Damage Done
This is the first story that I have ever made to put on the Web, especially for the fandom. This is Part 1 of a mutli-part story. Not sure how many parts this thing will have, matters on how I'm feeling and how it's going. Later parts of this story with have yiff them. The story is based slightly Off of a RP from long back that I did from a great friend of mines (Twilight Master) and this would be the a continuing of that RP. Contains Emoness and some sadnees I Hope you enjoy it.
- * * In the darkness of the night, in a low-lighted room laid a sullen soul. This soul, this being restless in his chair, staring blankly into the ceiling of his home, his mind everywhere, but yet focuses on one thing. His golden eyes were dulled, tear stains leading downwards from them to his chin, only to drip off and form a puddle on the floor. "Why is fate so unfair to me" the being said, only himself hearing the question. He let his eyes close for a moment to free them from the strain of looking at the wall ahead of him. He moved his neck a little to adjust his sights back, his collar make small noises, the word "Exon" engraved on the metal oval screwed on the red band of the collar. Exon stirred lightly as his mind continued to repeat the question that he had been thinking for the last two hours, all of them negative and degrading to his self-esteem. Exon knew that thinking this way wasn't good at all and that it only caused him and his friends more pain, but didn't know what else to do anymore. His friends told him that he would just keep spiraling downward until he hit rock bottom. Exon didn't think much farther as he was interrupted by a noise. "Daddy....I can't sleep" a little and familiar voice said to him. Exon move slightly from his seat to turn and see his daughter, she rubbing one of her eyes and holding her blanket. Exon couldn't help but form a smile on his face, seeing her made him very happy. Quicker than he had better earlier, Exon pushed himself off the chair and turned, walking over to his little girl and picking up the little bat. He rested her on his arm and walked back to her room, giving her little kisses on her forehead and cheek as he talked to her. "Were you having any bad dreams, sweetie?" he said, walking into her room. The little bat shook her head, "Not uh daddy......I just couldn't go into dreamland like you told me too", she replied, holding Exon closely as they reached her small bed. She signed softly as he laid her back onto her bed gently, giving her one last kiss on the forehead. He tucked her in and smiled again, looking at his beautiful angel before him. "I hope I wasn't keeping you up Scarlet....," Exon Said. "No Daddy, you weren't.....It's just that I can't wait for Tomorrow....the Sun will be up and then we can do stuff together." She replied, smiling gently. Exon nodded slightly and kissed her good night. He headed to bed, crying again as his heart started bleeding emotionally.......he finally sleeping as his tears dried on his face and blanket. The alarm on the desk went off with a rather annoying noise, waking Exon but not surprising him as usual. A loud yawn erupted from the sleepy moondog as he pushed himself from off the pillows and onto his bottom. One of his paws reached up and rubbed an eye absent-mindedly as his brain started to regain all function and thought. He then rolled out of bed and gradually got to his feet, heading to the bathroom with a snail's pace. After taking a shower and getting some basic clothes on, Exon headed towards his den area with a more, lively pace. As he moved onwards, he could hear noises from his daughter's room, probably the water running or the bath. Scarlet jumped joyfully onto her little booster stool to reach up and grab her toothbrush and brush her teeth. She knew that her father would be going to the kitchen and cook breakfast for the two of them, and hopefully today, he would cook her favorite, steak and waffles. Just the thought of her favorite foods caused her to bounce up and down as she was brushing. Scarlet finished quickly, dropping her toothbrush in the sink as she turned and ran to the kitchen, to see if Exon had started yet. As she moved quickly to the dining room, she hear the front door's bell go off and the door open. The bat stopped and turned back towards the front door. As she rounded a corner, she got full view of the visitors. Nephrite, Exon's sister and Midnight, Nephrite's son was coming in. Exon had opened the door for them and was letting them in. Scarlet started to grin as she made eye contact with Midnight, who was already looking back at her. Midnight then got a shy smile on his face, the sight of his cousin already telling him that she was already creating a plan to have so fun, trouble-filled as usually. However, quickly his worries were dashed as he listens to his mother's conversation to his uncle. "Exon, we didn't come here to visit......I need you....and Scarlet to come with me" Nephrite said, a deep concern on hir face. "Really? Is this a problem," he replied. "Yes....a very important....problem.........I'll explain on the way to my house" shi told him as shi turned around, taking Midnight's hand and walking back to hir car. "Must be really important.........Scarlet, get your jacket and come outside....we're going with your aunt somewhere" Exon said to his daughter. "Alright, daddy" she answered back, bouncing slightly as she headed back to her room, wondering what was going on. She quickly came back with a purple jacket on over here dark blue t-shirt as she went with her father to his car. Nephrite took Midnight and placed him inside hir car and got inside on the driver side. Exon walked over from his front door, locking it but not closing it as he walked over to his sister's car and got inside on the passenger. Scarlet quickly got out of the house and closed the door, skipping happily as she went to the car and opened it, sitting down next to Midnight and Nephrite started the car and pulled out of the driveway, wasted no time driving to hir house, slightly going over the speed limit but nothing too extreme. After about 20 minutes, they arrived at hir abode, a medium-sized, 3 bed and 2 bath, house. Nephrite drove up the drive away and parked the car, turning it off as shi got out and helped hir son get out of the car. Exon followed suit, getting out and then getting his own daughter out of the car as the four of them headed to the backdoor of the house. "Exon.......I'll watch the kids outside....I think it would be better if you went in alone...to my bedroom." Nephrite told him as shi softly pushed the cubs to the nearby trampoline. "Alright, sister..." Exon replied as he opened the door and then closed it behind him, going through another door and 2 flights of stairs before arriving at the bedroom door. He gave going inside one last thought, but quickly dismissed it as he grabbed hold on the doorknob and open it, walking in slowly. "Hello there Exxie.....nice seeing you here", an alluring and familiar voice said. At that Moment Exon turned and saw the owner of the voice and he frowned slightly. "Yorae......the Dragoness...."
