Lace and Leather: Alpha's side

The strong arm pulled me close, a warm tongue licked my neck. I shivered smiled as I started waking up. I wormed my way out of his grip slowly and slipped out of his bed. I couldn't believe how long its been since I had met him.

I walked out of the room and headed to the shower. He wouldn't be up for another three hours. I felt guilty that he'd taken on a couple extra jobs so that I could go to school unhindered...

As the warm water cascaded through my fur, I couldn't help but reminisce on how it all started.

~Several months earlier~

I pulled the last box from the Prius my parents had purchased me as a graduation gift. The apartment I was moving into was up to standards, but wasn't the best looking place ever, and it was affordable, with the minimum wage job I got as a waiter at a bar down town.

After I arranged the boxes I waited for the moving van to show up. A couple friends were lending me a hand, we went halfies on the truck. They happened to be moving out a well so it was smart to just use the same van.

I pulled out my belongings, and they helped me set up my bed before they hit the freeway headed out of state.

After I settled in I hopped in my car and tailed the bus that was headed to down town just to see how long it took and where it stopped. My luck it not only stopped by the school but also by my job. I noted it and the times, which I would need to cross reference with my schedule later.

It was close to five when I pulled in to my job. I had stopped back at the house to grab a few things before I headed to work. I walked into the bar and looked at the bar tender, an old panther with... rainbow fur.

"Hey child." He said walking up to me. "Dear me, you have a very nice body."

"Uh..." I look around. "I think I walked into the wrong bar."

"No, no, this is right. I'm co-owner, Jasper didn't tell you about me I bet." He giggle gaily. "I'm Terrence, I'm glad you want to work here at Tail Waggers."

"I applied at TWC: Bar and lounge." I said.

"Precisely, Tail Wagger's Club: Bar and Lounge." He smiled and pulled me to a booth sitting me down. "You applied for the bartending job. I'll show you the ropes but first, you need your uniform."

He giggled more. "I'm so glad to have you, the outfit I have is perfect for you."

"Wait... What?" I was shocked. Honestly, I didn't understand. The jaguar was so, flamboyant, far from what I imagined for a bartender to be like. Not that I've been to many bars, but the movies show bartenders as tough, no nonsense men, not... flamboyant.

"Here you are." He brought out a lace bustier and short skirt smiling.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!!!" I stood up. "What is that?"

"Your uniform." The jaguar said smiling. "You don't like it?"

"I'm not a girl." I said to him.

"I know." He replied.

"I don't want to wear that?" I said looking at him. "I'm sorry but I don't think I can work here."

He shook his head sadly. "Oh that's a shame... You already accepted the job... you were supposed to start tonight too... that's a bad strike for someone with so little experience..." He sighed. "I doubt you have a second job, seeing as the economy is so bad." He shrugged. "You put in your resume you're going to school, tuition fee's must be rough, but I'm sure you can manage, seeing as your turning down a $12/hr job, which is well above the minimum wage level."

I groaned and sighed. "Can I at least wear, I don't know pants?"

"For the first month, and don't worry you wear a jacket over the top, it's part of the uniform as well." The jaguar smiled. "So glad you decided to stay." He grinned.

I walked into the back and changed. I stared at myself and regretted the fact I didn't line up several jobs. The corset fit well, shaping me out. The skirt would have barely covered to my thighs, the skinny jeans that he let me wear made me seem even more feminine.

I put on the jacket and walked out. The jaguar smiled. "Ah perfect it fits, though, I think black and silver would work for you, though it will clash with your fur." He giggled again and grabbed my arm marching me behind the bar. "Now, all the combinations for the drinks are here." He pointed to a paper on the hidden under an overlap of the bar top. "Follow that and you'll do fine. Also, the mixing cups are marked as well, you can't mess it up. For the shot glasses, I'll work on those for your first month so you can get used to making them."

