Lunar Beasts has werewolves, felines, and humans and it's about life, death, love, and war. This story is about a year old.. I recently found it (note book and saved online) and decided to find out what my watchers think. I wanted to make a novel out of it.. and I have at least two maybe three chapters. If i get some good feedback I'll start typing up chapter two. :3

Reading the letter for the nineteenth time she looked up at its messenger. She opened her mouth to say something then shut it. She looked down at the letter again. Surely this was a joke from the Bleddlyn. The werewolves never tried to pull these types of stunts before.

"You must be kidding me. Lord Carlson never asked for a direct reply before" She spoke to her messenger.

"I understand, Ambassador. Sir Cal. He, well he is a though one." He replied.

"So I see," She agreed with him. The ambassador sighed, She loved her job truly she did but when new people were shifting the order of things. It was getting stressful on her. "I must meet with the Queen before I can give "Sir Cal" a decision, young wolf."

"I understand," said the young werewolf. The ambassador looked at the wolf again. He was so young to have his fur. He only sounded ten years old. If he truly was ten, he would have changed way too early for his kind. He spoke up, kicking her out of her assessment. "Sir Cal won't be happy with me if I go home empty handed, Lady Ambassador. Is it okay if i wait?"

The ambassador looked up at the wolf standing in the middle of the room. She stood up from the table with the letters from the Bleddlyn. She looked down at him, seeing he was almost a third of her height. She gave him a warm smile.

"Yes, you can wait for the answer." She said. "But little one, what is your name?"

"Lady Ambassador, please the law." He began to protest her simple question

"States to share no one you fur." The ambassador stated. "But little one it also states to be kind to your brethren. Did you know the Bleddyn and Leander are closely related?"

"Y-yes" he stuttered.

"Not only that, but by the law of the Leander you cannot meet the queen unless you have a name." She smiled when she saw the twitch of his ears perking up. "So what is your name, little wolf?"

"The Queen of Leander?"

"Yes. For safety purposes they need to know your name before you get to meet her." She replied. "You get to be the first Bleddlyn in years to meet the Queen. Queen Pandora."

"My name," he said as if he forgot it. "I can't."

"And why not?" She asked confused at his refusal to meet the Queen. "I'll tell you mine."

"What is it?" The words came out of his mouth before he could stop them. She could tell he was turning red with embarrassment. He looked away from her and sighed.

"My name, little wolf, is Lady June Ambassador to the bleddlyn" She said proudly. He looked back at her almost in shock.

"You're Lady June?" he gasped. "You're amazing! Oh-Ambassador excuse my tone, but Sir Carlson spoke so highly of you!"

June smiled at his words. The relationship she had with Carlson was one of the best she had all her life. Remembering the good times just pushed her through hearing of his fate. It was a tragedy to hear someone in the world were murdering people. The gods would've never allowed it. She shook her head trying to keep positive in front of this werewolf.

"Yes, Sir Carlson was amazing all on his own." She agreed with him. She began to get unsettled with his closed mouth. The information she needed was important to begin the process of seeing the queen and even the process of packing her things to go to the Bleddyn city. She was going to ask him again. She opened her mouth to speak.

"Oh!" He shrieked so loud the hair on her arms stood straight up. "My name!"

There was a long pause. June's assistant who was standing in the corner of the room wanted to shake the boy. June gave her a warning look and her assistant turned her head away.

"My name is Cristofer." His ears fell back as if a dark sad feeling came over him. He looked like a sad puppy to her. She wanted to hug him and tell him everything would be alright. If the wolves weren't so afraid of someone's touch, she would have. She had a feeling he knew the importance of his message to her.

"Brother Cristofer." She began and bowed her head in respect to him.

"Please, call me Tofer" He said in a whisper. June nodded to his quest. She wrapped up the letter she was reading from the bleddlyn ambassador. She sat down and begins to write her own then added it with it. She stood up turned to her assistant.

"Jane, please send this. The address is on the envelope" June stated with authority. The tone of her voice made Tofer stand in attention. Jane her assistant nodded and walked out of the building without saying a word. Jane turned to tofer. She snickered a bit at how funny he was standing. "Brother Tofer, I am grateful to have you here in Leander. I wanted to thank you for bringing your message. I would like to honor you, little wolf. So, I shall bring you to see Queen Pandora."

