Third chapter... hopefully people are finding this interesting...

My breath became ragged as I tried to struggle further. "This guy is biting me!" I thought out loud in my head. Hell, I was screaming it in my mind but I couldn't get the words out. I felt out of it. I began to feel an incredible strong suction on my neck. I could feel the blood in my body being pulled dramatically and drastically out. My eyes flitted back and forth like I knew that my entire life was being pulled away from me.

***BANG!*** The sound overwhelmed me for a moment as I tried to determine what I'd heard. "Oh yeah, that was it. The door to the john slamming open..." I thought softly as I tried to keep conscious. Suddenly, I felt Dean's mouth yanked away from my neck. I slumped to the floor, down and against the stall wall, limp and in and out of actuality. I could hear the conversation but it wasn't registering. It sounded as if Dean was yelling at... Whom? I finally realized it was Dustin. And he was yelling back, if not louder. Oh, and there was snarling as well.

********

Once he caught Dean watching Tristan, he knew that he had to keep an eye on him. "WHAT THE FUCK?" Dustin yelled storming into the bathroom. He'd seen Dean glance over to Tristan making his way to piss and then followed Tristan into the crapper. He'd known immediately that was trouble. Sure enough, he'd found Dean's mouth latched to the kid's neck and sucking the life out of him. He reached forward and kidney punched the vamp, HARD! It made him twitch enough that he was able to pull the bastard off the kid's neck.

Dean's fangs were extended and reddish tinged. The corners of his mouth dripped with Tristan blood. "YOU INTERUPT ME AS I FEED?!" Dean screeched and snarled at Dustin.

Dustin's faced changed. It became animalistic, brow furrows deepened and eyes golden in hue. His fangs dropped lower as he increased in stature.

"HOW DARE YOU?!" Dean bellowed drawing a crowd of super naturals from the bar area.

Tristan watched in a stupor and tried to focus. He recognized one of them, the bartender, but his body seemed to shimmer for a second and then change. Tristan shook his head trying to remain conscious.

The bartender shifted, clothes renting in to and took his full height in lycan form, "I'VE GOT YOUR BACK DUSTIN!" he growled and snarled at the vampire dripping of blood.

"NO ELI!" Tristan heard Dustin yell through a foggy brain, "THIS IS BETWEEN US! HE'S BROKEN THE CODE ONE TOO MANY TIMES!"

Dustin was an 'Enforcer'; one who upheld the code of the 'Super Naturals' since its' inception over 200 years ago. They had come a long way in the short time of their long lifespans. It had allowed them to exist and governments to stop hunting them.

Dustin's arms stiffened and he and Dean squared off. The entire time Tristan leaned against the stall wall groggily watching things unfold until the werewolf pulled him over and out of the way. He shifted back to his human form, held the young man against his nude body to keep him warm, while keeping an eye on Dean to see if he attempted to flee or pull something.

"THE 'CODE'" Dean spat, "FUCK THAT CODE! WE ARE IMMORTAL! WE ARE GODS! WE SHOULD TAKE WHAT IS OURS AND FEED ON THE CATTLE!"

Dustin's eyes changed again, deeper, redder with anger, "HOW DARE YOU?"

"WE HAVE WORKED HARD TO ALLOW OUR KIND THE RIGHTS, FREEDOMS AND RESPONSIBLITIES THAT COME WITH OUR HERITAGE AND YOU DARE TREAT HUMANS AS FOOD!?" the anger flowing freely from within the Enforcer. "YOU DON'T DESERVE YOUR HERITAGE! YOUR SIRE SHOULD BE ASHAMED!"

"MY SIRE?" Dean grinned and laughed, "MY SIRE IS DEAD TO ME!" he cackled while staring Dustin down.

Dustin knew what he meant but pushed it away. "Your Sire's blood, however, was delicious!" Dean's eyes gleamed as a long, smug, self-satisfying smile spread across his face.

There was a collective gasp from all witnessing the events. Lycans snarled, witches and warlocks looked particularly ill and vampires hissed. Dean laughed at them and their faces, especially in Dustin's. They were appalled. It was against all of what they stood for to destroy your own sire or the sire of another by drinking their blood, to feed off of their essence without consent, but to attack and feed off a First One, it was an abomination.