The next hour was spent showing me around. It was a lot to take in. But soon Jasper arrived and then other workers all of which were female. They talked and chattered happily before they headed into a back room to get changed. I stood behind the bar and sighed heavily as I wiped it down.

"You the new guy?" One of the girls asked smiling at me. She leaned on the counter, her chest pressed forward towards me. I couldn't help but blush.

"The jobs not as bad as you think." A cute leopard said. "The pay is good and the managers treat us all like equals." She smiled. "I'm Rene, and that's Tasha," She pointed to the lioness that was smiling at me with her bountiful cleavage on the counters. "Some of the other girls are Luka, Micah, Shenay, and Allaina." She purred as she pointed to another lioness, a couple rabbits and a fox. "Ever need a hand give one of us a shout."

Her and Tasha walked away a bit of sway in their hips. I smiled. I could admit there were some fine points about the job.

When the night ended I had a few numbers from the patrons, a couple females and a few males. I smiled happily. It really wasn't a bad job working as a bartender, yeah the outfit was not my favorite but the environment was so open and welcoming. I felt comfortable there.

The roar of bikes echoed in the night. I glanced across the street to see another bar closing. There was so much leather, and testosterone, you could smell it in the air. Men laughed and cajoled the females as they walked by. They talked and laughed and all seem to hover around one bike before leaving.

When the area was clear I saw a very large male horse... no wolf... I shook my head. I couldn't believe I could see a hybrid like him. Some hybrids I've seen were disproportionate but he, size, structure, he blended all around. He looked amazing as he leaned up against a bike. The bike looked very plain compared to him but as a girl walked up and asked about it, he stroked the handle bars almost lovingly.

I shook my head as he mounted the bike with one of the females and drove off into the night. I walked to the bus stop and shook my head .

Between school and work I was pretty busy but I couldn't get that wolfhorse out of my head. I saw him every night I got off work, even if from afar. His bike changed on occasion. A new addition here, something missing there... I noticed each change, in the bike and in him.

For five months I watched him. I longed to at least once speak to him.

One night as I was getting off work I wasn't paying attention and bumped into a patron. His alcohol spilled all over my clothes. "I'm sorry." We said at the same time.

Tasha ran over. "Oh dear, you cant get on the bus wearing that." She said shaking her head. "I would give you a ride but I don't get off for a while... do you want to wait for me?" She asked. I knew she'd want to do more than drive me home, and honestly she scared me.

"No, I'll... wear my uniform home." I said with a deep sigh. "I have a jacket I can wear over it." I smiled and waved her away walking to the back room to change.

I took too long however, and the bus was leaving just as I stepped out of the bar. The next one wouldn't come for about thirty minutes and I didn't want to hang out in the bar. I glanced across the street. The bike of that wolfhorse was there. Glancing around I jogged across the street. I was a bit giddy. I had wanted to look at it for a while and since there was no one around I thought I might as well gaze upon it.

The bike looked amazing. There was so much love and care that had gone into this beautiful bike. I lightly touched it. Running my paws lightly upon it. If he takes this much care of a bike, I wonder how he treats his girlfriends or boyfriends I blush at my own thoughts. I gazed at the seat and wondered if I could sit on it.

"Hello there sweet thing, how are you doing tonight?"

I jumped and looked at the large wolfhorse walking towards me. I didn't know what to do, what to say. I just gazed up at him wondering if it was me he had spoken to.

"I saw you admiring my bike." He said softly, his eyes softened as he gazed at me and then he touched his bike speaking about it almost like a lover.

I looked over him, wide chest held in a tight black wife-beater, thick biceps, and neck. His wolfish muzzle on that tender horse face...

"How bout I take you for a ride on her?"

I was jolted from my gazing by those words. I blushed shyly, I could see his eyes admiring me. I had wanted to take the bike for a go and so I nodded. "Oh, um...that'd be nice." I said sheepishly.

