Chapter 2 Friendship or Love?

Day one...

Jess spend her whole day with Chiro, who show her around in the super robot and telling her what they do here everyday. Till Sprx and Chiro play video games against each other, Chiro give her a consoler to play too. Jess score got higher and higher, beating Sprx and Chiro score with her fingers hitting the buttons fast as it can go."GAME OVER"shows on the screen then show their scores,Sprx and Chiro was surprised her score is five hundred thousand points. She handed the consoler back to Chiro,"Thanks for letting me play."How did you do that?!"Sprx was amazed."It simple. Find the weak spot on your enemy. Nova taught me those words."Why that..."Sprx growls till Jess clears her throat as a warning about tomorrow."Well, at least she taught you well."Sprx mummbled.

"Time for training."Gibson said as he walk behind them with Antauri by his side. Chiro and Sprx groaned as the rest of the team come down to the command room."Let Jess go first."Antauri said."I'm kinda nervous about this."She said."How about I'll teach and help you."Nova walk in the training room with Jess."Hmmm.What weapon should I choose today?"Jess asked herself."You have a bunch of weapons?"Nova asked."Yes, I'll explain after training."She activated her rainbow color ghost claws and get in her defense position, Nova did the same with her fists. Antauri set the level to medium, laser guns and spinning blades come out of the walls and claws went out of the pillars."Look out!"Nova pushed Jess out of the way, dodging the lasers,"Flame Fist Fury!"She shouted, knocking out one of the laser guns till a giant claw scratches her jet pack, draining her energy cell."Nova!"Jess runs to her and put a rainbow shield over her, blocking the giant claws attacks. Jess claws turn into red spinning blades like Otto and throw her blades from a chain, cutting all the pillars down."Cool! She have my spinning blades!"Otto was amazed by watching her. Then her hands transform into drills with spikes on them, shooting purple lasers at all laser guns, destroying them one by one."Also my drills, except they don't have spikes."Gibson spoke. Next,her spinning blades transform into black and red magnets, then uses magno-bolt beam splitter at the spinning blades pillars."Heh, she also have my magnets and Magno-Bolt Beam Splitter is a nice touch for the last."Sprx is impressed. Jess hands return to normal then help Nova back up to her feet and out of the training room.

"Are you alright,Nova? Do you want me to help you?"Sprx asked."I rather have Jess help me, thank you."Nova replied as Jess help her to the medical bay. Gibson repair her jet pack then sees Jess swaying side to side, who been feeling dizzy, seeing blurry images and losing her balance,"I don't feel so good."She almost collasped, Antauri catches her then she runs to the sink, coughing something out in it."Jess? Are you alright?"Nova asked worriedly."-cough-I'm fine.-cough--cough-"Her hands tightly on the sink edge starts shaking till she turns the water on, drinking it from the faucet and cleaning the sink, washing black stuff off of her mouth then turns it off. She still clings on the sink and turn sideway, panting out of breath. Gibson takes her to the metal table to let her rest,"I think I need to do some testing."No. No testing. I'm okay. I just need to catch my breath."Jess looks at Chiro,"Besides, I can't spoil the leader day."As she rest for a few minutes, she play robot versus robot with Chiro and his robot toys in his room. Antauri levitates through the doorway and found them playing with each other,"Laser Attack!"Chiro shouted."Oh! You got me!"Jess put her hand on her chest and fell backward then plays dead. He started started laughing till she sat up and laughs with him."I see Jess getting along well with you,Chiro."Antauri smiled."Not only that,she acts funny too. One time when she sneak up behind Sprx, she use her Banshee Wail and scared him to death."Chiro and Jess busted up laughing after thinking about that.

