Chapter 4 The Attack

Jess was running in the darkness approuching the light. She found herself standing in a lab room with dead disected animals laying on tables,blood starts to leak out from their bodies to the floor at her feet. She felt fear growing in her body as her fur rise up, running to the door and bust it down with her fists. She gasps as she sees black lab coats scientists with blood on them and eyes glowing red. She backs up in fear till black ropes appear from the floor, grabbed her neck, and starts choking her.

At the middle of the night,the black female simain wakes up with a start. She rubs her eyes then looks around in the dark room for Dane, but nowhere to be seen,"Dane?"She jumps off the bed and peek through the door for formless. As the coast was clear, her body turns invisible and runs past by formless, trying to find a way out like a rat stuck in a maze."There got to be a way outta here."She thought. She phase through the two doors and sees Dane standing infront of his master, who was sitting in his throne."Bring me the boy after you kill the hyperforce."Skeleton King looked at his simain warrior and servent."I will not fail you, master. The attack will begin tomorrow night at midnight."Dane replied, still kneeling to his master then rise up to his feet."You may leave now. I got some planning to do."His master replied."Yes, master."He walks torward out through the doors and felt someone is near him, a familar presence.

Jess covers her mouth when he swiftly turn to her direction in the hall. She watch him sniff the air then runs off, knowing he'll find out she gone. She runs though a couple hallways then found the exit, her body turn visible again,"Yes!Huh?!"She sees Dane got in front of the doors,"Jess! Wait!"He shouted. She runs faster then disappears in rainbow sparkles in front of him. She appears in the command room in the air then fell to the metal floor with a loud"Bang!","Ow. I still gotta control my teleportion powers more."She gets up and dust herself off. She runs to the computer and presses the red button, the screen turns on and shows the area of the city, no signs of formless. She lets out relieved sigh,"No formless attack. But how I'm gonna tell the team about this? I better rest for tomorrow."She walks back to Nova's room, checking on Nova head,"A little dent. No signs of cracks or blood."She went back to her hammock then went to sleep, feeling a warm familar body laying next to her. She gets up and looks around in hammock, but no sign of someone or something,"I must going crazy."She lays back down then then feeling returns, she sits up and looks around again. She doubled check then lays down, the feeling came again. She tries to ignore it and went to sleep.

Morning....

Nova wakes up with a groan, she rubs her head,"I feel like I have headache."She looks at Jess, who was sleeping peacefully then smiles. She walks to her ,and shakes her gently,"Jess. Time to wake up."Jess groans, and opens her eyes, she sits up quickly,"The city!" She jumps of , and runs to the command room. She approuch to the computer then let out a relieved breath,"The city is still safe."Is there something wrong?"Antauri's voice startled her. She turns, and sees Antauri levitating above the floor infront of her."Well-uh-I...The city is safe. Clear of no dangerous monsters."She smiles a fake smile. Antauri chuckled."What?"She asked."Jess? Are you alright?"Nova asked walking out of her tube to them."Yeah, Just checking on the city. That all."Jess replied. "You run out of my room like something bad about to happen."Nova frowned worrily.

"It must be the stress, I guess."Jess lied and shrugged,"I'm going to check on Koi."She went outside ,and fly to the lake then lands by the shore. Koi head rise to the surface then swims to his friend, looking up at her."Splash water at me!"She points at herself. The fish rises its tail ,and splashes water at her. She stands there dripping wet,"Thanks. I needed that."She shakes like a dog to dry herself."Okay. No need to panic. No need to panic. I got to think of a solution."She walks around in circles."How about seeing me for a solution?"A familar voice startled her. She turns and sees Dane leaning on a tree smiling,"Dane? What are you doing here?!"Jess, calm down."He walks to her. She backs up as he walks torward to her,"How could I calm down?! I'm fucking panicking here!"She freaked then bump against into a tree. He slams his hands against the tree between her head in anger,"I said calm down!"He snarled, watching Jess face turn into fear. He sighed,"Jess, I'm sorry I almost yelled at you. But I been wanting to tell you these three words at my master place. But you wouldn't give me the chance to tell you."He carress her cheek and looks at her with a calm comforting look,"I love you."What?"She speak in shock."I love you."He repeated then kisses her on the lips.