He got on the bike. I moved to get on behind him as I'd seen another girl do when he took her for a ride.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Oh no sweetie, up here." He patted his thighs and I couldn't help blushing. My ears burned as I moved to sit in front of him. His chest was warm against my back as he leaned close. I bit my lip and inhaled his scent. He smelled wild, smelled rough, smelled like leather. I relaxed, for some reason I felt safe surrounded by him and his scent.

The world blurred to just the feel of him at my back, and the thrum of the bike, between my legs. I clutched the handle bars imagining myself driving the powerful bike, but for extra security I wrapped my tails around his waist. The blurred lights, the feel of the wind rushing past me, all of it was so, serene, so beautiful. I understood why people rode bikes, why they preferred it. I was so lost in the moment, I warned him too late about the turn.

He took it sharp and the bike tilted to the side. I felt like I'd fall off I gripped the bars and pressed against him. I stiffened as I heard his knicker and felt a bulge in his pants.

In honesty I didn't mind much, but we were coming to my apartment. "It's here." I said pointing to an apartment complex. He pulled over in front of the apartment. I slid off the bike slowly and shivered. My inner thighs were numb, so was my crotch. I smoothed down the skirt and turned to look at him. "Th-Thank you." I smiled sweetly and smoothed down my cheek fur. It felt plastered to my skin.

"How about we meet up sometime again, eh?" He approached me with and rubbed my arm. I looked up into his two tone eyes and smiled before blushing and looking down again. His card appeared before my muzzle. "The names Sheir by the way, Sheir Maxwell."

"I'm Alpha," I said my eyes looking into his. "Alpha Wolfling." I took the card and started up the stairs smiling, happy, hoping that maybe I'd get to see him again. I opened the door to my apartment and looked back at him a smile on my face. "I'll call you." I said walking in. I leaned against the door his card against my chest. I stayed there and until the roar of his engine was a distant sound of the night.

The next morning I held the card in my hand again, fretting over whether or not I should call him. Finally I picked up my phone and called him.

"Someone better be dead or dying." I jumped and nearly dropped the phone as he growled at me.

"Oh...Um, I'm sorry." I said sheepishly, "It's me Aliie; you picked me up last night." I wanted to smack myself for using my old nickname, I did it out of nervousness.

"Oh yes, I'm sorry." Came his rushed reply, the growl in his voice gone.

"It's ok," I murmured cautiously. "It's still rather early but I was wondering." I couldn't help the shyness in my voice. "Are you free this weekend?" I knew it was a long shot. I waited for him to shoot me down with a laugh and a "hell no".

"Yeah, I am." His deep voice said into my ear sending shivers down my spine. God this sire had a voice.

I was more nervous and muttered softly "Want to, I don't know, catch movie this Friday?" I played with my tail as I paced my bedroom. I got my check Friday after noon and didn't work that night.

I couldn't stop the smile after we hung up. We were meeting at the theatre later. The movies were going to be on him he had said. I smiled, and couldn't stop the giddy feeling in my stomach.

I went to work that night with a kick in my step. I had gotten a new outfit that gave me a bigger bust but I didn't care... I was really happy.

The next couple of days were almost a blur as I worked and went to school. When I got my check Friday morning I went a bought a new outfit one that was more tasteful. I smiled at myself in the mirror and got in my car. I was to meet with him soon.

When I got to the theatre he was already there, and he looked good in his casual wear. The look in his eyes had be a little, nervous though, but I approached him confidently. "Hey Sheir." I said offering him my paw.

He shook it, not really saying much. I don't think he knew who I was. "It's me Alpha." I chuckled nervously, half wanting to just go home at this point. "I decided to dress more normal since I'm not working."

Again he didn't say anything. I was starting to lose my nerve. I smiled at him and said. "So, what movie was it?" That got something out of him as and he walked towards the box office.

I was a bit depressed, but the fact that he didn't scream in my face was a good sign at least. I went to the concession stand and bought some treats just to ease the tension. I was smiling again when I walked towards him. He was smiling too as he offered to help me. I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.