"So that was you!"Sprx yelled at the doorway."It was just a prank,Sprx."Jess move her tail near to her side."Calm down,Sprx."Antauri looks at him. Then Sprx thinks up a idea,"Hey, Jess. You don't mind if you use your banshee wail for a another prank,will ya?"He asked."No way,Sprx."She refused."Just this once? Please, just for the red monkey?"Chiro begged."Alright, just this once and that is it."She said. Chiro and Sprx high fived then lead Jess to Gibson lab, the blue scientist is sleeping with his head on the counter near by a book.They hide behind the other counter and started snickering as Jess takes a deep breath, she let out a loud ghostly wail. Gibson jump and starts running out of the lab as fast as he can. He stops and try to catch his breath till he hears loud laughter in the lab,he peek through the doorway and see them laughing on the floor, except Jess."You should seen his face!"Sprx laughing so hard. She was a little angry at Sprx till she see Gibson at the doorway,"Hey, Gibson."then starts snickering, she tries to stop herself, but couldn't and end up busting up laughing. "Who cause this prank?!"Gibson shouted angerily, till she walk up to him and said,"I did it. I use my Banshee Wail."I see. You broke some of my glass beakers with that wail."He pointed to the shattered beakers on the counter. She looks at beakers then back at Gibson,"I'm sorry. Do you want me to get some more for you?"She asked.

"Oh,no,no,no,you don't have to. Since you just stand up to me and apologized, you don't have to. A proper lady don't have to get a replacement for a scientist."He take her hand and kiss it then grins at Sprx, who was growling at him. Jess started blushing red,"Uh, there something I have to do."She turn to look at Sprx,"You two get some sleep and get ready for the result for tomorrow."and walk out of lab to outside. Sprx growls at him one more time, then follows Chiro to his room.

Day two

Jess stretch and yawns in her hammock, then jumps down from it and sigh."Today the day to declare the winner."She walks out of Nova room to the command room and sees Sprx and Gibson standing by the rest of the team. She approuch to them, going back through yesterday in her mind, judging Gibson and Sprx through her memories,"I have chosen the winner of their silly competition."She speak sarcastically,"The winner is..." Sprx and Gibson held their breath as they waited."Gibson."She spoke. "Yes!"Gibson cheered,"In your face, Sprx!"He pointed at Sprx."What did I do?"Sprx asked."Blaming Nova,tempting me to pull a prank on Gibson and growling at him. Those are not the way to behave at others."She crossed her arms,"Since I'm going to spend time with Gibson for the whole day, you'll be his servent."That not fair!"He shouted."It is Sprx. You made up this competition."Nova said. He tells him to go clean and organize his lab,Sprx grumbled and walks away.."Now,since he cleaning my lab,how about we go outside?"he asked."Okay."Jess follows him to outside and went for a walk.

They kept walking a couple of block till they reach to the lake."The lake?"She looks at Gibson, who is smiling at her. She nods then lets out a loud whistle, a large butterfly tail goldfish size of a car jumps out of the water and back in."Yeah! Whoo hoo! Thats my Koi!"She cheered. Gibson stand there in shock of seeing a giant goldfish."Thats Koi, I name that because his orange and black markings remind me of a koi fish. He travels anywhere I go. He can teleport, make vortexs and blow large bubbles in the water."She started snickering at his face."What?"He asked."It's your face. Good thing I study about biology or I wouldn't had able to save him from those poisonous aquatic snails."She approuch to the shore."You study biology?"He asked."Not very much,but I still love biology, except the disecting part."She waits till Koi head pop up to the surface, swimming to his friend and let her pet his head then shoot a small stream of water at her face. She laughed and splash some water back at him, the fish splash large amount of water not only at her,but Gibson too. She gasp, thinking he will started to get angry. He stand there dripping till he activate his drills and shoot water at both of them,"Gotcha!" Jess scream a playful scream,she hop on Koi back then went underwater. They come back out of surface with her drills out, they both shoot water at him,"Water fight!"She shouted.

