Book 1: The War For Gilneas
Chapter 6, The Captain Of The Dawn,
The Undead soldiers swung at Malderon with their rusty swords, Malderon was able to parry them all with one swing of his warhammer, then using all his might, he pushed the undead soldiers off the ship. "pfft, what a weak fight." after several seconds the undead soldiers started climbing up the side of the ship through the surface of the water. Malderon, using his warhammer like a mallet, hit them one by one in the skull, killing them all instantly, they could not defend for they were using both hands for climbing up the ship.
Malderon smiled with delight at the simplicity it was to kill the soldiers, he then made his way down the ship into the captains quarters where the captain was staring out one of the windows of the ship. Malderon was able to get up close behind him beforethe captain noticed him and said, "I wouldn't if I were you, I knew you were there the entire time." The captain's voice was raspy, it was the voice of a human in decay, "So then why didn't you turn around to fight?" "Because why should I. we both are no longer human, you have more in common with us than you do with the humans, join us, and I will make sure our leader will praise you greatly." "Is that the only thing you can offer me? Praise? I already have it from my king, besides, I have regained my humanity, I must fight for my king... nay... I will fight for my king! and my kin!" "You have not regained your humanity, you only delayed the inevitable, the beast within you will be unleashed, unless you join us, you will kill others, I can see it happening." "And just how can you see all this? You know nothing, today, undead, I shall put you down..." Malderon raised his warhammer high above his head, "Permanantly." Malderon swung down atop the foresaken captain's head, the warhammer squished it like a watermelon. blood splattered across the room, the captain's body fell to the ground with blood still spurting out. Malderon made his way back up to the top of the ship, regretting nothing. He jumped off the side and swam over to the second ship, making sure he would have the element of surprise he quietly climbed up the side of the second ship, he climbed over the top and readied his warhammer in defense from the foresaken.
however for some reason there were no undead soldiers to be found, Malderon cautiously made his way down into the captain's quaters to take out the second captain where he found the captain, dead on the gorund, blood spurting from the open cut that had been made across its neck. Standing beside him, using the same daggers from the rooftop battle with the alpha, was a worgen, staring back at him, furious, and hungry for fresh meat.
