't ease in the slightest when they reached the control-room, opposed only by a large door. Melody used her ring to create what looked like a pane of crystal so impossibly thin that it apparently lacked one of its dimensions. The pane slid between the doors and then she started to add the third dimension. The mechanisms of the door screeched and scraped in protest as the thickening hard-light crystal forced them open. They both carefully scanned the room with both their own eyes and their rings before stepping inside, only to find nothing out of the ordinary. "Let's just get this over with and get out of here." Rajan focussed his willpower on the ring again, using it as a conduit into the vessel's system. There were security measures, but nothing the advanced tech of the ring couldn't bypass easily. The final firewall disappeared and shock followed it. "Oh no...this IS a trap! This thing's just a relay-station." Rajan worked feverishly to find the true source, the adrenaline steeling his resolve and amplifying his already considerable willpower. It was like he could feel the signal bounce off satellites and masts as he travelled with it until he finally reached the source. A dark shape behind a master-system, teeth gleaming in the harsh light of the monitor. Eyes nothing more than sickly yellow circles in shadowed sockets. Rajan finally breathed in. "Got it, I'm sending it to the others right away." Melody immediately grabbed his arm. "Good, let's do that on the way and get..."

A loud hum suddenly went through the vessel and an unexpected and violent lurch launched them into a bulkhead when it took off, soaring into space. Door after heavy door slammed shut to impede escape. The G-forces from the acceleration kept Rajan and Melody pressed against the bulkhead, their minds too hazy to properly use the rings from the jarring impact. Rajan was able to clear his head first and felt the ever increasing G-forces hammer down on them and used the ring to generate an anti-gravity field around them that was powerful enough to negate the pressure. It came to life in a shimmering globe of green energy enveloping them both. The craft suddenly accelerated again with enough force to pulp any mortal being caught in it. Rajan felt the field falter and deform under the pressure and could only keep it up when Melody raised her own ring and added its power to the shield, reinforcing the wavy surface of the energy-globe with a crystalline structure. Suddenly, a voice rang out from unseen speakers. "Well, hello there. Whoever hears this was clever enough to discover that my robots were remote-controlled...but not smart enough to realise I'd use a relay. If you're still alive to hear this despite the Ion-Drive kicking in, let it be known that the Fabricator General won't stop until his armies conquer the earth! As for whatever pesky irritant is still alive to hear this...I hope you brought sunblock!" Somewhere in his secret base back on Earth, the Fabricator General laughed as he watched feeds of both the vessel and his machine-minions fighting the Lantern Corps in the city. With a press of a button, viewscreens back on the vessel switched on, showing a view from the bow, pointed directly at the steadily growing, yellow sphere of Sol. Rajan growled in his throat in anger but had to repress it to keep the field up that kept them safe, and he could feel the strain it was putting on their rings' power sources. The passage of time became difficult to estimate as they couldn't spare the willpower from simply keeping themselves alive. Faltering once for a moment could mean the death of both. It just went on, and on, and on and all they could do was focus on the moment and hope it'd be enough.

Suddenly the hum ceased and they felt how the G-forces began to lessen. Rajan took a deep breath. "Melody...can you keep...it...up? I...need to...slow us down." Melody clenched her jaws and nodded. Rajan dropped his focus on the antigravity-field slowly and could see Melody tremble with the mental effort to keep it up. But she managed. She had to, she focused on the love she felt for her husband and daugher, on how she wanted to stay with them for her entire life. On the love she still had to give and desperately wanted a chance for to actually do it. Even with all that, she could feel the strain on the crystalline field, cracks already beginning to appear in its facets. "Hurry!" Rajan immediately put his focus on something else. Outside of the sleek vessel, a green shimmer appeared that solidified into a massive, curved triangle. Then it started to fold out like a peacock's tail, clicking out more and more identical sections until they wound around the entire vessel like a giant umbrella with the hollow end pointed to the front. Almost immediately the charged particles of solar wind hit the improvised sail. Melody felt the change in gravity and had to force herself to not falter and exhale in relief. "Whatever you're doing, keep at it!" Rajan used the sun as a reference and felt him tilt his arm in an automatic gesture. Outside, the solar sail shifted and deformed, catching the solar wind in such a way that it didn't just work as a brake, but that it actually steered them away from their current course. He had to adjust constantly, struggling with it like a sailor would on the high seas. He used the sail to stabilise the turn with precision borne of necessity and sheer will to survive and return home to their daughter. Rajan felt sure that the ring aided him in it, making some kind of complex calculation and adjusting on the fly to help him steer...even the Corps didn't know the full extent of the rings' abilities. The ship kept turning and slowing down until the sun was no longer even visible anymore. After what seemed like ages, the sun was behind them and the solar sail changed from a brake into a means to propel them away. Rajan and Melody could sense they were aimed back at earth and the crushing G-forces had lessened to manageable levels. And then the rings gave out.