For Dustin it was particularly worse, Dean had fed off his sire. The one who, in the bond, Dean owed his life. "YOU BASTARD!" Dustin screamed as rage pulsed through his body forcing him to take on his most animalistic nature. He launched directly at Dean sending him flying back into the wall, breaking the gleaming porcelain tiles, while gripping the arms of the murder to keep his snapping teeth at bay.

Dean struck back with his feet kicking Dustin away and into an open stall door. The feeding on the sire, one of the Old Ones, had increased his strength, near that of Dustin.

Dean rushed at him trying to rake the eyes of the 'Enforcer' in attempt to temporarily blind him. Dustin ducked and shot his hand forward striking the celiac (solar) plexus on Dean and folding him in half with the blow. He launched forward grasping Dean's arms, shoving the vamp back against the far wall and squeezed hard on the left arm.

The snapping of his left humerus sounded through the bathroom. Dean screamed in pain. Normally, this type of break could be healed with feeding but Dustin wasn't giving him a chance. He threw the vamp across the bathroom again into the outcrop edge of the sink. It was hard enough to snap Dean's spine. The rouge and now despised vampire slumped to the floor.

"DUSTIN!" one of the warlocks yelled catching his attention. The warlock flipped his arm into the air and a sword appeared. He spoke a quick incantation at the sword as it flew through the air towards the 'Enforcer'.

Dean, however, was already recovering. Due to the feeding on Tristan's blood minutes earlier, and the 'Old Ones' previously, his back was reconnecting and healing. His eyes glowed like fire towards Dustin. He quickly snapped his spine into position and got to his knees.

He didn't have a chance. The sword was already in Dustin's hand as he strode forth and began his swing. Dean's eyes open wide as his mouth gapped open in a hissing scream. Nothing issued forth as the blade sliced through his neck separating his head from his torso.

Time stood still for Tristan as he focused on all that was happening. The blade, the swing, Dustin's face all ran through his mind. It all seemed to happen in slow motion; as if a strobe light had been activated and each flash snapped a picture that embedded in his memories.

The head flew through the air even as Dean's body began to glow and quickly disintegrate. The last thing that Tristan saw, before he slipped into unconsciousness, was Dean's head land at his feet, eyes and mouth open, then suddenly beginning to smoke before going up in a puff of flames and settling to ash.

Dustin dropped the sword to his side taking deep breaths. The anger and bile rising in his throat put him further on edge while looking around almost as to see if anyone else was attempting to come at him as well. Words flew at him, voices pounding in his ears and head... his sire, now gone. Those of the lycan bartender, his friend and lover for years, Eli, broke his trance, "DUSTIN!"

He turned to see Tristan being held in the wolf's arms trying to waken the lad. Dustin ran over as the warlock who'd sent the sword knelt as well. The warlock, Chance Perry, leaned in examining the bite wound on the youth's shoulder/neck area, "He's lost a considerable amount of blood. He's fifty/fifty at the moment and we don't have time to get him to one of the facilities. He needs a transfusion."

Dustin took a swipe of Tristan's blood with his finger and put it in his mouth, "He's A negative." Eli looked down at Dustin, "You sure?" His question was returned with an annoyed gaze. The lycan leapt to his feet, naked and tight bubble ass bobbing as he rushed through a door by the bar.

Eli ran through the kitchen towards the door that housed the store room, inside he moved to a far wall, and pressed a few hidden buttons. The wall slid to the side and large stainless steel refrigerator pushed forward. The glass doors reflected the nude lycans' highly muscled form as he quickly scanned the inventory. "FUCK!" he spat.

During his absence they had scooped up Tristan and moved him to a nearby pool table resting his head on a couple of bar towels. Eli appeared with the med kit a few moments later. There was no blood with him. "WE'RE OUT!" he growled.

Chance, a Nurse Practioner in this life, and an EMT, had run out to his truck and pulled out his gear with Eli's absence. The machines strapped to the boy were already humming and buzzing. He was checking the vitals. "His BP is dropping...." Moving his stethoscope to listen to Tristan's heart, he looked up at Dustin, "We're gonna lose him unless..." Chance looked around, "Anyone here A negative?"