When we sat down, I glanced up at him sheepishly. "Not what you thought, huh?" I said. I wanted to say more but... I didn't know what else to say.

"Hmm?" He looked at me curiously.

"Well you thought I was female. I could tell by your reaction. Truthfully, I'm sorry I tricked you, but at the same time not sorry." I couldn't help but touch his paw lightly, stroke it tenderly. I was nervous as hell. "That night, I had just got off work, my casual cloths had beer on them so I was wearing my uniform out. I work at Tail Waggers Club, in case you're wondering. I'm bartender slash host." My throat felt dry so I took a sip of my drink.

"I've seen you bike and always wanted to see yours up close," I blushed, "I've always been scared to ride a bike."

"So if another biker had approached you, you'd be here with them?" I felt a little insulted by the question, and tried to hide it.

"No, I specifically chose your bike, and well no one was around." The lights dimmed around us. I didn't know what else to say. "I've watched you, and I like the work you do."

The movie started and I decided not to say anything else, or move. The movie was a romantic one, I could tell by the start. It began with the marriage of two dragons. A big ceremony, and I let out a sigh. Gently I leaned against him, my arms wrapping around his. I felt him stiffen but he didn't shove me away. I smiled to myself and just enjoyed the moment.

When the movie was over I let him go and stood to gather the trash. He did the same. He was more at ease then when we entered.

"The movie was alright." He said as he bustled out onto the warm streets. "My friends misinformed me though, it wasn't as action packed as I liked."

I grinned. "Yeah it was too lovey-dovey, but then again, I kinda like that stuff. Overall, it as a good film."

I was going to head to my car but he stopped me and said "Wanna get dinner? My treat."

I chuckled and replied "I'll pay for myself, thank you."

After dinner, I was rather proud of myself, at least I knew he liked me as well. I was ready to head home for the night and reflect on the great time I had when he invited me to his place where we got drunk and made love, most of the night.

Now that I think back on it, it was a great day, one I doubt I would ever forget. We became friends that day, then lovers, and after a few months I moved in with him. He got two well-paying jobs and demanded I quit my job at TWC, mainly because he caught a guy pawing at my tails one night and he didn't like it. Honestly, neither did I. Now he helps pay for my schooling, and leaves me mostly open to do homework and other studies without much fuss.

I glanced at the calendar and smiled. His birthday was soon. I had a grand surprise for him. I had been saving all the money I could. Today I was going to buy it.

Sheir was still asleep. He was on his hooves all day yesterday at his two jobs, one as a mechanic the other as a factory worker. He was exhausted. I had offered many times to get a job, but he said he wanted me to focus on my education and not worry about money.

I looked at him on our California King, and leaned on the door jam. I felt so much love for him. I couldn't stop staring at him as he snored gently in our bed. He'd be so happy when he saw the bike. So happy.

Grabbing my stuff I headed to school leaving a not stating my plans for the day.

All throughout the day though, I couldn't concentrate. I could finally do something for him, We've known each other for about a year and had been living together for less than half that time. My ears blushed and I relaxed.

"Sheir!" I called out when I got him. He didn't answer so I searched the house for him. All I saw was a message on the white board stating that he had gotten called into to work and wouldn't be back till eleven. I sighed. It was seven now.

I was awoken at midnight by him picking me up off the couch. I groaned and nuzzled his neck. He smelled like grease. "Hey sweetie." I said wrapping my arms around him. He knickered in my ear and laid his head on mine.

"Sorry I'm late." He said in a sleepy voice. He carried me slowly to the bedroom as if afraid to drop me. "I stopped by the bar for a drink."

I shook my head. I really didn't mind it at all. "Mmmm, school got out today." I whispered. "My last class of the semester."

He laughed softly. "That was a dream baby, your class is in for another month. I have your schedule on the calendar." He held me one handed as he moved the blanket before he laid me down and pulled the blankets over me. "I'm going to shower."

