Kathryn's Story by Raven Fox: Kathryn is getting a examine done to her. She tells her doctor growing up on the home world and the eighteen year voyage to earth. A few members of Yiffstar wanted a sequel from "I love you Kathryn." I hope this is good as the first story.

Doctor's office at Ontario Oregon.

Kathryn lay on the examination table. She looked at the round device slowly going over her swollen abdomen. The albino vixen watched and listens as the machine hummed. "Why should I worry? The doctor just wants to see if I am carrying an anthropomorphic fox or a human child. I really don't care of what race of child I am carrying. I'll love him or her of regardless of the child being an anthro or human." She thought to herself. "The child must be huge, because I am getting big."

The doctor a female cougar walked in ten minutes later. Kathryn looked at the cougar's blonde hair and light green eyes. The female cougar has a surprised look on her muzzle. "Mrs. Cruise, I found out why you're so large at the early part of your pregnancy. You're carrying two fetuses, one human and an anthro kit." The doctor said to Kathryn.

Kathryn lay on the bed and grinned. "Well, it looks like Reed needs to get a larger place. Boy is he in for a surprise tonight; can you tell me the sex of my babies?"

The doctor smiled. "The kit is female and the human is male. This does happen once in a while Mrs. Cruise, since we landed on Earth twenty years ago."

"I have been on Earth for a year and half Terri. I was on the Mystic, the ship that took eighteen years to get to Earth. We landed in a valley in Wyoming, making a five mile long gouge three hundred feet wide. Some people didn't like the ship clear cutting a forest near Evanston." Said Kathryn with a chuckle.

Terri looked at the vixen who's wearing a pair of sunglasses. She knew of the group of anthros that landed over a year ago. Terri shook her feline head and watched as the vixen removed her sunglasses and looked at her with pale gray eyes. "I take it you want to hear my story?"

The cougar shivered looking at the vixen's eyes. Terri knew about albinism, the anthros that suffer from it have to wear sunglasses and protective clothing. "Well, Mrs. Cruise it must be a long story. You're lucky that you're my last patient today. I'll sign out and you can put back on your clothes, then you can tell me about your adventure." The doctor walks out shutting the door.

Kathryn snickered as the door closed. "Yeah, it was an adventure doctor. Eighteen years stuck in a ship that could only go sub light speed because a solar flare damaged our hyper drive beyond repair. It took the rest of you guys only a month in hyper space to reach Earth. I spent my child hood on a ship wondering if we make it here. Yes doctor, it's a great story. I am planning on telling it to my children. I heard that the other anthros on the ship won't tell it. But this albino vixen has no problem in telling it. I hope you bring a tape recorder doctor. If you want to write a book on it, I like to have my cut." She removes the hospital gown and puts on her clothing with her sunglasses.

Terri walked out of the examination room. The doctor is in thought; she barely remembered the home world because she was eight when her race had to leave the doomed planet. The cougar walked in to her office, sat at her desk and looked at pictures on the desk. Terri looked at the images on the photos knowing that some of the anthros are deceased, due to being older and lost the drawings for spots on the ships. She picked up Kathryn's medical folder and thumbed thru it. "So, my vixen patient. You have a story to tell. According to your medical record you're twenty seven. You were seven when you left the home world. What was it like spending your childhood on that ship?" The cougar thought to herself as she read more of Kathryn's medical history.

Fifteen minutes later at the hospital cafeteria.

Kathryn sat at a table with Terri eating a meal of sliced chicken and steamed carrots. Terri looked at her patient while eating a 9 oz. steak with a baked potato. Kathryn put down her eating utensils and grinned at the cougar. "I take it from the look I am getting from you; you want to hear my story."

Terri looked at the white colored vixen with black tipped ears with a pink colored nose. "Yes Mrs. Cruise, I like to hear it. None of the other anthros from that ship won't talk about it. The captain in charge of the ship is not saying any thing. He's now at a Caribbean island with most of the crew. I think they were told to be quiet."

