"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I yelled loudly and tried to shove it away.

Eli grabbed it just as a pain wracked my body that I could not describe. It grew worse and I began to scream loudly. My voice grew hoarse, my eyes hurt and pulsed. My head began to throb.

"TRISTAN!" Dustin yelled loudly to catch my attention, "LISTEN!" grabbing my arms and shaking me. "FOCUS! FOCUS ON MY VOICE!"

I tried. The pain hitting my body intensified. I began to pant.

"LISTEN!" Dustin yelled. He continued to call my name as, and I only could assume, Eli grabbed my now thrashing arms and pinned them down. TRISTAN! LISTEN!" as the man grabbed my face and made me focus on his voice.

Dustin now spoke softly, "Tristan. Listen," he sighed, "you have to drink this, I'm sorry. It's the only way you can get better. Please trust me."

The glass was put near my lips but I fought, "WHY THE FUCK?" I yelled.

Eli spoke softly in my ear, "Trust him Tristan. We care, please, trust Dustin and trust us. We are going to be there for you."

"Trust us," Dustin's voice, as a command, and Eli's as a soothing parent or lover sang into my head. It was soft and I found myself wanting to trust him but still I fought. I gasped.

"His mental capabilities are off the charts," Dustin grimaced, "I can't force anymore." I felt my mind relax for a moment and gasped again to breathe.

Dustin wasted no time. The moment I let out the breath the glass was at my lips and tilted in allowing the thick, viscous liquid to cross my tongue and down my throat.

My mind slid into a different state as if someone shifted my cranial gears from 1st to 4th in rapid succession. I grabbed for the glass and poured the remainder down my throat. It was warm, irony and yet still had hints of vanilla. The pain began to subside. I was able to finally grab my mind back to reality.

Eli's arms slid tighter around me, stroking my hair as I panted. Dustin's voice softly blew into my ear as he knelt beside me, "It'll be alright son. You want another?"

Part of me was repulsed by the fact that I did but the greater need screamed "YES!" in my mind.

I could only nod as Dustin took the glass and walked over the refrigerator and back again with the glass half filled with the dark coloured liquid. He handed it to me. Hesitantly I took it and pressed the glass to my lips, this time it was cold but still had the same taste only masked slightly by the coolness from the refrigeration. I cringed again at the thought of what I was doing.

"Warm is always better," Dustin sat down beside me with a sad smile, "I try to at least microwave it for fifteen seconds to take the chill off." I could only look at him with curiosity and slight fear.

"Where am I?" I got out setting the glass down after Eli had released me.

I suddenly realized that the man who had been holding was completely nude and showed no shame. I realized my own predicament and grabbed a nearby pillow to cover up my 'goods'. Dustin laughed along with Eli. "Now you're shy?" the muscular construction company owner quipped.

Eli smiled, "You're at our loft. You've been here for nearly five days. It was touch and go for a bit."

I felt a twinge on my left side at my shoulder at the neck like it was slightly sore and reached up to grab it. My right hand came into contact with a medium sized gauze bandage. The memories flooded back as I gasped, jumping off the couch and allowing the pillow to fall to the floor. I ran to a nearby mirror and look at the white material taped to my neck. I could see the other two men look at each other hesitantly and sadly in the mirror's reflection as I pulled off the bandage.

There on my neck, just at the base of the shoulder were the remains of what had been a rather large wound; almost like the flesh had been torn. It looked nearly healed. It looked like it was healing before my eyes. Memories flooded my mind as I whirled back on the two men.

Dustin spoke up, "What do you remember?"

Piecemeal thoughts and charged memories started to flood through me and I began to shake as I started to cry. Panic overwhelmed me again, accompanied by sobs, my own.

Suddenly two sets of arms surrounded me. I tried to fight them off but they only held me tighter. My body was once again pulled towards the couch. I was held and comforted as I cried. All of what had occurred in the bathroom of the bar came flowing back through me.

The man, Dean, looking at my cock, his words and then the pain that coursed through my body as his teeth sank into my shoulder/neck. In gasping breaths, I finally got out, "It was real, wasn't it?"

