My life as a furry (Answers and Field trips Part 2)
{In Ethan and Danny's tent}
Ethan was drifting to sleep in his sleeping bag while Danny was trying to be quiet and careful not to wake him while he changed into his thick clothed sleepwear. He took of his pants and then his hoody to reveal a T-shirt underneath. (among other things) but when he put the hoody down the zipper tapped Ethan's leg waking him up.
When Danny noticed this he grabbed his hoody, but instead of using it to cover his groin area he covered he upper arms. Ethan found this strange so he tried to get to the bottom of what was going on.
"What's wrong with your arms?" Ethan asked
But he did not answer, so Ethan and his hot headed ways took a different approach. He yanked the hoody away from Danny's arms to discover he had scars going from his elbow to his shoulder. After seeing this Ethan thought 'Those scars look kind of like Ian's scars. Was he cut up too?'
"Dude what happened to you?" Ethan said in shock and sympathy
{Back with Ian and Luan in their tent}
Ian was shivering from the cold and Luan was asleep (at least Ian thought he was) next thing he knew Luan's arms rapped around Ian and pulled him closer. Everything was silent for a few minutes. Ian thought Luan did it in his sleep again but than was proven wrong when he heard his voice.
"Better?" Asked Luan
"W-what?" Stuttered Ian
"Are you warming up now?" Clarified Luan
"Yes thanks." Ian thanked
"Well if it worked I the dorms it should work here right?" Luan Chuckled
"Yea." Ian laughed happy he was facing the other way so he could not see him blushing
[Later that night]
Ian was stirring and talking In his sleep this woke Luan. He looked at the squirming teen, just by looking he could tell he was having a horrible nightmare. Luan shook Ian trying to wake him Ian said one last word before he woke up.
"Why?" Ian asked in a low and broken tone which hurt Luan deeply to hear coming from a friend.
Ian shot up and burst into tears while Luan just gave him a hug and tried to make Ian feel better.
"There there it was just a dream." Luan said softly (Still hugging Ian)
"You ok?" Luan asked
"Yeah I think so." Ian replied
"That dream must have been really bad for you to react like that to it. Wana talk about it?" Luan quizzed
"You sure you want to know?" Asked Ian
"Only if you want to tell me" Luan smiled
"Ok you remember Ray Bradfert right? Ian asked
"Yea that homophobe" Answered Luan
"Well we have a past together, a couple years ago we went to the same middle school in Miami even then he bullied me, well one day while I was walking home he and his friends pulled me into an alley. They held me still while he beat me, I coughed up some blood and his friends dropped me on my ass. Ray went for one last kick and I tripped him and punched him in the face breaking his nose. Then he went psycho and pulled out a switchblade from his pocket and he... he.. Cut up my back." Ian murmured
Ian then took off his shirt and revealed three long scars on his back.(One on the right side of his back going from the bottom of his shoulder blade down to his lower back, one all the way down the middle of his back, and one on the left side going from the bottom of his shoulder blade down to his lower back ending about an inch lower then the first one.
"He was slow to make it more painful for me and then Ethan came and saved me. I said a few words to him and then passed out from the pain and blood loss. I woke up a couple hours later in the hospital. And I was kept there for three weeks. I just relived that in my dreams." Ian continued
"Oh my gods you poor thing I can't believe that ass got away with doing that to you." Luan said Ian stated
"Cops in Miami will overlook anything if you pay them enough." Ian said
"So that's how the slime ball got away with it!" Luan spat
"Yep" Ian said blankly
"Oh I have something for you to use." Luan said before starting to dig through his back pack.
"huh?" Puzzled Ian
Luan pulled out a little dream catcher and put it in Ian's hands.
"May this give you sweet dreams!" Cheered Luan
"You're too sweet!" Chimed Ian
"Try to get some sleep, we have a big day tomorrow." Luan stated
"Ok" Ian said as he got back in his sleeping bag and falls asleep
"Oh Ian, someone as kind as you should never be put through such suffering." Luan said as he brushed the sleeping Ian's hair out of his face
{With Danny and Ethan}
"Did Ray do this to you? Oh he's so dead!" Ethan asked
"How did you know my half-brother did it?" Danny quizzed
"Because he did it to a friend of mine... wait... wait... wait he is your half-brother?" Ethan replied with a question
"As much as it sickens me to say it yes." Replied Danny
"And he still did that to you? For what?" Ethan asked
"Yes, because I'm..." Danny stuttered
"A Homosexual?" Asked Ethan
"H-how did you know?" Danny pondered out loud
"Two reasons, one that's the reason he did it to Ian, two when you hang around gay and bi people as long as I have your gaydar becomes super accurate." Said Ethan
"He did this to him too? Poor Ian." Danny said in almost a whisper
"I'm going to make you an offer you won't want to refuse." Ethan said
"Oh what's that?" Quizzed Danny
"Join our little group of friends." Ethan persuaded
"Why would you want to be my friend?" Danny persisted
"Why not you seem like a good person its hard to find that now a days." Ethan said honestly
"Okay" Danny agreed hesitantly
"Good. One more thing." Ethan put in
"What?" Danny asked
"Please, don't be afraid of me." Ethan answered
Danny nodded and finished getting dressed. He then got in his sleeping bag and fell asleep, Ethan unzipped the tent door and stepped out. After zipping the door back up and walked to Ian and Luan's tent. "Hello are you awake in there?" asked Ethan through the tent door. The door quickly unzipped and Luan stepped out.
