#2 of Exploration

It was a very busy week. My job was busy, for it was nearing one of the public holidays where everyone went and enjoyed bargains and discounts, so I had to concentrate on the work, rather than give spare attention to my holiday encounter. In all honesty, it was probably better that way, because if I had been, someone would have spotted my preoccupied expression. I worked four days a week, only a part time job, and I had Saturday, Sunday and Monday all off. This I had mentioned to Draco just before he had teleported back to Central, and they were coming this Saturday.

I had packed my day bag with essentials. A jacket, for the cold and wet, food and water, a machete, for they had not given any clues about the terrain, and a jungle environment would be difficult going. I also had a .303 rifle, which I slung across my back. For those who are unaware, I did have a firearms license. It was a great shock to all those who first met me, this guy can actually use a gun legally?

I also, in case the climate was hot and desert like, had tinted black sunglasses, which I was currently wearing, a large brimmed khaki hat, and a belt around my black trousers. I was wearing a T-shirt, again in my favourite colour, and combat boots, which were designed with anything in mind. In the side pocket of the bag, I had a notebook, for writing down notes about the different planets I would visit, and a four colour pen.

I got the arrival warning at nine o'clock, and went and stood in the living room of my small flat. Only I lived in this flat, and it was a reasonably tidy place. The floor was almost spotless, the remnants of some game, and the invisible shards of glass from the broken window from two weeks ago that I had never found.I waited, reading another book. I had a thing for writing and reading, and this book was apt, for it contained a reference of a species of creature that disappeared from one place, and reappeared in another. I finished the third page as the centre of the room began to glow faintly. Then there was a bang, and Simba and Draco appeared in front of me.

No matter how many times they do it, I will never get used to the sudden arrival of a dragon and a cross between a human and a tiger. I flinched outwardly as they arrived, but they didn't notice this.I smiled.

"Welcome to my humble abode. The techs find the problem, Simba?"

"They did Raptormaster. One of the circuits was defecting. It works perfectly. Now, are you ready?"

"For the past eight hours." I stood, shouldering my back pack, and shifting my rifle to one shoulder. Draco looked at my equipment.

"You did come prepared."

"Method of defence, method of recording, food, water, and a way of keeping me warm if it's cold."

"Hark, he thinks of everything. And the sword?"

"It's a machete."

Apparently they had heard of the tool, and they bid me come over to them. I did so, and Simba took my outstretched hand. Then he pressed a button, and the world went dark. I felt like something immensely powerful, like a clamp, was holding my entire body, and I felt my body straining against the sensation. Draco and Simba had their eyes closed, and I followed suit. There was about half a minute of the sensation, and of being carried through air, and then suddenly we were all thrown forward as we arrived at our destination. I only just managed to keep my balance, and looked around.

We were in a building, all made out of steel or some other metallic compound. It was a circular room, about five metres in width, and completely featureless.A corridor headed away and a came to a T. junction directly in front of us. As I moved, a creature came around the corner.

Actually, calling it a creature was a bit wrong. What it was was a glowing oval ball of light, about two metres in height. They shone a brilliant yellow, much like the sun, but seemed incapable of physical form. It drifted across the ground, it did not walk, and came up to us. It did have ways of communication, because it spoke to the three of us.It's voice was silky, and smooth, serene.

"Ah, so this is the creature you were talking about. How most interesting." the thing said."I have never seen one before."

"Yes, Glower," this was the translation from the actual name into English from Draco," he volunteered many things, and we felt he was the right sort."

"Indeed. His manner and look agrees. He is not scared easily, more curious. What is your name, human?"

I gave a slight bow to the spirit. "People call me Raptormaster, Glower."

"What a long and peculiar name.Is that your first name, or your last?"

"It is my last name, my first is Alduin."

"Then Alduin you shall be.You are to visit the unknown planet with your companions?"

"Yes, Glower, but they mentioned I should come here for a few things."

Draco nodded." He cannot breathe all types of air, so we came to get the surgery done here." the tiger nodded at the dragon?s words.

