Domestic Violance part two: work

"Hey honey." came the sweet voice of one of Alex's good friends. A golden white lion named Joey. The white lion opened his arms and hugged the small Husky rubbing his back. Alex was still for a few moments before he slowly slid his arms around the lion and began to tremble. "Oh sweetie." Joey whispered, taking the alex by the paw and leading him into the 'Brain's' only safe place away from the 'Builders'

It was medium sized, air conditioned hut where the smaller parts of the group would drink water, relax and sit if they felt faint from the heat. But most of the time for Alex. It was where he would get moral support.

When Alex's parents passed away, Alex began to get deeper and deeper into depression, until Luke (when he was the caring bull he used to be), took him to a clinic where he was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. At the time, Luke would hold him at nights, telling him he was beautiful and that even though he had PTSD, he would love him until the end of time.

Then Luke got sick of the constant miserable look. He told Alex to get the fuck over his issues and as hard as Alex tried. He couldn't. He was stuck with the constant feeling of darkness and sadness surrounding him like the air he breaths. He just couldn't get rid of it...

So Luke changed. He knew he wouldn't be able to get another as good as Alex at anything from cooking to fucking, so, instead of dumping him. He kept him around. To use him, and to make him feel even worse.

The Husky was sad at work, sometimes crying most of the day. But every time a tear came to his face, Joey would be there, taking him into the small building and holding him tightly to help his friend.

The hut was two parts. The first part (the entrance) was a table with a large touch screen computer. Its job was to holograph the building design. The group would come in each week to see how far the building had come along.

That part of the week was the only time the large animals were aloud in. The other times, the builders were to stay clear of the building unless one had collapsed. Then they were taken to the second room.

The second room was a rectangular room with beds laid along one side of the room, and the other held a two, part fridge. The left side being the fridge, holding bottles of cold water and medication of sorts. The right side being the freezer holding ice packs, and ice.

Then next to the fridge, a large cabinet. Holding some tablet medication, first aid supplies and sugar sweets. It was the hospital of sorts, it was only used when any of the animals felt faint, we're injured and had to be looked after. Some days it wasn't used at all, and others it was filled with fainted animals.

But as of right now, Alex was sitting on one of the beds, whimpering and crying into his friend shoulder.

"It's ok Hun." Joey whispered softly. His paw stroking down his back for comfort. "Everything will be ok."

Joey knew he couldn't reassure his promise. But his friend needed to hear it. He needed to be looked after. Because Luke wouldn't do it. He would only say things that would make the poor animal feel even worse about himself. Joey hated The bull with every fiber of his being for how he treated Alex because of something he couldn't control. It was pathetic and unacceptable. But no matter how many times he begged Alex to leave him. Alex said he couldn't.

The reason being, due to his PTSD. One his symptoms was to cling to the one who helped him through his rough time. Which (to how short it was) happened to be Luke. Luke in his eyes was still his savior. He may hit him, treat him horribly. But he was to attached, and scared of loss. He just couldn't leave. He was scared to leave. Even though most of the time he was scared for his life...

"Why does he treat me so badly?" Alex asked crying into the white, golden fur below him. "I can't help the way I feel. I want to be happy. I want to so badly... But I can't."

"I know sweetheart. He is a self absorbed ass hole who needs to wake up to the reality that is that you have post traumatic stress disorder. But you don't have to put up with it. Pack up and leave. Come and live with me. We can go out clubbing, we can have fun times and you won't have to put up with his shit." Joey said making the canine look at him. He knew that all of this was going through on ear and out the other. But he had to try. He had to try and make Alex leave what he had to deal with.

"I... I can't do that..." Alex whimpered. "I love him so much still..."

"I know honey." Joey sighed. He just hugged the Husky tightly then waited for him to calm down.

"Are you guys in here?" came a familiar, up beat voice from behind the door.

"Hehe." Joey giggled, "Yeah Robby!"

The door opened and in bounced the white Lapine. Smiling with his pure ears tied back. Well smiling until his saw Alex.