Kathryn laughed. "Those personal kept order on a badly damaged ship, plus they had to keep a million passengers alive and healthy. Captain Jose deserves to be at a quiet town after all those years of stress on him. Do you want to record this for a book?"

Terri placed a recording device on the table. "Curious kitty wants to know what happened. You're the only person from that ship who will talk about it."

"Let me satisfy that curiosity let me tell you about my earlier years. Then I'll tell you about my eighteen year voyage." Said Kathryn as she takes a sip of water from a glass thru a straw.

Twenty seven years earlier the planet Regal. A hospital delivery room.

The male fox watched as the vixen pushed to deliver the kit. He watched as the kit started to emerge from his wife. It seems to be a normal delivery till the kit was cleaned off, and then she started to scream in pain. The doctor examines the kit and shook his head noting the pale eyes and white fur. "She's an albino, Fred. I got to cover those eyes or she'll go blind."

Fred looked at the new born with disgust. "I am putting her up for adoption. I don't want to raise that."

The doctor looked at the male fox with anger. "I'll start the process; you know that she has to be in your care till she's nine months old."

Fred sighed. "All right, I'll take care of that till its nine months old." He walks out of the delivery room not even looking at his daughter. The male tiger glared at the fox and looked at the white kit lying on the table being cleaned with compassion.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"What? Your own father didn't like you and he got rid of you? How did you find that out, you were just born?" Asked Terri looking at Kathryn.

"Dr. Harrison the tiger who delivered me told me that story a few months after the Mystic landed." Replied Kathryn looking at Terri.

Terri looked at the dark lens of the sunglasses. She heard of Kathryn of being cold to most humans and anthros till she started seeing a human male named Reed. "I can't blame you for having a chip on your shoulder Kathryn. I would to if I was sent away by my parents." Terri thought to herself as Kathryn started to talk again.

"At the age of nine months, I was adopted by another fox couple. For some reason they were incapable of having kits of their own." Kathryn said to Terri as she continued her story.

Twenty six years earlier Regal, hospital hallway.

"Dr. Harrison, we'll adopt her. What's her name?" Said the male fox looking at the nine month old white vixen wearing a pair of dark glasses.

The tiger sighed and looked at Robert a friend of his. "Her parents didn't give her a name. That fox couple just dumped her here last night. Be careful with her my friend, she has to be completely covered on a sunny day. I would adopt her myself, but I have five kids of my own. I know that you and Katie have been trying for years."

Robert looked at the white colored vixen playing with a nurse. "Thank you my friend, I'll name her Kathryn after my great grandmother."

The tiger playfully slaps the fox on the shoulder. "Let's get started on the paperwork so you can take her home tonight." The two anthros walk down the hall. The white vixen waves at the tiger as he walks by, he waves back.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"Seems everything worked out for you. How was the first seven years of your life?" Asked Terri finishing up her steak.

Kathryn munches on a piece of chicken, takes another sip of water. "I loved my adoptive parents, they were kind to me. I had some problems with bullies in the first two years of school. I only had two friends, a female wolf named Layla and a Lynx named Melina. I thought that I was going to have a normal life till that year, the year our planet got destroyed."

Twenty years ago at Regal at an observatory.

"Something's wrong here, Klein take a look at this. I might need a second opinion on this." Said the black colored panther looking at a section of the sun at a computer monitor. The image is coming from a probe launched a couple of years ago.

The gray male wolf walked up to the computer screen. "What do you have Kris?"

"I don't know, check out sector 567G. I am getting a strange picture from the probe." Said Kris looking at the screen.

Klein takes a look and puts the image on a larger screen. He stares at the picture and his jaw drops open. "This is not good Kris. What you're looking at is a section of the sun that's ready to shoot a very large solar flare. I better make some phone calls."

Two weeks later Kathryn's parents home.

"Kathryn, come in the living room." Said Katie watching the news. She heard the sound of two kids running. "No running in the house, you to Layla."

"What's going on mom?" Asked Kathryn standing next to a wolf.

"We might be moving soon." Said Katie looking at the TV.

