Day 19: Karma, Fun to watch, not to go through
#14 of Project: perfection
I was in bed last night with Chris and sex was the last thing on my mind. He rubbed my belly and just asked what it was like for me while he was hypnotized. Then we just talked about any subject that popped into our heads. The economy, politics, music, art, books, work, and random little questions that came up. It was just pillow talk, but it was soothing and left me just as bouncy and light as if we had done more.
Kross came by this morning and apologized and offered to unlock my PDA. I took him up and he unlocked my PDA so that I can do what I could before, as well as see all those files... I don't know whether to be very pissed or very horny. I do know that Necross will be in the dog house for a while because of the files I had shown his girlfrie- boyf- Mate... Shadow Duskpaw. When sh- he found out that Necross had hypnotized Chris into a two day strip party. I laughed my ass off after I watched a burly 7'6" dragon master of hypnosis and battle who is an executive look scared and nervous against a 5'10" femboi wolf, and boy did sh-.... he tore into Necross like there was no tomorrow. Oh, when Necross tried to explain his way out it was just pure comedy in motion. Serves him right....he went way too far... it really hurt... Chris keeps apologizing even though I keep telling him it isn't his fault. I wish we were back out in the woods just the two of us.
Kross Finished building the mana broadcaster and it seems very promising. It can spread mana out through the walls and into cabinets, every nook and cranny, and with the ceilings and floors being made of a mana blocking material, we don't have to worry about the signal going outside of the level. I'm still having a hard time trying to find a good blend. I can't find a way to buffer the trauma enough to stop irreparable damage from happening. Kross has been writing in a few notebooks, One for story ideas and the other is for possible ways to work the canisters and rewire the mana applicators. I wish shi knew magicka as well as shi knew technology and hardware, then shi would be truly a force to be reckoned with. Shi says shi just picked up how to make the broadcaster from a backfiring applicator, a few on-line tutorials, and a Youtube video. If Kross can learn to make this from just those things, I'd love to see what shi can do with a bunch of proper blueprints.
I watched Necross and Shadow interact after shadow cooled down. They were close. Beyond the sexual desire you could slice through with a knife, there was genuine care and love. While Shadow could change moods at the drop of a hat, he was fairly consistent. When Shadow feels ignored, he pouts and and gets slightly huffy in a cute way, when he feels threatened or thinks that Necross is threatened he gets defensive and gets ready to protect himself and his own, when he's happy he gets snuggly and even slightly flirtatious with Necross. It's strange, but still heart warming.
My parents said that a psychology degree was a waste of time. Not only do I make enough money to live comfortably for four generations, I can analyze people, and I know my way around mental manas .
Shadow came by into my office... temporary office, and explained that Necross sometimes goes too far with his pranks and that he didn't mean to hurt me like he did. Me and shadow talked about Necross and Chris, comparing notes and such. I shown him how to make shapes out of mana and he taught me how to color coordinate and acessorize. While the dude looks like a lady, Shadow knows how to dress a man well. I like Shadow, he seems like a good friend and he watches out for people. A really nice guy... girl... I really need to talk to him about that.
Huh. No one coming in and talking to me, no disasters falling on my head, nothing malfunctioning? At the risk of jinxing myself, I think this will be a problem free dicta....