"Alex?" He asked walking slowly over to his friend and putting a caring arm over his shoulder. Alex just leaned and welcomed his friend with the best hug he could conjure. Robby smiled then looked up at the golden Lion beside his Husky friend and with no sound, lipped 'Luke?'. Joey would only nod with a sad expression. The rabbit sighed and rubbed his friends shoulder cuddling in for a short while. He had the same views as Joey and urged Alex to take Joey up on his offer. And yet. Alex gave the same excuse. Robby wouldn't take it any further in fear of making his good friend cry and apologize over and over again.

They both hated seeing their friend in such a state. They had only had one way of coping with it. And that was to let him be. It was hard for them to do. He wouldn't go see a therapist, he wouldn't live with another person, and he wouldn't live with Joey. The boys would have an intervention with the rest of the group. But the last time that happened. Alex began to self harm himself as a form of punishment to himself for being so useless to everybody. Luckily they were able to at least stop that... Just barely...

"C'mon honey." Robby said leaning back and smiling towards his friend, "Everybody else is here. Come say hello."

Alex leaned back slowly and wiped his eyes, taking a deep breath in and nodding.

"O-Ok." he said softly. His two friends smiled as they took his paws and lead him out into the entrance room where another four stood talking. All of them in the same uniform as them. A pair of short shorts, and a white vest with the bottom cut off. The vest only covered their top half of the body and left them unprotected to hot liquid and to sunburn. Yes they wore hard hats when having to go inside the construction area, But that was pretty much it. Unless they had to work with a wielding torch. Then they had to dress up in the full out fit and all protection.

"Alex!" called out Jessie, the puma of the pack.

"Oh hey!" came the dragon of the group. And the slutty one. Adam. The other two Dan, the quiet black wolf and Matt, the arctic fox just smiled, following the other two to go over and hug their work colleague. Who (despite his down mood) smiled as best he could and returned the hugs he got from each of them.

"How are you guys?" Alex asked getting smiles from each of them. Alex just took that as well.

"Should we check the roster?" Jessie asked.

"Think that would be a great idea genius!" Adam said walking over getting a giggle, if not a smile from each member of the group.

"What ever slut!" he said back making Adam stop and bend over and smile through his legs.

"And proud!" he giggled.

Now most people would think that a slut is stuck up, person who can't get anywhere in life. Now Adam was the complete opposite. He may be confident but he was smart, and not entirely up himself. He was the slutty kind because he enjoyed the sex he got at work. But that was only because he began stepping in for others if they didn't feel up to it. Then after a while he decided to just enjoy himself. He was important to the group, because most of the animals have days where they just don't need any sort of sexual encounter at all. So. On those days. Adam stepped in. And everybody loved him for it.

"Hehe, who is with who?" Joey asked.

"Umm, Dan, you are with Darren. Joey, you're with Luke."

"Oh joy! Maybe I can fuck his machine up and make him go boom!" Joey laughed but the paw squeeze he got from Alex made him rethink what he said. "Oh Hun, I'm just joking." he reassured Alex giving him a hug.

"Umm Oh! I'm with Carl yay!" Adam cheered getting a giggle from everybody. "umm Robby, your with Zeak. Aron gets Matt and Jessie you are with Fin..."

"Oh so you get the hut then Hun!" Joey said smiling. Alex smiled. That meant he got air conditioned comfort all day! That was a relief!

"Ummm, no. No he doesn't." Adam intervened making everybody very confused.

"What do you mean?" Joey asked,

"Yeah," Robby asked, "There are seven of us and six of the big guys."

"Oh please don't tell me that one of them gets two for a heavy job?" Matt asked.

"No," Adam giggled, turning around smiling. "Alex here, is on new guy duty!" Adam said smiling.

"Ooo!" Came the voice of all the animals in the room.

"Wonder what animal he is?" Robby asked,

"Or if he is cute?" asked Adam

"Or if he's another pig headed ass wipe!" Joey said.

"Well I try my hardest not to be." came a new voice from the door. Everybody turned quickly to see who the new voice was from and standing at the door. Was a very tall lion that made most of the boys blush. "Hi, I'm the new guy that an 'Alex' will be showing around." the lion chuckled, his English accent strong.