"Is Layla going to move to?" Asked the vixen looking at the wolf.

"Maybe, but she might be on a different vehicle." Replied Katie looking at the young wolf standing next to her daughter.

Regal government building, that evening.

Robert looked at the data in front of him and sighed. "We can only save six million; we only have six of those ships. One million will have to stay behind."

"What do you mean, we have only six ships. I thought we have seven of those ships." Said a bobcat, the leader of Regal.

"That ship is not done; it needs another six months before its flight ready. That's having the max amount of personal working on it twenty four hours a day. We don't have six months, we have five days." Said Robert grimly looking at the bobcat.

The leader looked at the other personal in the meeting room and sighed. "I just hate making these decisions of who's going to live or die. I have an idea, but some personal are not going to like it, but it will cut six hundred thousand. One thing Robert, where are our people going to?"

Robert looked at some pictures. "To the milky way galaxy. At a part of that section of space, there's a planet called Earth it's the third one from a sun. The planet is inhabited by a race called humans; they are three hundred years behind us in technology. According to our probes, they just had a serious viral plague that wiped out ninety percent of their population. There's only nine hundred million of them left on the planet, there use to be sixteen billion."

Space port five days later.

"Mom, dad how come you're not going on the ship with me?" Cried Kathryn looking at her parents.

"Don't worry Kathryn; a group of canines are going to take care of you. We have to go on another ship dear. Be a good girl and we 'll see you in one month." Said Robert hugging his daughter.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"That was the last time I saw my adoptive parents." Replied Kathryn with a tear streaming down one of her checks. "They were assigned to the Primus; you know what happen to that ship. Excuse me, I need to use the restroom be back in a few minutes." She gets up and walks to the restrooms.

"I know what happen to the Primus Kathryn. The Mystic had a power failure and everything shut down. The Primus turned around to put the Mystic in a tractor beam, and then our sun shot its flare. The Primus got caught in the flare and gotten destroyed; our doomed planet shielded the Mystic." Terri thought to herself thinking of relatives who were on the ship.

A few minutes later Kathryn sat back down at the table. She grinned at Terri, takes another sip of water. "Now comes the fun part of the story. For you to understand, I ended up being a crew member later on. So I am going to tell you what happen to the Mystic after the solar flare. Captain Jose told me this part." She takes a sip of water.

Terri looked at the dark sunglasses staring at her as the vixen spoke.

Twenty years ago. Orbit at the remains of Regal, Mystic's bridge.

The brown and tan colored jackal stands up and looks around. The only lighting on was the emergency lighting. He looks around as the bridge crew starts resetting systems. A few minutes later lights came back on and systems came back on line. "Damage report!" Jose yelled at the crew.

A young vixen walks up to Jose. "Captain, our core had a power spike causing it to scram. The engineer is in the process in resetting it. He said it was caused by a faulty relay. It would have been spotted earlier if the ship had more testing."

"I know Barb; this ship only has eighteen minutes of flight time. It was pushed into service in the last six days. Some of the walls haven't been painted and we only have one communication system." Said Jose looking at some areas on the bridge that are unfinished.

Barb looked at the view screen as it flicked back on. She gasped at the sight of the planet. Regal is now an ugly dark brown in color with streaks of red. The planet used to be a beautiful blue and green like the planet they were heading to. "Can't believe it Captain, it use to be pretty. Now it's dead, is it safe now?"

A tiger looked at his equipment and shook his head. "Nope, there's no atmosphere. We would not last one minute on the surface. The temperature is now seven hundred degrees on the surface. The home world is now dead, we can't live there anymore." He said grimly and turned away from his equipment.

Jose looked at his crew. "Alright, let's get our engines up and running then will catch up with the others. Let's put away the recordings of the view screen of the home world and records of your scanning equipment Fredrick."

"Captain, the Primus was fifty miles ahead of us and was heading toward us. Where is that ship?" Asked Barb looking at the view screen.

Fredrick looked at his gear and turned his dark blue eyes to the vixen. "I am not picking up anything, the ship is gone. I am only picking up four ion trails from four ships."

