#5 of Poke-Treat 2

If you ignore the stress from life, I would say I have been plain lazy, but I can't ignore it. Despite that I also had that dreaded WB symptom that stopped me halfway through. With anyluck I'll be able to pop the next chapter out like a dolphin giving birth... so yeah... some foul language so hide your virgin ears and eyes. Also it's a tad sugestive at the end. Oh and a major tip to my fellow writers... don't try to finish a story buzzed and tired... bad spelling is involved, I am hoping spell check caught everything, if not, I'll fix it when I wake up.

G'night all ^^

_ HAND OVER THE QUEEN _

"Over my dead body." Jason growled and gripped the hilt harder and spread his legs a little to allow him to dodge whatever attack may come.

The metal-man hissed as pneumatics activated and the crossbow shifted and fired a bolt of white at its target. Jason swung at the missile and deflected the thing to the floor. It sizzled as though it was nothing but electrical energy. Zaps rushed over, grabbed Sam up, and dragged him to safety, and then he came to Jason's side. Between the two of them, deflecting blows from the crossbow was easy enough, but as soon as the other arm rose to reveal a small RPG launcher, they screamed out to evacuate the building. People and Pokagon scattered as the machine fired one grenade at the two warriors. Zaps, not knowing what the missile was, prepared to slice the object while Jason transformed quickly and covered the steel shrouded Raichu. The grenade slammed into the rock hard shell and exploded, Jason howled in pain but survived to flee.

He went to Sam and picked the limp form up to carry him to safety while Zaps protected Marsha. They fled the building just as the local police began to show up and ready their more modern firearms. One cop dressed in a shrapnel retardant suit, raised his own Rocket Propelled Grenade launcher and waited for the device that was slowly showing itself. He hissed something to his superior that made Officer Jenny scowl. He launched one off just as the device began to raise its arms to fire upon the crowd. The missile missed the main mark but Lady Luck had it strike the opposing launcher. Multiple explosions and hisses sounded, when the smoke and fireball cleared some, everyone saw that half of the machine had been blown off. It attempted to hop forward but managed to fall forward with the crossbow aimed at the police. They saw the crossbow trigger swing back but, as breathes were held, nothing came from the contraption.

Another round from the cop's launcher was sent at the face. The screech of metal being ripped away made a few cringe.

Shrapnel recoiled off the shattered building back at the crowd, the largest of pieces slid to a halt at arms reach of the police line. The crowd sighed with relief even as the dust settled and showed the broken remains of the machine. Jason sheathed his blade then turned to the Raichu who still held a protective stance over Sam.

"How is he?"

"Out cold. I could use assistance with him."

"See to it. I doubt we are fully out of danger, so stay alert. Marsha, come with me."

They went over to the cops and drew the attention to Officer Jenny. Jason introduced them then asked Jenny to protect Marsha while he scoured the evacuees for Lisa. Jenny asked why she should protect this shrouded figure, in response; Marsha pulled her hood back enough to reveal her muzzle. Jenny growled when she saw it.

"You want me to protect a nut in a suit?"

Jason huffed a laugh, "Suit... right..."

"I am the Queen that machine was after, madam, and I am no false Suicune. The one the one in the armor is my personal guard whom is now looking after my only son. I agree with this young man here that you and your kin should protect me while these two cannot at this time. If you wish me to be demanding, I so shall be." Marsha growled to emphasize her explanation, which caused a slight frosty mist to funnel out of the hood.

Jenny started to retort when a 'giant' pink fluff ball teleported in with a Trainer at her side.

"Lady Marsha!" May shouted as the two arrivals came to the Queen. "How is little Sammy? I can't feel him any more." The Espeon Morph looked as though she had been crying, as her facial fur was damp and matted.

"Zap's looking after him." Jason said quietly. "And why are you flaunting about? I thought we all agreed that you all should be covered when in public."

"May, go find him, I will explain this." Human May brushed the Espeon's shoulder.

The Espeon nodded then went quickly for her age to the Raichu Morph.

"Jason, she felt him go down, I could not stop her from leaving so I told her to take me along considering I am technically her Trainer and all."