They shoot water at each other till sunset,riding on Koi back watching the sun going down,"Such a beautiful sight."Jess awed at the sky."Indeed, a very beautiful sight."Gibson agreed and look at her beautiful face with a smile then take a deep breath. He tries to move his hand to hers until ,"You better go to the robot."She said."Why?"he asked."Well, I kinda worried about your lab because Sprx might be messing with your chemicals by now"She watch his face turn into worryness then fly up in the air with his jet pack."Are you coming?"He asked."I'm going to stay with Koi for a bit. I'll be fine."She watch him fly away then looks at then watch the sky turn dark, she sigh,"Better get ready."

Day three

Gibson was kinda happy about his clean lab, but Sprx mixed up the books in the bookshelf and the papers in the drawers. Jess walks in the hallway to Sprx door then takes a deep breath, she knocks on his door."Who is it?"He yelled through the door."It's me, Jess. I'm sorry about yester-"He open the door then leans against it, looking at her."Day. Anyway, If there something I can do to make this day with me special or something?"She watch a grin appear on his face,"I shouldn't have asked that question."She muttered."Well, There is one thing."He said,"I want you to pretend to be my date and not only just that."Oh no."She thought."You have except my date and kiss me at one special location I been planning. Not just a peck on the lips, you know what I mean."He watch her face turn into anger and listen to her growl. She calm herself and sigh,"Fine. Only today and that is final."Good."He put his arm around her waist and pull her close to his side, making her blush a little. They walk to the command room,the team see Jess unhappy look on her face,"I'm going to fucking kill him."She thought."Me and Jess here are going on a date."He speak with pride. Gibson face turn into anger with jealousy."Jess don't look excited about it."Nova said."Oh, she just been wanting to know where the suprise place I'm taking her, but I wouldn't tell her. She just disappointed."Sprx lied,"We'll be going now. Come on,Jess." Jess turn her head and does the he crazy finger at the team. Chiro and Otto tries not to laugh till they walk out of the room.

Sprx take her on a ride in his fist rocket to Mr.Gakslapper place and order two hover burgers then they sit down on a table. Sprx was about to take a bite of his until he sees Jess not eating hers,"It not poisoned."I know, I'm kinda picky on meat. But no worries, this will do the trick."She uses the tip of her tail and change the burger into a slice of pepperoni pizza, then takes a bite out of it."How do you do that?"he asked. She tap her helmet with her finger,"Imagination. My tail artistic power generates from my imagination."She said. Sprx hold out his hoverburger,"Will you do mine,please?" She paint his hoverburger and it change into a pizza like hers. They eat together then went to the arcade and play a game together, they win tickets and take them to the counter to exchange them for a prize. He sees her looking at a rainbow dye colored stuff bear sitting on the shelf,"Excuse me. I like to get that rainbow bear." The man take the bear down and give it to Sprx. He hold it out to her,"For you."Sprx, you didn't have to that."She said."Nah,I been wanting to give ya something."Okay."She takes the bear, blushing a little red then hold it close to her chest,"Thank you."she looks at Sprx with her beautiful blue eyes. Sprx heart starts pounding then looks away blushing,"Heh, no problem." They take a another ride in the fist rocket,"Where are we going?"She asked."You'll see."He said. Jess look at the screen, sees he heading to a beach,"The beach." He smiled"Do you like the ocean?"He asked."I love the ocean!"She shouted with glee.

At the beach, with the sun setting behind the ocean, the two monkey sitting on the nice soft sand. Jess head resting on Sprx white chest with his hand on her upper arm, watching the sunset together. She thought about Sprx spoke about the kissing part, she sighs then gets up looking away."Whats wrong?"He asked."Nothing, it just something else I got to do."She looks at him."What is that?"He asked again. Jess hold his face then kiss him then slowly back away,"That." Sprx face blush redder then his red fur then notice she swaying side to side like she been dizzy after spinning around too much. She gets up covering her mouth and run to the bushes cough something out in it, then collasp to her knees trying to catch her breath. Sprx runs to her, kneeling by her side and hold her close to his chest as she tries to gain her breath back.