Their supportive fields disappeared with a hiss, and their Lantern uniforms melted away into nothing. It appeared that Melody alone had the foresight to wear something under it during this outing...although it was arguable if it could be called 'clothing.' Rajan stared at her with his mouth agape. The cloth was pink like her uniform, with stockings and arm-length fingerless gloves, but the main body covered less than a bikini ensemble would. Her ample bosom spilled out over much-to-small cups, putting her bi-coloured nipples on display. Her entire belly was bare and only the slightest bit of fabric covered her private parts while still revealing the star-shaped tuft of red hair on her mound. And that was besides the fact that it was so tight that she might as well have worn nothing at all. The sight alone made his loins stir despite the exhaustion. She managed a slight giggle out between pants of exertion from the struggle. "I was...hoping to surprise you with this after tonight's outing. I suppose the surprise is wasted now, huh?" Rajan laughed out loud. "I wouldn't call it 'ruined' as such!" They both kept laughing, Rajan in his loud, slightly boisterous manner, and Melody with her typical giggle. After a while they fell silent. "Well...what now?" Rajan sighed. "We wait, I guess. With our rings out of juice, we can't go outside and into hyperspace or increase our speed in any way." Melody sighed, casting her eyes down solemnly. "So we failed." "We didn't. I managed to get the warning out to the others. With a little luck they've managed to thwart 'Fabricator General' already. Or blocked the signal. They might be on the way to pick us up. And our daughter is safe anyway, since we live outside of town...and hired the babysitter."

Melody sighed. "Well...I suppose that leaves us with some time to waste." She slid across the floor towards Rajan, purposefully pushing her bosom up to him, making her already large breasts seem even more massive. She grinned wickedly. "I did intend for us to have fun anyway, shame to let it go to waste...assuming you feel 'up' to it." Rajan's body told him that he most certainly was. He reached out and tenderly cupped her breasts, squeezing them gently before lowering his mouth to her dark nipple. Melody moaned slightly as he suckled at one of her most sensitive spots while the other, lighter one kept being flicked with his skilled thumb. It wasn't long before she could feel his growing member brush against the cloth on her thighs. Rajan gasped when Melody suddenly grabbed his head and smushed his muzzle between her cleavage. He relished in how dark, soft and warm it was and Melody felt how her body was warming up from feeling his breath on her fur alone. She sensed how his hands moved slowly from her breasts to her sides, tickling her teasingly and making her giggle and shift. They moved to her firm, wide hips and finally slid down to squeeze and massage her bottom - giving extra care to the spot with the paw-print tattoo she had set in his honour. Melody's tail started to sway more eagerly, enticed by the affection her bum was getting and squirming in mounting lust. Her own hands slid down between them and easily found Rajan's eager member. Her thick fingers toyed and teased it in all the ways that he liked and she could feel it throbbing in her hands, a slick drop of pre already on the tip. Another wicked smile flashed across her lips. "In the mood for...eating...some beef?" Rajan pulled his head up from the warm, soft heaven he'd been in with a smile. "Don't mind if I do."

