#16 of Exploration

Two weeks after Central New Year, I was at my home, with Alecto and Gareth in the kitchen. Alecto was still trying to teach Gareth to cook, but I think his methods could be improved on, because he worked by a system of you get it wrong, you get punished. Gareth enjoyed the punishments, so it wasn't working. But then Draco appeared. Seven in the morning, and he was smiling at me. How did people get up so well in the morning. He beckoned me over, and sat down.

"We've got a new planet to explore. Surface scans show an excessive amount of metal, so it could be rich with the stuff. We can beam down in two hours, so kit up. A temperature scan shows that it's about reasonable, so we only need light clothing."

"Excellent." I enthused, grabbing my kit together. My back pack was filled with water, food, clothes, ammunition, and the whole thing only weighed in at eight kilograms. Then I had my rifle across my shoulder, sunglasses, a Swiss army knife in my pocket, and a very snazzy set of clothes. Today I was wearing black trousers, and a black T-shirt with MIB on the back.

No one got the irony of the T-shirt, and after half a minute of uncomfortable travel, we arrived in a corridor of Central.Simba turned up about three minutes later, and good old Devlin was there to see us off. I held Simba's wrist, Draco held mine, and Simba pressed the button. Every time we did this, I got a characteristic feeling of excitement in the thought I would be exploring a new planet.

Then we arrived. It's a short sentence, but it involved a lot of action. As we appeared on the new planet, I instinctively had to dive sideways, because something was coming towards us, fast.As I hit the solid steel road, I saw that it was a variation of a car, a car I had never seen before. It did not run along the ground, more rather hover a good ten inches off the ground. It was streamlined for maximum aerodynamic principles, and jet black. It headed towards Draco and Simba, who were still slightly behind with the times, and hit what I would call brakes. It came to a rather solid stop five inches from Draco's outstretched wings, because he was trying to take to the air.

We all stood, or in my case lay, watching the transport. I could hear the pink-pink of cooling, and waited for someone to get out. Whoever they were, their technology was remarkably advanced. I also looked around during this second, and saw tall silver buildings, and roads just like the ones on Earth, except metallic. In the sky many aircraft creatures flew, and I saw a few other cars, some now heading this way on purpose. Simba started to activate his microphone, and then stopped.

The car was changing shape. This looked exactly like the scene in Transformers. Simba and Draco looking up as the robot monster reformed into a humanoid form. There was a few seconds pause, and then Simba started speaking in a blur.

"Dominant creature is a robot of some sort, with the ability to form into a mode of transportation, like a car or plane."

Then the robot bent down, and spoke.

"Who are you?" the voice grated.I held one of my ears, for it was an awful and yet harmonious sound.

Draco bowed deeply. Rule number one, bow to everyone.

"I'm sorry, sir,"he barely paused," we are explorers from another galaxy, and we came to this planet to see what lives here. Unfortunately we had no idea we were arriving in the middle of a road."

The robot looked at the three of us, towards another car that had come to a halt. This one in turn began to change into another robot. It was a wonderfully brilliant gold colour, and it seemed as though it was of a higher rank, or more important. It stared at us curiously, as if a robot could do that.

"How interesting. Bio-organic lifeforms, yet their technology is almost equalled to ours. Our deep space probes have found a few life forms, but nothing like this." this one had scientist written over it.Not literally, but in manner and tone.

"What has to be done?"

The scientist looked at the silver robot.

"Nothing. There is no rule about creatures from other galaxies coming here, but I am very interested in them.I've always wanted to find a bit more out.A bionic creature for example. Could one combine our DNA with one of these?"

As he said that, I shouted.

"Not in Hell. Run for it!"I ran straight into the nearest building. It was only a good fifty stories high, and seemed fairly deserted.I was not going to be an experiment of theirs.Draco and Simba picked it up two seconds after me, and very quickly caught me up as I found a stairwell going up.

"They want to turn us into one of them?"

"A hybrid creature." I clarified. "Trust a scientist.Simba, can we leave?"

"Yes. Hold hands."

Then a small ball was flung into our midst from below. We looked at it.

"Grenade!" I shouted, throwing myself behind a wall. It went off, filling the room with light and smoke. No explosives, just light and smoke. Then Simba shouted.

"The teleport's gone!"

Draco looked around, thinking deeply, and then spoke.

