Chapter 6

The Battle Begins.

Two weeks had passed since Taomon had heard the news from a Renamon from another township about an evil digimon attacking them, but all was well in their town as no news was heard about this monster that was going around killing innocent Renamon. Both Jade and Storm had noticed that Taomon had been distracted for the past week and a half -- when they weren't smitten with each other, that is. As Storm stood on the balcony on the front of Taomon's house enjoying the warm sunny afternoon breeze he heard soft paw steps on the wooden floor coming from behind him. His ears twitched as the paw steps got closer and closer.

He turned around, looking at her hind paws and slowly moving his head upwards, tracing his eyes over her slender yellow legs and seeing the green symbols on her thighs. As he continued to looking upwards his eyes glided over her thin hips to her firm stomach and over the cute tuff of fur that covered her perfect breasts. Storm looked at her cute yellow-and-white face, beautiful green eyes, and amazing smile, losing himself in the moment.

"What are you doing out here, Storm?" Jade inquired of her mate as she leaned against the open door frame looking at her mate resting his paws and back on a small wall looking back at her.

"Nothing much, my love, just thinking about my past and how my future looks much better now that I have you by my side," Storm said to Jade as he turned back around to look over the town once again. Jade walked over to him, resting herself on folded arms on the small wall next to Storm and her head on his upper arm as she looked over the town with her mate.

"Storm..." Jade hesitated as she spoke to him. Storm turned his head to look reassuringly into Jade's eyes as she started to speak.

"Before Sam and Blaze went back to the real world, Sam told me something that I never knew about," Jade's voice held a slight hint of fear as she spoke.

"What is it, my sweet mate?" Storm asked, wondering what Jade would say as he stroked her face lightly with his paw.

"It's just that Sam told me to never let go of you and that you had a lot of hard times behind you, but you've never spoken to me about it," Jade stuttered as she felt tears start to build in her eyes. She sniffed as she continued to speak.

"I want to know what happened to you in the past, Storm. No, I want to know what happened to KJ before he met me." Jade sobbed lightly into her fur-covered arm. Storm put his arm around her and pulled her close, pressing her into his chest as a steady flow of tears ran down her face onto his chest.

"Sssshhhh Sssshhhh Sssshhhh, Jade there's no need for all these tears, my love. It's ok if you want to know. I don't mind telling you. I know it will upset you more, but if you want to know I will tell you everything," Storm told her softly as Jade nodded and they looked at each other.

"The only question I have is: where do you want me to start from, my love?" Storm asked his mate as he dried her tears with one of his paws and a faint smile on his muzzle.

As Jade looked up into Storm's big, soft red eyes her fears about what she wanted to know about Storm's past melt away. As she gazed at him her tears came slowly to a stop. He held her close, making her feel that everything would be ok.

"Could you start from the beginning? How about you tell me a bit about your parents," Jade asked her mate lovingly and softly.

"Well, I never knew my father but I was told by my mother when I was ten years old that he was killed during an attack by one of the dark masters with his Gatomon trying to save me, my mother and her partner, Shadow, a Renamon like us, Jade," Storm explained to Jade as they looked at the fountain .

"Once my father was gone, Shadow felt it was his duty to my mother and to me to look after us. He was more like a father to me then anyone watching over me as I grew up. I mean, how often do you get to have a step-father that's a digimon?" Storm spoke happily of his digimon father as Jade started to giggle uncontrollably.

"What got you giggling, Jade?" Storm asked as he started to giggle himself. Jade pressed her head deeper into his chest fur as she looked up at him with her big bright green eyes.

"You've taken after your father...well step-father, anyway," Jade teased as she placed a finger on the tip of Storm's nose.

"And what's that suppose to mean?" Storm joked as he scratched behind her left ear, causing her to murr.

"Well, your step-father took your mother for his mate, and you took me as your mate. You two both took a mate from each other's species. So what happened to your digimon father?" Jade asked keenly as she enjoyed her ear-scratch.

"Well, in the real world they would hold tournaments for best fighter at the different levels. It was called the Rumble Arena. I can still remember it like it was yesterday, seeing all those different rookie digimon waiting to see who they would have been picked against. When they found out they had a Renamon to fight they panicked; some had never ever seen a Renamon before." Storm paused for a moment with a wide smile on his muzzle.

"What's so funny?" Jade asked, sounding confused.

"When we were at these tournaments I was allowed to go with my mother and Shadow in the trainers area. Before the fights, my mom would let me and Shadow go around and talk with the tamers and their digimon, saying that I was a Renamon kit and Shadow was my father. Where I was a young kid everyone just played along with me." Storm spoke with a laugh at the thought of how silly it now sounded to himself.

"Well, just think: you never know what's going to happen when you're a kid, and now look at you now, my handsome Renamon. And best of all, you're all mine." Jade spoke softly as she kissed his neck, sending a shiver down his spine. "So what happened to him, Storm?" Jade asked, wanting to hear more of Storm's past.

"Who, Shadow? Well, all three of us lived happily for two years afterwards. My mother put the money she and Shadow won in an account that I couldn't get to until I reached my eighteenth birthday. And then it happened --" "What happened? Come on, tell me what happed next!" Jade interrupted, demanding to know.

"Well, if you'll let me continue, I'll tell you. Now, where was I? Oh...yeah. Then it happened: one of the worst days of my life. All three of us went out to see a movie. My mother and Shadow sat next to each other and I was sitting on Shadow's lap. He ruffled his paw through my hair like a father would. My mother just smiled at me. Once the movie finished we started to the park so we could feed the birds at the pond." Storm paused to take a deep breath before he spoke again.

"But, as we were walking, a digital field formed around us. A Black Graymon appeared in the middle of the cloud. Shadow ordered my mother to get both of us away from there. My mother took me out of the digital field and told me to stay there and not to go back inside the field as it would be dangerous because of the two digimon fighting in there. She ran back inside it to help Shadow fight. All I heard was a almighty roar as the field faded away. I saw the black dinosaur baring its sharp fangs before it faded away." Storm stopped speaking as he felt tears run down his face. Jade looked into his eyes, seeing the tears running down his face.

