After the ritual, I thought I was practically dead. I looked around. Nothing but a white background. I started to think about Kailina and the kids, thinking about how they'll feel but then I heard a familiar voice...

"Am I in heaven???" I said.

"No Mark, you've been reincarnated by the Council of Twelve." Hei Bai said.

"Hei Bai?? Is that you??? What do you mean reincarnated???" I said.

"Not now Mark, you must wake up now..." Hei Bai said.

"Hei Bai, answer me...." I yelled.

I woke up and I was in my room once more but something's feels different. Kailina is beside me sleeping while she holds my hand. I looked up to my hand. Wait... my hand. Where's my hand? I have claw now and I'm orange just like a Charizard. I turned my head and I realize I have a long neck, a pair of wings and a red tail flame just like Kronic. And I noticed I have a bullet scar on my chest. Because i moved around to take a good look at myself to try to figure out what is happening, Kailina woke up and saw that I'm awake.

"You're Awake, Mark!" Kailina screamed.

"What happened to me? ... I'm a Charizard..." I asked.

"Calm down honey. Maybe your dad will explain it better than me." Kailina said.

"My Dad?" I said.

"It's good to have you back son..." My dad said.

"I thought you can't speak pokemon..." I asked.

"Yes I can't but it is you are the one who can speak Human just like your kids." He said.

"Oh forget about that... Why am I a Charizard, Dad?" I asked nervously.

"First of all you need to thank Henry for telling me that you're in trouble." He said.

"How did Henry know where I am?" I said.

"He asked me..." Kailina said.

"I thought he cannot speak pokemon just like you." I said.

"I sure can now thanks to a serum I develop months ago without you knowing." Henry said.

I was in a state of shocked when I found out Henry developed a serum without telling me. And it took me a few minutes to understand the whole situation.

"Henry told me that you're going to save Ashley from Team Rocket and according to the prophe..." My dad said.

"Wait you know about the prophecy??" I said.

"Yes, way before Jason came. I'm a Mythologist, son. What do you expect me to do? Wondering around doing nothing... I study about these things. I don't want to tell you because I have a selfish reason just like Kaly. I don't want to lose you." He said.

"But this has nothing to do with me being a Charizard..." I said.

"Oh that's where you're wrong my son. The link between you being a Charizard and the prophecy are closer than you think. Do you remember the prophecy mention?" He said.

"Yes why?" I said.

"It means and the reborn will take place in the pokemon world." He said.

"Speak English?" I said.

"Means you'll reborn as a pokemon." He said.

"Okay... Fine with me but does mom know about this." I said.

"Yes, she does. She'll take it better than I thought. She says she doesn't care what you look like, you'll always be her son." He said.

My heart relieve as I heard that my mom accepted the reality that I'm a pokemon. I didn't expect her to be so acceptable. She's always a Mrs. No but now I feel she's like an accepter, accept any things I've done.

"So now you're a Charizard. You can't go back to the lab to work and we can't take care of you forever. I think you need to find yourselves a place to stay." My dad said

"I already have a place in mind but it's very far away from home." I said.

"It's okay son. Henry can take us to visit you." He said.

"You can't. The place I choose is far from any civilization. I choose it for Kronic and Ashley. Let them had a place to grow up without any interference." I said.

"Okay... where is it?" He asked.

"The Charizard Valley" I said.

"That old place?" Henry said in a state of shock.

"Yes, the environment is better than any place I heard in the world. They had a community named The Blazer similar to the Council of Twelve but they don't have any special powers." I said.

"Anything you choose honey, I'll be satisfied." Kailina said.

"Yea Dad!" Kronic and Ashley yelled in unison.

"Well son. If your family support you so much. I have nothing to say but to support you as well." My dad said.

"So dad, actually how long I've been knocked out?" I asked.

"A week..." He said.

"A week???" I asked

"Yes Mark, you've been out for a week. I resigned your job in the lab and get you your last payment since you can't go back as a pokemon." Henry said.

"That's okay... I'll be moving about two to three months if it's okay with you dad?" I asked.

"No problem Son, actually I thought you'll never ask. Your mom and I are very proud of you. You have a family and kids. I can say no more." My dad said.