"Oh we'll hello gorgeous." Adam said making the lion smile.

"Welcoming." he laughed, making most of the boys giggle.

"Hehe, don't mind him. Only thing on his mind is what you could up up his ass." Jessie said walking towards the lion, with an open paw to shake. "Welcome to the construction site, my name is Jessie. I'm the head medical and head mechanical engineer here and you are?" Jessie asked smiling, as the large lion placed his paw in his own smaller one.

"Hi, I'm Callum. The new guy!" The lion introduced himself smiling towards the smaller animals.

"Hi, I'm Joey!" Joey giggled waving

"I'm Adam!" Adam giggled winking, making Callum raise an eye brow.

"And I'm Matt."

"I'm Robby!"

"And this is Alex." Joey said pushing me forward slightly.

"H-Hi!" Alex said smiling, but the lion went sort of silent for a bit. He stood looking at Alex for a moment, his cheeks reddening before he shook his head and smiled.

"Hi!" he said walking up to the Husky and holding a paw out. Alex smiled the best that he could gather as he shook the Lions paw. It was gentle. Alex wasn't one to be firm with a paw shake. But he didn't quite understand why the lion didn't squeeze like all the others did. Instead he just held his paw and raised it up then let it drop. It was more holding paws then shaking.

"So you're the animal showing me around are you?" Callum asked smiling down at the husky who just smiled and nodded his head.

"He doesn't talk much." Joey giggled making Alex growl playfully. Joey giggled then gave a sigh as a loud bell went off.

"Working time fellas!" Jessie called out.

"No shit Sherlock!" Adam laughed.

"So are you going to show Callum the plans then show him around?" Jessie asked Alex who nodded. "Alright." he said before following the rest of the group out the doors, leaving Alex and Callum alone.

"It was Alex?" Callum asked.

"Yes, and Callum?" Alex asked smiling a little as he got a smile from the Lion. Alex then turned and began to walk towards the thick table in the middle of room. His left leg limping a little which Callum found a little curious, but decided to get to know the animal before asking about injuries.

"So, how long have you been working here?" Callum asked, following the husky towards the table and jumping slightly as the table top lit up and a sign in screen appeared. "Woah!"

Alex had just run his paw fingers down the screen, towards him as Callum asked him the question. "Umm, Two years." he answered before giggling as he watched how impressed the lion was with the holographic screen. "You never seen one of these?" Alex asked getting a head shake, while he opened up the folder in the screen.

"Is it just a screen?" Callum asked, just before Alex bought all his fingers together in the middle of the screen where a folder named 'Design' laid. He rose his paw straight up in the air, being followed by the blue hologram of the building design.

The design was the size of Alex's forearm, and had a modern feel to the look. The top of the large, forty story, five star building was a deep pool with slides on either side. The left and right side of the pools were thick glass, giving the swimmer a clear view of his or her surroundings.

"That is awesome!" Callum said in awe, as he looked upon the little blue building. Alex smiled as he watched the big lion watch him.

"Building progress." Alex said in a stern voice, and with that. The building began to brake down, into tiny specks until it was just beams and the first couple of floors. And in the top of the room.

13%

Was flashing.

"That is just incredible!" Callum chuckled. Alex just smiled. Callum rose an eye brow and gave Alex a kind smile. "You don't speak much do you?"

Alex's smile dropped and he looked down uncomfortable, rubbing his right arm with his left.

"U-Umm," he said softly, feeling a little bad for not being so welcoming. "I don't u-usually talk much a-at all." Alex muttered, trying to explain himself.

"Oh, so it's not me?" Callum said laughing.

"No!" Alex said a bit loudly. Callum then became confused. He was laughing, so why did he still think he was serious?

"Hey, I was just kidding." Callum explained as he padded over. Alex didn't make eye contact. This made Callum even more worried. Had he come off as some brute? Did he frighten the small animal? He would only hope not.

