Shin and Light - Chapter Two

Kris: Turn loose the heaven within.

The sun had barely broken the horizon, shadows still draping the conference room. An array of officials circled a great oak table, chairs of laquered wood, trimmed with precious metals providing seating, guards fully armoured despite the heat at the doorway to the white dome shaped construct. A chandleir radiated a firey glow, revealing the surface of the central piece of furnature to be one great map of the kingdom and the bordering countries on the continent; papers littered it, crimson seals and golden ink adding colour to the mix. The men themselves were of all status and stature, few bearing like species, yet all noble in conduct and forward in action, though among them were those with tongues of which vipers would be proud, and also those few sheep in wolves clothing. Shin rose, his exclaimation silencing the murmers of unrest about him. "How can we refuse them sanctuary? Their allied forces were among our key assets during the seronian war, the debt must be repaid!"

A jackal stood, opposing from the opposite end of the table, crimson robes a hellish contrast to dusty fur, "Silence! You who are not even of age have no right to speak in this council of elders. The young are to be protected and in the protection of -children- such as you we shall deny them."

Rowen growled, hazel eyes alight with a familiar flame, "Those who we would turn away are no older than my cousin, younger infact; two members of the Aran aristocracy that have fled to us to call for aid now that their country is overrun by the Elarians. After their efforts for us in the past you would turn away two members of an allied nation? Two females: Children as you said."

A rumble as a fox spoke from the far end of the board, those arguing falling silent, "Dest must maintain neutrality, this is not our conflict..." Shin and Rowen looked away, "However, if you would suffer these northerners then they are permitted to stay within the complex in which you reside... As for the 'war', no action is to be taken until our scouts return from the front... I shall not act until we have discerned our enemy. This meeting is adjourned."

With the muttering of "Chancellor." each man rose, filing out between the raised swords of the doormen. Two women garbed in black waited outside within a small alcove, each elder staring in turn as they passed until Rowen paused before them - the last of the queue as the guards bolted the gate. Shin squinted, in such clothing not even their race was clear.

"You have been given leave to stay with us..." Rowen gave one of his typical grins, "So no worries ok? Leave it to me and Shin."

"You have my thanks, I feared that we would be turned out and-"

"What of Aran?" The taller interrupted.

"We are doing all that we can... But the council will not act without justification." Shin looked away.

"Then you receive no thanks from me. Sara, let us retire to wherever these useless buerocrats have prepared..." She turned, herding away the shorter figure who spared them a swift bow.

"What a stuck up, self rightous piece of..." Rowen shook his head. "Ah well, just the way it is I guess..."

"You have my thanks for enabling me to rejoin the council... Thank god that my brother's were absent. Those nobles though - if you bear common blood they would well spit on you, foreign nations no different. I fear for the younger, she lacks the assertiveness of her sister."

"Relax, ungrateful or not I shall protect them. Both of them." he sighed, "They're just lucky that they're so damn attractive under those wraps."

Light sighed glumly, turning away from his sleeping companions and staring through one of the windows. The sun had reached its zenith, its powerful heat creating unfavourable flying conditions, slowly rising winds would soon rob them of any visibility as sand was caught in its breeze. The great wall spread out on either side, the abandoned guardhouse a perfect place to recouperate after their journey, a cool and dark haven where they could lie undistirbed until the night. Light permiated the green material nailed over the open viewing points, dappling the other six dragons with the colour, only Wind's hide remaining unchanged. Multiple reed and fur mats covered the floor of the sandstone building: though the furnature had been removed, the display of colours and light gave the area a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. He lowered his head to the sil, staring through the narrow gap in the cotton towards the horizon. ~ Why in hell did I let her watch that...? The first time that she sees her master, mine is... ~ He chuckled ironicly, ~ Guess I've no chance now - At least she only saw the first half though. If Shadow hadn't fallen back to hurry us up then... She must really hate me... ~

~ Hate who? ~ Water couldn't help but snigger as Light almost fell out of the window. She moved up alongside him, nosing his neck gently in greeting. Almost a foot lesser in length than her peer, as most of the females of her race were, his presence highlighted her slimmer form; Wings longer yet less broard, shell like ears flat against her neck, blue body contrasting with the yellowed rock magnificently.

