FINALLY fixed my first chapter and got around to woking on this one.

In this Episode we find out our Hero's name and standing within this dark world and even a little about his background. Dont go away yet, folk, we got a lot more action, more violence, more of that sexily scarred up monster that is...Father Nihilis, coming soon!

The Snake Prince of Chicago was a young and arrogant kindred, not to mention paranoid that others were conspiring to take his powerful seat as prince (Which they always were...). Young Ricardo Sa'Diablo always had to put on a show that he was running Chicago and all within it, executing those who refused to bow to him in public gatherings, restricting feeding grounds so that the younger upstarts would have little power to usurp him from his hill, and manipulating the humans in his pockets to "conveniently" dig up a sleeping elder that had scorned the young Gorgon Ventrue.

Due to his bloodline's supposed blood-tie to Medusa herself, Ricardo had many ways of doing things that eventually earned him the title of "The Snake Prince" and he was quick to remind others of why he was deserving of that name.

Now it seemed that the Prince wanted to check up on Father Nihilis' work, yet again, despite the vampire Priest's constant assurance that he was doing his job. The elder simply sat kneeling in the main "Throne room" of prince Ricardo's lofty mansion. The Prince had yet to end his meetig with the other Primogen and so Nihilis was forced to stay kneeling to an empty throne, the wary eyes of the Prince's human bodyguards fixated on the holy monster that was busy reading to himself several verses of the small bible in his clawed hands.

Accompanying the kneeling Elder was his own mortal servant, the unnaturally strong and intelligent war dog: Simbad. "Master, those Ghouls are starting to annoy me with their staring" the hound said to his master, using his bond with the vampire to communicate as his vocal chords were never meant to speak like a human. The Vampire smiled under his hood and gently patted the dog on the head before speaking out loud "Prince Ricardo would be very upset if you killed his Ghouls, Simbad" Nihilis said making the two staring men gulp and look at the dog with an equal amount of fear and anxiousness.

Soon enough the door burst open and two hulking brutes in specially tailored suits escorted the Prince to his chair, dismissing the Ghouls and replacing their posts. "Ah, Padre." the Prince spoke with a toothy smile as he clutched his golden snake cane in hos hands and sipped from his wine glass, the wine seeming to thick for the normal drink in which the glass was meant for.

"So Padre, how are my little Crusades coming along?" the prince spoke, still dressed in his white suit and his oh so precious silver pendant of another snake coiled around a cross. "I have eliminated most of the Brood's foothold within the city and have begun persecuting the smaller pack-" the snarl of Ricardo cutting Nihilis off. "Bare your face when you address me, Priest!" the Prince growled out making the hooded man before him bow down lower. "Apologies my Prince, I must have not been thinking correctly" he said, trying to make sure that Ricardo felt in control again before bringing his hands up to his hood and pulling.

The bald head of the priest was soon revealed and it soon became apparent that if a human saw his face, there would be no question that he was not human anymore. Solid black orbs sunken in under his brow stared down at the floor while his long and pointed ears twitched at every sound. A mouth full of pointed teeth was evident by the tips of his two primary fangs peeking behind his pale lips and his nose was a bit sharper and pointed giving him the appearence of a goblin or other monster.

The Nosferatu were a Clan of Vampires that were the very embodiments of the monster within. Most Vampires hid behind human faces and fought to keep their bestial sides in check, not the Nosferatu. Upon the Embrace, the poor souls are twisted, bent, and warped into monsters that must never see another human again for fear of being feared and hated. Most embrace this new change and choose to become as much a monster on the inside as they are on the outside, while others, like Nihilis, choose to keep their human sides and try to act benevolent, leashing the Beast within.

Nihilis spent the better part of the night describing in detail, his huntings in Chicago, how many Satanistic Vampires he's killed and where they were hiding. All in all, Nihilis was tired and hungery when the prince was finally satisfied that his loyal Inquisitor was doing his job and doing it right, and so the vampire pulled his hood back over his head and left to go hunting before the sun returned in the sky.