"I'm sorry." Alex apologized looking up for a split second. "I'm just a n-nervous guy." Alex explained. Callum just nodded. He didn't want to push the subject. He just wanted to make sure his first day went smoothly... And maybe give a good impression on the small animal in front of him. "S-So, would you like to be shown around?"

"Yeah, that would be great!" Callum exclaimed. Alex just smiled a little as he headed towards the back right of the room with Callum close behind him. Alex opened the door, and the dimly light infirmary came into Callums view.

"So this is our infirmary. We usually use this when somebody faints, gets cuts or doesn't feel up to working." Alex explained, getting a nod from Callum. The two then turned around and walked outside into the large building site. The large beams growing out of the ground right in the middle of the site. The beams were thick and tall and Callum found it all to familiar. "In that little hut over there." Alex said softly, pointing over to a small, work shed over in the far corner of the construction site, "is the tool shed where you put your hard hat, and your tools.

"Oh yeah, we had one of those in the site in England!" Callum explained. Alex smiled over towards the feline who graciously returned it.

"What's England li..."

"Alex!" Came the low voice of his mate. Alex jumped and turned to see his bull walking towards him slowly.

"Y-Yeah Hun?" Alex asked as the bull stood right in front of him.

"Who is this?" Luke asked, looking up towards the feline. His eyes traveling up and down the stranger.

"O-Oh this is Callum. He is the news guy." Alex explained.

"New guy?" Luke snapped. "We heard nothing about a new guy!"

"Well I was in England and got let go while I was here on holiday." Callum explained,

"Oh, so you just had a sudden transfer?" Luke asked, calming down a little.

"Yeah. My England place set me up with this place. They said they were sorry and since I don't have any family to go to, I don't have any reason to go back. And it's much warmer here."

Luke laughed and held out his large hoof.

"Well welcome," he said, "I'm Luke, head mechanic here and this little beautiful guy here." Luke said pulling Alex up into his large arms and holding him close. "Is my mate Alex. He is the fixer of everything broken and one hell of a fuck!"

Alex was so confused. What had gotten into him? He usually wasn't like this.

"Oh? How long?" Callum asked, his tone falling slightly as he spoke.

"Ten years." Luke said softly kissing Alex's cheek, who was slowly enjoying himself. He hadn't had this feeling in so long. The feeling of affection and love. The feeling of somebody caring about him.

He softly leaned into his mate nuzzling up and around his muzzle, Luke chuckling and placing a soft kiss on his black nose.

"Well that's wonderful!" Callum said smiling, his true feeling of jealousy hid behind the up turned lips.

"So if you want to go get your stuff, Alex can show you around, show you the ropes and then give you the briefing." Luke explained.

"Alrighty then." Callum chuckled turning around and walking towards the little shed. While Alex turned and smiled towards his bull.

"Wh-What has gotten into you?" Alex asked as his bull, held him up off the ground, their maws only a few centimeters apart.

"Nothing," Luke chuckled, slowly watching until Callum was out of ears length. "So this is how this is going to work. You and me are happy. We bone every night and we snuggle and all that shit." Luke explained with his tone falling back to its original, stuck up, uncaring tone.

Alex's heart sunk. For a minute, just for a single minute, he thought his mate actually cared... But obviously he was mistaken.

"And if you tell him anything about the real us. I promise I will break. Your. Neck." Luke chuckled, pretending they were happy, while Alex was just trying not to cry.

"O-Ok." Alex said silently.

"Give me a kiss, giggle and walk back over towards that lion and give him a happy little fairy tale." Luke said leaning in while Alex hesitated for a minute. He gave the bull a small peck on the lips he still loved, then slid down Luke's muscular body. He attempted a smile, but yet, not even he could hid the sadness and hurt in his eyes.

Alex walked over towards the Lion who now had his tool belt around his waist and a white hard hat on his head. Alex attempted to smile but as it slid up his cheek, his lips trembled and he could feel tears forming down at the front if his eyes.

He was about to just wipe it away but a small paw grabbed his arm, turned him around and pulled him into a tight hug.

"You're ok." Joey whispered. "Everything is ok."