"Okay," his voice squeaked.

"Please follow me" She said softly.

Lady June brought Tofer out into the Leander city. As they were heading to the Queen's castle she turned to him as they walked. "So what do you think of our fair city, young wolf?"

"Everyone's looking at me weird." He replied. The felines looked at him as if he was a circus show. "My fur isn't sticking up is it?"

She looked over him and laughed. "No, Little wolf your fur is perfectly normal. The people here are not used to seeing the werewolves come into the city. I live on the edge of the city and most wolves drop off a letter and leave. None usually stay asking for an answer to go home with."

"Is that wrong of me?" He tried to hide his pout. She noticed he was starting to rethink asking that.

"No, no. It's wrong of your Ambassador to ask for answers on such short notice." She sighed. "Don't think much of them, Tofer. They will be the least of you worries for now."

"I do love your city, Lady June." He began to speak after a few long minutes. "Your city looks as if ancient Greece... but back with all the awesome buildings and all. Like in the books, and Hercules that movie, oh and-"

Lady June Laughed. "Yes, I do have to agree with you. Our city does very much look like it would come out of a book or a movie. Do you like it?"

"Absolutely!" He had a bounce in his steps. The bouncing stopped once his eyes stopped on their destination. It was the biggest building in the city. The pillars were white, and at least two stories high. He gasped, "Wow."

They stopped by two guards who stood in front of the building. They were covered in armor and looked ready to fight at any moment. He looked at them in awe.

"Lady June and the little wolf are here to see the Queen. My assistant should have come by now." Lady June spoke to the guard on the right.

"Yes, she came. Do you really want the lunar beast to go in with you?" He asked.

"Brother, I am his mouth when I need to be. It is my job. And I know what you mean by that since you are from my line. Please keep your mouth shut in front of him. He is an innocent." She replied.

"Just be careful June. Mother won't be happy to lose another child." The guard replied. Tofer arched an eyebrow. He was not used to the Leander customs, but this did not feel as if it was one. Lady June grabbed a hold of his arm and brought him into the place. The guard on the left had his eyes on the wolf the whole time. Tofer smiled at him before he couldn't see him anymore.

Tofer's mouth dropped once they were in the middle of the throne room. He looked around himself. The walls were pure white, with silky gold linen. He stood on a gold rug covered in red rose petals. The petals where dropped all along the rug that ran the whole room. It stopped at the Queen's feet. He looked up at her face and blinked. The Queen looked like the rest of the Leander. She was feline. But she wasn't like the rest. She looked like she was a panther with emerald eyes. Her golden hair looked so soft and stopped at the middle of her back. She twitched her tail, and lounged in the throne.

"Lady June, Daughter of Elder Jaden and homemaker Putnam. Leander Born ambassador to the Bleddyn Wolves." A guard spoke up once they were in the room. June bowed in respect to her Queen. The way she did so was so weird to Tofer. Her hands were reaching towards the Queen, and one foot behind her as if she was curtsying. It reminded him of a ballerina from the show his mother once brought him to. "Accompanied by Cristofer of the Bleddyn. Recently orphaned and messenger of the newly appointed Ambassador to Leander, Sir Calvin Chancellor"

The Queen circled her hands thought the protocol of introductions. Tofer noticed how much she hated them. He then realized how much information they had of him, and all he gave Lady June was his first name. He looked over at Lady June. His eyes got huge, forgetting he didn't show the Queen respect. He didn't know how to bow this ballerina way or the way they do at home. He wrinkled his nose. He moved his right hand from his left temple around the back of his head. He tilted his head to the right and keeled down.

"Queen Pandora," Lady June began once she stood up. "I'm sorry for the rush to see you."

That was the only part that Tofer could understand. Tofer slowly stood up from kneeling. He didn't know what to say, or what they were saying to each other. He remembered that Sir Cal told him they had their own language. He looked over at Lady June who looked focused on her task at hand. It was a long conversation before he couldn't take standing there anymore.

"Lady June?" He whispered to her. "May I say something?"