Melody yelped when he hoisted her up against a panel at the wall, making her lose her grip of him and pushing her legs out to the side in a spread-eagle so she bared all to him. He licked his lips in anticipation as he curled his finger into the tiny bit of fabric covering her. It delighted him to find how stretchy the fabric was, and teased her by pulling it upwards, dragging the fabric into her slit and tickling her. Melody shuddered with desire, the movement amplified by the sway of her plump breasts. She reached for the upright ears sticking out of his proud mane of hair and carefully squeezed the tips. They fluttered in response but his short grunt clearly displayed his enjoyment of it. She continued to tickle and tease him, rubbing his ears and scratching him on the top of his head, while at the same time subtly increasing pressure to have him go down. Rajan glanced up at her with a wicked, toothy grin. "You're eager, aren't you?" Melody blushed even more brightly when he finally pulled the fabric down - revealing soft folds that matched her clothing in colour - and extended his tongue towards them...slowly. Melody squirmed even more in anticipation, her tail swaying around erratically and failing to keep herself from sliding down to meet him. She gasped and moaned when he plunged in, pressing his tongue tightly against her and lapping up her nectar like it was the most delicious flavour he had ever experienced. Melody's hands started to travel on her own body, squeezing and massaging her own breasts, or pulling them up and then loosening her grip so that they'd flop back onto her body with a familiar sway and bob and pang of pleasure. She felt his tongue start to travel and tease inside her, followed by his wet nose. Her legs extended and shivered when the cold, wet touch of it rubbed past her clit and set her desire fully ablaze. Her back arched powerfully when the very tip of his skilled tongue travelled deeper inside and touched the rougher area on her inner walls. Melody shifted and moved to meet him, intensifying the sensation as much as she could until she realised she still wanted more.

"Aah! Put it in!" Rajan pulled away from her instantly and stood up, his erect member bouncing with the movement before placing it at her moist, quivering entrance, the fabric now pulled to the side. They stayed like that for a moment that seemed to extend so much that it became unbearable. Then he plunged in with a predatory roar, filling her completely in an instant.

Melody moaned and gasped as she felt Rajan pump away at her, slapping against her again and again and making her breasts sway and ripple with each stroke. She smiled through the excitement when it didn't miss its effect and he reached for them, grabbing them and holding on for dear life as he ploughed her mercilessly. She struggled to keep her legs to the side instead of wrapping them around him, letting him in as deeply as possible. He sped up and moved his hands to her hips, grasping her tightly at the height of her tattoo and pulling her onto him each time that he thrust into her, adding even more force in his fierce lovemaking. Melody wrapped her arms tightly under her bosom, pushing them up for him and emphasizing their sway even more, it delighted her when is eyes locked on to them as if they hypnotised him. Suddenly, the tension in her underbelly grew and felt like it was wound up and about to snap. She realised how close she was to climax; the adrenaline still in their body from the ordeal deepening the experience and enhancing their senses. Rajan pulled his lips up in a strained snarl that revealed he was closing in on the pinnacle as well, and Melody saw no reason to hold back. She let go, letting the tension flow from her belly to the rest of her body, her walls clenching tightly in climax. The sudden pressure on his member sent Rajan over the edge as well, pushing inside her once more with a loud howl. Melody felt his seed surging out of him and into her like a deeper warmth than she was already feeling and it made her tremble with small, secondary climaxes while the first one still had to fade.

Rajan collapsed onto the pillow of Melody's large breasts with a loud sigh. He was still trembling and gasping on the final waves of his orgasm, still intimately connected to his wife. He took a deep breath and turned his head up. "I love you," he half sighed-half spoke. Melody smiled down on him, rubbing him on the muzzle. "I love you, too. Puppy dog." Rajan laughed softly. "You know, I kinda hope the Corps doesn't show up to the rescue too soon. Our little rascal is with a babysitter anyway - and after a bit of rest I think I could go for seconds." Melody giggled before sticking her tongue out teasingly. "So much energy...I knew I loved you for a reason."

The sleek ship travelled through the space between planets, on a steady course for earth. On the surface, the rumbling in the city had ceased, the mechanical monstrosities suddenly cut off from the signal that kept them active. Damage had been done, but the corps had done its job of containment admirably. Unfortunately the Fabricator General had escaped, his multiple relays set with alarms giving him an early warning when he had to move. The setback didn't matter and as far as he knew, he'd taken out at least two of those meddling irritants. When the sirens of the city had been fully silenced and the reconstruction could begin, streaks of different-coloured light suddenly launched up into the starry night at impossible speeds, moving towards the vessel, a ring inside sending a faint homing signal with the last drop of energy.