That is when Alex began to whimper. He hugged his friend back tightly, his body jolting slightly, visible from the Lion who was walking towards them in a slow walk.

Joey quickly took Alex back towards the hut, In a fast manor. He knew if Luke saw him like this in front of a new guy. Alex would have a rough night.

Joey hurried Timmy, into the back room, placed him on the bed and once again, like this morning. Held him to let the small Dog let out his sadness. His arms tightly around his friends shoulders. One arm around his back, the other holding the back of his head.

Alex's cries where louder then usual which made Joey both angry, and sad for his friend. He didn't deserve any of this. He didn't deserve a mate who treated him like, he didn't deserve to be crying so much. He needed love, he needed care.

He needed to get out!

"What the hell was that!?" Luke's booming voice shouted as he walked in the room. Alex whimpered while Joey just stood.

"Get the fuck out of here!" he yelled, "You have no right to be in here!"

"Bull shit I don't. That's my mate crying in here!" Luke yelled back.

"Mate!?" Joey yelled, "He is not your fucking mate you ass hole! A mate is somebody who cares about you! Not somebody who makes you feel like shit for having PTSD!"

"He just needs to fucking move on and I'm trying to get him to do that!"

"By beating him and raping him!? Oh yeah great! Maybe he won't kill himself after all!"

As the fight grew louder, Alex began to cry more and more. He believed this was his fault. He believed that if he was just a bit stronger, maybe this could have been avoided...

He looked up at the two animals. The smaller one screaming up at the larger one whose arms where getting into a familiar clench...

Luke's arms were bulging, he was trying to assert his dominance and Joey wasn't backing down... Which only meant one thing.

"Joey!" Alex yelled quickly, getting up and pushing his friend into the wall so Luke's large, fist didn't collide with his friend, but himself instead.

A loud yelp was heard as Alex's upper torso spun to compensate for the over turn his neck made, but as he went to far, Alex fell, colliding with the bed frame on the way down.

"Alex!?" Joey yelled as he got up instantly and went over to his friend whose paws were clutching his now bleeding maw and nose. A slight cut on the left side of his cheek now bleeding, where Luke's fist had hit him.

"Get up you fucking pussy!" Luke yelled.

"GET OUT OF HERE YOU FUCKING HEARTLESS CUNT!" Joey screamed at the top of his lungs, making Luke take a few steps back. "HE FUCKING LOVES YOU AND YET YOU KEEP FUCKING TREATING HIM LIKE THIS! GO FUCKING DO HIM A FAVOR AND JUMP FROM THE TOP OF THE FUCKING CONSTRUCTION SITE!"

"Don't fucking tell me what to do!" Luke growled towards the lion, "He is my mate, and I will tell him what and what not to do! So Alex, get the fuck up!"

Joey was just about to start screaming once again at the large bovine. Telling him that he was an insensitive ass hole who didn't deserve love, but he was stopped when he saw Alex pushing his body up slowly. His arms shaking, and a soft whimper escaping his lips as he pushed himself.

Joey was about to help his friend up, but Luke walked over, to grab him by the shoulder and held him back.

"He can fucking do it himself. Just go back and see what's wrong with the circular saw." Luke commanded, but Joey just shook the large law off his shoulder and stood still. "I told you to g..."

"I fucking heard you ass wipe!" Joey yelled out, "But I'm here to make sure that somebody I love and care for is alright. So fucking shove the circular saw, up your ass!"

Luke eyes were turning red with rage as the Lion didn't do as he was told. He wasn't the alpha, he wasn't the dominant one, so this little bitch should do as he was told.

Luke was about to yell at the small golden lion, but Alex stepped in the middle of the two.

"S-Stop." He whimpered.

Joey sighed, shutting his eyes. Taking the husky's paw and sitting him down on the bed.

"What are you doing, go out and do your job!" Luke growled.

"I will leave when you go and get Jessie." Joey said looking right up and staring daggers at Luke.

"No, you will go an..."

