Okay, welcome back to "A New Start As A Trainer"......with ME: Aquos. I am here with Lucas, Lucario, Emily, and Flygon from the story written by me.......and we are here---

LUCAS: To introduce the next chapter....right?

AQUOS: Yes, but I was going to say that.

LUCARIO: Well, Lucas beat you to the punch.

LEXI: Hey, can we get on with the story?

FLYGON: Yes, PLEASE! Here, I'll start it off with the warning *clears throat*.........

CAUTION: I/Aquos do not hold or own any rights to the characters and/or Pokémon listed, only my main character. Also, this story may contain yaoi, male-male relationships, and sex scenes. If you're old enough (physically and mentally) to be mature about it, read to your heart's content; if not, DON'T.

(Lucas's POV)

It took about 5 minutes for us to reach the cycling road....and let me tell yah, it ain't so small like it is in the video game: by the looks of it, it must be AT LEAST 1 mile wide and 5 miles long! We all stopped in front the pathway.....and my mouth just dropped open.

"Oh GOD........that is ONE long path." I said gulping......and it didn't help when I saw so many cyclists on the path: battlers.

"I know....even I'M impressed, how are WE going to get through this?" asked Lexi, looking over to me.

"Simple: take them out 1-by-1...and if it's a Double Battle, we'll call over someone. All we have to do is work together and fast....but not sloppy." I said trying to sound confident though I wasn't so sure myself....and I made up the plan.

"Well, if you say so Bub.....you ready Flygon?"

"Yeah, ready as I'll EVER be!" the green Pokémon said confidently. I looked over to Lucario.

"You ready babe?" I asked.

"You bet Lu!" he said, jumping down and getting to my side. The minute we had our Pokémon ready, we headed off.

.........*half an hour later*.........

"Now, finish off with Force Palm!" I said. Lucario ran for the cyclist's Magnamite, some light coming from his paw and then releasing in a flash. The Magnet Pokémon spun like a top then fell to the ground, the one eye it had went swirly: KO-ed.

"Aw, man!" exclaimed the male trainer I was facing, returning his Pokémon and riding over to me "Great job, you beat me fair and square. Here," he said handing me my reward: 450 poke "Thanks for the battle."

"Thank YOU too." I said as he rode off; Lucario came over to me and leaned onto me.

"Lucas, I don't know how many more battles I can take: we've been through like 5 consecutive fights." He said panting; he was right: I've put Lucario through a whole lot of battles once we started down the path; I saw Lexi fighting quite a few battles as well, but probably not as many as me.

"I know...but hang in there okay?" I said, hugging him; he leaned into it and purred slightly, telling me he was glad to get a little break from all the battles.

"I'm sorry you have to fight all of these yourself, I'd use Gallade or Monferno if I could.....but they're with Shane." I said, hugging him closer: I felt bad I was making him fight so much, he needed to rest.

"It's fine, I'm used to battling.....and I don't want to let you down by losing so I'm pushing myself so I'd win." Lucario said, pulling away and giving me a brave face.

"Well, take it easy too: I don't want you to overexert yourself." I said, looking worried; he nodded and I smiled.

"Thank you."

(Lexi's POV)

"Flygon, Dragon Breath!" I called; the green dragon breathed out a blue-purple wave out of his mouth and it hit the Magneton and the Magnet Pokémon fell to the ground, KO-ed. The guy rider came over and handed me some Poke (which was much more "unique" then I imagined before) and rode away: my 4th consecutive win. Flygon flew over and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Lexi, how much farther until we are out of here? I can't keep up with the non-stop battles." He said; it was true: I saw the tiredness in his eyes.

"I don't know, but Lucas should: we need to find him." I said, riding off to find him: we saw him right when he just won another battle. He took the reward and both he and Lucario came over to us.

"How're you guys doin'?" he asked us.

"Running on empty." Flygon said and Lucario nodded. Lucas sighed, obviously upset.

"Damn, how long IS this thing?" Lucas cursed and I glared at him: I don't like him cussing.

"I think that we're almost through: I saw a few trainers on bikes over there." Lucario said, pointing to a small group of bikers; we rode over there with Flygon flying and Lucario on his back. We got closer and saw that the reason why all those trainers were crowded around that area was because it was blocked off by these twin cyclists: they both had the same bike, outfit, and hair.....though one wore it short and one let it hang down.

"So, who would like to try-" began the male twin.

