Damien meets a new friend in the Pokemon center, though this new friend may turn out to be more trouble then he's worth.

Damien shrugged off his backpack as he slid into the seat of the Pokémon center; he slowly rotated his shoulders as he relaxed. "Hard trip?" A voice from behind him made him jump, Damien quickly looked behind him to see an oddly dressed individual standing in front of him. "Oh hello, yeah I had to climb over a mountain." The stranger smiled and pointed with his hand to the seat next to Damien, "Mind if I sit?" Damien shook his head. The stranger slid into the chair and held out his hand to Damien, "I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Jordan." Damien smiled and took Jordan's hand into his own as they shook hands, "My name is Damien." The pair started to trade comments on what Pokémon they had met recently, as they talked Damien glanced over the other trainer's clothing. It was pretty obvious that Jordan loved fire type Pokémon; his clothes seemed to have flame marks all over them. Jordan noticed Damien's wandering eye, "You're wondering about my clothes eh?" Damien scratched his head in embarrassment, "I didn't mean to seem rude but your clothes are some of the most unique I've ever seen." Jordan stood up and flashed him a smile, "Check out the back, it has the marking of my favorite Pokémon." The trainer turned around and Damien saw that the back had the markings of a Cyndaquill, "Your favorite Pokémon is a Cyndaquill?"

Jordan chuckled, "Actually all three forms of Cyndaquill are, I absolutely adore the three of them." With a flourish he pulled out two Pokeballs, he grinned as he tossed them high into the air and they released red lasers from inside them. Two Pokémon stood where the lasers had touched the floor; a Cyndaquill and a Typhlosion were standing there looking strong. "Wow they look really well bred." Damien stated as he looked over the two, having breeders as parents he had a good eye for well-bred Pokémon. Jordan grinned in glee, "I trained these two to the best of my ability, though I'll admit I had a lot of help from some traveling trainers." Damien laughed, "Helped by giving you hints or you beating their Pokémon?" Jordan took on an innocent look, "A little bit of A, a little bit of B." After they laughed for a little bit Damien realized that there was a Pokémon missing from the set, "I see that you have these two but where is Quilava?" Jordan sighed in frustration, "Well I've been looking for a Quilava for a long time but I can never seem to find one..." Damien could see the disappointment on his new friends face, "Hey give me your Pokégear number and I'll keep my eyes open for one, if I find one I'll call you up immediately." Jordan grinned in delight, "Would you really man? That means so much to me; I have to repay you somehow." Damien smiled and shook his head, "I don't need anything." Jordan frowned and looked over his person before his eyes settled on a band on his arm, "Well let me at least give you this." He slipped off the little band; it seemed to be made of a latex material. Jordan pushed it onto Damien's arm before the he could deny the gift. "There you go, a gift from one friend to another." Damien looked at the band and saw that it had the pattern of the other Trainer's favorite Pokémon. "Are you sure you want to give me this? This is a really nice looking band." Jordan smiled at Damien, "Don't worry, believe me what you're doing for me is far more important than some simple band." Damien sighed and finally gave in, "Alright, thanks man I'll help you out to the best of my ability." After trading Pokégear numbers the pair went to order separate rooms and went to bed. As Damien climbed into his bed he looked at the band on his arm, the material of the band felt like a damp cool towel pressed against his skin. He tried to pull it off but found that he couldn't, normally he would find this odd but he just assumed that he was too tired to be able to get a good grip on the material. As he slipped into sleep he slightly shivered as the latex slid over his hand and started to change his hand. While Damien slept Jordan silently celebrated in his room, he knew that it was now only a matter of time before he had his new Pokémon. His Cyndaquill and Typhlosion both sat completely obedient to their trainer's commands, "Don't you two worry, soon you will have another brother to complete your set." Jordan said with a sly grin on his face. As Damien woke up he slowly scratched his head, he didn't notice that his hand had become a Pokémon's paw. Damien slipped out of his bed and started to get dressed, as he changed out of his shirt he noticed a stream of black extending up his arm. "What the fuck?..." He glanced up his arm and started to panic, "What is this?!" He tried to wipe the liquid off of his arm and found that not only was the latex off of his arm but he found that it transferred to his other arm. Damien tore out of his arm and pounded on Jordan's door, as he did so some neighboring occupants glanced out of their rooms and glared at him. "Sorry..." He said and started to knock softer, after a moment Jordan poked his head out from the crack of his door. "Oh Damien, what's wrong man?" Damien glared at the trainer, "This is my problem, what is this shit?!" He pointed to the accusing arm, "Oh that? I'm sorry man, that's just a little prank." Damien stood still for a moment taking in his friend's answer, "A prank?..." Jordan laughed lightly and nodded, "It's a special bracelet made of this magnet like substance. You see it follows the iron in your blood and moves across the skin while following the iron." Damien looked at his friend incredulously, "Are you kidding me? Why would you do this to me, and better yet why did this not happen to you?" Jordan scratched his head and laughed, "Well you see while I was wearing it I had a special material under the band which prevented it from spreading." After a moment Damien sighed, "Alright I believe you, is there anything that can remove this gunk?" Jordan smiled and nodded, "Yeah I have some but it'll have to wait until after breakfast. I'm absolutely famished." As if to compliment his friend's comment Damien's stomach growled. "It looks like you are too." Jordan laughed, after a moment Damien joined in with him. "I'm sorry for getting so angry, though I wished that you hadn't done this." Jordan giggled, "I'm sorry but I love pranks from time to time, and who better to prank then a new friend? If you test them and they get over it then I think they'd make a good friend." Damien nodded at Jordan's train of thought, "I guess its sound thinking. But realize that one day I'm going to get you back for this." Jordan snorted in laughter, "I look forward to the day. Why don't you go ahead and get us a table in the front while I finish getting dressed." Damien nodded and went into his room to gather his supplies. Jordan smiled as he slipped back into his room, "I'm glad that I wrote up that excuse beforehand or that could've gotten messy." He whistled as he gathered up all of his things, as he reached towards the table he picked up a brand new ultra ball. "I think this one shall do for my new Pokémon." He slipped out of his room to meet up with Damien in the front, "Sorry for keeping you waiting so long." Damien waved his hand in a dismissing motion, "Its fine, I already ordered us some food."