"Come." the luminescent creature appeared to turn, and we followed him/her through a series of corridors, and past many doors, before the creature stopped outside a plain metal door.

"Go through. The process will not take long."

Draco opened the door, and we went inside.

This room was not bare. There was an operating table in the centre, and a multi armed and legged creature stood by it.It was vaguely insect like from behind. It wasn't expecting us, and turned in slight surprise.

That almost made me back away, for what was there was indeed what was, essentially a giant spider. In fact, it was a giant spider. It stood on it's rear four legs, and held implements in the remaining four arms. Draco went to him warmly.

"Arachno, good to see you." he said in his sibilant voice. Simba whispered.

"Arachno is one of the best surgeons in Central.Don?t let the looks scare you."

"They haven't."

"Good."

"They terrify me. I've seen things like him in horror movies." Simba smiled.

Arachno hadn't heard all this.

"Draco,"it clicked," good to see you. How is the arm?"

"Perfect."Draco demonstrated, flexing his arm back and forth." The plates held naturally until the bones had healed."

"Well, I have dealt with shattered bones before. Even recently, I had to heal a stallion's leg who had fallen down a crevasse on Telerhteba. His left fibia on it's own was in fifteen pieces." the spider turned several eyes on me. "Who is this?"

"Alduin, from ZZ987."

"Ah." the spider nodded." They are called humans, correct?"

"Yes.He's here for a ABM."

"He's joined you on the scouting, has he?"

"First time, and we can't send him into a silicate atmosphere without apparatus. Or any atmosphere." Simba replied.

"I see." The spider gestured to me." It will take about ten minutes, Alduin. You will have to lie down here, and I will give you something to knock you out. It's comparatively painless."

This was, all of a sudden, not sounding quite as rosy as before.

"Compared to what?" I said warily, my feet light on the ground.

"Well, compared to breaking one bone in fifteen places. Draco's was in ten, but he wouldn't fall asleep, so I operated while he was awake."

Arachno sidled to the head of the operating table, and I lay carefully down on the hard surface. Arachno pulled something from underneath the table, a drawer or something, and came up with a glass of amber liquid.

"Swallow this."

I took the glass, and drunk it. It was terrible to taste, but Draco took the glass from my hand as soon as I had finished it.As he did, the world seemed to blur, and become dark. I was light as a feather, falling through nothingness...

I woke. Arachno was looking over me. I gave a cry, and rolled off the bed, landing crouched. One of the worst things to see when you've just awoken was a giant spider above you. Arachno started fiddling with one of his tools.

"He's quick on his feet, granted."

Draco was laughing merrily, standing behind me.

"Nice move, Alduin. I've seen people attack him before after an operation."

"Sorry." I muttered, standing again.

Arachno nodded." There were no problems. You can now breathe in any conditions, any variation of air."

I bowed."Thank you very much."

"Not at all, Alduin."

Simba led me out of the surgery room.He was smiling

"Well done, Alduin."

"I don't feel any different."

"Of course you don't. That's the whole point. Now, we have a planet to visit."

Draco caught up with us after a minute, and we headed back towards our entry room. No one seemed to be about, it was all rather quiet. when we came to the room, we stood, Simba holding my hand.Draco was holding Simba's arm, and he pressed the button.

Again, that nasty feeling. Again the sense of being carried, and the way we seemed to slam into the ground, and yet with little movement. I was looking down, and I saw grass.Lots of long, overgrown grass. Then I looked up.

It was a jungle. Thick, gnarly trees grew everywhere, making it practically impassable. Vines hung everywhere, and branches hung down. We were in the middle of a small clearing, barely three metres across, but everywhere else was thick with foliage. I looked up, into a red sky, with three small, red suns. It was quite hot, I was sweating already. Draco looked around.

"Interesting. Although the place seems deserted." this was true," Highly dense jungle, a very high concentration of carbon dioxide. Just as well you had that ABM fitted, or you'd be choking right now."

That was true enough as well. I felt no different, but the air felt different. Draco looked around, looking for a way through the bush.