"To pass us?" said the female one; for some ODD reason I felt a sense of irritation and anger towards the girl biker.

"Hey, sis...you okay?" asked Lucas and I was snapped back to normal.

"Huh? Oh...y-yeah, I'm fine. Just seeing that girl......makes me so MAD for some reason." I said, my fist balling up around the handles.

(Lucas' POV)

"Really? The same for me and the dude." I said, my anger coming up but was cut off by Lucario.

"I can sense it too: his aura is so.......bitter, I can literally taste it in my mouth." Lucario said spitting out to the side of Flygon.

"Well, if we want to get OUT of here then we need to beat them: you guys ready for one more battle?" I asked Flygon and Lucario. They both nodded and I looked to Emily. She nodded as well, smiling.

"Alright, let's go." I said and rode fast through the crowded and skidded to a stop in the middle of the group of trainers; Lexi followed slowly behind and Flygon close behind; Lucario jumped down to walk next to me.

"Well, don't we have some brave-"

"Or foolish trainers." Said the twins sound so confident and cocky.

"You're the foolish ones: now, let us and these trainers pass or else!" I threatened. The twins cackled and it sounded weird and creepy.

"Well I'll be: a little pest here is trying to make us let these PATHETIC trainers leave." Scoffed the girl and my sister grunted in anger.

"I SUPPOSE we could let them pass....if you're strong enough to beat us," Said the guy "Not like that'll happen since you're Pokémon look so weak and pathetic." That REALLY put me over the top with anger: calling Lucario weak was something I couldn't stand.

I was about to get off my bike and just HIT him but Lucario got in front of me and kept me from doing so.

"Lu, don't: he's just trying to psych you out, make you mad. We can beat them." He said, trying to calm me down; it worked little by little until I was relaxed enough to talk.

"Alright: we win, you never try to block the Cycling Road path again; we lose....and..." I stuttered, trying to think of a bargain before one of the twins spoke out.

"We ban others from using the Cycling Road ever again."

"What?" murmured some other cyclists as I looked around; I sighed and nodded: I couldn't change the terms of the agreement....so I had to come through with it and win.

"Okay, deal. Now, let's battle!"

(Normal POV)

The four trainers got at the right distance as they got ready: Lucario and Flygon were already out and in position, leaving the twins to summon out their Pokémon.

"I'm Lucas and this is Lexi," Lucas said as the twins brought out their balls.

"I'm Mark and this is Mary." The male said grinning.

"Remember our names, because those will be the names that belong to the-" started Mary.

"OKAY, we get it! Now come on, let's battle already!" Lexi called out impatiently: normally Lucas didn't like it when she interrupts someone, but here he didn't mind ONE bit.

"Alright, then let's go: Magnezone!" Mark called, threw out this weird looking metal-like Pokémon: it had the look of a UFO.....though it's kinda hard to describe it really.

"You too, Metang!" called Mary, sending out the Pokémon; it had a green-bronze color and it just floated, arms and claws coming from its saucer-like body.

"Okay, let's see: Metang is Steel and Psychic, meaning Lucario would do well against it in moves....but would have to be careful; Magnezone is Electric and Steel so I'd have a better chance of going against IT then Metang." Lucas said to himself before looking over to Emily.

"Lex, take out that Metang: Magnezone is mine."

"Got'cha!" she said, giving a thumbs-up "Flygon, Dragon Claw on Metang!" Flygon flew up a little and charged at the Metang.

"Metang, meet it with Metal Claw!" called Mary; the Metang flew forward and met Flygon with its own arm from Metal Claw.

"Lucario, Force Palm on Magnezone!" Lucas ordered and Lucario obeyed, running at top speed towards the Magnet Area Pokémon; Mark saw this and reacted quickly.

"Quick, use Magnet Rise!" he said as Magnezone spun around quickly and sparks came out and soon Lucas and Lexi felt a little weightless.....but Lucario was a different story: he lost his momentum as he was quickly in the air and hovering.

Lucas grunted, seeing how that was their strategy all along: they leave their foes trapped in the air so they can attack them freely since their Pokémon levitate.....but the gang still had Flygon, and Lucario could attack from afar with Aura Sphere.

"Lucario, use Aura Sphere instead of Force Palm!" Lucas ordered and again Lucario obeyed: he built up energy in his paws, a small blue orb in between them until it was the size of a baseball...then a basketball.