"Shhh I just got Ian back to sleep" Luan shushed
"Back?" Ethan quizzed
"He had a bad nightmare." Luan replied
"Damn him even in his dreams he can't get rid of Ray." Ethan spat
"Ian doesn't deserve to be put through this kind of pain." Luan agreed
"I want to... thank you for taking care of him." Ethan said awkwardly
"He is my friend it's only natural" Said Luan
"Yea... I guess." Ethan murmured
"So what's up?" Luan puzzled
"I just found out how cold Ray really is." Ethan Spat
"Huh?" Luan quizzed
"Ray cut up his own younger brother, Danny!" Clarified Ethan
"That bastered, hold up Danny is his brother?" Asked Luan
"Well half-brother" Ethan corrected
"Sill not right."' Luan retorted
[Next day, in camp dinning hall]
"So Danny is Ray's half brother and he still did that to him?" Asked Ian
"Yep" Ethan answered
"That asshole!" Ian spat
"This is an all new low, even for him." Ian continued
"Can I have your attention please?" Asked the camp director (A dingo) trying to get the attention of all the camper's
"Tonight is karaoke night, this event will be held her in the dinning cabin at 8:37, anyone interested can sign up in the camp office, all you need is your name, lot number and the name and artist of the song you are going to sing." Continued the camp director
"That's sounds like fun!" Ian commented
"You wana go?" Luan asked
"Only if you guys are coming to watch." Answered Ian
"Sure why not" Said Luan
"Come to think of it, in all the years I have known you iv never heard you sing. Sure ill go." Ethan agreed
"Hey Ethan, why don't you ask Danny to come as well." Ian put it
"Got it." Ethan replied
"By the way where is Danny?" Asked Luan
"He said he wasn't hungry, he is still in our tent." Ethan answered
"Anyways I got to use the bathroom" Said Ian
"We will be right back." Luan added
"Wait both of you?" Ethan said in a confused tone
"You are always supposed to be with your partner on this trip, you must have forgotten since your not with yours." Ian Teased (In a friendly way)
Ian and Luan walked to the public restrooms that are behind the dinning hall talking about karaoke night. Now in front of the restrooms Ian was about to walk in when he stopped about 2 steps from the door.
"Maybe its just me but wasn't the male restroom sign on the on the other door when we went past here earlier?" Ian asked
"I'm not sure." Luan replied
"Must be my imagination." Ian shrugged
They walked into the restroom to find something that they were half expecting. That this is the women's restroom, two girls (a jackal and a bat) that look about 17 or 18 walk out of separate stalls. Their attention immediately turned toward Ian and Luan.
"Sorry" Both Ian and Luan said at the same time
"Looks like we got our selves some perv's." One of the girls said mockingly (Jackal)
"We should report you to the cop's" right now." The other one said (bat)
"Someone switched the signs on the door, besides we're gay so we are not here for perverted reasons." Ian protested
"Prove it" one of the girls said (bat)
"How?" Asked Ian
"Kiss" Answered the other girl (Jackal)
Ian blushed and looked up at Luan who nodded and bent down a little so he was eye to eye with Ian signifying that it was ok. Luan closed his eyes and Ian did the same, then Ian leaned forward his lips met Luan's. Ian felt Luan's lips part, inviting Ian's tongue to enter, which it did. Their kiss lasted until they were stopped by the girls.
"Ok you proved it, you can stop now." One of them said (bat)
Ian pulled away, he was blushing so hard his face hurt, and he could not help but notice a faint redness in the other males cheeks also.
"Yup their telling the truth, no straight guy would go that far just to prove them selves." One girl said (Jackal)
"I just fixed the signs you should be good to go." The other girl stated (bat)
Ian walked into the men's restroom and relived him self (finally) and washed his hands. Once he was done he walked out of the rest room to find Ethan and Danny with Luan.
"Ethan, Danny, what are you doing here?" Asked Ian
"You guys were taking so long I thought something happed to you two." Ethan replied
"We ran into a snag in the road that's all." Ian convinced
"While we are on this part of camp id like to stop in the camp office and signup for karaoke night." Ian added
"Ok" They all said at once
They walked to the camp office, one there Ian signed the papers.
[Later 8:37pm, in dinning hall @ karaoke night]
Every one was packed in to the dinning hall waiting for the show to start, Luan, Ethan and Danny were sitting at a small table in the front. The camp director walked on the wood platform which acted as the stage with the microphone and began to tap on the end to get everyone's attention.
"Ok first up we have Ian Russo, Ian please take the stage." The camp director said as he handed the microphone to him
"I wana dedicate this song to my best friend Ethan, you have been my friend, and my protector. The song I'm singing is called this song saved my life, and its by Simple Plan." Ian said as the music started
