*********************************************

Aura met Theo at Ms. Brown's house. She was becoming famous for rescuing what some called the "demi-humans", just like she had Aura, and now Theo. Inexplicably, more and more of these "demi-humans" were being born to human parents, and when they were not killed at birth, were subject to extensive testing. Ms. Brown would read about new demi-humans in the news, and then attempt to make contact, with the intention of counseling and saving the otherwise ostracized children.

Ms. Brown had a huge plot of land- a massive house with acres of sprawling woods and rolling hills. When Ms. Brown brought Aura in, she explained to him simple rules to keep him safe: where and when he could travel, what to do if he was seen, and so on. With complete disregard for the rules, he spent the first 3 days of his stay with Ms. Brown not actually at her house, but in the forest she owned.

Aura never had a home. From the moment he was born, he was in a hospital, where he was under constant supervision, testing and monitoring. At Ms. Brown's he was free- he could fly, climb trees, dig holes, do anything he pleased. He spent 3 days coming to terms with his new life, one that he came to enjoy.

Aura's home soon became the woods, and he would only return to Ms. Brown to tell her that he was safe. It was a rainy afternoon, and Aura had decided to spend the day inside with Ms. Brown. Something had been troubling her lately, he could tell. He thought that maybe she was lonely, so he was going to spend more time with her.

He stepped into the mud room from the light rain, and wiped down his wet scales with a towel. Rain didn't stick to his scales very well, but he often collected lots of dirt on his scales when it rained. He also put clothes on- he saw no need for him to wear anything at all, but Ms. Brown insisted, and it was the least he could do for her. He slipped into the only specially cut shirt and shorts he had, and stepped into the living room.

He was greeted by the smell of cookies in the oven- a rare treat! He heard the oven door slam, so he trotted into the kitchen.

"Hello Ms. Brown!" Aura said as he bounced into the kitchen.

"Aura," Ms. Brown replied, sounding surprised, almost disappointed, as if she wanted to keep the cookies a secret. "The rain got to you already?" she asked, knowing that Aura has stayed out in the rain before.

"Nah, I just thought I'd keep you company today!" he replied, his heart swelling with pride.

"Oh," she paused, as she processed this information. "I'll be right with you honey," she waved a hand toward the living room, and Aura took that as an indication for him to wait for her there.

Something was bothering Ms. Brown, and it was making Aura uneasy. She was still distracted, like she has been looking for her car keys for days on end. He heard the phone slam, and his heart jumped- he sat up to wait for Ms. Brown to come into the living room. A moment too short passed when he heard the front door slam. Aura jumped up and looked out the front window to see Ms. Brown starting her car.

For the first time in his life, Aura experienced heartbreak. He collapsed into a chair, flashing back to when he first met Ms. Brown. When he was a kid, he didn't know why he was in the hospital. It wasn't until he saw children's TV shows on TV that he finally began to understand. It was shortly after then that Ms. Brown made her first visit. She brought him cookies, his first homemade meal. She showed him a magic trick, pulling a quarter from various hidden places on his body. She was his missing piece, a real mother.

Even though he spent all his time away from Ms. Brown, she still fit in his void. And when he thought his void wasn't big enough for her, he made it bigger. And now she wasn't there to fill it at all. Now he had a larger void than he ever had before.

Soon, anger set in. How dare she leave him when he was doing her such a favor? He stomped around the house, looking for some way to get back at her. She should regret leaving him so suddenly, when he was so open to her. He had finally decided on a flower pot, and with a rage filled swing, knocked the pot to the floor, shattering it, sending dirt flying and scattering flowers.

Suddenly Aura was overcome with a sense of empathy for the flowers, that were now going to die because of his selfish rage. He tried to give some of the flowers dirt, thinking that a sufficient amount of dirt would allow them to survive. In the process, he found that he had broken stems, and he felt all hope was lost. Guilt-stricken, he returned to his seat in the living room and awaited Ms. Browns return.

Aura didn't look up when he heard the door click open, he was too afraid of what Ms. Brown was going to say when she saw the broken pot.

