First chapter of a story I am working on finally.

The pup walked around aimlessly in the streets, unaware of the other wolves that eyes him aggressively. He had run away from his home, away from the people who treated him like shit. But the thing was... He had nowhere to go. No other family that would take him in, much less accept his choices of a partner in life. It was a sad day when one finds that their parents do not accept his sexual preference.

Regardless, he was going to put an effort into putting himself before everything. He was going to make everything right in his life. The problem was... What was the first step...

He continued to look around at the blank faces, as well as the hostile faces.. What was so bad about him that made everyone hate him so much? Was it the wolven hybrid body he had inherited? Was it the demonic heritage? What was it that made him so wrong...

He stopped for a moment, to turn his head, as he saw himself in the reflection of a glass window to an antique store. He saw what he saw everyday. His reflection. But what was it that was so hideous? There were no facial flaws, as well as nothing to hide that was ugly. So what was it?

Maybe it was because he was a hybrid.. Everyone else in this city seems to purebred.. And he's just an insignificant mutt to them. He could not help it, as a few tears shed down his face, he slowly stroked his cheek, the one that did not have tears falling. The silky fur caressed by his paw, making the smooth touch of tender love, as the fur of his paw collided with his cheekfur, causing a few crackles of electricity to merge between them.

He smiled a bit, at the sight of the electricity. The young one had always thought that made him 'Shockingly amazing'. Everytime the boy thought of that, he would chuckle and shake his head. But regardless, it was not important right now.

He saw what his eyes were.. Somewhat narrow, looking like an anime character, as the left glowed bright golden, and the right was ice blue. Both somewhat pale, yet shining with a spark. A spark that desired one thing. Well.. Two things..

A mate who could love him like no other... And be there for him.. As his protector.. And a Father who understood him.. And protected him.. No matter how bad life would get for them. But... Such fables did not exist in Silvers world... Yes.. The boys name is Silver.

A name that was given to him by his mother. The woman who supposedly said his Father had left them both. He did not believe this though.. His mother was evil, and unpredictable. So he knew it was not true. The pup was a kindred spirit, a gentle creature. He must have inherited it from his Dad. That... Or he did not want to follow in the footsteps of his mother.

As he looked more into the reflection, he saw that his body was somewhat average build. Not too muscular, but somewhat skinny in the variety. But perhaps that was because the boy was used to not eating quite that much. It made no difference.. He knew he did not look that well. His clothing was of the average poor family. A torn shirt, with worn out and beaten up jeans. And no shoes whatsoever.

It was the look of a poor boy. He did not like how others picked on him for it, but it was something he was both used to, and grateful for. The clothing he was grateful for, anyways.

Silver gently raised his paw, placing it on the window, the reflection doing the exact same thing at the same time. A few more tears shed as he looked up slightly on the window, gasping for a moment as the moon was shining in the reflection. He turned sharply, with wide eyes, muzzle agape as he stared at the beauty of the full moon. It was all he could see, all he could focus on, was the moon.

It was full, it was snow white, it was beautiful. It was something a wolf hybrid like him could not stop gazing at. He continued for the longest of moments, hugging his torso with his arms, shivering slightly, as the beauty of the moon made him unaware of the temperature of the night dropping fairly quickly.

But as he had thought, it did not matter. He was without a home. He looked back to the window, taking in the sight of his wings, the left was snow white, and looked of an angels wing, while the right was ink black, and looked that of a demons wing. All the while he looked, his tail, which resembled that of a dragon, with a sharp blade at the end, wagging slowly as it wrapped around his legs, wanting to keep warm from the harsh night weather.

A few drops of water splashed onto his headfur, as the wolf winced slightly. He was used to being hit on the head for doing something his mother did not like, but the water was so cold, and so wet, that it stung like a thousand stingers of a wasp being stricken at his brain. Silver, the hybrid pup of this night, held back the irrisistable urge to cry.

A few passerby's rolled their eyes at him and muttered that he had to grow up, which only made the hybrid boy feel even worse about himself... He reached up with a paw to idly stroke his spikey, semi-long hair, which glowed slightly silver, yet was ink black like his demonic wing. His teeth began to chatter, the freezing wind gently caressing his body, as his fur slowly swayed in the gentle breeze. But to the boy it felt like a blizzard striking at his heart.

The weather was not something he was used to, he was cold as cold can be. It was too much, he could not handle this.. But his folks told him that if he left, he was never allowed to come back. And he knew they were serious.

"You look lost, little one. Are you ok?" A tall wolf asked. Silver jumped and sharply turned around, covering his head with his arms.

"P-please don't hurt me!" the pup cried out in a cowboy-ish accent. "I done nothin' wrong.. I swear it..." The wolf sighed softly, kneeling down to wrap his arms around the childish pup.

"Silly boy.. I'm not gonna hurt you.." He whispered, holding tighter as his blackened fur glowed a bit to show the boy he was okay and not in anyway hurt. It had calmed him a bit, as he carefully wrapped his arms around the wolf.

"P-please... I.. I am lost... But I can't go back home to my Mama... She won't let me.." The wolf let go slowly as he looked at the child, smiling.

"Is Detra being mean again?" The wolf pup froze solid as he looked at the older shadow wolf with caution.

"H-how do you know..." The larger wolf pursed Silvers lips with a simple pinch of his fingers on them.

"Because she was once my wife..." Silvers eyes widened as he slowly drifted unconscious, fainting from the shock of what he had just heard.

"S-silver? Son??" Was all that the boy could hear as he fell completely asleep.