~ I... How long have you been awake? ~ Light withdrew his head, spreading his wings slightly to soften the thud as he dropped onto one of the fluffier brown rugs. He glanced up as he landed to ensure that none of the others had woken.

Water dropped down beside him. ~ Long enough to get the gist of your musings. ~

Light winced, dropping his head into the fur to conceal his blush. Against his silver scales though there was little hope of her missing it. ~ I don't half regret it... The monologue you caught and being foolish enough to randomly tap Shin's mind. ~

~ I don't regret it... ~ Light became aware of how close she was, ~ It makes me feel less guilty. ~

The white dragon gulped, swiveling his neck to note that she was right beside him, her side brushing up against his wing, a cerulian gaze to mirror her masters fixed upon him. ~ Guilty? ...About what?~

~ This. ~ Light met a blast of realisation, his face barely having enough time to brighten before she tackled him, rolling him over his side and onto his back. He looked up past her instinctively, noting how fortunate he was that the surface was so soft as Fire stirred, scratching his ear before returning to his slumber. Deciding to seize initiative he placed a finger below her neck, guiding her up him and allowing them to meet in the form of a kiss. He was so lost in those few moments that he failed to notice a regular grinding motion against his hip, it was then that the wet sensation, and her own wimpers awoke him. He snorted quietly, sliding a clawed hand slowly down her neck, passing the wing joint slowly, teasing until she simply grabbed his wrist and placed his palm over her crotch.

He raised his head, looking down to notice that the inside of her legs were already soaked, he slowly slid his middle finger into her, Water instantly bucking up against him, ~ Damn... You do need it bad... ~ He started a pulsing motion to match her thrusts, letting her do the work allowing him to increase the speed of his work as she gripped his neck tightly, shivering as he added another finger, her motion ceasing as she moaned as loudly as she dared as her first orgasm began to build. Sensing this, he withdrew, much to her protest, ~ Come on... Tell me how much you want it. ~

She had already began to paw herself the second that he had stopped, ~ Right now. Or I swear I'm gonna cut you. ~ Light reply was as simplistic as bending down the squirming body and disengaging her hands. He breathed deep the scent that clearly told him that it was 'that time of the century' before inserting his snakelike tongue into her, pumping it and twisting it into a spiral that he knew she would love. The result was instantanious; legs clamping about his ears, smearing the wetness into his cheeks, an influx of the nectar from which he now drank and a slight whining noise as she exhaled, tension leaving her and after almost a minute allowing him to free his head. He moved up her, pinning her legs with his knees now that she was too weak to resist, closing to eye level with her as his tip, heavy with pre brushed against her clit. ~ C... Come on... Finish... it... ~ She issued the statement almost like a challenge, drawing an uncharactoristicly evil grin from the other dragon as he slid his legs back and slowly decended, growling as his ribbed dragon meat decended into her. Desperate for some release he hilted, pulling back and claiming her with vigour that had 'you asked for it' clearly in mind. He couldn't help but break his act with a kiss, his longer tail curling about hers, wings unfurling and providing additional support as he began to pant into her muzzle. Blessed with such stamina and restraint he counted each of her orgasms as they past, each more violent than the last as claws scratched against his back. Finally he could take it no longer, hilting a final time and enjoying the sensation of mixed fluids running past him and onto the drenched rug. His triumphant grin faded as he furled his wings to reveal the five other dragons watching them.

Earth gave him a thumbs up. Shadow left the room.