I nodded and fell back asleep.

I was awoken at six by him getting up to dress. I sat up and grabbed his shirt. "You're supposed to be off today." I said with a pout.

"I know, but a couple of the guys called in and I'm on reserve today." He said and stroked my head.

"Come on, I got no classes today and we were supposed to go out." I whined. He leaned over and kissed me long and need. I still whimpered. Then he rose and left promising to be back by three.

I flopped back on the bed. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are supposed to be our days together since our schedules keep us away from each other. There were clothes to wash, dishes to clean. We always did it together before we rent movies, order pizza, and cuddle on the couch.

That plan obviously was ruined today, so I went on the cleaning spree by myself. The phone rang as I scrubbed the dishes in my apron and gloves. With a growl I put down my sponge and the pot and walked to the wall phone. "Good Afternoon, may I ask who is calling?"

"This is Jonathan Mathews from Road Warrior Bike's and Repair shop." My tail wagged as he spoke his name and business. "May I speak to... Alpha Wolfling?"

"This is he." I said eagerly.

"Hey Alpha, I'm calling to confirm the delivery date of the bike. You said you wanted it delivered, the..." There was some clicking. "The fifteenth of November, correct?"

"Yes." I said.

"Uh-huh." He typed in his computer. "You said in the email this bike is a gift right, so you want a bow on the handle bars?" He asked.

"No, just deliver it as is." I said.

"Would a card be added to the gift?" He asked.

"No, no, I have one ready." I smiled. "I thank you very much for the work you've done on the bike."

"It was my pleasure." He sounded pleased. "The bike is already loaded and ready for shipping. I wanted to clear up a few tidbits before I sent it out."

"Thank you again. I can't wait till it gets here." I grinned. "I already sent the final payment."

"We received it this morning. You overpaid by almost a hundred dollars, should I send it back?" He asked. Honesty. I liked that.

"No that was a tip. Thank you though." I smiled.

We hung up after a few more words. I sighed and wandered back to the dishes. It was only a week. I was having it delivered Thursday after Sheir went to work. He would be on a ten hour shift that day, mechanics first then towing. It gave me time to set up the party. All of his friends were already in on the deal.

Sheir came home later that night. He was exhausted and tired so I didn't push the dinner and movie thing. He showered I cooked and things were a-okay, for the most part.

The week past like a slug, I was so eager to for Sheir birthday to come up. I almost screamed or cracked. I spent a lot of time buying party supplies, and alcohol, but mainly party supplies. I straightened up the guest bedroom, and even adjusted the couches, putting new sheets on them. Sheir often didn't take notice. Too busy.

When Thursday came and Sheir went to work I called both of his bosses. After tonight he'd have a good solid month off of work. I wondered if they would make the party. They assured me they would. I smiled happily.

Just as I started to call Sheir's friend who worked at Chili's there was a knock on the door. I rose from the table and opened it. A goat in a white jumpsuit and a ball cap smiled at me. "Are you Alpha?" He asked.

"Yes I am." I said.

He held a clipboard out to me. "Good, I'm from Road Warrior, we brought your bike." He grinned at me.

I lit up. The bike was here. I signed for it and watched as another goat road a mini forklift and took a large wooden box from the back of a van. I opened the garage and they gazed upon the bikes Sheir already had. "Damn, I see why you got this bike. You got like, three decades of bikes."

I showed them where to place the box. I didn't need to look in, I knew what they had delivered. I had been in on the planning and had sent them numerous pictures on how the bike should look.

After the men pulled away I set to decorating his, no our back yard. A couple of hi- our friends were picking up the cake, my job was to only get the surprise ready.

By six, the house was ready, everyone had arrived and was mingling. I kept the alcohol hidden so that that bash didn't start before Sheir arrived.

