The marked chapter 2
Yuukan finally began to regain consciousness. He shook his head and looked around the house his aqua eyes scanning the house for any movement. He only found his mate Katsu lying stillunconscious on the floor.Already he could see two cuts in his arm and a deeper cut on his back.
"Katsu!" Yuukan screamed as he ran to him.
Katsu seemed to wake and at once he felt the full pain of his wounds. As he looked up at Yuukan he clung to him like a pup. Yuukan starred down at him, Katsu began to cry holding onto Yuukan. Yuukan held his mate in a tight embrace at least trying to provide him some comfort.
"Yuukan.... I-I'm scared" hewhimpered
Too much was racing through my mind. I needed to know where my mother was I didn't know who attacked and why or what they wanted with my mother. Most importantly I had no idea how to use these new powers of mine or what they were. I held Katsu in my arms a light appeared around us and it formed into a reflection of my mark the blue light illuminated the room and as I looked I could also see that Katsu's wounds began to close.
"Yuukan What'jape opening I feel...cold."
I gasped as I saw now that his wounds had disappeared with our even a single scar. I got up and Katsu followed just then yet Another intruded flew in from a window. She was a cat no doubt about it with pale ginger fur and auburn hair that cascaded down her back. My firsretraction was to prepare for a fight but in her hazel eyes therewhere no signs of hostility. In fact her eyes had a look if sympathy to them.
"I'm not your enemy" she whispered
She held her paw out to me and I took it and stood next to her.
"who are you?" Yuukan asked her
"My name is Sarah I am a friend of your mother and I was a friend of your father as well." she replied solemnly
He sighed in relief Yuukan couldn't take much more of this already not knowing who to trust and if the enemy could be right around the corner.
"Now you two need to come with me now" she ordered
"I will not leave with out my friends" Yuukan stated flately
"and just who will you be taking with you who's going to be willing to leave their families behind while they accompany you in this journey? They might not come back you might not even return" Sarah said sharply
"The path your mother wants you to take will have you face to face with death and at the very gates of hell on Eath!"
"All the more reason to have friends I can trust by my side" Yuukan mused
"All the more to mark and assess more and more work, fine but you'd better make it snappy we dont have much time" she ordered