The vixen just stood silent, the only sound on the bridge was the humming of equipment. A phone beeped, Jose picked it up and listens. He put the phone down and looked at the bridge crew. "The hyper drive is damaged, plus our faster than light engines are badly damaged. Going into hyper space is impossible; we only have the sub light engines. This is going to be a long trip." The bridge went quiet again till the engines came back on.

Passenger area on the Mystic, the same moment.

The white colored vixen opened her eyes. She looked around at the mess of bodies that were thrown around by the motion of the ship. Kathryn heard moaning and cries in the dark. She got up and dusted herself off, then flinched and screamed as the lights came back on. Kathryn felt around holding a hand over her eyes feeling for her glasses. They are put in her hand by some one. The vixen puts on the glasses and saw a female blue merle collie looking at her.

"Are you all right dear?" Asked the collie looking at the vixen with pale blue eyes.

The vixen looks at the female collie and smiles. "Yes maam, I half to wear these dark glasses because the light hurts my eyes. My name is Kathryn, what's yours?"

"My name is Tammy, where's your parents?" Asked Tammy looking at the seven year old vixen.

"They're on another ship called Primus. My parents told me that I'll see them in a month. A month lasts a long time doesn't it Tammy." Said Kathryn looking around the passenger area.

Tammy looked out of the large window looking at the remains of Regal. She saw that the ship is moving slow. "What happen to the ship near the planet? Where are the others? How come were not going in to hyper space?" Tammy turns to the vixen and smiles. "Let's go find the people who have to look after you. I use to fly to other parts of the galaxy, pretty soon we'll be going very fast."

"What's that like?" Asked Kathryn following Tammy.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"So you had some one to look after you during the voyage. What happen to you Kathryn? I heard that you didn't care for any one till you meet Reed." Asked Terri looking at Kathryn.

Kathryn sighed smoothed out her white hair and takes a deep breath. "The group of canines who were to look after me refuses to care for me. We did loose some people on that ship; Tammy was lost from me eleven years ago by getting ill. I know that the news reports say that every thing was fine and some names have gotten mixed up."

Terri looked at Kathryn who takes a sip of water. "So when did you find out that the Primus was destroyed?"

Kathryn flips a strand of white hair off her muzzle. "Tammy told me about the Primus when I was twelve years old. I found out about the damaged hyper drive the day after we lifted off Regal. The captain told every one on board by the P A system. One fact Terri, we used parts from our one com system to set up a TV station. I know what you're thinking, why we didn't call for help? We tried, nobody answered. An engineer doing a space walk saw the antennas were missing while checking the hull for damage. He also saw that we lost a warp nacelle and the severely damaged other one. We couldn't have gone into hyper space without putting the ship in a space dock to repair it. The space docks were destroyed by the solar flare, we were on our own."

Tammy stared at the dark sunglasses looking at her. "I am starting to understand you Kathryn. The reason you didn't care for any one is because you lost your adoptive parents and a gal named Tammy. What made you to start caring for Reed?"

"That's later on Terri, let me continue on. It gets more interesting, you know about a certain talent albinos have?" Asked Kathryn looking at Terri, who nodded.

"Yes I do, the albino foxes can do like a teleporting trick at short distances. You have that talent don't you?" Terri replied taking in the last piece of her potato.

"Yes I do, I am not doing it at the moment because I am pregnant. The last time I did was two months ago. Right now I don't want to take any chances because you have to have a clear mind. Carrying a child, I mean children, my mind is not clear." Said Kathryn with a grin.

Thirteen years ago Mystic in route to Earth, passage way.

The fourteen year old white vixen is running. Kathryn is being chased by a couple of bullies. She clears her mind as she turns a corner and thinks about Tammy's living area. Kathryn knows that she'll be safe there; all of a sudden she has the sensation of her fur standing up.

"Where did that white freak go?" Said one of the two coyotes.

The other one looks around and shrugs. "I don't know, she must be hiding. Those foxes are sly; we'll get her next time." The two canines walk away.

