CHAPTER 8

Sonic and Shadow were at their room since 4 hours, they were bored and heated. "Alright, I'll sleep, wake me up when's ¨tomorrow¨", sonic voices over to his brother and settles into his bed. Shadow only nods in sign of answer to his brother, after that he looks over to the time, 5:34PM, he had a lot of time to think how to escape from there. Suddenly Sofia gets in, puts two vessels with orange juice on the table and then leaves again; shadow raised an eyebrow, but smiled anyway. After two minutes, shadow drinks his whole juice; he was heated, transpiring and tired, but he couldn't fall asleep. At 7:00PM sonic woke up yawning, he noticed it wasn't ¨tomorrow¨ yet, so he gets up grumpy and mad. The good thing was that he felt cold somehow now, but when he turns to see shadow, he starts to blush and to feel heated again. Shadow had his eyes closed and was sexy lying there, his shirt was on floor and his trousers were broken; the black hedgehog was blushing, transpiring like crazy and panting searching for air. Not to exaggerate, but, was he doing something else to kill the time? Sonic couldn't stop staring at him and to do it funnier, he even didn't notice he was drooling. Shadow after a minute opens his eyes again and sees sonic being with a face like ¨omg! I'm having an orgasm being virgin!¨, alright....? "Uhm, Sonic?", shadow asked him waving his hand in front of his face, sonic then came to himself again and with a gasp-scream falls down from the bed. "I'm ok!", he says standing up and acting as nothing happened. "It's not yet ¨tomorrow¨, why are you awake?", shadow enquiries, sonic answered saying he had only a weird dream, LIAR; somehow he noticed what shadow was doing while he was asleep. The black hedgehog only giggled, stands up and gives sonic his orange-juice, sonic smiles as gratitude and drinks everything in a single gulp.

After ten minutes, sonic decided to play Wii and to die being heated, shadow only laughed at that commentary and sits down to watch the show. "Alright I have crash bandicoot and the Olympic games for 2010, not to mention that we gone to win, which should I play?", sonic asks to his brother showing his games, he had over two-thousand, but his favorites were only 37. "Olympic Games, let's see if it's true what you say", shadow answers, while sonic smirks putting the game. After loading the game, sonic chooses his country: "Alright I'm USA, you are?", he says and asks his brother behind him, shadow raises an eyebrow: "Uhm, USA?", and jokes. Sonic laughs sarcastic to his brother and then turns again to the TV. Suddenly after two minutes the TV gets mysteriously off, sonic and shadow stay shocked. "Wtf..?", sonic asks himself, while shadow looks at the TV like it could be a ghost; but the answer was there knocking on the door: "You two are punished, no Nintendo Wii till tomorrow and I don't care if you're bored", Sofia told them hard and serious, then closes the door again and leaves. Sonic and shadow were looking at themselves with a ¨oh man¨-face, but somehow shadow was really happy being punished, why that? "Amazing, I wanted to die playing, now I'll die bored!", sonic cries joking making shadow laugh, being there in their room really felt like eternity. "Shadow fan me!", sonic ordered to shadow giving him his cushion, the black hedgehog obeys and starts to fan his brother, like a tornado. Alright, shadow was really strong, sonic almost fell down from his bed again: "Not so much!!!", he yelled. Shadow was laughing fanning his brother and trying to hit him with the cushion, while sonic tried to protect himself with his arms laughing too. After a while, sonic and shadow started to talk about their hobbies: "Running, soccer and basketball since I'm two years old", says sonic smiling, "target shooting, skating (shopping XD)", answers shadow. "Did I say running already?", sonic says joking while shadow raises an eyebrow giggling: "swimming", he continues. Sonic stays amazed and nervous: "oh, really?", were his only words, sonic couldn't swim and his only excuse was to say that ¨water hates me¨. Shadow nodded as answer for Sonics doubt, but doesn't notice his worried face. "I have to confess, I don't float that much", sonic says smiling, shadow can't resist raising an eyebrow: "do you mean, you don't float at all?", he says. Sonic after hearing it stands up and yells: "Hey it's hard to confess that, don't laugh at me!", shadow drops his ears because of that cry, maybe he offended his brother, so tries to fix the situation: "I wasn't laughing at you, I wanted to be sure, I can teach you", the black hedgehog mentions. Sonic calms down and blushes about shadows commentary, so he smiles happy and nods to his brother.

