SINGULARITY : chapter 3 : what is happening!?
now , maxwell continues his exploration around an unknown place of unknown time , will maxwell
conquer his fears and fix this problem once in for all?
CHAPTER 3: UNKNOWN PLACE, UNKNOWN TIME
Maxwell's ear drooped down , as he prepares to open the door , his slowly reached the door knob of the door , while the banging and growling was still continuing on.
Then all of a sudden , the door was slammed right open in the other side , and Maxwell was tossed down to his knees , he was surprised but still focused , and looked up , and saw , another furry cat , he couldn't recognize the full description because the feline was completely covered in blood and his body was not normal , it was completely disembodied ,and his arms was typically mutated, he was shocked , he hasn't seen anything like this before , the furless monster roared to him before it ranned towards him and Maxwell's thought fast and grasped his weapon and looked at the monster.
He has never killed another furry before nor has he never killed a living being. But he got to his senses,... and pulled the trigger that was followed by a loud BANG!, and then the monstrous-looking feline came falling down to his foot and eventually died.
Maxwell walked slowly towards the body , with his gun still in sights. But he slowly put the weapon down, witnessing a feline monster, he was now self-conscious and regretted killing the furry, he looked sadly at the feline.
Then Maxwell brought out his t.m.d. he let it scanned the body and then the results appeared , the t.m.d. beeped
"Mutation level 3, singularity radiation positive"
Then again , the word "singularity" was heard , he was again now confused , and started to explore again , now that he knows that it was the laboratory that he used to happily work on. He now got to the exit , and went out the streets.
The atmosphere was like a post-apocalyptic war , clouds were dusty and looks like blood-red color ,the streets were filled with debris, war tanks and war vehicles can be seen abandoned everywhere , windows of many buildings were barricaded, some houses and structures has been destroyed , and anything you could think of as a result of a war.
He was devastated to witness this kind of situation , he slowly walked around the streets still bothered of what happened. Even though he will try to travel back to his current time, the t.m.d. has insufficient energy and power to bring him back.
So he will try to find his comrade, Daniel, to help him come back. but as he walked uphill , a chopper passed by between a two collapsed building, then followed by two streaming jets , all going in the same direction. He tried to see what's going on over the horizon, and moments later , he got to a hill where it overlooked the city ,and witnessed from a far , a tower with a beaming laser like lights that was being put out into the sky. Maxwell has never seen this tower before , nor he has seen the clouds behaving so differently near the tower.
Maxwell quickly knew that something was wrong and he concluded that probably , he travelled trough a rift in time . a rift is a term in time travelling in which ,"rifts " are created when a person's destiny/the time is separated into different timelines that each has different begginings/endings/story etc. and so Maxwell probably got into the wrong rift. He opened his t.m.d by his wrist. And asked the t.m.d. , "state what rift I am in current time?" then the t.m.d. answered "correct rift" , he was confused , he cannot accept that this will be the future of the world.
So he looked further more downhill. As he walked down a steep street , a parade of tanks and soldiers appeared in the other end of the road , he was so happy to see those soldiers , so he waved his hands over and shouted "hey!! Im over here!!" , then one of the passing soldiers got his attention , then Maxwell was so pleased , he ran down towards the parading soldiers , but suddenly the soldier who had noticed him brought out his gun and pointed it at him , Maxwell suddenly stopped and realized that it was an enemy soldier , then at a moments notice , the soldier pulled the trigger , and hit maxwell right in his shoulders , the pain brought him down to his knees with agony in his face , then the soldier called out some back-up then rushed towards him , still down on the ground , Maxwell was applying pressure on his shoulders shot-wound when he saw a group of people ranning towards him , he couldn't move for the fact that he was shot badly, then the soldiers finally reached him and hit him with the other end of the gun in front of his face that left him unconscious.