Tammy's living area same time.

Tammy is straightening out the living quarters when Kathryn suddenly appeared in the middle of the room and ran into the wall knocking herself out. The collie picked up the vixen and set her on the bed. She cleaned off her bloodied muzzle from the impact from the wall and sat her sunglasses on a night stand.

Kathryn woke up and grabbed her sunglasses. She looked around and saw Tammy looking at her. "You saved me Tammy, do you carry me inside?"

Tammy looked at Kathryn with a surprised look. She knew of the teleporting talent of albinos. "You saved yourself Kathryn."

"What do you mean I saved myself? I was running for my life. A couple of guys were chasing me, and then I was knocked out." Replied Kathryn holding a cloth to her nose.

Tammy sighed; she is the only adult that is caring for the young vixen. The collie might as well tell her of her talent. Tammy sat on the foot of the bed and looked at Kathryn. "Since I am the closest to a parent to you at the moment. I got to tell you a few things to keep you out of trouble. Starting with your recent teleport you just did. Kathryn, albino foxes can teleport a short distance. I did some reading on it and I can teach you how to use your talent, so you won't teleport outside the ship. So just rest now, then I'll start teaching you after the sleep cycle."

Kathryn went to sleep closing her eyes. Tammy walked up removed her sunglasses and dimmed the lights.

Hospital cafeteria present.

"Then two years later, you lost her." Replied Terri looking at Kathryn. "What did she die of?"

Kathryn felt a pain in her heart, she looked at Terri. "I know it was a type of cancer. The ship didn't have a properly equipped medical center. The trip was spouse to be one month, not eighteen years. After my first teleport I started to work out. I started to lift heavy objects so I can make myself stronger. After the crew jettisoned Tammy's body outside the ship for the funeral those bullies started to give me a bad time again. I snapped one day."

Eleven years ago Mystic passage way.

"I can believe she's gone. First my adoptive parents died on the Primus. Now Tammy, why do every one I care about dies?" Kathryn thinks to herself as she walks down the passage.

"Hey freak, we have some unfinished business. Such a shame that collie bitch isn't around to protect you." Said a familiar voice.

Kathryn turns around and sees the two coyote anthros looking at her. "That's it! I am going to teach these dam jerks a lesson in pain! I had it; I had enough of being treated like an outsider. I have much right to life as these dam jerks, and nobody calls Tammy a bitch. She was a sweet female anthro collie." She screamed to herself as she walked to the two male canines.

"Oh the white freak wants to play ulp!" Said one of the coyotes as a fist hits his jaw. The other went to take a swing at Kathryn, but was given an elbow to the jaw. Kathryn yelled loud as she started beating the two coyotes. She felt some hands grabbing her and some shouts, but Kathryn continued to beat on the canines. Then there's a sharp pain and her world went black.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"What happen?" Asked Terri sipping a drink.

"I got arrested by a couple of security guards on patrol." Replied Kathryn sipping on a straw.

"Did you spend time in the brig?" Asked Terri, looking at Kathryn.

Kathryn nodded her head and continued her story.

Mystic's bridge in route to Earth, one hour after Kathryn's arrest.

"Well captain, everything is sort of going smoothly. That last planet wasn't habitable, but we gotten a lot of raw materials to support us for another twelve years. We have one problem; we need to replenish the crew. Some are burnt out and want to quit." Said Barb looking at the jackal.

Jose closed his eyes in thought and then opens them. "I have an idea Barb; ask around the passengers to see if anyone wants to volunteer to do some work on this ship. I know it's against protocol, but were not in a normal situation."

The vixen smiled, she was going to leave. Instead she spoke up. "Captain, there's a small problem. We have a sixteen year old vixen in the brig. She was attacked, but she refused to stop beating on her assailants. The security patrol had to use shock sticks on her."

Jose looked at Barb with an angry look. "We don't keep children in the brig."

Barb looked at the jackal. "Captain, she didn't fight like a child. Both coyotes are in the medical ward with multiple fractures."

