CHAPTER 3

Next day in Sonics house, it was 3pm and both teen hedgehogs were still asleep; maybe sonic wasn't kidding about ¨sleeping till 3pm¨, but knowing how hard the school is, and which trauma shadow received, Sofia and his husband left them sleep. After some minutes, sonic woke up first and yawned a lot; but luckily he slept very well, knowing that shadow was now at home with him. Sonic got up of his bed; he washed himself and went downstairs to the living room, where the black hedgehog was sleeping. He walked silently to him, and there he was, sleeping like an angel; sonic blushed a lot seeing him like that. "Maybe my parents adopt you shadow, then you'll be the brother I always wanted", sonic whispered smiling. Suddenly Sonics handy started to ring, with a ¨shit¨-face sonic ran outside to not wake shadow up. "Hello?", sonic asked, "hey sonic it's me, want to go to the disco tonight?", knuckles enquiries on the phone. "Oh man knuckles, I can't I've got stuff to do", sonic spoke with a typical worried face; "stuff to do on vacations? What are you? A nerd?", knuckles voiced angry. Sonic stayed serious, he didn't have to do things, he only wanted to be with shadow. "No I'm not, knuckles better luck next time, I can't today, so long!", sonic said and cuts the phone. The blue hedgehog sat down on the grass and started to think, he really never felt this way, he always wanted a brother, but in shadow he saw something else; like a friend since children, the biggest trusted friend and a beautiful 16-year-old hedgehog. "What the hell is wrong with me? I'm thinking like a faggot!", sonic shots being homophobic, hating gays since he's 9 years old. "Waaaagh, I need a shower..", the blue hedgehog mentioned and returned to his house.

A few steps in front of the door, before sonic could open it, someone else did it first and it was shadow. Sonic smiled blushing: "Hey shadow, did you sleep well?", he asked, "Yeah, thanks sonic..", shadow answered, "You want to go anywhere?", sonic enquiries looking serious at the black hedgehog. Shadow stayed with his ruby-eyes wide open, didn't know what to answer; every Thursday ¨blacky¨ and his prostitute-friends walked on the streets looking for customs. "Well, uh.. I wanted to walk for a little bit", shadow lied, "Just tell it brother, we can walk together, just let me take a shower", sonic smiled and ran to the bathroom. CUECK, shadow couldn't even say no, this time he can't run away, he got to wait for sonic; so he sighed and entered the house again. Inside the mansion, shadow sat on the couch waiting for sonic, while Sofia went downstairs. "Good morning honey, slept well on the couch?", the hedgehog mother asked, kissing the black hedgehogs forehead. Shadow was blushing like a little child, so he just nodded slowly and shy. "READY!! Let's go shadow, oh hey mom!", the blue hedgehog shots coming downstairs, "where do you both gone to go?", Sofia asks strong. "Uhm.. Walking?", sonic says smiling looking at shadow, he only nods. "Alright, go to a restaurant and eat lunch you sleepy heads", Sofia spoke giving them money, sonic makes a military-sign with his hand and takes shadow from his hand, the black hedgehog turns the head around and with a cute smile he says her "thank you".