"Storm, stop telling me what happened if it's upsetting you." Jade said.

"I'll be ok in a few minutes." Storm sobbed lightly as Jade looked at him and saw the tear-dampened fur under his eyes. He took a deep breath to calm himself. Jade stroked his face softly, smiling weakly at her mate; she had never seen this side of Storm before.

"Are you sure you'll be ok, Storm?" Jade gently.

"I'll be ok," he replied, wiping tears off his fur.

"So what happened to Shadow?" Jade asked her mate.

"My mother was standing in the middle of where the field had been with Shadow's body lying on the ground next to her. I ran over to him, falling to the ground next to him. He had cut all over his body. My mother fell to the floor in tears. I remember...he put his paw around me and made me promise that I would stay with my mother and keep her safe." Storm sighed as he spoke again.

"I felt a warm wetness on his chest as I pulled my hands away. They were covered in his crimson blood. He turned his head to my mother and asked her to tell me the truth about us when I turn sixteen. His body started to turn in to data from his hind paws upwards as he said softly to me that he loved me as his son. I pressed into his shoulder crying my eyes out as I felt his paw wrap around me. As his body turned into data I fell to the ground, tears running down my face, screaming his name--" Storm stopped talking as he heard Jade sobbing with her face buried into his chest at the story he was telling.

"It must have been so hard for you losing some you loved at that age." Jade sobbed in to Storm's chest as he gently placed a paw on the underside of her muzzle, tilting her head towards his and leaned forward, pressing his lips to hers passionately and muffling her tears.

"Sssshhhh, Jade, it's alright." Storm comforted Jade as she cried, then began speaking again.

"Losing Shadow did hurt me and Mom a lot, but we had each other. Every year we would remember Shadow's birthday, even though he was no longer with us. We did that for eleven years, until I reached my sixteenth birthday, when my mother sat me down where she told me the truth about her and Shadow: that they were life mates," Storm stopped talking as he started to laugh loudly.

"They even did the three trials so Shadow could become my step-father. He left me a letter before he died for me to read when I came of age, but I never got to read it because a few months after my mom told me this we were out driving, heading to see family up north. We got caught in a serious car crash--" Taomon, who was walking pass them and had heard Storm telling his story, interrupted him.

"So what happened to your mother, Storm?" Taomon asked calmly, looking at her daughter, who was being held in a loving embrace by her mate. Taomon walked to his free side and looked caringly at her adopted son as she ran her paw through the back of his head fur.

"As we were driving up to see them, we got hit on the side of our car by a truck that lost control, forcing us to hit a wall of rock. The car collapsed in on itself on the driver's side, trapping my mother inside. I got thrown out of the car on impact. I remember my mother screaming at the top of her voice, asking if I was ok. She told me to stay away from the car because it could blow up. The emergency services got there as fast as they could, but she had lost a lot of blood. By the time they got her into the ambulance she was barely conscious. She told me something before she passed away." Storm started to cry as memories flooded back of how upset he had been. Jade looked into Storm's eyes. "What did your mother say before she passed away?" Jade asked gently as she started to lick the tears away from Storm's cheek and intertwined her tail with his to show him she was there for him.

"The last thing my mother told me was that she loved me and was proud of me...and then she said something that confused me: that I'm my father's son. For the next year and a half I stayed with my grandparents, until I was eighteen, when I moved into my apartment; the money my mom and Shadow had won had grown in the bank to a few million pounds. The only thing is that, to this day, I have never understood what my mother meant by what she told me." Storm sighed as he finished telling his history to Jade and Taomon. Jade snuggled in as close as she could to comfort Storm while Taomon placed one of her paws on his back, rubbing gently.

"I see why Sam told me never to let go out you, my love." Jade sniffed as she dried her eyes with her paw.

"Well, my life did get better a few months ago when this mysterious woman appeared in my life with a cute tail and yellow fur from head to toe, and to be honest I've never been happier than with her by my side," Storm said happily, almost turning it into a bark.

"Why -- Uugh - now?" Jade groaned as she hurriedly placed her paws over her mouth. She ran back into the house towards the bathroom. Storm started to laugh at the sight of his mate running off in a blink of his eye.

"Errr...I better go see if Jade's alright," Storm mumbled as he bowed his head graciously to Taomon.

"I thought Jade had passed that part of her term of pregnancy. Oh, well, I guess not." Taomon laughed happily, then both she and Storm laughed.

"I'll see you later, Taomon. Now, where's Jade run off to?" Storm said as he left Taomon outside looking towards the horizon to find his mate. Taomon could see black clouds just coming into view at the edge of the horizon.

"A storm is coming," she said to herself as she turned around and walked back in the house as well, closing the doors behind her.

Storm walked towards the bathroom, hoping to find Jade in there. He found the door open and poked his head inside only to find the room was empty. He pulled head out from behind the door, looking confused and wondering where Jade could be.

"Where has she disappeared to?" Storm asked himself as he started to sniff the air, trying to get Jade's scent. He found and followed it. It took him to his and Jade's bedroom. As he entered the room Storm saw Jade laying on the bed with her head buried under her pillow, crying her heart out. Storm walked over to the bed, unnoticed by Jade.

Storm lowered himself onto the bed and gently stroked her back with his paw, trying to calm her. After a few minutes he could hear her sobbing start to slow under her pillow. He continued to caress her soft fur covered back as Jade started to pull her golden-coloured head out from under her pillow. She turned her head to look at Storm, her eyes very red and puffy from crying. She flung herself into Storm's arms, holding him tightly and resting her head over his shoulder as she started to cry once again.

"Storm, I'm so sorry I made you tell me about your past. You lost everyone you loved," Jade wept as Storm held her in a loving embrace while running his paw up and down her spine.