Kris yawned, laying back contentedly against Shin, placing her hand over the arm that covered her stomach. The two were lying together on that same recliner, chuckling among themselves as they observed Rowen, uncharactoristicly buried to the neck in paperwork yet still bearing enough flair to make the glasses perched on the end of his nose look good. He sighed and removed them, shuffling the documents together before blinking lazily. He shifted his seat into a reclining position, his own chair brushing against theirs and stared back, "What?

Shin smiled, shifting an arm to place under his head as Rowen curled up, "The image of you working rather than wondering around with your latest catch in your arms is a new one."

The wolf scowled, "Just because you got the girl for a change..." He dropped the mock act and settled for matching Kris' earlier yawn, "I doubt you've even done anything anyway..."

Kris interjected, "We havn't?" She guided Shins arm up her chest, grinning as the wolf gulped audiably. Breathing in slightly she let his hand slide beneath her shirt, turning away from Rowen and kissing Shin.

"You *have* to be kidding me... Shin, you didn't-" he cut off his question as his friend broke lips long enough to nod, Kris panting softly, "Oh god..." He got to his feet, regaining some of his lost vigour and patting him on the back, "You sly little... Heh, just as well, she aint my type. I... Uh... I gotta go. I promised that I would meet someone." There was silence for a few moments, followed by the sound of a door being pulled to.

"Three minutes to freak him out, that must be our best yet." The fox chuckled, taking his hand out from under her shirt, "We can continiue this later... Could you check if our guests are hungry? I should set us up some supper."

"If I didn't like your cooking so much, theres no chance that I would let you waylay me until tonight..."

"So... You wanted the fox huh?" Yura smiled at her sisters blush, letting her hand brush against her cheek, "Too bad... I could smell that Kris girl all over him." She lay her head back down on the bed, sighing dejectedly as she swept her gaze over her surroundings. The room bore a similar layout to any other on the complex's dormitory: Great windows covering an entire wall, the suns finale providing dim light. Against one of the walls, a huge bed, lavish as the rest of the palace, a four poster large enough for four; the remaining sides of the room covered with landscapes of natural scenery, water trickling from a small ornate fountain in a corner. The combination of the whites and crimsons gave the room a homely feel, yet the splash of colours seemed to have a more latent lusty theme.

"So that leaves you with..." Sara snorted jovially as Yura rolled her eyes, "The wolf." She lay down beside her, folding her arms on her stomach, "There's something odd about him... Something unfamiliar."

"Well, you're the oracle." The elder placed an arm under her head, rolling on to her side, "You like him?"

"I perfer you." Yura raised an eyebrow. It was unlike her sister to be so forward yet her surprise was short-lived as she rolled over her, caught in a kiss, tongues probing gently, lovingly. Desperate in the midst of heat almost six months ago, the pair had simply resolved to provide any 'carnal relief' for eachother until potential mates came along. Unfortunately - Yura gasped as hands sought out each of her breasts - *fortunately* rather, Sara had proven to be a nympho, even coaxing what she could out of her sister as they fled to Dest.

"Oh... My... God..." Kris punctuated each word by adding another finger to herself, she watched from the crack in the doorway - none of them ever seemed to close properly. Finally she was able to pick out their race: Hares. Short grey fur flushed close to the body, the younger sister smaller and less developed already had the elder on her back, tracing her fingers through the fur covered breasts, lips breaking from Yuras to allow her to close a mouth on the sensitive nub. Kris echoed the gasps, watching the two females a rather unforseen turn on. A weight leaned down across her back. Recognising Shin's scent she felt a palm run down the back of her arm, closing on the reverse of her hand, taking over her task as they watched events unfold.