"Still, this could raise questions that we cannot answer."

"Maybe not you." Marsha swung her hood back completely and allowed her ears to stand properly. "So much better. Go find your daughter and son-in-blood. May will look after me better than this human will."

Jason smiled. "As you wish. Be safe."

Jason turned and left the females. He went to the Pokèmon that stared at the building in silence, but most of them were Chanseys and Blisseys. He asked where the others were, one Blissey pointed to the road where several aids tended to the injured.

"Where is Joy?"

That question got a wail from the small group. Jason sighed.

"Thank you, I will find her and pray that she found a place safe to hide. Has anyone seen the Lucario Trainer while I am here?"

"Two Lucarios were with her." A voice from within the group said quietly.

"I will find them."

He turned and started to shift, his clothes ripped as his body changed, and all sounds around him faded to awed silence as he finally completed. He went to the machine and drug what was left out of the building then spewed water onto the small fires that had sprung up. Then he entered.

The place was destroyed; the front desk had been splintered from the wall coming down upon it. But from what Jason could tell, the integrity of the building would last. He cleared rubble large enough to kill someone and found no bodies. He moved on to the next room carefully moving, again he moved debris and found nothing until he came to the access door to the basement.

He went down, barely, to the lower level. Here the sight was far from perfect: cabinets knocked over, a support beam bent slightly (which he attempted to bend back into place and made it slightly better), there was even a cracked wall. But that was not what captured his eye after fixing the beam, a blue and black arm was sticking out of a partially opened door and actively attempting to unblock it.

Jason rushed over and stood the five-drawer file cabinet up, he noticed it was full yet he barely noticed the weight. He back away as the door swung open and a male Lucario toppled out. He caught the surprised male then hugged him.

"Jason!"

"Where are Lisa and Joy?"

"Both are hurt. Lisa has a broken leg; Joy is pinned and not responsive."

"Let's get them out of here."

"Right. What happened? After the alarm sounded, Joy sent us through a trap door that lead us down here, and then explosions rattled everything and trapped us."

"You'll see once you are outside."

Adrian whimpered as he followed Jason to carry out the wounded. Jason cradled Nurse Joy while Adrian carried his mate. They went slowly, dodging debris but making it to the surface to face the total damage. As soon as they emerged, assistants crowed them and took Joy from Jason's arms. Adrian growled furiously at the humans and Pokèmon that left him carrying his Trainer. Lisa smacked his jaw then told him to follow the assistants.

Jason shook his head as the two moved off, he briefly glanced over himself then growled lightly. He had only one set of clothing with him. He decided to follow his charges and assist in the healing of the wounded. His blood was only needed for Joy, though, which he gladly performed small ritual to heal her so she could continue her own work.

Media crews soon surrounded the area, and focused on him and Zaps as they worked with the medical teams with the heavier lifting. Jason turned to the cameras still in Shingeno form and attempted to shoo them away, which only made matters worse. Especially when Lisa hobbled up to block their path in a splint.

"You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Someone attacked a hospital and all you can think about is the next big story? Put down that crap and help clean up." Lisa turned away from them briefly. "And leave my father alone. He is working."

Only a small few did as she demanded, she growled but said no more as she went back to check on Sam. It was not until Zapperiah became angry did the media actually began to cooperate. He stormed up to them dragging with him an over eager photographer. He growled as he threw the journalist along the ground then removed his helmet, his cheeks crackled with power as he vented his anger at them.

"You all should have listened to Lady Lisa. Be glad I have been ordered by my command not to fry your asses here and now. You want a fucking story? Use this: Media lays down weapons of trade to assist those in need. Now get your tailless hides in there. You males should be ashamed especially for letting all of those females do the work!" To emphasize his meaning he let out a large bolt of electricity at the ground. He stormed back to Shingeno's side and grumbled to himself.

After a moment, the turtle chuckled. "I think you made them crap their pants. Marsha and Sam will be mad at you for doing that, you know?"

"I do not care, when it comes to the Prince's safety, I shall do what I must."

"Still a bad time to let the mouse out of the bag." The turtle guffawed then rolled the infirm Onix he was assisting with. "Hey, where did Officer Jenny go? She and Marsha was right there at the machine."