"Magnezone, Thunderbolt on Lucario!" Mark commanded as the Magnezone buzzed with electricity and shot out a huge bolt that homed in on the Aura Pokémon; Lucas though that Lucario was in trouble....but things changed so quickly within the next few seconds since everything went in slow-mo: the bolt slugged its way to Lucario as he built up more energy....but before the bolt hit a tail blocked the attack.

"Flygon!" Lucas called, seeing that the Dragon and GROUND type Pokémon came to the rescue before Emily gave another command.

"Flygon, now use Dragon Breath on Metang!" The dragon, without hesitation, let out a vibrant-color breath that hit the Metang almost instantly; the Iron Claw Pokémon recoiled, then came shooting back and stopped.

"Metang, counter with Gyro Ball on Flygon!"

"What?! I thought a Metang can't learn Gyro Ball!" called Lucas, seeing this as a problem and thought of an idea.

"Lucario, use your Aura Sphere on Metang!" Lucario, this time, looked back on Lucas with a questionable look; Lucas just looked at him and nodded, saying he should do it. Lucario, without any more questions, unleashed his attack with a loud grunt as he threw it and being pushed back in the air. The AS spiraled towards and collided, the attacks fighting for power and dominance.......the AS won.

Metang was sent back flying and hit the ground, swirly-eyed.

"YES! One down, one to go!" cried Lucas, looking up to Lucario who was still floating. Without even saying it Lucario got Metal Claw ready; Flygon looked to Lexi for his next attack.

"Flygon, Dragon Claw on Magnezone!" Flygon, arm glowing like before, raced to the Magnet Area Pokémon while Lucario swam (since he can't fly XD) to the same with Metal Claw ready to use. Mark, looking over to his defeated sister for possible advice, starts to panic and think irrationally.

"Uh....uh, use Super Sonic!" the Pokémon shot out transparent rings to the Pokémon; Flygon easily flew to the side to dodge them and Lucario slashed through them and sped his way to the Pokémon.....but he was starting to lose altitude: Magnet Rise was wearing off now.

"Now Lucario!" Lucas called, seeing that Lucario was now at the advantage as he was now running on the ground towards the sitting Psyduck (Poke humor....you get it?)

Mark, now seeing imminent defeat, just sighed and decided to try and go out with a bang at least.

"Magnezone......Explosion!" Now everybody was surprised by this as Magnezone started to glow a bright yellow and soon self-destructed, Lucario and Flygon caught in the blast and thrown towards Lucas and Lexi; Magnezone falling to the ground KO-ed.

Lucario and Flygon, with some struggle, slowly got up to their feet and braced themselves as all the trainers clapped.

"YES, we did it!" cried Lexi as she rode over and gave Lucas a bear hug and then Flygon a hug just as big and tight; Lucas was able to ride over and catch his Pokémon before he fell backwards.

"Lucario, that was amazing: you really did well." Lucas said softly, hugging the Pokémon close.

"I know.......that last blast.....WHEW that was some strong shit." Lucario joked, coughing a little: he needed some rest; Flygon too because he was weakly flying so he wouldn't fall face-first into the ground. Mary came over and handed Lucas the reward they deserved: $850 each.

"You beat us, fair and square-" started Mary looking over to Mark as he moved out of the way of the path; all the trainers flew past him and out of the Cycling Road, most-likely glad to be off their bikes from seat rash.

"And we shall keep our end of the deal: we will no longer block the path, but rather be the keepers and regulate the flow of trainers instead."

(Lucas's POV)

"Thank you." I said, Lucario now standing: I saw Lexi ride through and off of the Road, getting off and rubbing her butt: typical, I feel the same way right now. I rode past the twins, but stopped and looked back.

"Hey, can you pass a message to a trainer that will most-likely come down this way?"

"I guess." Mark said, scratching his head as I thought of the message I wanted to say.

"I want you to say to the trainer that I would currently be in Hearthome by the time he gets this message and I will be waiting for the next time we meet. He owes me something that he yet knows himself: a battle, a REAL one, to the finish. Can you pass it on to him?"

"Sure, what's his name and how can we tell who it is?" Mary asked.

"He'll have Latios and Latias, a Lucario similar to mine, and a Treeko.....or Grovyle: I can't tell since the little guy looked like he would evolve soon. The trainer's name is David, David Cheng." I said, riding off and meeting up with FG and Sis.