She feels her body went tingly ,butterflies in her stomach, and her wings flapped. She closes her eyes, wraps her arms around his neck then starts kissing him back. He wraps his arms around her waist, bringing her closer to his body. He grabs her wrists, pinning them against the tree above her head, watching her panting."Whatcha gonna do now, you bad monkey?"Jess grinned."I'm gonna taste your sweet delicious blood."He growled then licks her shoulder ,and bites it. She gasps and listens to his moaning at the taste of her blood. She let out a pleasurable moan through her throat as he starts sucking her shoulder. He licks her shoulder clean then looks at the panting female simain and put his forehead on her's,"Did I hurt you?"He asked."No,I'm alright."She smiles at him till they hear splashing.

They look at Koi splashing in the water trying to give Jess a warning."I gotta go."She tries to run off till Dane grabs her wrist."Don't go."He speak with a begging look. They hold each other in a embrace position,"Please come with me."He said. She looks at him,"I can't, Dane. I got friends I have to help, but that doesn't mean I don't want see to you."She rest her head on his chest. He hold her tighter to his body,"What if you get hurt and I couldn't protect you?" She looks up at his eyes,"Don't worry about me. Hey, can we meet here every night?"She asked. He smiles and nods,"That will work."He kiss her forehead then watch her flapping her wings to the air and let go of her hand. She gives him a air blow kiss then watch him catch the kiss and put it on his heart. She flys away back to the super robot.

Walking happily in the command room humming then fall back in Gibson chair, sighing happily , watching Chiro and Sprx playing video games. Nova and Otto looks at each other and shrugs."You look...Happy today."Gibson stands in front of her then clears his throat,"Antauri needs to talk to you."He said. Jess gets up and went to Antauri's room, she nervously knocks on his door."Come in."Antauri replied. She walks through his door and sees him meditating from the floor. She sits down on a pillow and takes a deep breath,"Did I do something wrong?"She asked."No. Your fine,Jess. What I'm really concerned about is your nightmares."He replied,"Did something happened in the past?"Well...Yes. It happened five months ago. I was floating in this giant glass ball of red liquid. Then somehow this dark man face appears in my sleep scaring me. I wanted to wake up. Then I did and escape out of the glass very angry at the scientists for torturing me and keeping me in the glass for seven months. I killed some the scientists and search for Dane, which he is my best friend. We both together try to fight and survive their experiment tests they do on us."She said."Actually, my mate now."she thought in her head.

"I was surprise he escaped at the same time. We both escaped with little injuries by some gaurds, but got seperated by some mysterious vortex. Which was created by some weird machine they invented. I don't know what their going to do with it, but it don't look good."She said then hold her tail and sighed,"I got these mysterious powers and this pendent that I got from those idiots lab coats. I use my teleportion powers traveling planet to planet, hoping to find a home. But then I started coughing black blood and my demon from my pendent lost control from not having blood. The living creatures kicked me out of their planets and I was afraid you guys would too. Somehow I gain a little control of my demon at night, but still practicing trying to restrain it from hurting people when I don't get enough blood."She said."Hmm, I see. And when did you started drawing?"He asked."Three months ago."She replied.

After they finish with their converstation, Jess did some training with the team. Then spend some girl time with Nova making fun of Sprx, play with Otto outside and draws for while in Antauri's room sitting by his side while he meditates. On the robot shoulders,she watches the sun goes down,"Better get ready."She thought and went inside. When the team went to sleep till midnight, Jess checks on the computer screen and still sees no sign of formless. Then the alarm went off when Jess sees a army of formless approuching Shuggazoom with Dane in his demonic form walking in front of them. She activate her commuicator,"Jess to monkey team! Formless approuching Shuggazoom!"At this late of night?!"Sprx complained."Wait? How do know?"Chiro asked. Jess covers her mouth,"I shouldn't have said that."She thought."I just guess what to call them."She lied. The team come down to the command room and sees formless approuching the city

"I guess Skeleton King decide to stay up late at night."Otto said."Wait. What that?!"He points at the monkey walking in front of the formless."It appears to be a...Robot monkey like us!"Gibson face turns into shock."Why are you doing this, Dane?"She whispered."Dane? Who is Dane?"Sprx asked."A friend of Jess."Antauri replied."Enough chattering! Let go beat up some formless."Nova said. "Monkeys! Mobil-Whoa!"Chiro shouted. The robot start swaying back and forth when some black whips like ropes squeezing its legs then rips the robot from its foot. Dane grins while his eyes glowing red then throw the robot, sending it tumbling down the road. The team screamed as they tumble around in the robot, Jess teleports everyone and herself out of the robot to a roof of a building,"Everyone alright?"Jess asked. Some of the team answer with a yes, we're cool and I'm okay.

