Distance

another poem,this one is older than my previous ones (questions and confusion, question about the future and You)

The wind whistles by carrying your voice,

The sea pulls and beckons me to go,

Waves ebbing and flowing like the time,

As flames of light dance on the horizon,

Signalling me of what lies in the distance,

As the sun sets my heart cries out with sorrow,

As I watch it sink towards you,

Alone I stand longing to go to you,

I will always return.