"Alduin, we'll head this way. Let's see how you get past this sort of thing."I sighed, suppressing a slight chuckle.

I drew my machete and walked to point, and tested the vine in front of me. It was reasonably thick, and quite flexible. I brought the machete down, and cleanly chopped the vine in half, both ends falling away. Forging my way ahead, Draco and Simba followed. They were observing everything, and Simba had drawn his own notebook, and was speaking aloud what he wrote.

"New planet, name unknown. Atmosphere, mostly carbon dioxide structure.Gravity, about .9 to standard. Landscape, this area is all jungle, which explains the CO2 levels. No life about, save for the trees. The trees are large, suggesting the ground is nutrient rich. The sky is red, lit by a triple sun system, and consequently the air is hot and humid."

We fought our way through the forest for a good two hours, and then stopped for a break. The surprising thing was that we still had seen no creature, whether large or small. We sat down, and started to eat. I had a few sandwiches I had thrown together, and ate them with rapidity, for I had been fairly hungry. Draco and Simba were eating some kind of meat, but I didn't know which. I drunk about a third of my water bottle, and then packed back up. We were sitting in a surprisingly large clearing, a good ten metres in width, and the ground was almost devoid of grass. It seemed very unnatural. I walked around the clearing experimentally, hoping to find something apart from trees. I got across the clearing, and then looked back.

If anything scared me most right then, it was the fact my companions were unaware. Right behind them was a long tentacle. It was a dark green, blending easily with the vines, and had been curled around a tree. It was uncurling, and moving directly towards the dragon. I grabbed my rifle off my shoulder, and shouted.

"Draco! Look out!"

He turned, and at that moment the tentacle sprung towards him, moving incredibly fast.It wrapped around his arm twice, and pulled on him. Simba pulled Draco away, and the tug of war was fairly even. I fired the rifle. The sharp crack and the smell of gunpowder was sickening, but I saw that I had hit the target.I had severed the tentacle, and the stump was disappearing into the ground. The bit still wrapped around Draco uncurled, fell to the ground, and dug itself into the soil.

"It's got regenerative powers." Draco shouted." We need to get out of here."

Too late. A group of tentacles sprung out from the ground.Three of them went for the dragon, two for the tiger. I fired again, blasting one that had the dragon around the neck. I reloaded, and fired again. as I did, a tentacle erupted from the ground, and knocked the gun upwards. The bullet went zinging into the trees.I swung the butt of the rifle around, and whacked the tentacle with it. It wrapped itself around the rifle, and with incredible strength ripped it from my grasp. I drew my machete.

"This is Not Good!" I shouted. The dragon had drawn a dagger, and was battling one that had his leg, and Simba was busy struggling against one on his arm. I slashed at the tentacle, and successfully severed it. It disappeared into the ground, and then three more appeared, on all sides of me. I dodged one, the second knocked the machete out of my hand, and the third picked me up. Then it threw me. I remember sailing through the air to the left of Simba, with a tree coming right at me. I hoped it wasn't going to hurt.

It did.I slammed against it like a rag doll. I felt my right arm break against the tree, and several of my ribs snapped like branches. I fell to the ground, vaguely conscious. I was completely powerless, all my motor functions had shut down. I was looking at my companions, and watched as Simba was also thrown against a tree, but not as far as I had been thrown, and he slumped. Draco had so many tentacles on him that he was equally powerless. About eight or nine had him. Two around his legs, two around his arms, three around his chest, and one hovering above him, as if surveying him.

I watched as Simba was taken hold of by two more tentacles, and dragged out of my sight. Then my turn came, and tentacles sprung out from the ground, securing my body. I could feel two squeezing my shattered rib cage, one on each of my legs, and as one did I realised my right leg had been dislocated. Only one went for my arms, as if knowing my other was broken. Then it lifted me in the air, and the bits of body not held up went limp. My head fell backwards, looking at an upside down world. It seemed so unfair that I was about to die.

But I didn't. Draco let out a muffled cry, and I forced my sore neck to turn. Draco's hovering tentacle had just plunged into Draco's mouth. I remembered one of my own stories, and almost could have laughed, if I had the breath or the situation wasn't so perilous.I managed to shout at the dragon.