Lady June looked over to his words. She processed them for a moment. "Yes you may little wolf"

"Your Majesty," He spoke loud enough for her to hear. He noticed one of the three felines next to her walked closer to the Queen. He figured she was a translator. "I-I know not many are aloud here as my teacher told me. I am very honored to be in your presence. Your palace is beautiful, and your city is very interesting to walk through."

The Queen did not move when he finished speaking. Tofer began to think speaking up was a horrible idea. He was never able to keep his mouth shut. He felt the queen's eyes on him as he was sulking away.

"The Queen has a gift for you, little one. No need to sulk." Lady June spoke barely over her own breath. It made Tofer look over at her.

"S-she does?" He stuttered. He looked back up at the queen. She stood up, and looked like she was about to speak in the Leander tongue.

"Bleddyn warrior I've heard much about you," The queen began. Tofer felt like he was punched in the stomach. She was speaking the wolf language, just as Lady June was. He must have looked shocked because Lady June was grinning. "You suffered much through this war, and yet you are only ten years old. You have seen Lady Earth's nightmare, and you still have the moon's blessings. Yet, you come here to show the beauty of your fur. I am honored. You bare so much on your young shoulders and yet you seem unaffected."

When she paused, Tofer twitched his nose. He only now remembered Sir Cal's words. Run like a wolf, but when you get there change, do not let them know of your fur, christofer. The Queen noticed his change of heart and the dread in his face.

"Don't worry young Bleddyn. The law protects you here as it would in your own world. The law also protects you with a gift from the Leander." She looked over at the girl who Tofer thought was her translator. She had a chest in her hand. It was a beautiful golden chest with amethyst crystals all over it. Tofer couldn't keep his eyes off of it. "Lady June, please help Princess Persephone with young Tofer's gift."

Lady June bowed, "Yes your majesty."

Princess Persephone walked down the rose covered carpet stopping before tofer. The Princess opened the chest, but tofer couldn't see anything. Lady June stood in front of him. Tofer heard a click as Lady June turned around and pushed something around his neck. He heard the clicking noise again and Lady June stepped back. The princess turned and walked down the rose isle back to her mother.

"It is the ancient crest of the Leander, and the gem of Queen Pandora." Lady June explained when tofer looked down at the amulet. He couldn't decipher from the words or markings in the metal of the amulet. He scrunched his nose trying to figure it out. "The markings mean 'the law protects this warrior. Long live the Queen of Leander."

"What is this huge gem for?" Tofer asked and looked up at Lady June. The stone was the biggest part of the amulet.

"It is amethyst" Queen Pandora spoke up. Lady June stepped to the side, and bowed again. "What you have there is one of the biggest pieces we make into jewelry. It's for protection, spirituality and a few other properties. The amethyst was what the gem my mother had worn during birth. This means to our culture, said gem is the child's."

"Excuse me if i sound mean, but the Leander culture is very weird." Tofer stated. "I don't understand it at all, and my teacher views the Leander as scum. I don't know what to believe anymore."

"What people don't understand turns them to hate it, rather than learn more about it." The queen replied.

"I understand," he softly said. His ears fell back as if he was scared to speak up anymore. The Queen grabbed a sword from one of her lady-in-waiting and walked down the rose covered isle just as her daughter did.

"Bleddyn warrior, I declare you now must do much research on the Leander." She began again. "I do not do this for everyone."

"Huh?" He looked over at Lady June. He thought he would have to battle the Queen for some weird tradition or something. Lady June only looked excited. Her smile was big enough to see her teeth.

"Kneel, young one." The queen demanded. Confused Tofer bowed the way he knew. Queen Pandora moved the sword to one of his shoulders. " I, Queen Pandora, Daughter of late Queen Panagiota and King Patrig give his Bleddyn warrior who is gifted of Lady Earth, and Lady Moon knight ship within the Leander city" She moved the sword to his other shoulder. "Sir Cristofer Cannon, Knight of the Lunar Beasts and knight of his sisters."

The Queen paused, took the sword off of him and held it to her side. The other hand was reached out to him when he looked up. He was confused. Not many people wanted to touch him. He took her hand, as she spoke again. "Arise new knight, and face your ambassador with confidence. Give Sir Cal her message as quickly as you can. Do not forget your sisters, and come visit when you can."