"I am going to have a talk with this vixen. I think I found a new crew member. Those two coyotes are taking that vixen's place in the brig after the doctor clears them." Said Jose as he exit's the bridge being followed by Barb.

Mystic's brig ten minutes later.

Jose and Barb walked to the force field. Barb gasped at the sight of Kathryn. She saw a white colored vixen that is almost six feet tall with a muscular build with a large breast size around an E cup. The white vixen is chained to the wall standing. "Dam Jose, she's built like an Amazon. I am a normal built vixen, but this one makes me look like a little girl. No wonder the security patrol used shock sticks on her."

The jackal looked at the vixen and shook his head. He glanced at Barb, who's a red colored vixen standing at five foot five with a 35 C breast size with brown head hair to her shoulders. "Those canines were stupid in picking a fight with her. I think we can find her a job on the crew." Jose turns to a bobcat. "Release her; I want to talk to her."

The bobcat shivers. "Are you sure captain? She's not being easy to handle. That vixen is not minding us, that's why she's chained to the wall."

"She's only sixteen, only a child." Replied Barb looking at the white vixen, who's starting to wake up.

"That is not a child Barb. She fights like a wildcat." Said the bobcat noticing the vixen starting to move. He charges his shock stick as he drops the force field.

Kathryn opened her eyes noticing that the lights are dimmed she opened them fully. She saw a brown and tan colored jackal and a red vixen with brown hair. "So, how long am I going to be your guest captain?" Kathryn stared at the anthros; she smiled at the sight of the bobcat cowering.

Jose gasped at the pale gray eyes looking at him. He turned to Barb. "What's with her eyes Barb?"

"She's an albino, we're lucky that the lights are dimmed or she'll be screaming in pain. She must have had a rough life on this ship, that's why she's muscular in build." Replied Barb staring at the vixen.

Jose walked closer to the vixen. "How do you know I am the captain of this ship?"

"My dad pointed you out to me when I was boarding this ship captain." Said Kathryn, pulling on her manacles.

"Where's your father? I want to talk to him. You seem to have a good memory to remember my face after all these years." Said Jose as he watched Kathryn pulling on the manacles. "Don't even bother in freeing yourself. A wolf can't break those chains. I'll ask you again, where are your parents?"

Kathryn stopped pulling on the manacles and stared at Jose. "I am sorry captain; my parents were on the Primus. I was in the care of a female collie till three days ago. You said some nice stuff at her funeral two days ago. I've been on my own since."

Jose shivered at the mention of the Primus. The memory of the ship with one million anthros will haunt him for the rest of his life. "So, what's your name?"

"My name is Kathryn captain. You have the wrong person in this brig. Those two coyotes should be in here not me." She pulls on the manacles hard.

Jose smiled at Kathryn and walks closer to the vixen looking her in the eye. "I know, I am going to give you a choice Kathryn. Become a crew member on this ship, or spend two months in here for assault and disobeying an order from a security guard. The choice is yours; you seem to be an intelligent vixen. I like you to become a member of my crew."

Kathryn looked at the jackal and the vixen and grinned. "Do you have a dental plan?" She grinned showing her teeth that are in good health.

Jose laughed and smiles at Kathryn. "Yes we do, plus three square meals a day. The vixen is my first mate named Barb; she'll be your boss. I am Jose captain of this ship that can't go into hyper space due to severe damage. The bobcat is Ted, he's nice guy. He needs some muscle in his squad. Ted, free her."

Ted walks up to Kathryn and undo's the manacles. He looks at the vixen rubbing her wrists. "Can I have her?"

Jose looks at Kathryn. "Want to work for him? He can use your help in keeping order on this ship."

Kathryn looks at Ted and grins. "Sure, no problem. I don't want what happen to me to happen to someone else."

"I think we're going to get along." Said Jose as they left the brig.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"So, you ended up working for security on the Mystic for the rest of your journey. How was it?" Asked Terri as she checked the time. The story has been going on for the last ninety minutes.