A second later, several blares of gunshots went off. He and Zaps went after the shots, swords in paw. They entered the building to find Jenny hovering over a frightened Marsha with two dead men in what appeared to be ninja suits. Jenny scoffed then turned to the newcomers quickly aiming her gun at them then lowering it as soon as they were found as allies.

"Aí at Ba'teese. They are behind this? Crap!" The others looked at Zaps as he kicked one of the corpses. "Better make sure they are truly dead."

Zaps quickly slammed his blade through the necks and decapitated both bodies.

"They have more human than 'mon in them, basically super humans. Nasty regenerative abilities allow them to fake death until fully healed. Taking the head is the only way to make sure they will not raise again. My Queen, are you well?"

"I am. Thank you. But you do know that the Ba'teese will come in force now that you have shown yourself."

"I do not think I have any factor in that, they came for you. They knew you were going to be here. Someone at base or at home is a spy."

"Unfortunately, Zaps, I agree. We have spies among us. Where did May go?"

********************

Later that day, once all had calmed down and heads had been counted, the victims gathered at the makeshift PokèCenter at the community building and were enjoying a quiet meal giving by the local restaurants. Jason had found the opportunity to change back and had found a set of clothes that fit loosely on him. Lisa, along with her traveling crew, ate close by and talked quietly amongst themselves discussing traveling issues. While Zaps, Marsha, and the two Mays told half-true stories to the younger children and Pokèmon.

Jason had found May holding her own against two other Aí at Ba'teese and just barely assisted her as she knocked out the two of them. She whimpered about hurting her ankle again afterwards. Together, they bound up the men and hauled them out to be arrested.

Jason was rather quiet during the meal and afterwards he made his way back to the cot where Sam laid. He still was not conscious, but at least he responded to the various actions the nurses were doing to him. Jason sat close him and thought deeply upon using his blood to awaken him, but he did not know how much the Suicune was injured. From what the nurses told, him was that he suffered from a mild concussion on top of a few stress fractures along his jaw. He figured they were hiding something else, especially when they kept the I.V. bag full and put a syringe full of painkillers in the line every so often. After an hour of solitude, Marsha snuck up behind him and crouched beside him. No longer did she wear her shroud, thanks to Zapperiah showing his face to live broadcasts.

"So?"

"Not much difference." Jason answered quietly. "I am afraid to use my blood."

"You already did it once today, so I would be afraid as well."

"It's not that. I fear they are hiding something else from me."

"You are his Trainer, are you not?"

"Yes... technically."

"Then why would they hide anything from you?"

"One: they don't know how bad he is; or two: they rather not make a final decision until the diagnosis machines are repaired."

"Or both..." An assistant came up beside them and checked the drip once more. "Until we can get a mobile Quick Heal unit flown in, we are doing our best to keep the more injured comfortable. Now, please let him rest."

"Uh..."

"Some explanations are better left untold."

"He had a wet dream... didn't he?" Jason rubbed his face.

"Kind of." The woman turned from her task and frowned deeply. "He relieved himself on me while we moved him. It is not that I am used to my patients losing control like that, but when it comes from the Legendaries... it just reminds me that even they are just regular creatures as well."

"Sorry. Apparently he didn't get the job done before he was attacked."

"Not your fault. Anyway, we best allow him the silence he needs. Have you checked with your daughter?"

"Cranky, but well enough. She is already planning on moving on with crutches."

"Typical Lucario spirit I suppose."

They left the area quietly. The assistants and aides bustled about as the news hit them that the needed equipment had arrived. The Quick Heal diagnosis machines, as there had been three flown in by Dragonite Transports, were quickly set up and put to use. Though Sam was down on the list, they still got to him within an hour. All but the worst were healed up and was allowed to leave. Even Lisa was taken care of then, despite being dragged to the machine in protest.

By nightfall, those that could left quietly, thankful that this day did not take any loved ones away. Once more, Jason gathered up his traveling crew and left his daughter with appreciative help from May and her own team. Lisa and her travel group made their way out of the rural limits as they had planned. They stopped at the Route Gate and laid their sleeping mats out for it was a clear night.