"Well, I should have told you sooner about my past. Besides, I haven't lost everyone I love." Storm spoke softly as he nuzzled Jade's neck, trying to soothe her, tears slowly falling from his eyes.

"Huh? What are you talking about, my love?" Jade asked as she dried her eyes with the back of her paw.

"You, my love, I still have you, Jade," Storm told her as he held her furry body next to his. He placed his lips on hers softly, showing her tenderness as his lips touched hers. They lay themselves on the bed, their bodies intertwined, as they kissed for several long minutes. Jade reluctantly broke from the kiss.

"So, where does Sam come into your past?" Jade asked quietly as she enjoyed being held in Storm's strong arms, feeling the warmth his body emanated as she started to smile at her mate.

"Sam, you ask? You want to know how I met Sam?" Storm teased as he ran a paw down her thigh as they lay on their sides causing her to sigh contently. Jade nodded her head as they looked into each others eyes.

"Ok. It all started when I was at school at break time one day. I was nine years old, playing football with my friends, you know, just enjoying myself. That's when I heard her crying. I ran over to see this young girl in a pink dress with her blond hair in pigtails being bullied by a boy in the year below me --" Jade interrupted him.

"So what did you do, Storm?" Jade asked her mate as she ran one of her paws down his back, making him shiver down his spine.

"Well, if a certain yellow-furred lover of mine would let me tell my story, she'd find out," Storm teased her as he put a finger on the tip of her nose, making them giggle as he started to speak again.

"This guy was a complete asshole; he would pick on kids younger them himself. I ran at him and pushed him to the ground. I started to punch him over and over again, getting a few good punches in my own chest. I felt my blood boil as I fought him. When I got off of him he just lay on the ground with a cut on his lip. As I stood up I felt someone holding on to me, and as I looked down I saw the girl crying into my t-shirt." Storm spoke happily as he remembered how he met his best friend Sam.

He had the instincts of a Renamon when he was nine; Shadow must have really left a big impression on him, Jade thought to herself.

"I asked her if she was ok. She said she was ok now and she thanked me for helping her without realizing it. I introduced myself as she told me her name: Samantha Rose, but she like being called Sam, she told me. She was seven years old and she asked if I would be her friend. She didn't have any friends then, as her family had just moved here, so I told her I would like to be her friend just before I felt a hand grab hold of my arm, pulling me away from my new friend as she ran behind us," Storm told Jade with a laugh.

"So you got in trouble for saving someone?" Jade asked sharply.

"Almost. As the teacher dragged me to the school wall Sam spoke up from behind us, saying that I stopped a bully from hitting her. The teacher asked me if that was true, and all I could do was nod my answer to her. The teacher walked off to get the real bully off the ground. As she walked back to us with him in her hand, she asked us if he was the one that bullied Sam. We both nodded, and she told him he was in a lot of trouble and would be taken to see the headmaster. Sam gave me a long hug and said thank you for helping her and we chatted everyday after, eventually becoming best of friends," Storm said happily to his mate in his arms as he placed a kiss on her lips as they lay on the bed.

As they held each other Jade let out a small gasp of surprise as Storm bolted upright staring at her with fear in his eyes, wondering what was going on with his mate. As he started to speak, she let out another gasp and placed her paws on her stomach.

"Jade, are you ok?" Storm asked, his voice full of concern for his mate as he gently paced a paw on her face.

"I'm fine, Storm. It's just that I felt our kit kick for the first time," Jade said joyfully. As she felt their kit kick again she lay on her back, took one of Storm's paws in one of hers, and placed it on her stomach as she spoke again.

"Here, my love, let me show you," she said softly. Storm felt a small kick on his paw and started to laugh as he brought his head close to Jade so he could tease her lips. They kissed while he stroked a paw up and down her body, running his paw tips through her fur and making her moan lightly.

"Jade, you're amazing. I love you with all my heart and soul," Storm whispered in her ear as she climbs on top of him. She lay on top of Storm's body and looked into his eyes as she spoke.

"As I love you with all of my heart and soul, and so does our kit." Jade giggled as she ran her paws through his chest fur and watched him squirm. As she rubbed his body softly, a low growl escaped from his throat.

"I see someone like that, my sexy mate." Jade spoke seductively as she felt a need starting to form within her as she started to become aroused by the sound of Storm's growl. She rolled off of him onto the bed, lying on her back and opening her legs slightly. She took hold of Storm's paws and placed them on her body. Storm sat up on the bed and looked into her eyes.

"Jade, could you excuse me for a few moments? I need to use the bathroom," Storm told her calmly, making her huff in disapproval.

"Fine, but be as fast as you can, or I'll have to start without you," Jade teased her mate as he ran to the door as fast as he could. After a few minutes, he headed back to the room with Jade inside, waiting for her mate to take her.

As he opened the door he saw that the room was darker; Jade had closed the curtains and lit a few scented candles. As he looked at the bed, he saw Jade lying on the bed facing away from him, her tail waving side to side above her open legs, giving him full view to her sweet lips of her sex and her tailhole as she looked over her shoulder.

"You like what you see, my love?" she said lustfully as she wiggled her hips to entice him even more. His member started to reveal its tip from his sheath as he just stood there with his mouth hung open. His jaw almost hit the floor at the sight of her sexy body. Looking down, he saw that he was now fully out while Jade could smell the strong, musky scent drifting from his member.

"What are you waiting for, handsome? An invitation?" Jade growled lustfully as Storm slapped himself in the face to knock some senses back into himself. He walked over to the bed, the scent from between her legs getting stronger. He clawed his way between her legs, his cold nose resting on the sensitive lips of her sex. He started rubbing his nose up and down, making her moan loudly as her juices started to leak out. Storm continued his nose-rubbing, spreading the juice over her, making her sex glisten in the candlelight.