Kathryn smiled. "It was all right, I did have a brief relationship with a male fox. I lost my virginity to him, I am not telling that story. To many painful memories, I am going to fast forward to when we landed on Earth, in future appointments I'll fill in the gaps ok?"

Terri nodded; she wants to hear this part. "No problem Kathryn, I have a feeling that there's more to your story." She starts the recording device again.

Lunar orbit year and a half ago.

Jose smiled at the sight of Earth on the view screen. It's been a long eighteen years of traveling in space. It also was a heavy price to pay. He lost some passengers to murders and twenty crew members to accidents. He looked at the tall white vixen standing next to him. "It's almost over Kathryn, I am looking forward of breathing normal air."

Kathryn removes her sunglasses and looks at the blue green planet. "Yes, it is. The tracking device from the Antieum is right at this area." She points at an area on a continent. "The other three are close by it. They must have landed at that one area Captain."

Jose looked at Kathryn and smiled. The vixen's personality is still rough at some anthros, but she treats him and Barb with respect. Kathryn is a different vixen from the first time he saw her in the brig. "So, what are you going to do after we land?"

Kathryn laughs. "I am going to kiss the ground, and then I am going to look up a couple of friends from my childhood." She said thinking of the wolf named Layla and the female lynx. The vixen watched as the Earth grew in size.

International Space Station, high Earth orbit.

The human male looked outside a portal while floating in zero-G. He looked at a male tiger floating by him. "So Gregg, I know this station is primitive compared to those starships you anthros came here on."

The tiger laughed and looked around. "It's not so bad. We burned out those ships hyper drives getting here. Repairs on them will take another two years, and then you humans can walk on Mars. The mission will be one month instead of two years."

The human chuckled looking out the portal again, then the sunlight disappeared as something large flew by. "What the hell is that!?"

Gregg looked at the large starship and his jaw dropped open. "Sam my friend that's the Mystic. Earth's population just went up over one million anthro's. I thought that ship was destroyed at Regal. We better get a hold of NASA, she's badly damaged. The landing isn't going to be pretty like the ones from over eighteen years ago." The tiger shook his head and whispered. "I hope you guys land in one piece."

Mystic's bridge entering the Earth atmosphere.

"Were not going to make it to the other ships captain. The ship entered the atmosphere too early." Said Kathryn looking at a read out.

Jose grinned and looked at Kathryn. "You have been a good crew member Kathryn. I am glad you decided to work for me. Hang on to something this is not going to be pretty." He looks at Barb at the controls. "Put her down at an isolated area, I don't want to kill anybody with this monster." The vixen nodded and adjusted the controls.

Near Evanston Wyoming a car driving down I-80.

Layla is driving down the highway; the female wolf looked at Richard a blonde hair human that's asleep in the passenger seat. She smiled and drove on looking at the road, and then something large flew over head. Layla pulled over the side of the road and watched as the large starship did a turn. She watched as the craft did a rough landing and slid on the ground, and then stopped.

The wolf looked at the craft and memories flooded her mind. She saw a RV pull over and saw a young male wolf looking at the craft. A hand touched her; Richard is staring at the large starship. "Is that one of yours?" He asked looking at the starship.

She nodded and watched as a hatch opened. Some anthros walked out, Layla watched as the young male wolf hugged a wolf couple. "Looks like there's a reunion going on there." She said looking at the wolves. Then a bunch of cars with flashing lights pulled over and authorities started to restore order. "Looks like we're needed, grab our badges."

Minutes later Layla saw three anthros walk out. A brown and tan Jackal wearing a uniform, along with two vixens. "There's part of the crew." Layla said to the law enforcement. The authorities walked up to the trio of anthros and started to question them. Then one of the vixens kissed the ground. The vixen is tall and white in color wearing sunglasses. "Kathryn is that you?" Layla asked, remembering the vixen she use to play with years ago.

Kathryn kissed the ground after talking to some law enforcement. She heard her named called and saw a female wolf walking up to her. Kathryn sniffed the air and smiled at the wolf. "Layla, let's see. It's been eighteen years." She hugged the wolf.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"Then we were sent to Evanston to be question more by government personal. Layla tried to get me in the police department, because I was part of security on the Mystic. The police rejected me because I am an albino. I ended being a security guard at a business at this town." Said Kathryn with a smile.