"Ow.......ow......OW!" Lucario complained as I bandaged him up: he's been saying "ow" for the past 5 minutes ever since we got off of the Cycling Road 15 minutes ago, and I wanted to fix these guys up since we wouldn't be at a PC for a while.

"Hey, if you stayed still it wouldn't hurt as much." I told him, wrapping some gauze around his arm: he fidgeted so much that I was surprised that he didn't wake me up when we slept together.

"Well I wouldn't move so much if it didn't HURT so much!" Lucario complained more.

"That's what I'm trying to fix........and besides, you took an Explosion attack and are still standing so you can take a little pain." I argued back, pinning the gauze and taking a step back: pain, apparently, made Lucario a little grouchy.

"THANK you, that hurt a lot!" Lucario said, standing and shifting his shoulder a little to see if the fight injured him too much; he sat back down when I gave him a cold look.

"Flygon, how are YOU doing?" I asked, looking over the medical treatment I did for him: Flygon was a little more work because I wrapped up almost half his tail, arms, legs, and had to bandage up parts of his wings; with Lucario I had to do an arm, his chest, parts of his legs, the base of his tail, and his forehead.

"Still sore, but doing better. Thank you for the medical help, you're very good." Flygon thanked and I blushed; Lucario, now calmer, put his arm around me and pulled me close.

"My baby's a doctor, how handy." He said, kissing my head and I blushed more.

"No, no: I'm not THAT good, I just picked some stuff up here and there.....I'm no REAL replacement for Nurse Joy or any hospital." I said modestly; Lexi laughed out-loud to that.

"Bub, you're incredible when it comes to taking care of injuries: remember that time when I broke my arm and you made that.....that....THING you use when you want to keep from using your arm when it's been hurt."

"Yeah, I remember.....but ANYONE could have done that." I replied, knowing what she meant by "thing": a sling.

"Yeah, but there was ALSO that time when you used CPR to help out Austin when he was choking." She pointed and I shuddered: he STILL thought I did it JUST to kiss him, even when the paramedics told him that I actually saved his life.

"Okay, so maybe I am a LITTLE good: can we stay on that? I feel a little embarrassed of having the topic on me mainly." I said sheepishly.

"Alright, suit yourself." Lucario said chuckling and kissing my head again; my face went as hot as the fire we had made; as we sat back down I snuggled up to him even more. I yawned, extremely tired: each day took more energy out of me. I was just about to fall asleep until we all heard a rustling. My eyes flew open, my senses in a panic and trying to take in everything as the outside world became so fast: Lucario getting in front of me for protection and Flygon in front of Lexi as three figures came out.........one of them having a flame on its tail.

"Wait.....Monferno?" I asked, getting up and walking over to it: the thing jumped into my arms and hugged me tightly.

"LUCAS!" Monny cried happily, hugging me tight enough to choke me; Gallade and Shane came out into the open as well, both with smiles on their faces; the minute Lexi saw Monferno (AND I set him down to welcome the others) she picked him up and hugged him, probably, as tight as he hugged me.

"Monferno, you're back! I missed you!" she said, swaying him side to side.

"Hey Shane, glad you're back." I said, offering him a hand; he met it, but I pulled him into a hug.....which he hugged back almost immediately.

Gallade just stood there, looking happy to be back so after I was done hugging Shane I hugged Gallade.

"Hey Gallade, hope Monferno and Shane were easy to handle."

"Easy enough." He said as we all walked back to the fire and all sat down; I searched through my bag and pulled out some berries I had, getting some sticks and sticking a berry on each one: I thought that all of us could have roasted berry on a stick since we had a nice fire going AND since we were all back together as a family.

"Shane, what happened? Where'd you go....and how did you get back?" Emily asked, though we all already knew the answer.

"It was Team Galactic: we saw them moving some stuff from an old base in Eterna and we ran into them; they put us to sleep and kidnapped us, taking us to Veilstone City."

"How'd you escape?" I asked, knowing there would be a story coming up; Shane looked up to the sky, thinking.

"Well, it's a long story....."

"Aw, come on: tell us!" Lexi said excited. Shane chuckled, rolling his eyes.

"Alright, alright......let's see.......where should I begin?"

FINISHED! Whew, that chapter was quite hard to make; then again, ALL chapters are hard to make since we are progressing more and more of them.

Now, what will happen next? How DID Shane and the others get freed? And what about Team Galactic?

We'll know all of those answers soon.....but for now, you'll have to wait.
