He sighed the next three weeks were going to be very dull and lonely. Each year around Christmas (the holidays if you wanna be politically correct about it.) The Case's sent everyone home with either a nice holiday bonus (cash money) or their choice of one of the Pokémon from the field. (Just so long as someone else hadn't already bought it. Many Pokémon received in this way became gifts to nieces and nephews or sons and daughters. Andy lived alone his parents were no longer of this world and he was an only child. When he realized what Joel was suggesting a smile crossed his face. "Thanks for telling me it occurs to me I haven't claimed my Holiday bonus yet." and with that he turned to the main house to claim his prize.