"It's an electromagnetic pulse, knocking out all electronic equipment.None of the lights in here are working anymore. We can't teleport, we have no weapons."

"Tell me when things are going bad."I replied, drawing my rifle. I drew another bullet out of my pocket, wrapped in soft paper. Draco looked at it.

"What's so special about that?"

"I did the same at New Year. They're AP bullets, and they penetrate armour and such with much more success."

There was a clomp noise, and a robot appeared at the bottom of the stairwell. I aimed, and fired. There was the harsh crack, and then we were running up, praying something would give us some luck.I heard a voice downstairs.

"Hmm, they seem to be afraid of your idea. One just fired a primitive weapon at me."

"Why wasn't it knocked out by the EMP?"

"I think it is a very ancient projectile weapon."

"I didn't know they were still in existence."

"On other planets, perhaps."

Oh joy. Even AP had no effect. As we went past level twenty, I opened the door to the floor, and went inside. Draco and Simba followed. There were two robots in here, and neither of them were looking at us, yet.I went to the window, and looked at twenty floors of gap to the ground. As I watched, a helicopter went past, it's rotors beating the air. It looked like an Apache, and it was looking at the building. The drum of the rotors got nearer, and as I watched, it was joined by what looked like one our F-35's, it's crystalline panelling looking absolutely marvellous in the twin light of the suns.

As I looked at the two hovering robotic vehicles, Simba grabbed a long line of rope, and tied it to a solid girder. Then he jumped out the window. The glass shattered, and he fell from sight. Draco jumped, his wings folding like an avenging angel, and he dived headlong towards the ground.I looked out the window, then at the silver robot entering the room, and then grabbed the rope. Swinging myself out the window, I slipped ungracefully down the rope, following Simba, who was also going very fast. The Apache spotted us, as did the F-35.They dived to intercept, but Draco was already on the ground, and Simba was two thirds of the way down the rope. As he got to the ground, I was three floors up, and I let go. Falling at an increased rate, I fell quickly, only to be caught. The breath was crushed out of me, and I looked around. The jet had changed, and was now a gigantic robot with twin lances of fire coming from his feet. He had me by the shirt.

I solved that. As Simba shouted at Draco, he had spotted me, I dropped my rifle and backpack, and then eased out of my shirt. Draco caught me before I hit the ground, and the robot was looking down, my shirt in his hands. I grabbed both my essentials, and ran after the others. We ran into an alley, but as we did, four robots revealed themselves in the gloom.

"Bloody hell." Draco cursed.

"Why is nobody ever glad to see us?" I asked plaintively.

"But we are." the scientist came around the corner of the alley.

"Yes, you want to turn us into one of you. I don't want to turn up to work with a steel chest and fins out my back."

The scientist laughed.

Then I saw another grenade fall into the midst of us. This could not be good.It exploded, and a wave of choking gas washed over the three of us. I gave a groan, and fell to the ground. I can only suppose that the others did the same, because as soon as it happened I have no recollection of anything after it.I dreamed.

An eternal blackness. God knows how long it went on for, and then suddenly everything returned. Draco was standing over me, a peculiar item in his hand. It was like smelling salts. Then I saw what I was looking at.

"Draco! What have they done to us?"

Draco smiled. His arms and neck were plated with steel, and his eyes seemed to zoom in on me. As I sat up, his body was the same. His wings were unadorned, but his body was just steel. He moved like normal, and the steel moved with him, but it was nothing like what I had seen before.Simba was nowhere to be seen, and we were standing in a very large room, fifteen metres in height, and one hundred. At the top of the dome was an exit hole, about three metres across. I looked up at it, and saw the eerie red sky.

"How long have we been out of it?"

"About five hours."

Then I got up the courage to look at myself. Horror. My legs were plated in steel also, and had things like rockets on either side, slim tubes. Two larger ones were welded to my back, as though I had a permanent pack on my back, but only a very small pack. My hands and arms were a lattice of metal, and I could only think of one thing.

"What is Marie going to say when I turn up work looking like this?"

Draco laughed."How you've changed?" I managed a wry smile.

"Where's Simba?"

"Over that ridge. There's a robot over there.Apparently we are to test out our new abilities here, before they let us go."

"You mean they will let us go?"

"Of course, it's just they are intrigued by the question. Can organic life be given their DNA?"

