The Adventures of Stevo-Chapter 6-The Land of Ooh,2010,Part 2
So Stevo ran through the forest to get Finn and Jake to help him rescue Princess Bubblegum.
"Finn! Jake! PB's been kidnapped!" He said as he came in the door. They were almost done with their food when he entered.
"What?!" They said in union.
"C'mon!" Stevo started to run back out. They followed him towards the Ice Kingdom.
At the Ice Kingdom, the Ice King was tuning in on his electric keyboard while she was locked up in her icy cell. They were watching from the mountain in front of it as it happened.
"Steven, do you know how to fight?" Finn whispered.
"Uh, yeah." Stevo said to him with a serious look.
"Uh... Anyway, let's head in." They quietly got on Jake's back and entered into the cave.
"ICE KING!" Finn yelled at the Ice King, who hissed at him when he turned at their location.
"You again. You won't have her THIS time! Hahahaha!" Ice King yelled back and fired ice beams at them. Their arms and legs are completely frozen.
"Now that you're frozen, I can finally marry her! Heeheeheeheehee!"
"Finn! Jake! Steven! Help me!" Princess Bubblegum yelled in fear. Then Stevo looked to see that one of Jake's hands weren't frozen, and then at his as well, which gave him an idea.
"Jake, use your hand to get the ring out of my pocket and put it on my finger. And whatever you do, don't put it on." he whispered to Jake. He nodded and did as he was told. When he put the ring on Stevo, he began to transform into a dalmatian like last time. He broke out of the frozen trap he was in and sprung into action. Finn and Jake gasped in surprise as he looked at Ice King, who had his back turned.
"Hey Ice King!" he yelled.
"What is i-*scratch* AHHH! My robe!" Ice King yelled and fired ice beams as Stevo ran behind him and kicked him in the back of the head. The Ice King fell face-first against the cold floor and went out cold (bad pun there). Stevo ran and broke the ice lock with his feet, then grabbed the princess and turned back to crack their traps open.
"Steven, what happ-"
"Not now, I gotta take you to safety." Stevo said, as he carried the princess on his left shoulder and Jake was carrying Finn on his back.
At the Candy Kingdom, Peppermint Butler was pacing back and forth in front of the castle door inside, when the door opened in a loud thud. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Finn! Jake! Steven! And Princess Bubblegum! You're alright! But what happened to you, Steven?" he said with a happy and then confused look.
"I... uh..." Jake and Finn followed up behind him.
"Steven, you never told us that you're an animal, too." Finn said. Stevo sighed with his head down; he turned around.
"Peppermint, make us some dinner, you two, meet me at the dining room in an hour. I'll explain there."
Later that night, at the dining room, Stevo was almost done explaining what happened.
"And that's how I'm like this." Everyone seemed interested in his story. Finn put his fork down.
"But Stevo, why did you wait so long to tell us?"
"I didn't want anyone to know my secret unless I told them personally."
"Oh." Then Stevo looked at the clock above the princess.
"I must be heading to bed. Thank you, Peppermint for the supper." He quietly went up the stairs to his temporary bedroom.
As he and everyone else were asleep, the figure appeared beside his bed.
"Stevo, wake up."
"Ugh, can't you ever wait for me to get up before you speak?"
"Well sorry, but I'm here to tell you that you'll be sent to the year 2011. And that you must wear the ring the entire time. Good night." The figure vanished as Stevo fell asleep again.
The next morning, he was all packed and ready to set off. He looked back at the others and the castle one last time.
"Farewell, Steven!" Princess Bubblegum yelled as she waved her handkerchief at him.
"See you later, bro." Finn said as he and Jake fist bumped him. And so he went off to continue his adventure.
A few minutes later, as he was walking, a storm cloud hovered over the land. Knives started to rain down from above. He panicked, but just as a knife was about to hit him, the ground under him fell, which he closed his eyes as if this was the end of the road. But when he landed hard on a grassy area, he opened to see that he was in another world. A world in a park, of course.