As the pair ate Damien kept on pausing in-between bites to scratch at his arm, "I hope that whatever cure you have works, because this shit itches like nothing I've ever come across." Jordan smiled cheerfully, "Don't you worry, once you use this stuff it'll all be a problem of the past." Damien nodded and pushed the fork with his food into his mouth. After they ate they both chipped in for the breakfast and stood up. They walked back into Damien's room and sat down, "So what is the stuff that will take away this?" He lifted his arm to signify what he meant; Jordan dug into his backpack and pulled out a bottle of soap. "Here it is, this will take away all of this." Damien smiled and took the bottle from his friend, "Thanks man, sorry again for shouting at you earlier." Jordan shook his head and smiled, "I deserved it. Well I'll give you some time to take a quick shower and then I'll meet up with you when you're done." Damien waved his friend goodbye and looked at the bottle; it appeared to have no significant markings on it. "Well if he said that it'll work then I guess I might as well try it out." He walked into the bathroom and started up a shower, as he looked into the mirror he saw that the latex was expanding over his body. "Goodbye good, no more of my body shall be covered by you any longer." He climbed out of his clothes and clambered into the shower, as he let the water run over his body he noticed that the water by itself did nothing to the climbing goo. "Well let's see if this soap will do as it's marketed to." He squirted out some of the soap and watched as it sprayed into his covered hand, he observed that it was a tar black color. "I hope this works..." He started to spread the soap all over his body, as he did so he smiled as a relieving sensation spread through his body. As he realized that the soap was relieving his itch he spread more and more soap over his body, as he scrubbed in he didn't realize that the soap wasn't just relieving the itching it was also spreading the goo faster. "Ooohhh..." Damien moaned in relief as the itching feeling disappeared altogether, he looked down smiling to witness the goo disappearing but it quickly turned to terror as he realized that the goo was spreading faster. "No! No no no!" He tried to tear the goo off but it stayed on his skin, as it spread Damien started to realize that he was starting to shrink. "What's happening to me?!" He shivered as he felt his bones suddenly start to pop as a tail started to sprout from above his butt. "Holy shit..." Damien panted in terror as the transformation wracked his body with a mixture of pain and... enjoyment. As the latex spread he realized that the skin that the goo had left wasn't made of the goo any longer but was now actual skin, Damien reached out and shivered as he felt his hand press against his new skin. As the latex spread over his throat and up his face he felt his voice fall as his voice box changed, the next time he tried to talk instead of his voice he heard the voice of a... Pokémon?

