Wow, I used to write like this? ... And I remember this chapter being much longer.

Anyway, this is what I originally had in the story. What I am trying to write it now will be somewhat similar, in the sense that it's not horrifically detailed.

"Did you want to go back to the lake, or home?" Cloud asked as they wait for the valet attendant to bring their car to them.

"We could go back to the lake," Rye answered. "I want to see this island you were talking about."

"Or you want to see me strip again," Cloud muttered just loud enough so only Rye could hear.

Rye laughed. "And that too. But I see plenty of that at home."

"That's true," Cloud agreed. Rye's car pulled up and the valet gave the keys back to Cloud. "Thank you." Cloud tipped the valet before Rye and Cloud got in the car. Being late, Cloud found it easy to drive without running into much traffic.

With the iPod on, the otters didn't find much to discuss on their trip back. Sooner than Rye expected, they arrived back at the cabin. Slightly sleepy from the trip, Rye needed Cloud's help to get out of the car and go inside the cabin. But when Cloud brought Rye to the patio, he started to wake up more.

"Still want to go to the island?" Cloud asked.

"Of course," Rye said and started to take off his clothes.

"You seem to be in a hurry all of a sudden," stated Cloud. He also started to strip, but before he could finish, Rye decided to help by tugging on the rim of Cloud's boxers and then pulling them down to Cloud's ankles. "You know, I can undress myself."

Rye laughed. "It's so much more fun to undress you myself though."

"Hmm, maybe for you." Cloud chuckled. "Come on, the island isn't going to come to us." Cloud dove into the lake and Rye followed.

Without coming back up for air, Cloud started to swim toward the middle of the lake. Rye hesitated long enough to realize the moon was right above them but soon followed Cloud. After a minute of following, Rye decided to swim beneath the surface so he dove a few feet and then continued following. Although dark, Rye could see Cloud's teasing underside clearly as they continued to swim.

Trying not to look at Cloud, Rye couldn't help but keep glancing up at Cloud. Rye's body started to get aroused, his heart skip a beat or two and his blood started to move to his groin. Rye bit his lip, trying to keep his thoughts clean but he ran out of time as the lake's floor rose up and broke the surface, where Cloud was crawling out of the water.

Breaking surface and gathering a breath, Rye watched Cloud lie down on the shore of the island. Rye crawled up the shore but stopped and kneeled in the water so that it was waist-high. Rye kept his paws between his thighs. Cloud noticed Rye's hesitation and looked up.

"Are you okay?" Cloud asked concerned.

"Yeah," Rye answered. He hesitated and blushed. "I just need a moment to get my thoughts clean."

It took a moment for Cloud to understand what Rye meant, and he grinned. "You were swimming below me."

"Yeah," confessed Rye. "Your body is a very dangerous temptation."

With a giggle, Cloud got back up and waded over to Rye and knelt in front of him. He reached down and gripped Rye's wrists, almost touching Rye's sheath. "You don't need to be embarrassed Rye."

Rye's blush grew a heavier shade of red and he felt lightheaded as Cloud lightly pulled Rye's paws away from between his thighs. Still resisting somewhat, Rye submitted to Cloud's pull. The whole scenario only worsened his problem. Rye allowed Cloud to pin Rye's arms to his side but they continued to stare in each other's eyes, instead of what Rye expected Cloud to do: glance down at his groin to confirm his assumptions.

Cloud was grinning, and Rye had a nervous and shy expression on his face.

"I've had to keep myself under control the whole time I was at camp," Rye informed Cloud. "It made me shy of this now."

"I know," Cloud said comfortingly. "I won't do anything that makes you uncomfortable. That's why I haven't glanced down yet."

"It won't make me uncomfortable if you do."

"You sure?"

Rye thought about it for a moment, still staring into Cloud's eyes. His heart beat unevenly and his blood pulsed quickly throughout his body. He was aware that his sensitive flesh was fully exposed from his sheath. Rye finally closed his eyes, breaking the stare and nodded.

"I don't see what you're so shy about," Cloud said, letting go of Rye's pinned paws.

Rye opened his eyes to see Cloud still looking down between Rye's legs. His own eyes travelled down Cloud's body and Rye saw that Cloud was just as exposed as Rye was. Cloud looked back up and stared again into Rye's eyes. Without saying anything, he leaned in and kissed Rye passionately.

Early the next morning, Rye was awakened by the morning birds squawking. Rye was resting on Cloud's chest and Cloud's arms were in a death grip around Rye. Cloud's heartbeat was slow and it echoed in Rye's ears.

Rye grinned as the memories of the night before came back to him. Allowing Cloud to rest, Rye didn't move but it wasn't necessary because the birds woke him up as well no more than a minute after Rye woke up.

"Good morning sweetheart," Rye said.

"'Morning sexy," Cloud returned the greeting.

"Last night was wonderful," commented Rye, relaxing on Cloud's chest again.

"Yes it was," Cloud agreed. "I couldn't have been happier losing my virginity to anyone else."

Rye giggled. "Same here."

For several minutes they laid on the shore, cuddling in silence. Only the sounds of the lake's waves and the animals could be heard.

Cloud suddenly inhaled sharply and sat up reflexively. Rye's heart stopped for a moment when he fell off Cloud's chest, wondering if Cloud was hurt.

"Shit," Cloud muttered then spoke to Rye. "It's Monday, we have school today."

Rye hesitated. "Cloud, don't scare me like that. I thought a spider bit you or something."

"Sorry Rye," Cloud said. "I didn't mean to scare you. Damn school for ruining our moment."

Yawning, Rye sat up also. "I guess we should shower here then. My fur is a bit . . . dirty because of you."

"I tried to clean up my mess," Cloud said innocently.

Rye laughed. "You can clean me anytime you want. Come on otter, let's swim back."

"No swimming under me this time."

Rye laughed and waded out in the water with Cloud.

Two hours later, they were dressed in more casual clothes the day before and already in the school parking lot. They were surprised to see that they were still some of the first at the school, so they stayed in the car to talk.

"If you don't mind, I think we should take it easy today after school," said Rye. "All the excitement in the past couple days wore me out."

"That's okay," Cloud said. "It allows me to have you all to myself."

"You had me all to yourself last night," Rye reminded him.

Cloud laughed. "I also have something to tell you. I arranged my schedule so we all have the same classes together. I have straight A's in all them so now you've got competition."

"Sounds like a challenge to me. Come on, let's at least go sit near the building."