"GET FUCKING JESSIE!" Joey screamed out, taking Luke off guard. Luke was silent as he took in what had just happened. A brain had just yelled at him. The omega had just gave the alpha an order. That wasn't supposed to be. "Luke." Joey growled, "Go. And. Get. Jessie. Now!"

Luke and Joey stared at each other. The dominance was obviously in Luke's favor, but Joey didn't let down. He kept his glare. Kept his glare at the two, domineering, angry eyes that felt as if they were burning through him.

"Fine..." Luke growled, turning around and leaving with his fists balled.

"Thank you." Joey growled keeping his friend on the bed, wiping his nose and maw of the ruby, liquid oozing down his cheek and maw.

"Are you ok?" Joey asked,

"I-I'm f-fine..." Alex replied, "I'm used to being hit..."

"Alex, I swear to god." Joey growled with a raising voice, "One more time. If he hits you one more time. I will drag you to my house."

Alex was silent. He knew he was hurting his friend, he knew that his mate probably wouldn't care if he left... But he couldn't bring himself to leave.

He loved Luke, with all his heart. So how could he just leave?

"I-I'll make y-you a deal." Alex said, he felt as if he was about to lie to his friend. But at least it would give him some hope. "I'll tell him tonight, I will tell him if he hits me again, I will leave."

Joey sighed. He wished he could believe his friend. He really did. But, knowing the little husky, he would back down. But, instead of saying that, he would Just nod, give his friend a firm hug and an affectionate nuzzle.

"Deal..."

"Ok, I'm here." Jessie said as he walked through the door. He was pulling his pants up quickly, so it was very obvious he had been in the Porto-potty with Fin, getting the large animal off. Just like every brain would have to their builder today.

In this construction site, with all their other duties, the 'brain's' also had the job of getting the large animals off. It was considered 'dangerous' for a large animal to be horny in the construction site. For the stupid reason of 'just in case we decide to focus more on your ass then our job' as Zeak, the large Doberman put it.

But like it was explained. They decided to put up with it for the money. Did that make them whores? No. They hated doing it. Was it rape? No. Because half the large animals went slow enough for the animals to moan and half enjoy themselves.

"Let's have a look at that head honey." Jessie said sweetly.

"And make it quic..." Fin began with a large smirk on his face.

"I AM NOT THE MOOD TO HAVE MY BEST FRIENDS HEALTH BE LOOKED PAST BECAUSE YOU NEED TO GET OFF!" Joey yelled, making the large animal jump in surprise, "If you need to get off, fuck your paw. And plus. What are you two doing in here? It's against the rules. So get out!" The two animals looked at the golden lion, they knew the rules, but they chose to disobey them. "GET THE FUCK OUT!"

"Alright for god sake!" Luke said, taking Fin by his large dragonic, scaled arm and pulling him away.

"Thank you." Joey sighed looking towards his Husky friend who was looking up towards Jessie.

"Ok, well you won't need stitches sweetie, but I do suggest you take it easy. Just give Callum a brief briefing." Jessie said giggling at his joke, but joey groaning.

"That was awful!" Joey laughed shaking his head.

"I-It really was." Alex said smiling. Joey smiled at his friend, he was glad he was smiling. Even though he was just hit by somebody who was supposed to love him.

"There is that wonderful smile." Jessie said smiling,

"Um sweetie." Continued Jessie, looking over at Joey, "Could you get some Dettol and a wash cloth so we can, make him pretty again."

"Oh sure!" Joey explained, before walking towards the cupboard up on the wall at the very end of the room. He opened the door and began to fondel around, getting some rubber gloves, a packet of Cotten pads, and a bottle of antibacterial liquid.

"I do think you should go home after giving Callum the briefing." Jessie explained,

"I can even take him!" A familiar English accented voice chuckled from the door frame. Jessie and Joey looked over and have a kind smile, but Alex shook his head.

"O-Oh, it's fine. I can dr..."

"Oh hell no Alex!" Joey said firmly, "You will not be driving in this condition. So you can debrief this lion here, then he shall drive you home."

Alex went to disagree, but Joey gave him one of his famous, 'Do not fight me on this' looks. Alex knew there was no argument...