Terri is quiet; she just heard a story that was like an adventure novel. "So Kathryn, I heard some strange versions of how you meet Reed. I want to hear your version."

Kathryn smiled showing her teeth. "All right, one part is weird, but I got to include it for you to understand."

Ontario Oregon six months ago, flying J truck stop.

Kathryn stood at the cash register as the young teenage boy rang up her purchase. She passed out the cash to pay for her stuff. The vixen said good bye and walked out. Kathryn heard the human talking to the casher as she walked out of the store. She's been a loner since settling down at this town. "I should of went with Jose and Barb to the Caribbean, but it's to sunny there."

"Excuse me, where you on the Mystic?" Said a male voice.

Kathryn turned and saw a male fox pumping gas in a small car. "Yes I was, how did you know?"

"The way you're walking." The fox's eyes widen. "I know you; you're Robert and Katie's daughter. I am his younger brother, I am you're uncle Rich. I am so glad you're still alive Kathryn." He hugs her and the two foxes talk to each other for a few minutes. "Don't be a stranger Kathryn; I want to see you again." He hands her a piece of paper.

Kathryn looks at the paper and stuffs it in a pocket in her protective jacket. "Uncle Rich, I am not going to be a stranger. I'll visit you once in a while; I miss your older brother. I wish my parents are still alive." She wipes a tear and waves back to the human waving to her. Kathryn saw a large SUV following the smaller car on to the freeway.

"He's in danger Kathryn." Said a familiar voice.

Kathryn looked around and saw Tammy standing in front of her. "I better get inside the heat is making me see things."

"Kathryn, I am not an illusion. I'll always be with you, that human is going die if you don't help him." Tammy said to Kathryn.

"Why should I help him, I don't know him. The police rejected me; some humans stare at me because I am all white in color." Kathryn said to the collie.

"Kathryn, please help him as a favor to me." Pleaded Tammy.

"How can I help? I don't know where he's at. I need a place I been at for my talent to work." Said Kathryn with frown.

The collie sighed and looked at Kathryn. "You're like a daughter to me Kathryn. I am going to teach you one more lesson. Think of his face or car and you'll appear right near him or his car. Hurry up daughter."

Kathryn looked around and saw no one or vehicles. She put the image of the car in her mind and concentrated. No one saw the vixen vanish in thin air.

Hospital cafeteria present day.

"I saved his life Terri; he would have died if I didn't listen to Tammy. I know it sounds all illusion and seeing things I heard Tammy talking to me. Running into my uncle might have triggered it, plus it was hot that day. That's something for you to think about." Kathryn said with a smile.

Terri looked at Kathryn in thought, she sighed and exhaled. "I have no answer for that Kathryn. To me life is full of surprises and what if's. What if, our sun shot that massive flare four months later, will our planet still be livable. What if, the Mystic didn't have a defective relay, will Tammy be alive today with your parents. So many questions without a simple answer Kathryn." She turns off the recording device. "See you next month?"

Kathryn nodded and stands up with Terri giving her a hug. "See you next month Terri."

Two years later at Kathryn's and Reed's new home.

Kathryn watched the news as one of the starships lifted off to begin its journey to Mars. Tammy her daughter sat next to her with the son named Robert. The daughter is developing faster than the son; because anthros grow fast in their first couple of years then the growth slows down. "Mom, did you ride in one of those ships? That's what dad says."

"Yes I did sweet heart, I'll tell you about it someday." Kathryn said to her daughter as she watched the TV. She picks up a book written by Terri. "THE FLIGHT OF THE MYSTIC." The book is a best seller, plus there are rumors that a movie studio wants to make a movie. Kathryn shrugs and looks at her kids and smiles.

THE END

I hope this story is good as the first one. I admit it's hard for me to write sequels of a favorite story to readers: Raven Fox:)