It was 9:56PM, after talking so much with that heat, sonic and shadow got tired and fell asleep. Sofia panicked with so much silence, so she went upstairs and looked inside the room seeing sonic and shadow sleeping like angels. She couldn't resist smiling, so she closes the door and leaves them sleep, till tomorrow. After some hours was it 2:00AM and shadow was awake; he didn't know how to escape and somehow he didn't want to, he was tired and happy in his room with his brother, he didn't want to ruin his day prostituting himself. Finally he decided to stay at least one day without work, but he had to do something anyway: call Snake. His cell phone was in the kitchen, he left it there cooking with his mother; shadow needed the number, so slowly gets up from his bed and opens the door. He opened it a little too fast, sonic almost woke up, but only settled himself better into the bed. Shadow sighs and goes slowly downstairs, leaves better that door open, but it was a bad idea. Sofia stood up to go to the bathroom and sees her son's door open, bad sign, after seeing the door she decided to go downstairs too. Shadow was in the kitchen already looking for his cell phone; somehow he couldn't see anything in the darkness, but suddenly the light gets on, so shadow turns around and sees Sofia on the door with the cell phone in the hand. "Were you looking for this?", she asked, shadow nodded shy and nervous. "You'll have it tomorrow", Sofia tells him hard and then points over to the stairs, so shadow drops his ears and goes upstairs to his room. Sofia preserves the cell phone and then goes also upstairs to the bathroom. Shadow was lying on his bed thinking about an explanation for snake, the black hedgehog had to go earlier to the bar, which was clear.

The next morning shadow woke early up, he wanted to cook the breakfast for everyone in the house. Being in the kitchen the black hedgehog advantages to look for his cell phone, it wasn't there, maybe Sofia had it. Sonic was in his room sleeping when he smells that amazing smelling he loves: "Chilidogs?", he asks himself waking slowly up; the blue hedgehog yawns and being awake, smiles happy and runs downstairs. There were his parents and shadow already sitting on the table, sonic smiles and sits down too; he noticed his parents weren't mad anymore. "Amazing", sonic said tasting his chilidog with his mouth full, making Sofia and shadow see in disgust. "Sonic... cult", his father whispered him behind his typical newspaper, noticing those others faces next to him; sonic smiles in shame and covers his mouth. Shadow calms down and starts to talk: "Uhm, I need to ask you something", he says looking at Sofia "after the breakfast, I need to visit a friend, can I?", he continues. Sonic looks at him sad eating, but Sofia only smiles at shadow and hugs him: "Why are you like that? Don't be so shy! You can, but you have to return as early as possible home ok?", she says him; while shadow nods her smiling and blushing. Sofia then gives him his cell phone back and leaves him stand up from the table; sonic was feeling doubtful, he apologizes but he needed to ask shadow where he really was going to go. "Shadow, why?", he asks him being both in their room, shadow sighs and turns around to see sonic: "I have to go to work, I didn't go yesterday", the black hedgehog answers. Sonic looks at him confuse: "but you said you didn't have to work this week", he told him, shadow looks down and thinks about what to say, then looks up again: "I was wrong", the only thing he says. Shadow smiles at his brother sadly, then he leaves him alone in the room and goes downstairs.

The blue hedgehog couldn't resist biting his lip of curiosity from shadows job, he needed to know where he worked. Finally, sonic decided to follow his brother, so runs with his typical speed outside and waits for shadow to appear. Sonic was hidden behind a bush trying to see, it was raining and the sky was too cloudy. When shadow appeared, the black hedgehog started to walk in a familiar street, that street led to the orphanage! But sonic noticed that shadow didn't want to go there, he was taking another way, so, detective-hedgehog started to follow. After two minutes, sonic couldn't recognize nothing in the street shadow was taking him, he never had been there; everything was so dark, except for big colored signs in every corner. After two seconds, shadow reached his target, he went inside a bar; sonic comes out to the street and stays shocked, pale and nauseated. He was staring at the sign of the bar in which shadow went; it was big, colored, bright and flashing. Was that sign real, or effect of his fantasies? ¨GAY-BAR-OPEN¨ stayed there: "w-what...?", the only thing that came out of Sonics voice reading it.