"O-Ok." Alex sighed in defeat.

"Good boy!" Joey giggled, as he walked over with all the things that were needed.

"Can I be of assistance?" Callum asked,

"We got this covered," Jessie giggled, "But Alex may need a paw to squeeze."

"Well I can go get his ma..."

"Hey! I got an idea, Callum, come hold Alex's paw." Joey interrupted, not wanting that bull anywhere his friend, "Luke is probably busy."

"Oh, um, alright." Callum said, a little unsure about this, but Joey seemed very... Keen to have him do it. So, he sat down on the right, to the husky and held his paw open for the little dog to place his paw inside.

Alex didn't seem to sure himself. He knew if Luke found out, he would be furious. But, he knew if he didn't, Joey would be angry, and Callum might get offended. He closed his eyes ass he slid his paw into the large one that Callum had. And he had to admit. As the big strong, soft caring paw closed around his. He felt something he hasn't felt from a strong man in some time.

He felt compassion. He felt care, he felt kindness and he felt as if this animal would take care of him.

He didn't know how he got all of that from simply holding the animals paw. He probably couldn't understand it if he did know. But as he looked up into the lions soft caring brown eyes. He knew that he could trust him and gave him a small smile as he gave it a small squeeze.

All the while, Callum held the small animals paw tight. He felt the need to make sure this little animal could trust him. He felt the urge to hug him tightly. To make him smile and laugh. He felt as if this husky needed to. But after hearing that lot of yelling before between Joey and Luke. He began to feel a little uneasy that Luke wasn't as sweet as seemed.

"Ok honey," Jessie began, his paws now covered with rubber gloves, and in his left paw a Cotten pad with a brown liquid absorbed into it. "I'm going to start now."

"O-Okay." Alex said, a little uncertain about this. But a small squeeze from the larger paw around his made him look over towards Callum who was smiling.

"Don't worry, squeeze as much as you like. I'm right here." Callum purred softly making Alex smile.

His tone and kindness making him think of an young Luke. When he was caring, when he was loving, when Alex could snuggle up to him and feel safe from any evils he had to hide from.

"Ok." Alex repeated himself, his tone more confident which gave Jessie the all clear. He softly brushed the Dettol over the wound that husky had, the liquid burning at Alex's wound making him whimper and squeeze at Callum's paw.

"It's ok, it's ok." Callum quickly swapping his paw and putting the other on the Husky's back. "It only burns for a short time." he softly reminded Alex who just nodded.

Joey on the other paw was smirking as he saw the large animal get closer to Alex. He knew this new guy had a little crush on Alex, and he hoped that maybe Alex had one to. Because then, maybe Luke could be put out of the picture. And that is what Alex needed. A new start with a mate who cared about him.

Jessie continued to wipe the Dettol over Alex's cut, while he kept clenching at the large paw around his. Callum was slightly worried about how deep the cut was, due to the amount of clenching the poor husky was doing. He was in a lot of pain, and all Callum wanted to do was hug him tightly and tell him it was all going to be ok.

He knew he couldn't due to Alex's mate, but the feels we're their. And that is was really counts.

"All done honey." Jessie said calmly, giving his friends head fur a friendly tussle. "Now, I just need to seal it over honey. Can you get me the sealer hun?"

"Yep," Joey nodded then padded away to the cabinet once agin to pull out a small white, white out tape looking contraption. Joey padded over to Jessie and pawed him the small object.

"Thank you!" Jessie giggled, taking the object and pressing the two sides together to make a small metal rectangle eject from the top, then with another press, the tip began to light up a neon blue.

"This place just has so much more technology then at England!" Callum said, curious about the small, glowing object that was moving towards Alex's cheek.

"Oh, this is cool!" Jessie giggled, "It seals the wound with heat, and it also painless which I don't completely understand myself." Jessie said as the neon blue connected with the cut. Jessie then pressed the two sides of Alex cheeks into each other slightly so the neon blue tipped contraption could seal the two together, while Alex just sat there hearing and smelling his skin burn.

