Dream
For a long time I have been having this dream. Its not very long and kinda out of focus. I guess I don't have my glasses on. I still have it at times, it drives me insane at times. Not saying I'm sane.
I walk through the forest, I think it's a forest could just be deep woods. Anyway I know its cold because I can see my breath in puffs of white. I'm walking down a trail, its dark out.
I come up upon a cabin. It has a big window and a door towards the center and a smaller window near the end. The porch is kind of a wooden platform a few inches off the ground. There is smoke coming out of the chimney. At least I think someone is home. I step onto the porch and open the door and step inside.
I take in the sight of the room. Its kinda sparse couple chairs by the fire place. Table and 3 chairs in the far corner. There are 2 doors in the back wall.
Funny thing about this dream is I could feel the door as I opened it. Feel the warmth of the fire as I entered and could smell everything like the pine trees outside.
Anyway, as I walk inside, I could smell the smoke from the fire, its not very strong, I can also smell someone else. Its male, and for some reason I'm really looking for him.
"Is that you, Mel?" I hear someone call out. Definitely a male voice.
"Yeah its me, I'm home" He comes through the door on the left, And looks at me.
Can't make out much detail at all. I just know that I haven't met him yet.
He looks panicked. "Oh my god what happened?" he starts to move toward me. Everything spins and I hit the floor.
That is the point that I always wake up. Its unlike any dream I've ever had. I think he is the one I am supposed to be with. Wish I could find him. Then I might be happy.