Storm used his paws to open Jade's legs wider, giving him better access to her wet sex. He moved his mouth closer to her. Jade could feel his warm breath blowing over her lips, making her shudder as the tip of his tongue brushed lightly against them, making her moan loudly. He starts to lick at her lips, speeding up slightly but still trying to keep the same rhythm of her moaning just before he stuck his tongue in as deep as he could, tasting her sweet flavour on his tongue and enjoying the warm dampness from her sex. He moved his tongue all around inside her while his member dripped pre from its tip.

"Take me, Storm, make me yours ," Jade panted loudly as he started to move over her body from behind. He rested his body on top of her back, pressing her tail down until it was trapped between them, pressing the tip of his member against the folds of her sex. He pushed himself inside her slowly, the tip running over her g-spot several times, making Jade scream out in pleasure. He started to thrust into her, going deeper and deeper on each thrust, taking her from behind.

Jade's hips started to match the rhythm of Storm's thrusts. As her hips thrusted back, it forced him to hilt himself every time their hips met. Jade's walls were trying to hold the invading member inside her as she felt her climax building fast, both panting loudly while they mated, making Jade scream out her mate's name.

"STOOORRRRMMMM!" Jade screamed at the top of her lungs, her body shaking violently as she came, her fluids leaking out of her hole and flowing on to the bed. Storm continued to pump his member into Jade's lovehole, picking up more speed, his member now covered in Jade's juices as an idea came to him. He pulled out of Jade's sex, causing her to moan and gasp at the feeling of emptiness within.

Storm pressed the tip of his member to her tailhole, pushing it in with no resistance because he was slick with her fluids. He hilted himself with one gentle thrust and bit the back of her neck. Jade could feel his knot slowly swelling against her tailhole. He started to move gently, letting her get used to the feeling of being full with his member, then he started to pick up speed once again as he thrusted into her.

They could both feel his knot trying to enter the tight, warm depths of her bowels. Jade felt her second climax build, both moaning and panting in pleasure. Just then, Jade felt Storm push his knot into her tailhole making her scream as she bit down on the bed to muffle herself while Storm's thrusts became more frantic and rougher. Both howled at almost the same time as they came, Jade's juices squirting over the bed and onto Storm's tail while Storm sprayed his seed into her bowels tying them together. She could feel the heat of his seed coating her insides while the jets of his seed were filling her up.

Both were panting heavily and enjoying the afterglow of their mating. Storm's body, almost drained of energy, collapsed on top of Jade's back. He forced his arms around her chest and rolled them over still tied so that Storm was on his back with Jade on top of him. He began nuzzling her neck and placing kisses randomly along her neck. All Jade could do was moan softly at the amazing sensations her mates lips were giving her.

"Storm, I love you so much," Jade panted as she shakily put her paw on his face. Her body was still racked from her two orgasms.

"And I love you, too, Jade," Storm panted back as he put his paw on top of Jade's while he resumed nuzzling her neck. Both of them fell into a deep sleep, Jade still in Storm's loving embrace with him still tied within her.

As the morning broke, Jade was still on top of Storm, in his arms on the bed. The candles had burnt themselves out. The room was darker than usual, as the curtains had not been opened yet. The door was still locked from yesterday afternoon. Jade started to stir, feeling her mate's loving embrace. As she tried to get up he held her tighter. As she looked at Storm, she saw he had a smirk on his muzzle with his eyes still closed.

"I'm not letting go of you, my love," Storm whispered as he started to lick her neck softly, making her murr.

"Morning, my dark hero." Jade sighed happily as she tried to sit up, only to find that Storm's arms were holding her close to him.

"Storm, do you mind letting me go? Because I kinda need to use the bathroom quickly, then I'll be right back so we can hold each other," Jade said softly, turning her head to the side, looking into one of his eyes as Storm stopped his licking.

"Let me think about that," Storm whispered into her ear as he paused and tightened his hug around her stomach.

"Err...no." Storm teased his mate lovingly as he placed kisses along her neck and shoulder slowly, making her moan softly.

"Fine. Then I'll have to take matters into my own paws," Jade said just before she started to fade away into thin air, only to reappear sitting on the floor as she stuck her tongue out at Storm, who looked up from the bed.

"Hey, that's cheating," Storm joked happily as Jade got off the floor onto her hind paws. She walked towards the door, moving her tail side-to-side seductively as she walked past Storm on the bed and disappears through the doorway. Storm closed his eyes, just lying on the bed.

After ten minutes Storm heard the bedroom door close softly and the door lock click shut, then soft paw steps moving towards the bed. He felt a weight pressing down on top of him as a paw ran through his chest fur, causing him to moan lightly at the paws touch. He opened his eyes, looking into two bright green orbs staring right back at him. As their noses touched, Storm wrapped his arms around Jade's soft-furred back in a tender embrace.

"Now, what were you up to before I left you?" Jade asked seductively as she moved her muzzle down, bringing her lips down to met his, gently locking their lips together as the kissed. Storm slid his tongue into her mouth, teasing her tongue as they intertwined around each other, the feeling of pure love that they shared flowing like a raging river.

All of a sudden they heard something that made them break from their kiss. They looked towards the window, jumped of the bed, and rushed to see who was making all the noise. Jade opened the window to hear screams and shouts from some Renamon, a small group surrounding someone. One of the Renamon broke off and ran to Taomon's house.

Jade and Storm heard a knock at the door. Jade turned around, reaching out and grabbing one of Storm's paws with both of hers, pulling him backwards, curious to see what going on in the town square as she dragged him to the door looking into his eyes.

"Storm, we have to tell mother about this now," Jade said firmly as she opened the door and went to find Taomon. Storm followed her towards the stairs, both running down as they looked for Taomon. They heard the main door start to open as they looked at each other.

"The front door!" they said together. They sprinted towards the front door, hoping to find Taomon there but all they saw was the maid Renamon slowly opening the door. Jade put her paw on the young Renamon's shoulder, making her jump a little as the door opened.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for making you jump like that, but have you seen my mother this morning?" Jade spoke sweetly to the young Renamon looking her in the eyes with a smile.

"I haven't seen Lady Taomon this morning, Princess Jade," the maid replied, sounding a little down-hearted as she spoke.

