Tiran rushed around his house as he heard a knock on his front door, the men from the company had finally arrived. He had received the call just an hour before explaining to him that he had been selected for the experiment that had been announced on all media just a month before. According to all media scientists had discovered a chemical that could change the human DNA into that of any animal. The scientists had been released the information so they could get volunteers for the program, in response many people put forth applications. Tiran had entered his application not having high hopes but his friends had goaded him into it. Since he had been a teenager he had been a part of the Furry community, when he had found out about the experiment he had been very excited but he quickly realized how many people were going to be entering in which tore up his hopes. They announced that due to the immense amount of applicants they would be taking one hundred volunteers but it was going to take them a month to select all of them. People anxiously waited for the announcement of the volunteers. A month later they announced that they would be periodically calling all of the winners through the day. Tiran after waiting for a few hours gave up on hoping to win and went off to watch TV, after ten minutes of watching some shows he received the call. They told Tiran that they would be there within the hour and he should call someone to take care of his house so that while he recovered from the experiment his house would be well taken care of. They also informed him that he wouldn't need any clothes and that they would give him a new set after he recovered. After he finished with the call he quickly called his parents and told them the news and asked them to take care of his house which they accepted. Tiran quickly made sure that his cat was fed and that all of the electrical appliances in his house were shut off, when he heard the knock on the door he stopped and looked around his house and smiled. "Coming!" He shouted downstairs as he shut off the last of the lights, as he opened the door a hulk of a man was standing in front of him, "Tiran Tervani?" Tiran nodded and the man stepped aside and swung his arm to reveal the large Limousine waiting behind him, "Your ride is here." Tiran was led into the Limo and when he looked in he saw some others which he had figured would happen, as he slid in the others made room for him. The man closed the door behind him and walked up to the front and slid into the driver's seat, "Next stop the labs." Tiran looked out the window and watched as the cityscape flew past the car; the atmosphere in the Limo was tense with excitement. Twenty minutes after leaving from his house they arrived at the labs where they were greeted by the scientists. "Welcome to Marich Labs where you'll all undergo your change." A man dressed in a pristine white coat was smiling brilliantly at them all. "I hope you all are as excited as I am to get this underway." This was met by a group of excited voices agreeing with him. "My name is Thonla Marich and I own this company. I will be your guide through the process of your transformation." They were all led into the main building; the interior of the building was a rather monotone color of white. All of the furniture in the building was also white, "I'm guessing you like the color white?" Thonla turned back and smiled, "Yes indeed I do, I find white represents a peaceful demeanor." Thonla led the group deep into the labs often pointing out the different aspects to the company, "This lab right here is our research and development division, they were the ones who synthesized the substance that will change you all." Thonla turned and smiled as he motioned to the door that he was standing next to, "Here is the room where you will be prepped for the process; I will be back by the time everything is explained to you all." He turned around and walked down the hall; Tiran looked at all of the others and shrugged then walked into the room.

As the group walked into the room they were given robes by an attendant standing by the door, they were each ushered into a changing room. Tiran shed his clothes quickly and got into the robe, as he walked out he was taken into a room where some doctors were waiting. "Don't worry this isn't the surgery yet we're just taking some measurements and blood samples." One of the doctors explained to him as they strapped a tight band onto his right arm so they could take a shot. After they finished with the check-up they sent Tiran out into the hall with the others to meet up with Thonla, "Ah you're all finished, well then are you all ready to do what you came here for?" Everyone smiled and nodded, "Alright then follow me and we'll get you all squared away." He led them down the hall and sent each person from the group into a different room until it was just Tiran and Thonla, "Are you excited for this?" Thonla asked Tiran, "Yeah this is like a dream." Thonla stopped in front of a door and opened the door for Tiran, "Head inside and let your dreams be fulfilled." Tiran smiled and walked in; he walked into an operation room and saw the doctors were prepping for the operation. "Before you can do the operation we'll just need you to sign some papers just for insurance purposes." A woman handed him a thick packet of paper and a pen, "Just sign where I point to." She helped him leaf quickly through the thick stack of paper and then took it back from him, "Thank you." One of the doctors walked up to Tiran and held his hand out to shake, "I'm the head surgeon on your operation so I just wanted to tell you that I'll be taking very special care to make sure your surgery go's perfectly." Tiran shook his hand and nodded in appreciation, "So will I be awake for this process or will I be put under?" The surgeon led him towards the table, "You'll be under, the operation is extremely delicate so we can't be having you move at all during the operation." Tiran sat up on the operation table and laid back, "How long does the operation take?" He asked trying to make conversation while the surgeon was prepping, "It'll take about five hours, during the operation we need to put the serum into every part of your body so it'll take." Tiran nodded and relaxed for a bit then realized he had never told the company what he had wanted to change into, "How do you know what we all want to change into?" The surgeon was grabbing the gas mask that would put Tiran under, "You probably don't remember but on the application that you submitted there was a question asking what you wanted to be morphed with." Tiran had more questions but before he could ask them a mask was slipped over his mouth, "Don't worry, when you wake up you'll be a whole new person." Tiran felt himself slipping under and the last thing he saw was a blade pushing in on him. When Tiran woke up he found that he couldn't see anything, after thinking for a moment that he was blind he realized that he had a bandage over his eyes. "Hello?" As his voice rang out he realize that it sounded a bit gruffer then it had before. He heard some footsteps coming towards him, "Oh good you're awake Mr. Tervani." Tiran reached his hand towards his face to feel if he had been changed but a hand grabbed his arm before he could touch it, "Don't do that yet, I'd you rather see it before you feel it."

Tiran felt the arm pull him from his bed and he was led somewhere, "Are you ready to see what you've become?" He hesitated for a moment afraid of what he might see but then he steeled himself, "Yeah I'm ready to see." He felt a pair of scissors cut through the bandages at the back of his head. A burst of life suddenly hit his eyes and he was blinded, "Ow..." After the blindness finally went away he finally saw what he had become. A humanoid wolf was looking back at him, "Oh wow..." His eyes now being far more powerful magnified the small details on his body. His fur was a light gray with spots of white brushed over it, his hands had pads on them now but he still had five fingers. Tiran noticed that he had lost a lot of weight in the change and that his body seemed much more limber than it had before. After a few moments of looking himself over he realized that he was naked and he quickly tried to cover himself, "Don't worry Mr. Tervani your fur keeps you quite covered; though I'm sure you would like some clothes." Tiran looked over to see who had been guiding him this whole time and realized that it was Thonla, "I'm sure you notice that your senses have been increased by quite a lot." Tiran took a moment to smell the air, hear everything around him, and look at everything then nodded. "That's good, now let me grab you a pair of clothes then we'll talk over how you feel." Tiran sat down and looked in the mirror as he waited for Thonla to come back, he admired his new self. As he started to relax a brick suddenly flew through the window to his room, Tiran jumped off his bed as the brick flew through the air that his head had just been seconds before. Thonla suddenly ran in and two guards followed him who ran to the window to see who had thrown the brick, Thonla kneeled beside Tiran. "Are you alright?" Tiran was in a daze, "Yeah, but what was that all about?" Thonla sighed softly, "People are thinking that what we did to you and the others is unethical." Tiran frowned, "But we volunteered..." Thonla helped Tiran up, "That's why they just tried to kill you with that brick." Tiran looked down at the brick and noticed a word on the side of it, he quietly read off the word. "Freak..." Thonla gently put his hand on his shoulder, "Welcome to your new life..."