Oh joy.I'm an experiment. Number three. I was a number, a statistic, in my own opinion. My rage burned again.I should have let my dad buy me that anger management book. I closed my hands.

"Right, I am seriously annoyed.Let's play by their rules."

I clasped my hands together, and whispered.

"If my name is Raptor, then so shall be my form.Transform!"

I concentrated hard. What happened next was possibly the biggest full body sneeze in existence. My entire body seemed to started shifting about on it's own accord. I felt myself lower down, felt my arms and legs disappear. It was seriously freaking me out. Then I opened my eyes. Draco spoke hoarsely.

"What are you?"

I spoke, and my voice emanated from a grille underneath the cockpit. My form was true to the full version.

"This is a aircraft from my planet, called a F-22 Raptor.Let's give them what they want."

This, I realised, became fairly simple. The robotic parts of my body obeyed the mind, so everything I concentrated on, happened. As I started thinking,my engines fired up, sending a fire burning through my 'body'. The whine of the twin jets was deafeningly loud, but not yet as loud as possible. The ground was perfectly smooth, and I taxied towards the ridge.

"Simba, watch this!" I shouted, and then concentrated as hard as I could.

Boom. Devil fire and light erupted from the jets, and I surged forward, the power of the jets firing me along the smooth steel. I rolled up the gentle ridge at approximately three hundred kilometres, and took off.

My 'eyesight' was actually much the same, it was as though the eyes were either side of the cockpit, so I had the long pointed nose of my craft, and above and below, nothing. Also, at the top of my gaze, a rear view, so I could see things behind me.Simba looked up from his conversation, and his face rearranged in complete astonishment. The robot actually clapped.

My movement through the sky was directed just by my mind. There was no clumsy mouse or keyboard like in Battlefield, I just thought, and the course was perfect. Nothing on Earth could fly like this.I made three passes around the room, my speed increasing to about two thirds the speed of sound, and then dived towards the centre of the room. Pulling up sharply, I aimed directly for the hole to my freedom.

I burst out of it, although I felt that it had only just been wide enough to fit my wings. I could feel them, but I had no true measurement of them.As I burst out, I heard Draco laugh, and the sound of another engine firing up.Doubtless I wasn't supposed to leave the confines of the building, but then, probably none of them had expected me to pick up that trick yet.

It wasn't worth the chase, and I dived back into the hole. None of them had moved, and I started slowing down to land. I angled upwards, reduced my speed, and managed a perfect landing on the steel floor. I taxied over to Draco.

"Not bad for an amateur."

Draco laughed.

"This could actually have some benefits."

"Except we can't be seen in public."

He nodded, his grin fading slightly.

"There is that."

Simba and the scientist walked over.

"That," said the bionic Simba," was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen, and that takes some beating."

The scientist bent down. I was about a foot in height now, in this form, but two metres long, nose to tail.

"You seem to have learnt fast. Each of you have two forms of your choice, although these forms can be changed over the space of one day. But I have thought of something else.Transform back."

I did so, squirming under the feeling.

"Concentrate on your own form." the scientist nodded.I did so, and while there was no whole body sneeze, Draco gasped.

"Hey, you're normal again!"

I looked down. My body was it's normal pink, and no steel shone anywhere. I threw myself at Draco in jubilation, hugging him. He concentrated his way back into his scaly self, and Simba did the same. The scientist looked at us.

"Once all of you have chosen two forms, and you have practised, for my knowledge, then you may go. You cannot teleport in here, because of the devices we have installed. So you have to leave the way Alduin did."

I was still annoyed at the scientist for changing my body, but quite relieved I could look my normal self. Draco thought briefly, and then concentrated. His body seemed to shift and shrink down, his arms and legs disappeared, and there lay a car.I had shown him my collection of model cars, and I recognised him as a Ferrari 612. Simba likewise shifted into a car, except he preferred a more classical car, and all of a sudden, he was a Porsche 904. As cars seemed to be a popular theme, I did likewise. Concentrating hard, I thought about a car. A car that had been designed on the principles of the Raptor.

"Oh come on."The Ferrari drove to his left, looking at me." That's a Lambo, isn't it?"

"Yep."I replied, looking back at him. I seemed to be looking from the windscreen, with the sleek nose in front of me.We were all about the same sizes, About a metre long, and proportionally tall and wide. "The Reventon. If you must be a car, be a cool car. That's why you chose the 612, and he chose the 904." I rocked on my suspension, giving the equivalent of a nod in the Porsche's direction.