The crowd of supernaturals looked to one another but no one moved. All of the 'shape shifters' and vampires knew what it meant and what could happen. With a lycan it didn't take much more than a bite and the gene got transported via the saliva, but with vampires, it took almost a full draining of the body's vital fluid before an exchange of blood was used to change them over.

Human perception was that vamps were 'dead' but that was not the truth. Their metabolism literally slowed down. It's what gave them the appearance of never aging and being dead. The fact was, they were alive but with a need to feed on blood to prevent their death.

They either had to let him die or turn him unless they found a donor amongst the witches, warlocks and assembled magical beings assembled. None of them spoke up, each shaking their head, none of them lying. Eli, Chance and Dustin could sense that from them.

A lycan spoke up not knowing what could happen with his blood for a direct donation, "I'm A positive." Chance shook his head, "The Rh factor difference would kill him faster than the blood loss."

Dustin stuck his arm out, "Do it!"

Chance balked, "Are you sure?" Dustin nodded, "I'm A negative and it's his only chance." The EMT eyed the vampire, "We don't know what this will do to him. He wasn't fully drained for the turning. There could be problems. Vampiric blood properties are more toxic. You know that and why only so little is given for a turning. This could kill him."

Eli spoke up. His eyes were watery and he was choking on his words, "We've got to try. I can't say why but I really like the kid."

Dustin thrust his arm out again. Chance looked at him one more time, "If this works... He could be," pausing in his words, "Different."

"I understand. It'll be my responsibility," Dustin said.

Chance nodded, "We need to move him though and both of you need to be lying down." Eli scooped up the young man and rushed towards the back stairway, "Follow me."

The moments it took Chance as he pulled out the sterile needles and cleaned their respective arms seemed like forever to Dustin and Eli. Eli had gotten Tristan situated with the portable EKG monitor, as Chance moved first to Dustin. "This is going to sting," he laughed.

Dustin cocked an eyebrow, "Yeah... right..." Chance laughed as he pushed the needle into the vampires arm, "Hey, it's something I say to all my patients. Now, ball your fist for a moment while I get you a squeeze ball," as he reached over to his kit. He pulled a medium foam ball out and put it in the vampire's hand. "About every minute or so, give it a light squeeze..." He then repeated the same thing with Tristan, making the direct connection between Dustin and the youth. Blood began to flow freely from the vampire into the young man.

Eli had returned with about three bags of blood from downstairs. It didn't matter what type Dustin got since vampiric blood over-road all others. Chance put a 'pic' line for the IV in Dustin's right arm and started the blood drip to replenish the vampire so that he wouldn't go into cravings. That could lead to worse issues.

Eli wiped the damp hair back off Tristan's forehead as the blood from the vampire continued to flow, "You think he'll be alright?"

Chance shrugged, "Hard to say." The EMT kept checking the kid's vitals and listening to his heart trying to determine if anything was going wrong. About the beginning of the third pint into Dustin, Tristan's BP had risen to a relatively safe level and heart beat was decent, "Looks like he's going to be fine," removing the connection from Dustin to the kid and swabbing the spot with alcohol.

Already the connection site had begun to heal on Dustin. He turned back to the kid when he noticed him start to spasm and begin to convulse, "FUCKING HELL!!! ELI!!!" The lycan rushed over and grabbed the young man's arms and held him down.

The EKG meter flat lined.... Chance stuffed his stethoscope in his ears and checked... "HE'S GOING INTO CARDIAC ARREST." He yelled over to Dustin, "GRAB THE PADDLES AND THAT SYRINGE OF EPINEPRIN!"

Dustin ripped the drip from his arm, grabbed the nearby case then fumbled the opening for a moment as he rushed to open it. He took the paddles and handed them to Eli while Chance grabbed the needle full of Epineprin. Chance ripped the shirt off Tristan and stabbed down into the young man's heart with the syringe full of medication. Eli held the paddles that he'd coated with gel. Dustin yelled loudly, "CLEAR..."

A loud thump was heard in the room and Tristan's body rose a couple of inches. "AGAIN!" Chance yelled. Seconds that seemed like an eternity rolled by when a little blip appeared on the screen as the three men watched it. Slowly it built until it stabilized. Tristan began thrashing again but Eli grabbed his arms. "It's the change," Dustin breathed, "but I've never seen it happen like this..."