"Come, come on in, quickly!" she said in a hushed shout. Aura suddenly jumped up to hide; who could she be talking to? Peering around a corner, Aura saw something that sent his head spinning. A young anthropomorphic fox stepped into the house from the rain, his fur matted down from the rain.

"Stay right here," she said before running off, and shortly later returning to the Fox with a towel, and she vigorously dried him off. She escorted the fox to the living room, and sat him down with the towel wrapped around his shoulders. "I've got cookies in the oven. Do you want a cookie?" she asked the fox, who nodded in response. Aura slinked behind a corner to remain unseen.

When Ms. Brown disappeared into the kitchen to fetch the cookies, Aura stepped out of hiding. The fox's back was to him. He stared, wondering who this was, where he came from. He felt a strong connection to him, he wanted to say something, but he had never been so afraid.

When Ms. Brown returned from the kitchen, she spotted Aura standing shyly behind the fox.

"Aura, come join us!" she exclaimed, her mood a sharp contrast to earlier in the day. She motioned to a seat across from the couch as she sat down next to the fox. "Aura, this is Theo; Theo, this is Aura, he's like you," she said as Aura sat.

Theo was hunched over, pulling the towel tight over his shoulders. Ms. Theo wrapped an arm around him consolingly as she offered him a cookie.

"Hey," Aura said, forcing a smile. Theo detected something in Aura's voice that finally made him look up. He gasped in fright. He'd never seen a dragon before, and here was an anthropomorphic one sitting right in front of him!

"W, what are you?" he asked with morbid fascination.

"Me? I'm a dragon!" Aura responded with a sudden pride.

"Are you different like me?" he asked.

Aura looked to Ms. Brown, confused by Theo's question.

Ms. Brown smiled, "You're both very special. I'm going to take care of you, and keep you safe, I promise." She pulled Theo close, and looked as though she was crying, but ran out of tears.

The following day, the rain had stopped, and a hot sun took care of most of the wet that was left behind. Theo was encouraged to explore the forest behind the house, where Aura had run off to after meeting Theo. It took a lot of courage for Theo to step out of the house by himself, but he wanted to see the dragon again. He couldn't get the image of the white and green scaled creature out of his head. He wanted to see it again, to touch it. He wandered the forest, not letting the house out of his sight.

A shadow quickly passed overhead, causing Theo's heart to skip a beat. He looked up, wondering what it was. He hoped it was the dragon, and maybe he could catch a glimpse as it flew overhead.

"Hey Theo, glad to see that you came outside," spoke a voice. Theo spun around to be greeted by the dragon, and the first thing that he noticed was that Aura wasn't wearing any clothes. Theo jumped back in surprised.

"Hey, take it easy, I'm your friend." Aura wasn't much taller than the fox, but he crouched down anyway, and when Theo simply stood staring, he sat. Aura patted the ground next to him. "Come, on sit."

Theo cautiously stepped over to Aura, and finally sat down next to the dragon. He stared at the dragon, admiring the smooth sheen of his green and white scales, but also in shock that he wasn't wearing any clothes.

"Are you alright, Theo?" Aura asked, looking concerned.

"No- well, um, yeah but," Theo paused, gathering his thoughts so that he didn't stumble over more of his words, "you're not wearing any clothes."

"Oh," Aura chuckled, "Why should I? No one sees me out here, and they just get in my way. Makes me feel more free." Theo looked unconvinced. "Go ahead, try it."

They stared at each other for a moment of awkward silence. Theo couldn't keep his thoughts organized; so many things were going through his head. For a moment he wanted to return back to his old Mom and Dad, where at least he knew what to expect. His thoughts were shattered as a cold paw slid up his back fur, underneath his shirt. He twisted to see Aura's paw awkwardly reaching, trying to get Theo's shirt off.

"Hey, help me out here." Aura said, and before he realized what he was doing, Theo pulled his shirt off. As if on cue, a breeze blew through the trees and across Theo's exposed fur. Theo had felt nothing like it, and he closed his eyes, letting the clean air refresh his fur for the first time.