"Don't struggle! They want to have sex with us!"

Not my most rational thought, admittedly. But Draco relaxed at my words. I hung grotesquely awaiting a similar fate, and it came. A tentacle arrived from the ground, hanging directly in front of my face, obscuring my view of the dragon. It seemed to be contemplating something. I opened my mouth slightly, and it seemed to read my action as a type of co-operation.It gently came forwards, and firmly entered my mouth, going deep into my mouth to my throat.

The tentacles had one other thing. As the ritualistic thrusting began, they began to exude a type of pheronome. The smell of it was incredibly overpowering, and all my senses started to relax. All the pain I was feeling became numbed, my sense of taste, hearing, touch and sight was dimmed, and all I could do was smell the enchanting smell.

But as I started to sink into blessed relief, I was aware of a pulling sensation on my hips. A tentacle was trying to remove my garments. I lifted my hand, moving it towards the clasp holding my trousers up. The tentacle around my arm understood my purpose, and lifted my arm towards it.My single hand fumbled with the clip, but it came loose, and I let my hand fall again, and I felt my lower garments slide down my legs, and then falling off altogether. As they did so, the tentacles around my legs shifted position and grabbed hold of my naked legs. Before my sense of touch slipped away, I felt a second tentacle enter my anus. I gasped, and struggled slightly.

In a sort of half dream, the tentacles raped me,and I could feel them sliding back and forth across my body. I was slightly aware of one of them occasionally cumming, a series of bursts of semen falling on my body, and inside my body as well. Then they would change position, as if there was a organized line. The one in my mouth would swap places with the one around my arm, and so on. I lost count of the number that had their wicked way with me, after the first dozen. I idly wondered in my cotton wool feeling, how many tentacles this, or these monsters had.

Apparently they had a lot. The suns were setting and the landscape was darkening when I was aware that no tentacle was fucking my mouth. My taste buds were tasting the slightly acrid cum, and I found I was breathing naturally, no pressure in my mouth. My anus was still being abused, but this stopped about ten minutes after this original realisation. Then the tentacles lowered me onto the ground, and then disappeared. I didn?t have the strength to move, and immediately fell asleep.

I woke. The pink bubble of happiness I had been in had popped, and my body was screaming agony in a thousand different places. I could move, but only slowly. I lifted my head, that would be enough for the moment, and looked around the clearing. Simba was across the clearing, where I had initially been, and was covered in thin ropes of white, obviously he had been ejaculated on several times. I saw Draco, and he likewise was covered in the organic ropes of semen. Both of them were asleep, or unconscious. I looked at myself. I had suffered the same fate, my body was plastered with the sticky, white fluid. I looked like I had been through a million of Arachno's webs.

I decided to test my strength, and tried to lever myself to my feet. In the end I had to pull myself up with a tree, but soon I was standing, swaying in astonishment.I staggered over to Draco, his face a rictus of pain, and one arm hanging in a funny direction. My rifle lay beside him, and I one handedly pulled it over my good shoulder. Then I shook Draco gently. He woke instantly, and his look at me was one of fright, but his face rearranged, and he managed a half smile.

"You look terrible."

"I look terrible? I won?t even start on what you look like. All in one piece?"

"No. My arm's dislocated.I saw you were thrown, how are you?"

"I'm completely broken. My right arm's broken, so are a few ribs, the rest is pain."

"Simba?"

"I was going to check on him after you."

"So those tentacles, all they wanted was pleasure."

"Afraid so.We're all covered in the stuff."I moved my unbroken hand, wiping a few ropes of cum from my face, and then wiped it on a tree.

Draco got to his feet, and while I found my machete, got Simba round. Simba had both his legs broken, and was unable to stand. I retrieved all of our clothing, and we slowly dressed. We had all been stripped by the tentacles, except for our shirts, probably because they didn't need to.There was an unhurried half of hour of redressing, and Simba brought out his notebook.