She paused an inch away from her sisters crotch, smiling as she sensed the presence of the couple. Sara moved her sisters legs, spreading them while kneeling to give them a better view of them both, raising her hips, she extended her tongue, sliding the tip along the moist hole, feeling her own wetness begin to dampen her fur. Blood trickled from her partners lip as she bit it to stifle her groans, only high pitched wimpers escaping her. Cleaving through with only the tip of her tongue she cupped one of her own breasts taking care of herself as she bowed lower, placing her lips to her sisters throbbing organ and extending her tongue, brushing her nose up against her clit, face fur providing a pleasant tickling feel for the other hare. Removing a lubricated finger from herself she moved it up to Yura, bending it slightly before slowly sliding it in with a spiral motion, striking as much of the inner walls as possible. Losing the composure that tempered will alone had imbued her with, she cried out, breath catching in her chest as the finger pumped, tongue tip performing its dance across the bared flesh. Close surprisingly quickly she moaned in distress as Sara desisted, moving herself with speed un-natural to lay her body across the other hare, tail hovering above the wetness that decended onto a waiting muzzle, groaning as she returned to her task.

"I never carded you as the voyer type..." Shin continiued to pump Kris through her orgasm, allowing her to sit back against him as the strength left the vixen, "But I like it."

Sara lapped up the fluid leaking from her sister, approaching her own climax as Yura started to relax from her bodies new tension. She initiated wimpers of her own as she guided the other down from her heights, enjoying these rare instances of dominance yet still submitting to her own need, grinding her crotch against the muzzle, already far beyond her point of no return, an exultant cry tearing itself from her throat as waves of pleasure coursed through her, collapsing her weight for a brief moment before being heaved off and back onto the soft silks. "Urgh.... God, I needed that."

Shin smiled, poking Kris' cheek as his grin broke into a chuckle. She was out cold after her second orgasm, lying limply against him, hair obscuring her face, fur matted by sweat. He reached down, lifting her in the same way that her had on the day of their meeting, tail hanging limply below her, he returned her to their quarters.

Rowen lay back against the stone, staring absently over the city while stroking behind the ears of the golden-brown dragon curled up on his chest. The first stars began to twinkle into existance, a full silver moon breaking away from the horizon, secreting its reflected light over the area. He sighed contentedly: From his perch he felt like he could reach out and grasp the land that he loved so much in his hands. Only the dying whistling of the winds and the gentle trickle of water flowing from the fountains broke the silence. "So... Why were you so late meeting me here?"

Earth stretched luxuriously, opening a sleepy eye, ~ Why ask? I know that you were watching... You'd be late too if you had woken up during- ~ He was interrupted by a soft thud as something landed behind his master. Looking up, he summed up a smile as Fire nuzzled him, her more spectral form evidence that she had connected to the man beside her. Rowen got to his feet.

Crimson wings erupted from the back of the lion's back, oddly matching his soft orange-brown fur and white shirt. A tan belt held up similarly coloured loose trousers, a tan jacket providing additional warmth against the nights cool; eyes like the embers of a dying flame surveying the wolf and two dragons. "Any luck?"

Rowen turned and sat on the ledge, shaking his head as the lion dropped down and sat rigidly beside him, "Only the same old rumours... Cross seems to have some connection to the insurgents that brought Aran down aswell."

Xain closed his eyes, "They're running an underground tournament this week in the poor district. Slave traders, corrupt officials, gang leaders... All of the companies major players are going to be together in one place."

Rowen turned to face him, ignoring the rapid chatter of the two dragons behind them, "You're not planning on entering are you?" He engaged his eyes as he nodded, "That's suicide! The chances of winning all of your rounds is virtually non-existant - one slip up and you're dead."

"Yet if I win then I can get close to whoever is running Cross." He looked away.

Rowen chuckled, "Ever the altruist..." He got to his feet, "Looks like I'm entering too then. You'll need support reguardless of what stratagem you manage to concoct."

The lion treated him to a rare smile, clsping his hand before facing the horizon. "Tomorrow. Same time. Same place." He dove over the edge, Fire gliding after him as he dissapeared into the shadows of the sky.

Rowen yawned, placing a hand on the back of Earth. Within a few moments similar bat-like wings encased his back, his bearing a brighter, golden hue. He turned towards the palace and took off. "I wonder how long until Shin figures out his real abilities..."