Chiro play his video game with Nova playing and Otto, Gibson and Antauri watching them till everyone hears foorstep and turn to look. They see Sprx holding tired Jess in his arms , who holding her bear against her chest tightly."Sprx is back!"Otto shouted then looks at the sick black monkey cough a little."She don't look so well."Chiro looks at her."She just need some rest. That all."He said.

Day four

Jess tries to search for her bear with her hand,she feels a warm body on her back and breathing on her neck,a arm around her waist then her eyes snap open. She sit up then looks at red monkey,still sleeping with a smile on his face, watching his chest heaving by each breath. She feels the atmosphere changing around her, hearing her own heart beating faster, her fur is wet with sweat. She lick her lips then straddle on his stomach. She sit there as seconds turn into minutes, slowly lean down to his down to his neck."Go ahead."Sprx voice startled her. She lean back and sees him smiling with his arms behind his head,"Well?" She jump off the bed and grab her bear off the floor, then runs out of the room in a fast speed to the hallway."Hey! Wait!"Sprx jump off of his bed and starts chasing after her.

Jess sees Gibson in her way, she jumps over him and runs on fours, looking back seeing Sprx bump into Gibson."Jess! Wait!"He shouted, reaching out for her. She keeps on running, dodge Nova by phasing through her in a black ghastly shape mass shadow making her shiver then look back at her,"Sorry, Nova!" Sprx runs past her, trying to run fast as his feet can go. She slide under through Chiro's legs then jump and flip above Antauri, she make it to outside as Sprx crashed into the boy."Sorry,kid."He gets back up and run to outside on the robot shoulder, he looks around for her till he found a sad raven standing by her bear,"Shoo! Get away!"Sprx yelled at the raven, watching it fly away. He pick up the bear and looks around again,"Jess! Jess,where are you?!"He called her name,no sound but the wind.

The raven flys around and around the robot to the ground, have tears in her eyes till her wing got bitten by a large stray dog. She screech in agony then scratch hard at the dog face with her talons, the dog yiped and let go of the black bird wing. She tries to run on her bird legs till the dog pounce at her. The sliver monkey grab the bird away from the dog with his telekinesis ,he bring her to his arms and watch the dog run off. He looks at her left bleeding wing where the dog bit her, petting the bird head and bring her inside to the robot. Antauri brings her to the blue simian lab and set her down on the metal table."A injured raven?"Gibson asked, then looks at bird wounded wing,"Hmmm, just needs some antibiotics and some bandages." He put some of the medicine on the bird wing and wrap it with bandages,"There. What a tame creature this is. In a few days, it can fly again."He watch Antauri hold his sliver arm out to bird. The raven hop on his arm, he scratches the bird neck, hearing her purring,"Indeed, it is." Then bring her to his room to meditiate. After a hour, the bird fell asleep, perching on his helmet. He take her off of his helmet and lay her down on his bed, then watch the raven change back into the same black simian, her bird-bat like wings with one gold rings on each wing is showing from her back, but her left wing is bandaged. Antauri smiled,carressing Jess cheek then went back to his meditions.

In her nightmare, she see herself floating in a giant glass sphere filled with red liquid, connected to a machine. Panic starts to grow in her,kicked and punched the glass with her black spike fist like Nova's,but not one crack is formed. She feels the pain on her left wing and notice a black dark rope squeezing her wing. She tries to cut it off with her ghost claws, but no avail, one more wraps around her neck, choking her. She screams and trashed around with tears in her eyes till Antauri grab her and straddled her to pin her down,"Jess! Wake up! Wake up, Jess!"He shouted. She opens her eyes and looks at Antauri eyes with tears still in her's."Antauri."She whispered his name, still in a little fear from her dream. She notice Antauri on top of her, still pinning her wrists down then started blushing a little pink, feeling horny till the door opens."Hey, Antauri. Me and Nova is looking for Je-"Chiro stopped when he sees the sliver monkey on top of the black simain. "Don't look!"Nova covers his eyes."Hey!"Chiro shouted.