By this time Damien realized that his legs could no longer normally support him and he fell onto his front hands... paws. Damien suddenly heard a hissing sound and a sensation of pain, the water was now starting to steam off of his skin. Damien jumped out of the shower and panted as his body shuddered in pain, as he panted in pain the latex seemed to notice his moment of weakness and spread even faster.

Damien suddenly felt his body heat up as the goo left his back; he glanced back and gaped in horror as he witnessed a flame burn from his back. Damien tried to jump back under the water hoping to put out the fire but as the flame started to die out he screamed out in pain, the water felt like acid wherever it touched him. As Damien stumbled once more out of the shower the latex finished changing his outer appearance. After a moment of pain Damien was able to clamber up onto the toilet and from there onto the bathroom counter, he looked into the mirror and saw a Quilava looking back at him. "Q... Quilava?!" Damien nearly fell off the counter top at the sight, as he looked over himself he started to cry from the horror of what he was looking at. He had become a Pokémon, he should've known better than to trust Jordan. As he tried to process what was happened he noticed that some latex was trickling into his ear, he started to wonder where it was going but then he realized. It was going for his brain, Damien tried to shake the latex out of his ear but it proved pointless as it had already gotten too deep.

Damien's body suddenly went stiff as he felt the cool sensation of latex against his brain, he tried to think of a way to get the latex out of his head but he quickly found that it was becoming extremely hard to think. The latex seemed to be blanketing his thoughts and were draining them away, "Quilava..." He grunted in distress as he felt the latex draining away each of his memories, not only that but it seemed to be taking away some of his higher mental abilities.

As he forgot he also started to remember, he had never been a Pokémon trainer. He had been a Pokémon his whole life; his trainer Jordan had saved him as a Cyndaquill from an awful Crobat who had been attacking him. Jordan had taken care of him and had nursed him back to good health, not only that but he also introduced him to a Quilava who quickly adopted him as his little brother. Jordan had trained him to be as strong of a Pokémon as he could possibly be and had gotten him to evolve into a strong Quilava. Soon after he had met his little adoptive brother Cyndaquill, he knew that his family loved him very much. As these memories started to settle Damien's remaining humanity tried to rebel against these new thoughts but was quickly losing, the latex was quelling the seeds of rebellion. After a few minutes of a fight Quilava looked around him in confusion, where was Jordan and his brothers? He hopped off of the counter and pushed his way through the bathroom door, he sniffed around and jumped in excitement as he smelled Jordan. He scratched at the front door and quickly in response Jordan opened the door. "Oh there you are Quilava, I was wondering where you were." Quilava cried in happiness to his master, he had never been so glad to see his trainer. Jordan laughed in joy as his Pokémon nuzzled him, "Calm down Quilava, believe me we'll have plenty of time to spend together." Jordan reached into his pocket and brought out an ultra-ball, "Now it's time to go into your Pokeball Quilava." Quilava chirped in happiness and poked the front of the ultra-ball with his nose and went into it. After a moment of shaking the ultra-ball stopped and Jordan was in command of a whole new Quilava, "Finally I have a complete set, thank you Damien for not only finding me a new Quilava but for being my new Quilava." He laughed in happiness as he grabbed Damien's bag from the room and locked the door behind him. "I can't have anyone finding any of this stuff." Jordan whistled a cheery tune as he walked away from the room, but he had seemed to of forgotten about one little thing. Within the bathroom a running shower continued with a leaking bottle of soap pouring out a black rubbery liquid into the pipes.
