"Orion, I'm going to pay Stark's clan leader a visit. Is there any reasoning I can use to convince you to stay here?" Lilith wondered. "No, the longer I wait the more time he has to take them away from me." I said grabbing some gear. "Orion, think this through, Stark is ready for you this time. Know this he's going to kill the first chance he gets." Renka pointed out. "Renka, I'd expect no less of him." I remarked.

"Daughter, go with him, back him up if, Stark decides to play dirty. Which I'm sure knowing him he's going to the second the fight begins. I'm going to speak with Debora and we should be at the battle field momentarily." Lilith informed teleporting away. "Lets, go Orion I can teleport us right to him, just hold tight, okay." Renka said holding out her arm. Taking a couple of steps towards her, grabbing her arm and in a flash we vanished.

When we exited the shift, we stood on the outskirts of a old wheat field. Renka, knelt down and tried to catch her breath, I guessed using that spell must be draining. "You going be okay, Renka looks like you used quite a bit of energy." I said kneeling down beside her. "I'll be alright just give me a second to catch my breath. Don't go on by yourself the odds are he's not alone." She pointed out standing up.

"No, Renka take a look around and you'll sense just three energy signatures. Even if there were others hidden you'd be able to sense faint signals in the area." I informed getting up and scanning the area. "Impressive, perhaps marrying you isn't such a bad thing after all." She replied smiling. Chuckling a little, I starting walking towards the field, getting my mind, body and spirit ready for the fight.

After a good twenty minutes of walking sure enough Stark, Arreincia and Kyuri were waiting. Both women were tied up and barely wearing any clothes, save for their undergarments. This enraged me but, I kept my composure the entire time. "Ah, it's about time you showed up and with my third wife. Now, Renka get over here and we'll be on our way, after I rid the world of the freak." Stark said bluntly.

"The only way they're leaving with you is after you beat me. This time no holding back, you're not going to get away with harming these women. Taking Kyuri and Arreincia was a big mistake now..., let's settle this like men." I stated forcing my anger back down. Stark could tell he struck a nerve and it made him smile. Before I knew it he moved, creating an after image of himself.

I didn't react right away, since I was very familiar with this particular maneuver. Taking a deep breath, then arching back and finally driving my fist straight into the ground. The sheer impact caused the ground to shake violently and dust shot out all around me. Now I knew where all three women were so, I didn't have to worry about them. A shadow moved over to my right then on a reflex swinging my left leg out.

With a bone shattering crack, I connected directly against Stark's flank. Sending him into rolling hard into the dirt, kicking up a lot of dust. After the dust settled he was clutching his side in agony, as I stood there watching carefully. Sure enough he slowly got back to his feet still holding his side. Though as he gazed upon me his eyes were full of rage and disgust after my attack landed.

Once he recovered from my attack, not wasting another second I rushed in. Before he could get a chance to defend, I landed a heavy blow to his breastbone. As I looked up he barely manage to block my attack but, little did he know. I wasn't aiming to make actual bodily contact I just wanted to get close. Taking my left hand, placing right on his abdomen where a body's Chi is stored.

Stark's knee flashed forward, causing me to jump back before he could connect. "I don't think so freak there's no way your cutting off my, Chi." Stark remarked breathing heavily. "Well, there actually some fight in you after all." I said calmly. That only seemed to anger him further, so he clutched his hands tightly. Causing a few drops of blood to fall to the ground, then they began to glow.

I could sense his energy beginning to swell and concentrate into orbs of light. It felt like a fire spell at first until, it crackled like heavy static discharge. That told me I would need to be ready for, what he was about to throw at me. Redirecting lightning spells are tricky, since one wrong move could wind up killing you. Luckily my mother showed me several different methods of defending against them.

Stark's arms shot out to the sides just as the energy was reaching its peek. With a resounding clap of the hands, a bolt of raw lightning surged across the air. Centering myself firmly on the ground with both hands, I brought them together. Just as the bolt reached me and in a reverse fashion, I caught the bolt. In one swift motion I slicing my hands down and apart, causing the bolt to deflect then strike the ground.