The Porsche paused, and then spoke."This is really weird."

"Tell me about it." the Ferrari replied.

"Shall we race?" I suggested. I looked sideways, and realised I could also look out the side windows. Nice bonus. Plus, when I was looking forwards, I could see a rear view mirror that looked behind me.

So we raced.A typically, boyish thing to do. After ten minutes of driving around the room, Simba changed twice, and then appeared as a two metre long Cobra attack helicopter, I had seen it enough on Battlefield 2. Draco, having his wings already, turned into a three metre long jet boat, although there was no water, so he couldn't actually go anywhere.

"Clever." I said, staying in Lambo form."Then he's good in air, on land, and in water."

After another twenty minutes, and the sun setting in the sky, Both me and Simba changed into our flying forms, and Draco into his Bionic look, and we rose. Well, when I say we, I mean that Simba headed upwards, Draco headed upwards, and I took off like a conventional plane, and then went flying past them.

After landing in what I guessed to be a parking lot, we shifted into our bionic forms, and prepared to teleport. The scientist was looking at us with interest.

"In such a hurry to be away? Pity. We welcome strangers."

"If you welcome them like this, not many would like to come, sorry." Draco replied. the scientist laughed.

"If you aren't happy with this, we can change you back. But at least try it out. You might find it useful."

Trust him to look on the bright side of things.Simba tapped his button before we could say anymore.

Bam, arrived back on Central. We looked around at one another, realising just how well we blended in with the walls now.We looked at one another, and simultaneously changed into our normal forms.

One has to feel sorry for the glower. He came around the corner innocently, and spoke.

"You are early back. Was the habitat hostile?"

"Only mildly." I said, whistling a little tune.

"Did you have a bad time of it, then?"

"Oh, yeah, mostly." Simba replied, picking up my tune.

"It must have been, exciting. It normally is with you."

Draco smiled.

"Oh, it was. Shall I explain it to you? Simba can give his tapes to Tufty, and you still won't believe us."

The glower seemed to be confused, and even more so when me and Simba walked straight past him laughing. Tufty barely looked up as we entered.

"So, is it metal rich?"

"It's a giant city."

"So, probably not a good idea to try and mine it, then."

"No, the giant transforming robots might have something to say about it." I laughed. Simba smiled. Tufty's head shot up.

"What?"

Simba handed him the tape of recordings.

"Alduin, shall I?"

"No, I will."

I concentrated. Two seconds later I heard the desk being moved as Tufty stood up straight.

"How on Central..." he managed.

I was now in my Reventon form, and I did a very noisy series of donuts, and roared out of his office. Then I turned around, and came to a halt behind him.He looked at me in stunned shock, and then turned as Simba changed into his Cobra. The wind displacement slammed the door shut, and blew the paper everywhere, and he rose until he was hovering level with the stunned fox's mouth. The beat of the rotors was very loud in this enclosed space. Paper was flung into the walls and over the floor.

"They operated on us." Simba replied, his voice tinny and metallic through a grill behind the Gatling cannons. Tufty's jaw dropped.

"What did they do?"

"Apparently, combined our DNA, with their's." I said, from below his knees. He was still looking at the very noisy helicopter, and I decided to change back into my bionic form. He didn't even notice this, and so I grabbed him around the chest with my steel arms. He yipped in surprise, trying to struggle, but the foreign DNA had also made us all stronger and tougher.I wasn't immensely strong normally, but I now kept him in my grasp. Simba changed into his bionic form, and Tufty gasped.

"You normally look like that?" he directed at the lion. The lion nodded, the light shining off his reflective covering. He stripped completely, standing in front of the fox.

"They did this to me, to Alduin and to Draco, because they wanted to know what would happen." Simba whispered. Tufty tried to lean away, he was terrified.I looked at Simba's lower half, and my eyes went way up.

"Simba, our members are steel as well. The same size as normal for each of us, but steel plated never the less."

"Do they still function like they normally do?" Simba asked me. I shrugged.

"Could do. Only one way to find out though." I commented, giving Tufty a slight shake. The fox renewed his struggle.

"I'm not going to be a guinea pig!" he shouted.

"That's what we said, except they didn't listen."Simba shrugged," Besides, I bet you'll enjoy it once we get started."

I pulled down my trousers with my other hand, running a hand along my intimate areas.