Then they all heard paw steps from behind them. Storm and Jade turned around to see Taomon standing about four foot away from them with a serious look on her face as she saw the male Renamon waiting outside the door. Taomon walked between Jade and Storm to the door to speak with the male outside.

"Lady Taomon, we need your help with a Renamon who's hurt badly," he explained with urgency as he pointed towards the small crowd that was building.

"Ok. take me over there. Oh, and Storm? Would you please join me, just in case I need your help?" Taomon said coolly, looking at Storm.

"Sure, no problem, Taomon," Storm replied as he nodded his head at Taomon as she looked at Jade.

"Jade, I want you and Rosie to get one of the spare bedrooms ready," Taomon told her daughter.

"Yes Mom, but...who is Rosie?" Jade asked, sounding confused as she spoke. Jade heard a voice coming from behind her and turned to see who was speaking, only to stand face- to- face with the maid Renamon.

"That would be me, Princess Jade. Lady Taomon thought I would like the idea of having my own name," Rosie said happily as she smiled at Jade.

"Ok then, Rosie, let's go," Jade said, nodding her head as she and Rosie turned and ran to one of the spare bedrooms on the ground floor. Storm and Lady Taomon head outside, following the male Renamon to the crowd near the entrance of the town.

Taomon and Storm rushed towards toward the crowd. As they got near the Renamon in the crowd moved, opening a path to the centre of the ring of yellow digimon. Storm and Taomon both saw the female Renamon lying on the ground, her body battered, golden fur matted and stained with dry blood, her white fur covered with mud and more blood. She was barely breathing; a small pool of blood trailed from her muzzle, her eyes shut tight with pain. Taomon and Storm stopped in their tracks at the sight of the Renamon in front of them.

Without thinking, Storm walked over to the unconscious Renamon on the ground and kneeled next to her, picking her up in his arms gently. Her arms and legs hung limply, dangling down over Storm's arms, her head leaning backwards. Storm could hear her breathing become more frantic. He had a flash back to the nightmare he'd had with Jade's body in his arm instead of this unknown girl. A voice brought him back out of the memory.

"Storm? Storm, stop daydreaming and let's get that youngster inside before she passes away," Taomon said. Storm could hear the worry in her voice as she turned around to head towards her house. Storm turned and followed her quickly.

"Ok, Taomon, and sorry about that," Storm said as he sped up, rushing to get the girl inside. As they got inside Jade came running down the hallway with Rosie in tow, both stopping in front of Storm, both gasping at the sight of the bloody mess of a Renamon in Storm's arms

"Jade, show Storm the room you and Rosie got ready. Rosie, you come with me; I need to get some medicine for her wounds," Taomon ordered the three Renamon.

"Yes, Lady Taomon," Rosie replied with a nod.

"Certainly Mom," Jade and Storm answered together, as Taomon and Rosie rushed upstairs.

"This way, my love,", Jade said softly as she started to the room that she and Rosie had gotten ready for the Renamon. When they got into the room Storm walk over to the bed, gently lowering the girl's body onto it. They waited for Taomon to arrive.

"Jade, can you get a bowl of warm water and a cloth, please, to clean her fur a little?" Storm requested as he looked over the mucky form of the Renamon girl. Jade nodded before running to the kitchen.

After a few moments, Storm could hear paw steps coming down the hallway towards him. Looking at the door as it opened, he saw Taomon and Rosie coming into the room, both holding lots of small, different-coloured boxes. They walked to a table next to the single bed while Jade teleported herself back in the room holding a bowl of warm water with a cloth already in the water as her mate had asked.

"Here's the bowl of water you asked for, Storm." Jade spoke softly as she placed the bowl next to the pile of boxes on the edge of the table. She walked over to Storm and took hold of his paw, placing her head on his shoulder and trying not to cry at the sight on this unfortunate Renamon.

Taomon had started to open a few of the boxes that contained different herbs with wonderful aromas. Smells started to fill the room as Taomon starts to mix different combinations of the herbs to help the injured Renamon on the bed. Rosie started to wipe some of the dried blood out of the girl's fur softly as she just lie there, unable to wake.

"Taomon, what are you doing?" Storm asked, looking at the robed digimon as she mixed the powder into a small bowl of water. Jade was still in his embrace, her eyes welling up with tears.

"I'm making a healing potion that will help her body recover so we can find out what happened to her and her clan," Taomon explained. Her voice was quite calm as she worked on the potion.

When Taomon finished it, she asked Rosie to move away from the bed, then walked over to it and sat on the edge gently placing her paw on the Renamon's back, lifting her head a little so she could give her the potion.

Taomon started to slowly pour the warm liquid into the Renamon's mouth, careful not to choke her on it. Storm watched as a small trickle of the potion ran down the underside of her muzzle from her mouth as the bowl slowly emptied itself. Taomon gently removed the bowl from the girl's lips and placed it on the table next to the bed. Taomon gave a single nod to Rosie to come back to cleaning the young Renamon's fur and treating her wounds.

"Well, only time will tell now," Taomon said, sounding optimistic, "but that was one of the strongest healing potions I know; hopefully that will help her recover so we can find to what happened to her."

"I'll take the first watch if you two don't mind," Jade said softly to Storm and Taomon, looking at the poor defenseless Renamon lying on the bed, hoping that she would wake soon. Storm stepped forward.

"I have a better question: who is she, and what attacked her?" Storm asked, sounding concerned as he crossed his arms and looked at the cuts all over the sleeping Renamon's body.

"Ok, I think we better leave her to get some rest and let that potion work. Jade, are you sure you want to watch her first? Because I don't mind watching over her," Taomon said softly as she looked between Jade and the unconscious Renamon on the bed.

"Yes, Mom, I'll be fine, and if she wakes, I'll come get you," Jade said calmly with a smile on her muzzle. Storm walked over to her and placed a kiss on her forehead, then walked to the door followed by Taomon and then Rosie. As Rosie closed the door slightly, Jade turned and sat on the bed.