At seven I heard the familiar roar of Sheir's pride and joy, Arryn. He pulled into the drive way and everyone hid. I sat on the couch watching a nice cooking show.

Sheir walked in and stretched. "Damn, long day today." He said as he walked towards me. "Mmmmph, I made it in time for movie night at least." He grinned.

Everyone jumped up as he rounded the island. "SURPRISE!!!" They screamed. I watched every hair on him stand, as he jumped up, dropping his helmet and his keys on the ground.

I rose up with a wide grin. "Happy Birthday, Sheir." I said walking over to him. I rose on my tiptoes to place a kiss on his lips. He was shocked for a few but a grin spread across his muzzle.

"Damn, I forgot." He said and kissed me again. "Let me shower, then the party can start." He took off towards the bathroom, and I followed him, my tails swaying behind me.

He stood in the bedroom in only his briefs. He brushed his hair from his face as he sighed. "You ok?" I asked softly.

"I forgot my own birthday." He said and looked at me. "I wasn't expecting this. I mean... it hasn't been a full year since we started going out." He walked over to me and smiled. "Thank you." He smiled.

"Don't thank me till the main event." I said and stepped into his arms, pressing my body to his.

He chuckled. "Mmmm can I get a preview?" his voice dropped to a husky whisper. His paw drifted down to my rump. I chuckled and spun out of his arms and kissed his cheek.

"No previews." I said and walked out. I attended to the guest, checking on the snacks and drinks. Everything was going great. When Sheir came out in his casual best that's when I brought out the cake.

Happy birthday was sung and the cake cut into. As everyone devoured the pieces, the gifts were paraded before Sheir. He blushed under his fur, and I couldn't help but giggle at the cuteness of it.

When all the gifts had been given, and the paper thrown away, hugs and punches, and yes even the skillet spanking (it took half the guests to pin him down) all eyes turned to me.

Sheir wasn't expecting anything more from me, I could tell. "Hun, there is one more gift." I said softly.

"Oh... That can wait, I mean." He wiggled his eyebrows. Everyone laughed, including me.

"Not that." I said. "Come with me."

He rose, a little skeptical. "What else can you do for me?" He asked.

I walked into the garage and flipped on the light. The wooden crate stood untouched in the center of the floor. A crowbar at the ready.

"What's that?" He asked me his ears perked.

"Open it and see." I said.

He grabbed up the crowbar and walked to the box. He ran his paw along it, as if trying to guess what could be inside the box. Finally he put the crowbar into a seam and pushed. The nails squeaked as they were forced from the wooden binding. It took a few see-saw movements before the wood popped up and the box fell open.

The bike sat like a black shadow. The chrome gleamed in the artificial light. The body of the bike was shaped like a wolf, the front fender was a horses head. A graceful arch of a horse tail made up the rear fender. The front legs were the deadly claws of a wolf while the rear were intimidating hooves. The hand bars were made to look like reigns, and the light, was in the beasts eyes, making it look wild and untamed.

Sheir walked around the bike, his eyes wide with wonder. His paw gently caressed the seat, which was made to look almost like a saddle. I smiled at it, and at Sheir as he swung his leg over and sat down, getting a feel for the new bike.

"It's the newest model." I said walking over. "I bought it and sent it to another company to have it customized. I wanted to give you something that represents who and what you are.

He looked at me and grinned. "Thank you." He said and dismounted to kiss me long and deep. We heard woots and catcalls from the doorway and the garage opening. I laughed and nuzzled into Sheir's chest.

The rest of the part was just as eventful, especially when the beer came out. The party kicked up a notch and I could only watch as everyone partied till the late hours of night.

Most everyone stayed the night that night, and I knew I would have a big mess in the morning.

"I love you." Sheir murmured as I crawled into bed. His arm wrapped tight around me, his tongue caressed the back of my ears.

I moaned and rolled over to kiss him back. "I love you too." I said with a grin.

So much will happen in the future, but I know, we will always be together.
