I'm dying...and you don't even care?

Is Elizabeth gone? Or will she make it?


Chapter 1:

Elizabeth wakes with a terrible feeling. Although, she's blind and can't smell anything, she knew that something was wrong. She grabs her walking stick and goes to find the door. When she grabbs the metal door knob and it burnt her hand. She pulled her shirt up and put around the knob to open it. Pulling the door open her fur gets warm. With every step she takes her fur gets hotter.

She finds her baby brother Ash's room. He lay there in his crib crying and screaming. Leaning over she felt his face and he calmed down. Hoisting him onto his hip she goes straight to Abby her little sister's room next to his and gets her. Her little sister carring her stick and pulling her towards mommy and daddy's room but Elizabeth pulls towards the front porch door.

"Mommy!" Abby cries. "Here! Take your baby brother!" Elizabeth says. "And go stand outside!" She pushes Abby out the door and with-out her walking stick goes to her parent's room. She feels their bed to find them gone. Feeling around the room she finds that the window was broken to the front lawn. At this time she can hear sirens outside.

Elizabeth paniced and tripped over the bed. Laying there she felt around for something...anything! Grabbing onto the bed sheets, she barely pulls here self up. Then her fur gets hot very quickley. She sticks her hands out to get burned. She was surrounded by the red flame.

Elizabeth's parents look franticly around the yard and checks with everybody. She grabbes Abby's arms. "Where is your sister!" she asked worriedly. "Mommy.Elizabeth went back inside to get yo-" At that point a pain filled scream came from the house. Her mother looks at the house. Eyes wide. "Elizabeth!" she screamed. Running towards the fire line. The firemen block her from going into the burning house.

Dad wraps his arms around momma. And she begins to cry. The firemen slowly put out the fire and start to enter the house. At last they carried out a limp body.