The air crackled and sparked as the raw energy dissolved harmlessly into the dirt. This cause quite a bit of dust to be kicked up creating a perfect cover. For my next attack, performing the after image technique, then I rushed invisibly around him. Getting behind him before he, became aware that it was merely a diversion. Reaching out grabbing two of his five tails then with all my strength.

I turned around, heaved him up over my shoulder, and launching him like a rag doll into the air. As he cursed at me, I launched myself into the air in pursuit. Flying past him in midair just as, he turned around in midair, my right foot buried itself into his stomach. Literally knocking the wind right out of his lungs and launching him backwards. He landed hard onto the ground creating a small impact crater.

After landing back down safely on the ground, and wasting no time I rushed towards him. Just as he walked out from the crater, as he looked up I was right there. With one fluid motion I spun around and back handed him right on the snout. The resounding crack sent him flailing back onto the ground. When I looked for him, he vanished from my sight so, I went to work sensing for his energy signature.

From out of nowhere he reappears behind me and pain quickly surged through me. Causing my body to lock up like a stone as, I hit the ground he reared back. Clutching a fireball in his free hand, the bloodlust in his eyes told me this was the end. Reaching down deep into my very being, I unlocked some sort of hidden power. In a big burst of energy, I let the power loose in a bright flash of blue light.

Sending everything and everyone flying like leaves in the wind. When things settled down, all I could see was darkness and hear silence surrounding me. Several days/hours went by since the battle with Stark, before I became self aware. By the time I actually came to, I felt like I was back at the shrine. Sitting up slowly but, sure enough the shock wore off and pain surged throughout my body.

After gritting my teeth for a few minutes, the pain eventually subsided allowing me to move. I carefully got to my feet, walked into the nearby washroom. Closing the sliding door behind me I began to remove my clothes. While turning on the shower, I took a moment to look at myself in the mirror. My body was covered in scars and bruises from the recent battle with Stark.

Once the water was up to temp, I opened the door and stepped inside. The warm water soaked into my still aching body soothing it slowly and evenly. As I began to relax under the warm water, the bathroom door opened and someone came in. "I'm glad to see you're up and about, Orion you had us all worried." A motherly voice said. "Lilith, is that you? Where am I?, Are Kyuri, Arreincia and Renka alright?" I asked.

"Yes it's me, the girls are safe, and I brought everyone back to my home. So my healers could attend to any and all of your injuries. As for Stark you needn't worry about him anymore. Debora his clan leader is dealing out his punishment as we speak. Though before we got there and from what I can gather you won. Not without taking some heavy damage yourself. Of course he tried to end you just as we arrived. Considering you somehow were unconscious." Lilith informed sitting down.

I slowly played back everything that had occurred a while ago in my head. "The last thing I can remember was unleashing some sort of power. After that everything just went black that's about it, Lilith." I replied. "I see well the fact of the matter is you beat him and saved the girls. Take your time in here okay and we'll see you shortly." She said before leaving the washroom.

I took a good forty minutes cleaning up, re-bandaged my wounds, before throwing on some clothes. Once dressed I left the room, walked down the hall and had no clue where I was going. Until a servant saw me trying to find my way around. She was nice enough to escort me to where everyone was lounging around. When I stepped into the room within seconds, I was wrapped up by three happy female kitsune.

Kyuri, was the first to place her muzzle against my neck crooning softly. "It's good to see you up and walking around human, no my husband." Renka replied nudging my cheek with her nose. "Orion is it?, thank you once again for coming to my rescue." Arreincia said with a bright smile. "Your welcome, mind if sit down and get something in my stomach. I feel like I'm going to die of hunger." I pointed out.

The girls kindly let me go while, Lilith stood up and approached me a moment later. "Take my seat in my chair, Orion." She said shocking Renka. "Thank you but, no I'm going sit right here if that's, okay." I said taking the nearest seat. Catching her and everyone else completely off guard, when I sat down at the table. Lilith couldn't help but, laugh as the girls stood there figuring out what just happened.

"As you wish Orion. Just so you know when a Kyubi or clan leader offers you a place at the head of the table, it's considered a high honor." Lilith pointed out. "Yes, I know but, if it's all the same to you I'd rather be treated fairly then get special treatment." I said fixing myself some food. "I can certainly respect that, Orion. So shall we discuss future wedding plans instead my future son-in-law?" She remarked as I spun around in my chair.