Lisa brought out Justice and had the Dratini take the watch. He reluctantly agreed to it and watched as the three Trainers lay down. He silently slithered to his Trainer's feet and curled up. The Kricketots and Kricketunes chirped loudly, Justice bit his lip to keep himself from growling out at them. He kept his coiled position and kept his breathes light. Eventually one of the tiny Bug types crept up within striking range, Justice did not hesitate to go for a kick kill and have the prey as a quick snack to calm his nerves. The silencing of one did not effect the overall noise, to his despair, but it did keep the bugs away for the rest of the night.

The next morning, Justice asked to remain outside his ball. Lisa allowed it seeing that her mate and daughter were still in their balls. As they went through the checkpoint, the guardswoman on duty begged Lisa for an autograph and a glimpse of her full team. Lisa chuckled and complied, the few passersby stilled their conversations and whatnots long enough to watch the budding star show off. Lisa released her full team and introduced them in turn; people were quiet up to the point Darla formed. Gasps sounded from around the room. The Darkrai shrugged them off then went to the region map to study it.

"Where in the world did you get a Darkrai?!" A man choked out.

"Dream Stealer! No way!" A younger voice squeaked out.

"The Darkrai came to me. A change of pace was all it wanted." Lisa shouted over the murmurs.

Most of the talk quieted with that. Lisa recalled most of her team leaving Justice and Darla out. She figured it would be wise to have at least one of their group memorize the Routes. Once Darla returned to her side, they moved on. Lisa hoped to battle a few wild Pokèmon on the way to the next town. She also wanted to test these two out; she knew that if she wanted Justice to grow to a Dragonite, heavy training is to be involved.

Lisa had the two and a half foot serpent look for any opponents along the edge of the road while she made her effort on making eye content with every traveler. They only got to battle two wild Pokèmon by the time they got to the halfway point of the Route where any type of Trainer experience was the group itself. Justice finally grunted as he grabbed a rock with his tail and flung it into the tree line.

: I can't stand this anymore! :

"What's wrong?"

: This... ALL of this. When we want a battle, we can't get it. I am not strong enough to change and I am not going to like this! :

"What's wrong with Justice?" Todd asked Lisa as he stepped back to avoid another rock toss.

"Frustration. It will pass."

: Like hell it will! :

"Watch the language. There are no hiding places here until we reach the creek. Even then, it will be difficult to find any fightable opponents. If Jirachi is on our side, we might even meet Lance around the corner."

"Why would the Wish Pokèmon be on our side?" Macy said around a polish cloth and a ball.

"Jirachi does more than just grant wishes. She is the cache of pure hope."

: Please, like Jirachi is female. :

"Actually, Justice, the matriarch of the Jirachi clan is female... I, uh, met them before I was adopted by Jason."

"Wait... there are ways to finding the gender to Legendaries?" Todd forced his voice down to keep from shouting.

"If they trust you, yes. And since the clan granted my deepest wish, I hope you two will stumble across their path someday."

Lisa refused to speak more of her experience with the Jirachi, but she did manage to convince the group to move once more. She wanted to camp near the creek so she could enjoy the flowing water running through her fur. It was also her one way to relax au naturel; even if she were ashamed of her body, she would enjoy it deeply just because of the cheap thrill the flowing water gave her when she sat against the current. Though now she had travel-mates and an actual mate with young, cheap thrills were hard to come by especially in the open view of the young humans. Macy asked quietly about why Lisa would want to relax in unknown waters.

All Lisa would reply with a telepathic remark was: It is an easy, pleasurable thrill for a grown female to enjoy her body without using a male to relieve the stress. That answer made the young girl blush, but she understood then she withdrew to quietly think of what she learned from that remark. Her own conclusions only made her blush even more.

She leaned over to whisper in Lisa's ear as they walked and asked, "May I join you for the dip?"

Lisa smiled and gave her a pat on the cheek. "Of course, and who knows, we just may get our own show if we play this right." She pointed a nod toward the two males who were currently engaged at dodging rocks tossed at each other. "Boys never grow up; just remember that as you get older."

"I think I figured that one out already..."