Eli pulled me close and kissed my forehead, "It was little one. I'm sorry."

Dustin had stood up and began to pace the room. He seemed agitated.

Eli called to him, "Dus... Dus.." The tall man turned hearing his partner's voice and stared at me. I saw the pain cross through his face, considerable pain and worry. Looking into my eyes it melted into a soft, caring and saddened stare, "I'm sorry Tristan. I'm so sorry."

"What happened?" I asked again.

Eli spoke up, "What do you remember?"

I took a deep breath, "I remember that asshole trying to check out my dick and then made some comment about me wanting to get into Dustin's pants."

Eli chuckled, "I can't blame you if you did. He's great in bed." I looked at Eli. The mirth in his eyes made me smile.

Dustin grumbled, "Hush pup!" It was a half threat covered with a small smile.

I continued, "He said something about being hungry and then bit me. About that time, I felt like my life was ebbing away. It felt like my blood was leaving. There was an immense amount of pain to begin with and then .... It wasn't entirely unpleasant but the fact that this guy was a prick turned me off."

Dustin nodded. I kept going at his acknowledgment. "The next thing I know I heard this loud bang and then Dustin's voice. I felt the lips and mouth being ripped from my shoulder, there was an immense amount of pain and then slumping to the floor."

"I looked over and saw you," looking back to Eli, "you... you started to shimmer and then the next thing there was this huge wolf or what looked like a human/wolf cross standing in the doorway." I pulled myself up and paced the room walking past Dustin as I did, "Suddenly I was pulled over and into your arms, except you were human again. Does that make sense?"

Eli nodded as I continued, "Dean screamed something. Something about feeding.... Wait, his face..." I gasped realizing what I saw in both Dean and Dustin. There was the fight and then Dean's face staring at me with long canines drooping out of his mouth. His head... I dropped down into a nearby chair.

The room was quiet. It was a few minutes before I spoke, "It all happened didn't it?" I half asked and half knew it had. I just wanted confirmation and somehow I knew that neither of the men sitting in front of me would lie. Two soft nods confirmed it. I bit down on my lip out of habit, something I've always done when I get nervous. "OW!" I yelped as my tooth punctured my bottom lip.

I grabbed a tissue out of a nearby box and ran to the mirror again to check out how bad it was. There was a small puncture wound but it didn't look bad. Hell, it even looked like it was starting to heal. I opened my mouth to check to see if I bled more when I caught sight of my teeth, more specifically my canines. They were longer, longer than they should be and it was still to fucking bright in this room at the moment.

I twisted back to Dustin, fear and nervousness evident in my eyes. He came over and pulled me back down towards the couch. "You want to know the rest?" Dustin asked. I could only nod.

He let out a long sigh, "What you saw was real, what happened to you was real," he began. "The stories about "things that go bump in the night" are real. I, and now what was the 'late' Dean, am a vampire. I have been since I was turned in 1801." I turned to stare at him.

"That... that would make you," I stammered. "Two hundred and eleven years old since the time that I was turned," he finished.

My eyes widened, "But you look like you're about 35?" Dustin nodded, "I'm roughly 36 in mortal terms. I was 19 when I was turned while in New Orleans on business for my Father."

"If you were nineteen?" I asked. Dustin chuckled, "Nineteen and two hundred-eleven adds to two hundred-thirty. Contrary to popular myth Tristan, we do age, just at a slower rate than normal humans."

"Is this your true form or just a 'forced' memory on me?" I croaked out, "Are you playing with my mind?"

Eli laughed behind me, "You read way too many cheesy vampire novels and have seen way too many movies."

"Still," Dustin began while getting up off the couch and taking on a serious Professor's voice, "those passed down oral and written histories, stories and later movies have helped keep all of us supernaturals as secrets well hidden for thousands of years. Only a few have ever gotten them totally correct."

"Like what?" I asked.

Dustin moved towards the window and stood in the sunlight, "Well, this for one." I had to shield my eyes because of the glare from the afternoon sun but I was more shocked that he didn't go up in flames.