"Interesting. Our intimates and that area is just normal skin, the only part of our body that is." I nodded to Simba, who agreed.

"Right, let's test out our equipment." he said, and he came up to Tufty, who struggled in my bear hug. Our cocks were the same length as they would be when fully erect, and there was no give in them. Tufty was about to have a very painful experience.Simba forced his into Tufty's vagina, as I did the same to his ass. He howled in pain.

As we began to thrust, Draco entered, in his normal form, followed by a glower. He looked at us critically.

"Why are we disturbing Tufty from his work?"

"We're doing important scientific research, based on what the robots did to us."

"Which is?"

"Do our steel members function the same as before? Don't tell me you haven't noticed."

"I hadn't actually.Carry on. I'll take notes."

Tufty cried as we began.

"No, Draco, please!" he implored the dragon. The glower, used to the behaviour of the scouts, merely watched from the entrance. We fucked him at a reasonable rate, although probably not reasonable to him, because soon he was moaning and crying in pain. His head was arched backwards, his arms locked in my grip. I could see his tears rolling down his face, because his head was to one side.

After two minutes of our steel poles, in essence, thrusting back and forth, Tufty arched back as far as he could go, and howled, orgasming in a torrent. Draco looked thoughtfully onwards, and then spoke.

"Well, people faced with you are going to enjoy themselves."

"No they are not!" Tufty managed to reply, before being rendered speechless again by another orgasm. His juice splashed out over mine and Simba's metal legs. Tufty orgasmed several more times, but after about the tenth time, I felt the familiar sensation that I was about to climax. The sensation felt no different from any other time, to be frankly honest. All the feelings in my member felt pretty much like they did when they were pink skin.

I thrust my cock all the way into him, and as he screeched in pain, let go with my load. After that, I withdrew my cock, and my cum ran out of his anus, as did something else. Blood. To my great surprise and shame, we had ripped his skin with our efforts, and he was bleeding inside. As I noticed this Simba let go, and as he did, Tufty passed out. Simba very quickly pulled out his cock, but not before delivering his semen, and I lowered him down on to the ground. As we lay him down, a trail of red liquid ran from his vagina, and onto the ground.

Draco looked at this.

"Hey guys, I don't think we should do that again."he suggested. Simba felt uncomfortable, as did I.The glower sounded unemotional when he spoke.

"So what operation did they perform on you?"

"We don't know, we were unconscious at the time. We woke up, and saw each other like this." Draco changed into his bionic form as he said this. The glower appeared to look at each of us in a hard way, and then shrugged.

"Well, it may have some bonuses."

The glower asked us a few more questions, and then floated away. Draco went over to Tufty, and snapped a canister of smelling salts under his nose. Tufty awoke, and looked at the bionic Draco. He scooted back in terror.I knelt down.

"Sorry, Tufty."

He managed a faint grin.

"Actually, that was nearly the most intense orgasm I've felt."

"Maybe, but we've drawn blood doing so." I thrust two fingers into his unresisting vagina, and then removed them. They had blood on them. Tufty looked at Simba.

"I enjoyed that, except it hurt. Please don't do it again."

Tufty asked us to leave, which we did, and we shut the door behind him.

"Well,what now?"

"First one to the food store? I can't wait to show Silverine. This time, I'll let him rape me, and he won't tear me to shreds."

"You mean you enjoyed his treatment of you?"

"The sex, yes. The tearing, no.I've got a plan on showing them. Me and Draco change into our normal selves, Simba, go as a Cobra. Draco, follow my lead."

Draco was grinning.

We followed the slow moving helicopter down the passages. Tufty was following on the basis it was going to get interesting. After ten minutes, Simba hovered to a halt outside the door of the food store. I was still not familiar with the place, but I opened the door, dodging the rotors of the bionic creature, and then ducked.

Everyone turned as the door opened, the noise of the Cobra echoing down the corridors. They saw me get down, as the Cobra twisted 90 degrees to get through the door, and hummed at a height of two metres. I followed it to a table, and it lowered itself gently down, cutting the engine powering the rotors, until blessed silence filled the room.Everyone was looking at us, which was a good start. Draco sat down beside me, opposite side of the copter, and Tufty sat down beside him. Silverine and Devlin were there, and they came over. Dev sat down beside me, and Silverine stood behind me. Val also shifted over, and then Dev spoke.