"Hey, if you're liking that, then maybe you should get your pants and underwear off," suggested Aura. Theo nodded and unbuttoned his jeans and slid them down to his ankles. He paused for a moment, thinking that he should put his clothes somewhere so they don't get dirty. However, some primal instinct took over and he pulled down his underwear and stepped out of the rest of his clothes.

"Doesn't that feel nice?" Aura asked, and Theo nodded. Aura patted the ground next to him again and Theo sat next to him, hugging his knees to his chest. Aura wrapped a scaly arm around Theo's shoulders and pulled him close.

"I don't know where you came from, but you can relax here." Aura rubbed Theo's shoulder, who began to realize that he kind of liked being hugged like that, and also was fascinated by the texture of Aura's scales. He reached a paw to Aura's leg and curiously rubbed it gently in his paw. They slid even closer to each other, but remained silent.

As Theo rubbed Aura's leg, he noticed that there was no sheath between Aura's legs. He looked down to check that his own was still there, and looked back to Aura to make sure that he didn't see a sheath. He slid the paw that he had on Aura's leg to between his legs.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Aura asked in surprise as he grabbed Theo's arm.

"You... you don't have a sheath," Theo explained, and lowered his knees to show by example.

Aura took his paw from Theo's arm. "Well I guess that's to be expected. That we're different, I mean." he said and reached down to touch Theo's sheath.

Theo flinched, surprised at how good it felt to have Aura's paw on his sheath. "Well, how do you go to the bathroom?" Theo asked. Aura used his free hand to guide the paw that Theo had between his legs to his slit, and rubbed his paw over it until he was sure Theo felt the slit.

"It comes out of there," Theo explained.

"What?!" Aura suddenly retracted his paw and rubbed it against his fur, fearing that he might have accidently gotten dragon pee on his paw.

"Wait, I mean like... thats where it hides-" he noticed at the corner of his eye that there was a pink member peeking out from Theo's sheath. "-just like yours hides in your sheath." he giggled.

Theo looked down at himself, and when he saw what was happening he blushed and lifted his knees to hide it, but Aura's arm was in the way, and was petting his sheath, which he liked too much to tell Aura to stop. For reasons that Theo couldn't understand then, he reached down and touched Aura's slit again, which was strangely warmer than the rest of Aura's body, he noticed. Aura didn't know why either, but he also liked having Theo's paw between his legs, and wished they could stay that way all day.

As they curiously and happily rubbed each other, simply enjoying the company of one another, they began to notice that their members were pressing further from their hiding places. They had naturally began to rub one another, until either Aura or Theo paused in realization that their behavior wasn't normal, and thought that even though that they themselves liked it, what if the other didn't?

"I'm sorry, that was strange. I didn't mean to-" Aura finally said, blushing. Theo hugged Aura and rested his head against his shoulder.

"No, keep going... I feel so happy!" he giggled. He reached down and touched the dragon's member and rubbed it gently, and Aura followed, touching Theo's growing cock.

As Theo felt his body warming in pleasure, he instinctively rubbed Aura's dragonhood faster, which in turn caused Aura to do the same. Their muscles soon became weak, and the found themselves laying on the ground, holding each other close as they paw off, their paws exploring their partners' body.

Their tails flicked back and forth as a tingling sensation crawled up their spines and shuddered through their bodies. Theo began whimpering in pleasure as he felt this warm tingling sensation take over his body. A rumbling sound came from deep within Aura, sensually vibrating Theo.

Theo became overcome with pleasure, and yelped as he released his seed between the couple. It came in quick and long spurts, and something about it made Aura give a muffled growl as he too climaxed and sprayed his cum between himself and the fox. The two twitched and slithered against each other, their members throbbing their partners' paw as they came onto each other.

When they were done they froze in place, breathing heavily. Aura pushed himself away from Theo, looking at the mess between them. They gave each other a secret look that they would later discover to be love, but a look that also sealed this secret between them.

Aura stood up and stretched his wings. "Come on, let me take you to where we can clean up." He extended a paw to Theo who took it and stood up, smiling.