"Well, it looks like it's just you and me, whoever you are," Jade said softly as she watched the sleeping Renamon closely. As the girl slept, her breathing slowly became more stable. Jade knew that the potion her mother had made was working t help this unknown girl.

Hours had passed since Jade started her watch, so she decided to lean back on the bed. She ran her paw over her stomach softly while she sat there watching the girl, getting lost in her thoughts so that she jumped out of her fur when she felt a paw touch her arm. Trying not to make a sound, Jade turned her head to see Storm standing next to her.

"Hey, Fluffy, how's she doing?" Storm whispered to Jade, placing himself on the bed next to his mate. He leaned in and pressed his lips onto Jade's his muzzle, facing towards the sleeping Renamon as they kissed.

Then all of a sudden someone was screaming beside them. Both's eyes shot open, and Storm could see the young Renamon looking at him with fear in her eyes. She was sitting up in the bed, just staring into Storm's red eyes. Jade turned her head to look at her and try to calm her down. All of a sudden, Taomon came bursting through the doorway looking around the room.

"What's happened?" Taomon asked, sounding shocked, looking at the frightened Renamon. The girl was sitting on the edge of the bed with her back pressed against the wall and her legs pulled in against herself, making her look like a ball of yellow-and-white fur. The girl could just stare at Storm. Jade looked back to Storm.

"I think you better go, Storm; I think she likes you," Jade teased her mate softly as she brushed her paw across his face fur. Jade looked at the now fully awake Renamon who was sitting against the bedroom wall, her whole body shaking with fear at the sight of the black-and-red digimon.

"Ok, my yellow furball. I'll see you up stairs later on," Storm whispered in Jade's ear as he nuzzled her, making her shudder at his soft touch just before he disappeared into thin air, leaving just the three female digimon in the bedroom. Taomon walked over to the bed slowly, sitting herself down in the middle.

"So, might I ask your name, young one?" Taomon asked softly, smiling at the young frightened Renamon who was now slowly moving closer to Jade and Taomon in the middle of the bed.

"Might I have some water, please?" she asked meekly, her voice rough as she spoke. All Taomon looked at Jade as Jade teleported away, only to return a few minutes later holding a bowl in her paws.

"Here, drink this; it will help," Jade said as she passed the bowl to the young Renamon. The girl took the bowl gratefully from Jade and drank all the water in one gulp, looking back at Jade with a smile on her muzzle before turning her head towards Taomon.

"Feeling better?" Taomon asked softly to the Renamon on the bed, who just nodded her head at Taomon. Taomon turned to Jade.

"Jade, would you mind If I spoke to our guest alone?" Taomon asked her daughter.

"Sure Mom. It's late anyway; I think I'll head up to bed. I wish you a good night, Mom." Jade yawned before giving Taomon a hug. Taomon placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Good night, my sweet Jade," Taomon said as she watched Jade walk out of the doorway. She then turned her head towards the young Renamon sitting on the bed.

"Thank you," the Renamon said meekly with a small smile on her muzzle as Taomon starts to speak.

"Now, would you mind telling me who you are and what happened to you?" Taomon asked softly as she held out her paw to the Renamon. The Renamon put her paw on top of Taomon's as she started to speak.

"That's not important right now, Lady Taomon. The village I'm from was about to be attacked by an evil digimon just before I left to find help," she told Taomon as tears slowly fell from her eyes.

"I was sent to find help by the village elders, hoping to find Lady Taomon to help my clan from being destroyed by the evil digimon and the dark army he controls. All I was told is that it's looking for one Renamon in particular," she explained as the tears became a steady flow down her face. Taomon looked shocked at what she had just heard.

"Where is your village, young one?" Taomon asked the crying Renamon as she pulled her closer and put her arm around her.

"It's to the southeast of here, about a day's walk," the girl told Taomon as she sobbed into her paws.

"Ok. I will go and help, but now you must tell me who attacked you." Taomon spoke softly, trying to calm the crying Renamon.

"I was attacked by its dark army before I got here," the Renamon explained to Taomon, who then turned her head towards the door.

"Rosie, please come here," Taomon called loudly. Within a minute, Rosie appeared in front of them.

"You called, Lady Taomon?" Rosie asked as she bowed her head.

"I did, Rosie. Can you look after this young Renamon while Storm, Jade, and myself go away for a few days?" Taomon asked the maid Renamon..

"Certainly, Lady Taomon," Rosie answered as Taomon got up of the bed, looking at the Renamon sitting on the bed drying her eyes with her paws.

"Thank you, Lady Taomon," The Renamon said gratefully as she sniffed.

"You're welcome, young one. I better get Jade and Storm, then we will be heading off," Taomon told her as she walked out of the room, leaving the two young Renamon girls alone. Taomon headed up to Jade's room and knocked on the door.

"Jade, Storm, I need you two to come with me now," Taomon called to them. A few moments later the door opened and Jade and Storm walked out holding each others' paw.

"What's up, Taomon?" Storm asked the robed digimon as he held Jade's paw.

"That Renamon we helped just told me that the village she came from is under attack and she was sent to look for me. All three of us are going to help her village, as you two can digivolve," Taomon told them.

"How are we going to get there, Mom?" Jade asked Taomon.

"I can teleport all three of us there, so if you two are ready hold on to my paws," Taomon told them. Jade and Storm looked at each other as they nodded in agreement, taking hold of Taomon's paws while Taomon started chanting a spell.

The next thing they knew, Jade and Storm felt wind circuiting around them, their bodies becoming weightless as their eyes closed, then they felt the ground beneath their hind paws.

Storm opened his eyes first, gasping at the sight of the destroyed village, seeing all the rubble, the smell of burning wood filling the air. Storm had a flashback to the town from his nightmare a few weeks before.

Jade and Taomon opened their eyes, seeing all the damage and destruction, both shocked at what they saw. Dead bodies covered the ground. The village looked more like a battlefield than a place where Renamon lived.