"Awww... Dad. Stop it. You're embarrassing me." I said while blushing.

"Okay, whatever you say son, whatever you say..." He said.

Days had passed and I'm starting to get used to my new Charizard body. Now I'm a Charizard, I don't wear clothes anymore but I still tie a scarf around my neck to block the bullet scar. I learned how to use Smokescreen, Dragon breath, use an even more powerful flamethrower and so on. The techniques that I still haven't learned yet are Iron Tail, Fly and Dragon Rage. Today, I finally made up my mind to tell my pokemon of me being a pokemon and see if they want to join my pack when I move to Charizard Valley. "Come out guys." I threw the pokeballs on the floor. Sparky, Farold and Kenneth came out from their balls. After a few seconds, they looked at me with strange stares. "Kailina, who is this?" Kenneth asked. "Yea, Kaly. Who is this???" Both Farold and Sparky asked in unison. "Well, I'd better come ..." I stopped Kailina when she's going to finish the sentence. "It's better if I do it. Okay guys. There's a series of event that happened to me which me myself also having a hard time to believe it and it's a long story. Do you sure you're up to it?". "Of course, why not?" Kenneth answered. "Well, first of all, you can call me by my name like usual." "What do you mean like usual, we don't even know you." Farold replied. "Farold, he's Mark." Kailina explained. "WHAT!!?" Those three shout in unison. As this goes on. I explained to them the whole story, about how Ashley was caught, how I got my power before turning into a Charizard, how I'd get killed by Giovanni and how'd I become a Charizard which I don't really knows how it happened.

"I'm moving out in just two months. So you guys can choose to be free or you can join my pack when I move to Charizard Valley under some conditions." I asked them.

"We all will follow..." All my pokemon said in unison.

"No...Farold, you should be free since you're the boy who followed me the longest. Sparky should be free too. And Kenneth, I hate to say this but you need to stay. It's time to you guys to find a mate too, you all are getting older and older. Anyway Mom and dad need protection too." I convinced.

"Master Mar..." Kenneth said.

"I'm no longer your master Kenneth. I'm just an ordinary pokemon like you." I said.

"Well, Mark. I'll join you because mate is not a problem for me." He said.

"And why is that?" I asked.

"Because I already have a mate." He said.

"WHAT!!? When did it happen???" I said.

"A few months ago, I met a gorgeous Dragonite and her name is June because she's born in 15th of June." Kenneth said.

"Is it the time I let you free for couple of hours and you gimme something I want in return?" I asked

"Yes, I saw her in a forest. I'll go tell her now..." Kenneth ran and took off to fetch June.

"Well Farold, you should probably stay with my parents to ensure their safety and Sparky..." I said.

"Yea???" Sparky replied.

"I'll place you in Casey's care until you found a mate then you'll be release to the wild."

"But I don't want to go..." He said.

"No buts. You get caught by me at a very young age. You should head back to see if your family's still searching for you a not." I said.

"Okay....." Sparky said in a sad tone.

After that, a gust of wind blown towards us as June and Kenneth land in front of us. June was indeed gorgeous. Except Kailina, she's the most beautiful Dragonite I've ever seen. Kailina give me a hit on my shoulder when she saw me stared at June like that.

"Sorry honey, get distracted." I said.

"You better stop doing it." She said when she hit me again.

"Okay honey." I said, rubbing the place she hit me.

"Guys, I want you to meet June." Kenneth said.

"Thank you very much for letting us to join your pack to Charizard Valley." June said.

"It's not a problem but I do have one condition." I said

"And what is that???" Kenneth asked me.

"You must find your own cave. Can't have you bump into the middle of our little activity can we???" I wrapped my hand along Kailina's waist when I said that.

"You dog. Mark. Getting me to join you pack just for accompany you with the rest of my life." Kenneth yelled and the others laugh.

"Don't get me wrong Kenneth. I ju-.." I said.

"I'm joking Mark...Don't take it seriously." He cut me off.

"Okay..." I said.