Walking on the street, both hedgehogs were talking about stupidities they did on his past lives, shadow was amazing in doing traps, smoke bombs and bullets, but he obviously didn't tell sonic. "Look, there's McDonald, let's eat, I'm really hungry", sonic said taking shadow from his arm, again, running with him to the McDonald, in a typical fast-sonic-second. Arriving in front of the door, shadow felt a little dizzy because of the speed, but he calmed himself down, opened the door and with sonic he entered the famous restaurant. "What do you want to eat?", sonic enquiries looking at shadow, who stared at the card looking for something. "Mc-Flurry would be great", shadow answers smiling; that made sonic blush again, but the blue hedgehog had anyway a serious face: "You have to eat lunch first, then the dessert", he said. "Uh, alright.. a cheese-burger then", shadow answers a little shy looking down. "For him a cheese-burger and for me a Big-Mac-menu", sonic spoke decided, while shadow looks with a ¨wtf¨-face. After a while, sonic takes the order to a table in which shadow was already sitting. "Alright bon appétit", sonic said smiling and started to eat like a maniac, shadow just nodded and started to eat educated his lunch (just like a girl). Sonic noticed that chewing his hamburger, and also noticed that shadow was sitting direct on the chair (just like a girl). "Wh-aym youm simming lime that?", sonic talked with his mouth full; so obviously shadow didn't get a word. The blue hedgehog swallows his food and starts to talk again: "Why are you sitting like that?". Shadow blushing noticed how he was sitting on the chair, so in despair he gets up from it and hides his mouth with a serviette (just like a.. ok you get the picture). "Uhhh, I-I just, I had back pain, and being direct helps to stop it", shadow lied, since he's a prostitute he has to act like a girl, and obviously he's accustomed now. Sonic raised an eyebrow, but shrugs anyway and continues eating; Shadow sighed thinking a way to stop that habit, but it's difficult if you started that being 7 years old. After some time, sonic finished with his whole big menu and shadow was still eating the little cheese-burger. "While you're eating, still that baby burger, I go to buy our Mc-Flurries", sonic spoke getting up and running to the cashier. The black hedgehog raised an eyebrow and looked to his lunch "baby burger?", he repeated what sonic says, in a sarcastic form.

After sometime, both hedgehogs leave the restaurant and start walking at the street eating their glasses; sonic ate like a caveman and shadow really educated. After few steps, sonic noticed the bench in where he sat waiting for the black hedgehog, so both sat down. "MH! I'm lovin' it!!!", sonic sings making shadow laugh cute, taking a hand in front of his mouth (like a girl...). "So, what do you want to do today?", sonic asked his ¨brother¨, "I don't know", he answered, licking the spoon of his ice cream. Sonic seeing that: blushed like crazy, had his emerald-eyes wide open, wanting to have an orgasm right now and his brain was about to explode. To make things worse, shadow started to lick his fingers full of ice-cream, sonic couldn't do anything else then, faint. Shadow noticed that and started to scream like a girl "S-sonic wake up! Are you ok? Sonic!", he voiced him in despair and shake him a lot of times. The black hedgehog mixed his ice-cream and turned it to water-ice-cream, so he throws that on Sonics face; who wakes up coughing like crazy. "AAAH I'M AWAKE!!!", he yells and accidentally rests of the ice-cream fly to shadows face; leaving him full of white-water. Sonic noticing that just cursed his bad luck; while shadow had his eyes closed trying to clean his face. "I'm sorry shadow, are you ok?", the blue hedgehog asked, "I-I'm fine, but y-you sonic, are you ok? You fainted!", he mentioned worried with a special voice. Sonic couldn't resist to smile and to touch shadows cheek, "I'm fine brother, don't worry about me", he whispered and took shadows hand to get with him up. "I think I owe you another Mc-Flurry tomorrow, let's go home", sonic spoke decided, "No, its ok sonic, I don't want another", shadow voiced smiling and started to walk in direction to Sonics mansion, like a top-model. Sonic obviously noticed that, his nose was about to drain off.

Being at home, sonic sympathetic greets his parent, shadow only waves them shy. Sofia noticed that and takes few steps to him: "honey don't be so shy, you're now part of the family", she said smiling, "what are you talking about mom?", sonic enquiries getting into the conversation. "Yes we did paperwork with the police, and shadow is now part of the family", Sofia says happy hugging his husband. Shadow couldn't believe it, after 16 years; finally he has a family, and a great big brother. "Shadow we're officially brothers! HaHa!!", sonic shots really happy like never before and hugs his brother with tearful eyes. Shadow was crying in happiness, so he correspond Sonics embrace. Both teen hedgehogs went to their parents and started to hug them too, nobody couldn't resist crying for happiness. After a while celebrating, shadow's part of the family, both teeny hedgehogs went to Sonics room; wait, it's changed! Now it has two beds, which made sonic and shadow hug from happiness again; so the black hedgehog jumped into his bed and sonic did the same into his bed. "Shadow I'm so happy, I always wanted a brother.. Oh god, tomorrow we gone to go with my friends walking and telling them the news ok? You will then met them, they're really good vibes so all will be friends!", sonic lets out and lets himself fall on the bed. Shadow just heard his brother silently and smiling, knowing more friends is a great idea.. But how will he escape tonight to go to work?