"What the hell happened here?" Storm demanded to know. His ears twitched at the sound of movement behind them. Turning as quickly as he could, he came face-to-face with an injured male Renamon who had gashes all over his body and a fresh cut across his left eye.

"Thank the gods our call for help was answered. My mate got to you Lady Taomon?" he coughed and wet blood covered most of his fur. He fell towards Storm, who caught him. He looked weakly up at Storm.

"Is my mate alive?" he asked Storm, who just nodded his head. The Renamon in Storm's arms closed his eyes, his breathing became weaker as his body began to go cold.

"Tell her I love her," he requested of Storm with his last breath as he fell limp in Storm's arms. Storm gently put him on the ground as he closed the dead Renamon's eyes with his paw.

Storm scanned around, looking for more survivors from the attack. Jade walked over to Storm, taking hold of his paw in both of hers, fear in her eyes while Taomon walked over to the couple and placed her paw on Jade's shoulder, looking at Storm.

"I want to know who attacked this village," Taomon asks aloud. They heard a sound coming from behind them, of metal clanking against itself, slowly getting louder and louder. All three of them turned around to see a seventeen-foot shadow standing behind a cloud of smoke, its eyes glowing blood red.

Jade and Storm looked at each other. Knowing what that had to do nodding there heads.

"Ready, Jade?" Storm shouted.

"Yes. Are you?" Jade shouted back.

"Yeah," Storm replied as both of them reached for there digivices.

"Warp digi-volution," they shouted together, holding their digivices into the air as a beam of white light erupted in to the darken sky. As the light surrounded them, light digi-eggs formed around their digivices making a high pitch beeping as a voice called out from both their digivices.

"Warp matrix digi-volution," both digivices said at the same time.

"Renamon warp digivolve to..." Jade's voice echoed from within the green energy egg as it formed around her then exploded, revealing Jade's ultimate form.

"Taomon," Jade's voice boomed in a deeper tone. She looked like her mother, only in green instead of the normal purple cloth.

As a black Digi-egg started to form around Storm, he felt an enormous surge of power flow all throughout his body.

"Devil-Renamon warp Digivolve to..."

The Digi-egg that had formed around him exploded out around him to revel a black-armoured Renamon twelve feet tall. His voiced boomed out as he spoke.

"Dark-oraclemon."

The cold blood red eyes and the outline of their owner still shone through the smoke. As Storm looked at the two red eyes, he had a flashback to his nightmare, remembering the eyes on the moon. Storm came back to reality by shaking his head.

Storm, Jade, and Taomon got into a battle stances as they all faced the shadowy figure. The monster glared at them his with his cold eyes, piercing into the depths of their souls, sending waves of fear deep into them.

A gentle breeze started to blow, moving Jade's and Taomon's robes softly. Storm's fur was also slowly moving in the breeze as the smoke started to clear.

The smoke cleared to reveal who the shadow was. There stood a seventeen-foot tall dinosaur warrior covered in black scales from head to toe with two blood red eye slits on his head. It was covered in dark green armor over most of its body with gloves that had a set of three blades on each end. The fires that burned around them reflected on its armor.

He spoke in a cold, hate-filled and cruel voice.

"At last, the one I seek has arrived," he said coldly, looking towards to trio.

"But I see I will have two pests to take care of first," he said as he started to laugh.

He lifted his armor-covered fists into the air. As he brought them down, claws extended on each of his gloves. He looked at the group with an evil smirk on his dark face.

"So, who's first?" he cold voice ran through them as if they had been hit with ice water. Taomon started to speak to the dark digimon.

"Who are you, and why have you destroyed all these Renamon villages?" Taomon demanded to know of the dark green digimon.

He laughed evilly, looking at the three digimon as he lifted his armor-covered arms into the air and summoned a dark green ball of energy.

"As you asked so nicely, I'll tell you." He paused as he looked from Storm to Jade and finally to Taomon.

"I am Dark Venom Wargraymon. I have been looking for the Renamon of legends, and I can see that it is here with us now," he was now speaking with an evil laugh.

"Now, let's make this more fun, shall we?" He laughed as he summoned a dark green energy ball between his claws.

"Dark nova drain," he shouted as he threw the energy ball at the group, hitting the ground in from of them. Storm and Jade both collapsed to the ground as their energy was drained from them, turning them both back into their Renamon forms. As Jade and Storm lay on the ground Taomon ran to them to see if they were ok.

"Storm, Jade, are you two alright?" Taomon asked as she knelt down between them. Both were slowly starting to recover from the dark attack, lifting themselves off the ground. Taomon got up and stood between them and Dark Venom Wargraymon.

"I won't let you get near them, you vile beast!" Taomon shouted at the dark digimon, staring straight into its eyes. Jade and Storm got up on their paws. They saw Dark Venom Wargraymon start to speak to Taomon as he extended his clawed gloves.

"Then you shall feel and fall at my blades first, bitch," Dark Venom Wargraymon yelled as he ran toward Taomon thrusting his fist forward. His metal claws hit Taomon in the stomach, piercing her through her robes and fur.

Jade saw what happened as if time had slowed down. She could see the blades enter her mother's body and hear her screams of pain, but there was no sound as the blades pushed all the way through Taomon's body. Blood exploded out of Taomon's back as Venom Wargraymon's claws broke through her robes. Dark Venom Wargraymon was watching and laughing at his victim.

Taomon's body went limp, still impaled on the dark digimon's clawed glove. With one swift motion he pulled his arm around and flung her body to the ground. She landed just a few feet away from Jade and Storm. They both rushed over to Taomon.

"Mom? Mom? I'm here, Mom." Jade started to cry as she spoke. She held her mother as Storm tried his best to stop the bleeding, but there was too much blood to stop as he looked at Jade.

"Momma please don't... don't leave me, I love you, Momma," Jade begged Taomon, who only rested her paw on Jade's head softly.

"Jade, I'm sorry; I can't stop Tao's bleeding," Storm said softly to Jade as Taomon took his paws away from her and tried to smile at him with blood dripping from the side of her mouth.