"Wow!" Callum chuckled as he the little Husky had an unsure look upon his face. "What with the look?" Callum asked.

"I can smell and hear the thing running against my skin, but I can't feel a thing and it feels so odd!" Alex whined. The other three animals all laughed. "Shut uuuup!" Alex whined as Jessie took away the sealer from the animals cheek.

"There we go Hun." Jessie said, handing the white container over to Joey.

"Thank you." Alex said softly before wrapping his arms around his friend. Jessie just giggled and returned the embrace.

"You are more then welcome!" Jessie giggled, giving his Husky friend a quick squeeze. "So, like I said earlier, give Mr. Lion here the run down, then go home."

"Ok." Replied as he stood up slowly from the bed.

"Good boy for not fighting!" Joey giggled walking over to hugs his friend. Alex didn't respond to the joke. He just smiled, then walked out of the infirmary into the large first room where Zeak and Luke were waiting out the front doors.

Alex just sighed as he turned around, where all three animals had followed him out.

"Well, I have to get back to work." Jessie groaned, "You know where I will be if the sealer doesn't work." Jessie said with a quick raise of the eye brows.

"Ok.." Alex replied,

"I'll get back to work as well hun." Joey added, padding over to give his hurt friend a hug. "Once more, remember that." Joey whispered before nuzzling into his friend, "And remember your promise."

Alex just nodded before the two small animals walked out together, but as Jessie walked away with the large dragon, Luke just knocked on the glass and gestured Alex to come over with a smile.

Alex turned to Callum, told him he would be right back, then hurried out to his mate who turned his cheek and gave a small chuckle.

"God you are seriously weak and fragile." He huffed pushing Alex's face slightly.

"Get over yourself ass wipe." Joey growled,

"Oh yes." Luke chuckled turning to the small lion, "I already have our reservation in the toilets."

"Fuck you!" Joey laughed, "I'm not going in there with you at all! You have a paw, use it cunt!"

"Well then our little Alex is going to have a hard time tonight." Luke chuckled, pulling Alex into his thick chest, who gave a frightened whimper and closed his eyes.

"You fucking ass hole..." Joey growled, his back to the Bovine who only rolled his eyes.

"Well what will it be?" Luke asked, chuckling as he knew that Joey wouldn't do anything to out the small dog in danger.

Alex gave a soft whine as he saw Joey shaking. He that his friend was angry, upset and ready to rip his mates throat out. So, to avoid that happening, Alex looked up at the large bull.

"I'll take his place." Alex volunteered but Luke only shook his head.

"I don't want you. I want him." Luke said with a cute little smile on his face.

"... How about this?" Joey chuckled, "You get the fuck over yourself and treat your mate right, and I won't fuck up your machines and take your mate away from you."

Luke only laughed,

"He would only come back to me." Luke laughed "And you wouldn't dare fuck with my machines because you need money to live!"

Joey was silent for a bit. He knew he had no way to win in this fight. He knew the only way out of this was to just accept the bulls proposal... Even though he didn't want to even think abut that...

"Fine..."

Alex was nearly in tears at that point. His friend was about to be forced into having sex with his mate, who didn't want him... His own mate didn't want him.

"Well, go and debrief and I will see up I tonight my little whore." Luke said smiling as he leaned down to give him a small peck then walked off with Joey. Leaving Alex to watch, close to tears.

He knew he wouldn't be able to puck up the courage to stand up to Luke. But, sometimes he wished that he could tell Luke he wanted more respect. Alex just wanted to go back to how everything was before he got PTSD... Everything was so much simpler. When he had his mum and dad.

When Luke loved him...

When he felt love...

When he didn't have to put with Luke's constant attacks on him.

Sometimes Alex would wonder if Luke would care if he ended his life...

Something told Alex he wouldn't very much. But he knew that all his friends here would. He knew that Joey would blame Luke. He knew that he would cause more pain the good... And he didn't want that.

So, he would push through. He would out up with everything so that he could keep balance. So that every one could be happy in one way or another. Even if he wasn't himself.

He really didn't think it matter that much...

To be continued.