Then a black rope coiled up around her and grab her away from the team as she screams."Jess!"Otto tries to stop the rope till a formless robot monkey with spinning saws got in front of him and hissed at him. He dodges the formless monkey saws then more of them appears with the same weapons as the hyperforce had."Okay, this is getting weirder."Sprx activate his magnets and gets ready to fight the monkey formless with dark magnets. Chiro went after Jess while the monkey team fights off the monkey formless. Then found her still coiled by the rope by Dane side,"You must be the boy , who lead the hyperforce."He said."Run, Chiro!"Jess shouted."Let her go!"The boy shouted."I'm afraid I can't do that."He snaps his fingers as more ropes appears wrapping around him, grabbing his wrist and ankles, and starts pullling him.

Jess hears the boy scream and watch in terror. She looks at Dane then sigh,"I'm sorry."She shift into her demon form and bites the ropes hard using her Electro Fangs attack. Dane get shocked and screams in agony, making the ropes let go of her and Chiro. She shift into black horse with firey hooves ,mane and tail with a horn and demonic wings then put unconicious Chiro on her back with her telekiness. She runs off as fast as her legs can go carrying the boy on her back."Get them!"Dane shouted. The formless chase after them on their motorcycles.

The wounded team back up to each other, surrounded by monkey formless."This is the end."Sprx spoke."What about Jess and Chiro?"Nova asked.They hear a loud whinny and sees a black horse flying shooting a powerful dark beam from her horn at the monkey formless vaporizing them. Jess lands on the roof still carrying Chiro on her back."Chiro!"Nova and Antauri runs to the horse and take him off of her back. She shift back into monkey and sees Nova trying to wake up the boy then push her out of the way,"Let me try." She takes off his gloves and sees purple rope markings on his wrists,"I knew those things would inject poison in his wrists!"How long for death?"Sprx asked."The venom will spread in minutes. I have one choice, but it can be painful."Jess looks at the groaning boy with his face covered in sweat."Do it."Antauri said."But Antauri."Nova said.

"We have no choice,Nova."He said. She nodded and Antauri signal Jess to do it."Here goes nothing."Jess bite the boy wrist, sucking the venom out. Chiro groan turn into a painful scream and starts to thrash around. Nova and Gibson restrain his body from moving while Jess tries to get much venom out as she can. Formless climbs up on the roof ready to attack the hyperforce,"Jess, keep getting that venom out of Chiro while we hold off the formless!"Sprx shouted. He and Otto attacks then Antauri sees Dane appears behind Gibson. Gibson gasps as he see him raising his ghost claw, ready to stab him till Antauri tackled him away from Gibson. Dane kicks him off then gets back on his feets in a attack stance."You will not hurt Chiro and my team!"Antauri shouted."Then fight me, sliver monkey!"He headbutt the sliver monkey to the elevator wall by running on fours. Antauri phase through the wall then went behind and swiftly scratch him. The demonic simian turns and shoots a dark electric beam at him. The sliver simian blocks the beam with his purple shield.

Dane pounce on him, pinning him down and ready to shoot a dark ball of energy at him,"It is over, sliver freak."No!"Jess screamed and attacks him. They roll off the building still fighting in the air then lands in a pile of garbage dump. She jumps out of the pile of garbage digusted and pissed,"Yuck! Great, I have to take a bunch of showers to get rid of this smell." Then something behind her grabs her wrists and pinned her to the wall,"That enough! I don't want to hurt you."Dane snarled."Then kill me already!"She shouted. The red eyes simain face turns into shock after she spoke those words then watch her eyes leaks out tears."Well? Do it! I am your enemy."She sobbed. He let her go and turn her around then kisses her. He hold her face and put her forehead on his,"I would never ever kill you,Jess." He grabs her hand and put it on his heart,"Because my heart would ache badly without you."But we are enemies and we suppose to ha-"Dane put his talon on her lips to quiet her negative words,"Even we are,Jess. I would never hate you. No matter who you really are." Jess holds him and starts crying hard. He hold her close to his chest to comfort her and rest his chin on her helmet. After a while of crying, Dane sit down and lean back on the brick wall, watching her falling asleep , and her chest heave by each breath.