"Storm, I-I-I want to speak to my daughter alone, please." Taomon coughed as she looked into Storm's eyes. He just nodded his head.

He walked a few feet away from them, looking at the dark digimon who just stood laughing at the sight of the dying digimon on the ground and the pool of blood welling around the mother and daughter. Storm had another flashback, one of his mother and Shadow after the Graymon attack.

"What's the matter, Black Renamon, having a nightmare?" Dark Venom Wargraymon taunted.

"MOM, MOM, don't go please, Mom, I need you," Jade sobbed into Tao's fur. Jade's fur was getting matted with Tao's blood as she looked into her eyes, watching her mother's life drain away slowly. She saw Taomon try to speak and moved her ear next to her mother's mouth.

"My child, you have a lifemate now, and my time for this life is coming to a close." Taomon gasped for air as she continued. "But well will see each other again, my child, that I'm sure of, my beautiful Jade, and until that day comes know that I love you, my daughter," Tao closed her eyes as she released her final breath.

Jade lay on top of Taomon's body, crying into her fur as her body started to change back into data before her eyes, not going toward Dark Venom Wargraymon but blowing free into the winds, returning to the place it belonged. Storm walked over to his mate and lifted her up, holding her in his arms with love and care.

Storm looked into Jade's eyes, seeing nothing but rage and hate for this beast, this thing, that just taken her mother's life. He rested his head on hers and put her ear to his chest, letting her listen to his beating heart.

"Storm, you know what I have to do, and I have to do this alone now." Jade growled as she pulled herself from her mate's arms. Storm grabbed hold of Jade's left paws and looked her in the eyes with a mixture of love and compassion.

"Jade, she was my mother as well, and we're lifemates. Anywhere you go I'll go by your side, in this life or the next," Storm said proudly as he kissed Jade on her lips. As they broke from their kiss they turned toward the Dark Digimon. They both howled into the dark sky as they started to charge at him.

"Jade, do it!" Storm shouted to Jade as she pulled her digivice off her glove and pressed the side button.

"Devil-Renamon mode change to Winged Devil-Renamon!" Storm's voice echoed as his black wings took form as they both charged towards the monster that had just killed Taomon. They were running through the smoke as a gloved claw grabbed Jade and threw her to the ground, knocking her out cold. Dark Venom Wargraymon walked toward her, one claw extending to become a sword.

Storm realized what was about to happen. He jumped into the air and flew at full speed, but he was too late, and the blade entered his shoulder and ripped through his body like a hot knife through butter and out into his wing.

As he was slammed into the ground, blood leaking from both sides of the sword, he could feel fire burning inside of him, running in his veins as Dark Venom Wargraymon let go of the sword and started to walk away from him.

All Storm could hear was Jade's faint breath only a few feet away from him as Dark Venom Wargraymon walked away from them into the smoke. He started to laugh darkly as he walked away from the two defeated Digimon lying in the mud, their fur soaked with mud and blood.

Jade started to slowly recover from being knocked out. There was silence, only broken by the sound of whimpers of pain from the male she loved. Jade tilted her head backwards on the ground to see her mate's body not more then a few feet away from her. He seemed like he was miles away. Jade painfully rolled on to her side, trying to call to her mate but the impact of hitting the ground had knocked her breath away.

"Storm? Storm, I'm here, my mate. I'm coming to help," Jade said in a whisper as she struggled to get to her paws, but was only able to crawl her way over to Storm's body. Her own body was racked with pain from the attack. As she looked down at Storm's shoulder, she saw all the blood that had covered his fur and the ground. She ran her paw over Storm's cheek, looking into his eyes with a false smile on her face.

"I'm here, Storm. I'm here, my love. There's nothing to fear anymore," Jade whispered as she kissed Storm on the lips. She started to pull herself up into a standing position, taking hold of the sword hilt in her paws.

"Storm, this is going to hurt when I do this," Jade told her mate softly as she took hold of the sword tightly and pulled with all the strength she had left within her. Slowly the sword started to move out of his shoulder. His blood sprayed off the blade, landing on Jade's fur and the ground, then Jade threw the sword behind her in one quick movement. She bent down to hear what her mate was trying to say.

"Jade, I'm-I'm-I'm-I'm sorry I let you down." Storm choked as he coughed up blood as he spoke. Jade interrupted him.

"You haven't let me down, my love. You saved my life, and our cub's life as well," Jade whispered as she held his body close to her own. Jade knew that there was nothing she could do about his wound; all she could do was hold him.

"I'm so tired, my beautiful Jade. I can't stay awake much longer," Storm whispered to his mate as he started to close his eyes, feeling her warm breath on his neck as she kissed his lips for a few moments before pulling away from him. Tears started to well up in her eyes.

"I'm safe now, my love. You can rest now, Storm. I love you, my mate." Jade sniffed as she felt Storm's heart slowing. She held him close to her as she rested her head on his chest. Storm started to speak.

"Know that I love you always, Jade," Storm's soft voice faded away as he closes his eyes and his body fell limp in Jade's arms, both of them on the ground. Her mate's body on her thighs, Jade pulled him close to herself, pressing her head into his chest as tears poured down her face.

"Storm, come back to me! Come back, come back!" Jade howled into his cold chest as more tears ran down her face and onto him. Suddenly, she felt something hard hit the back of her head and the world around her went black. Dark Venom Wargraymon stood over Jade's limp body with a evil grin on his face as he chuckled to himself.

"You will do nicely, Renamon. You will be my personal breeder, and you have no one to save you now," Dark Venom Wargraymon said, he picking her body up in his arms and slinging her over his shoulder as he walked away from the body on the ground.

We see Storm's body lying on the ground with two blue orbs floating around him, watching him not moving.

What's going to happen to Jade and her cub? What are those blue orbs around Storm, and will this more than likely kill my writing for the future? Find out in the final chapter of the Devil Renamon saga.