Weeks after weeks, we've stayed in Violet City. Sparky is getting along with my younger brother, Casey. Henry invented a communicator and he gives it to my parents in order to let them to have the ability to understand Farold and Farold don't seem to hate him anymore; they're getting along quite well. Yesterday, I received a mail said that Jenny, My high school friend is coming to visit me today at five in the evening. This is the point is where I get a little bit worried to let her know that I'm a Charizard and what happened to me.

"Honey, Jenny is coming at five in the evening.... She can't see me like this... She'll freak and probably won't even contact me anymore." I said.

"Calm down, sweetie. It won't be that bad. I know Jenny's your high school friend, so maybe she'll take it easier." Kailina said.

"I know but..." I said.

"Just take it easy" She comforts me.

"Maybe I can ask Henry to help me. He knows her better than me." I suggested.

"Yea Sweetie, maybe you should." She said.

I concentrate my mind, clearing everything but only focus on contact Hei Bai using my mind. "Hei Bai, can you bring Henry along to my house at 4.30 in the evening? Aww, never mind. Just bring him to me now please." I said to Hei Bai. Within a few minutes, Hei Bai and Henry appear in a white sphere. I snapped back to reality and quickly ran to Henry.

"Hey bud listen, here's the thing. Jenny is coming over at five this evening. Can you help me because... well..." I said.

"It's okay, what're friends for." Henry said.

"Thanks bud. I owe you, Big time." I said.

"No problemo." He said.

At five in the evening, Jenny arrived. She wore light violet T-shirt, violet jacket and skirts, white shoes and a dark violet headband. She came in when Henry when to greet her. She noticed something's wrong. I wasn't around. She turned to Henry and started to ask questions.

"Uhh Henry, where's Mark? I mailed him a letter and said I'll be here around five in the evening." Jenny asked.

"Err....He's kinda busy..." Henry answered

"Well, what's he doing all this years???" Jenny asked impatiently.

"We work at a research lab just down the street but Mark quitted the job and decided to become a trainer again." Henry said.

"Just like I thought... He can't stay for a job for a long time can he?" Jenny said.

"No, no. He works at the lab since he was 18. It's been 3 years from the day we start working together. He quitted because he have some personal business..." Henry said.

"Does he have to say that..." I thought to myself as I'm hiding.

"Well, where's Kailina... I wanted to meet her, wonder how old she is?" Jenny said.

"Kally, I think that's your cue" I whisper to Kailina and she nodded.

She walks out from the kitchen and saw Jenny. She walked towards her and let her have a good look at her.

"So you're Mark's Charizard, Kailina huh." Jenny said and Kailina nodded.

"Let me see... Graceful proportion, wings and body... fit enough, legs a bit thin." Kailina growl at her. She takes a step back and continues to inspect her.

"Well... All and all. A fine young dragon. How old is she Henry if you don't mind I ask?" Jenny asked.

"How old are you Kailina?" Henry asked Kailina.

"Three" Kailina replied.

"Wait, you can speak pokemon?" Jenny asked confusedly.

"Yes, thanks to a serum I developed." Henry explained.

"Ohh, so how old is she?" Jenny asked again.

"She's three years old." Henry said.

"Younger than I expected. Well I waited long enough. Mark! You better show up or else you'll pay." Jenny Said "Alright! Alright! I'm here. Don't get mad..." I said to try to calm her down but it seems to be not working.

"You....you're talking, but you can't talk... You're a pokemon. Who are you and what did you do to Mark?" She yelled.

"I am Mark." I said.

"NO. You're lying. Mark isn't a pokemon." She yelled again.

"Maybe I'll be and assistant to explain..." My dad walked in the front door.

"You must be Mr. Wong, Mark's father." She said.

"Indeed I am but just call me David. This Charizard here is indeed my son. He got himself killed a while ago when he confront Giovanni. The Council of twelve revived him but he's reborn as a Charizard." My dad said.

"Okay... No an explanation I was looking for but how is it possible." Jenny said.

"Come sit down and I'll explained it to you." My dad said.

My dad explained to Jenny and she stayed until nine in the evening, then she went back. I was so nervous that she'll freak, I don't know what else to do. Maybe this is how it works... A life as a pokemon.