"Met one type of life form."he wrote and spoke,"a tentacle creature, with the power of instant regeneration. It burrows through the ground, and can ambush an unwary traveller. The tentacles are all made to deliver cum, and once they had overpowered us, proceeded to have sex with us. This is possibly it's only purpose in life, and it seems to enjoy itself thoroughly in that purpose, which no thought for those in it's grasp. All of us were injured as a result of the attacks, and thus we returned back to Central."

Draco nodded, and grabbed hold of both me and Simba. Simba touched the button of the teleporter, and we felt the now familiar sensation of being thrown across galaxies. After another half a minute of void, we arrived in another silver room. Within half a minute, another glower appeared. The purpose of the glowers was that they were in charge of Central, and monitored people coming in and out, directing teleportation to different chambers, so no one would collide with another group. They also sent groups to certain planets, depending on the mission. The glower came into the brightly lit room, and actually displayed emotion, stark shock. It's light changed colour slightly, and it dimmed.

"What happened to you?"

"A very long story, Glower." Draco replied."We will explain, but not right now. Where is Arachno?"

"He's in his surgical room.I will show you there."

"Good. Alduin, give me a hand with Simba."

I took Simba's left side, and my hand took his around my back, and the two of us lifted Simba up. Draco took a lot of the weight, and we staggered after the Glower. He seemed to be talking to something else invisible.

"They've arrived badly injured, we need Dr Arachno ready, and we will need food and drink, for they looked famished.Yes, yes. Also, can we have a biologist up here, for they are covered with bio-organic ropes of something."

I looked at Draco, who gestured with his head. I spoke to the Glower.

"Some type of creature came out of the ground, and, "I tried to find the gentlest way of describing what happened," had i'?s wicked way with us." I smiled. The glower pulsed in uncertainty.

"So..."

"Yes, this is all semen. There was either one, with many, many tentacles, or we were ambushed by a group of them."

By now we had arrived at Arachno's room, and we entered. Arachno was looking nothing short of amazed.

"What on Central happened to you three?"

"We were attacked by a rapacious, sexually hungry, tentacle monster. We tried to resist, and look what happened." Draco was practically laughing at this last statement from me. I could almost see the spider being's features re-arrange, as though Draco had been inhaling some sort of laughing gas.

Treating all three of us took two more doctors, although I wasn't aware of that. Arachno gave me another glass of liquid. I spent three hours under this anaesthetic, and woke on some type of stretcher. As I sat back up, I saw my body was naked, and that my body had been cleaned of the ropes. My skin was unblemished, and yet my body felt perfectly fine, although there was some phantom pain for a few minutes. Arachno entered.

"Ah, my young charge."

"How am I?"

"Well, six of your ribs were broken, as well as your right arm, in five places. What ever threw you did so with exceptional force. But we had a new type of healing, where the bones are subjected to special rays, and they knit together in about ten minutes, compared to the usual six weeks. It took three hours to get all of your bones back together, but you should be fine now." he lectured. I lay back down.

"And the others?"

"Draco was fine, we just had to jostle his arm back into position. He's talking to a bunch of glowers at the moments, explaining your adventures.Simba took a while to fix, but he's in one piece too."

"Thank you, Doctor."

"Not at all, Alduin. Draco seemed especially complimentary of you, fighting it til it threw you into a tree."

"I did my best. Anyone else would have done the same." I replied modestly.

Draco arrived back about half an hour after I had awoken.

"We are to be rested for a few weeks. A special squad are to be sent to the planet, to try and locate the tentacle creature, and communicate with it."

"I see."

"But nevertheless, I shall visit you on Monday. The glowers decided to send you back to your planet for rest."

"I see.Could I just say something about those tentacles?"

"Yes?"

"You guys do it a whole lot better."

"I?ll keep that in mind for Monday.I?m afraid this probably wasn?t your best introduction to exploration."

"Actually, I thought it was fairly hands on." I grinned." Actually it was hands on, clothes off, and...stop laughing!" I joined in Draco?s merriment. He went to check on Simba. I lay back down, and went to sleep.
