I... I decided to give you all a snippet of my short story writing. It is in need of some work but.. This is a story based of an actual role play that happened with this character, Kalypstra Viatruso a Jedi Master in the Post-legacy Era.

(Warning: The content in this story might be disturbing for some readers but marks a scar that is still healing for Kaly. Despite the content, I hope you all enjoy this peek into her life.)

The lights were out all around her as she sits at the desk within the embassy and outside she could hear the citizens panicking with the power outage. It took everything she had to keep herself inside as instructed. "We can't have you going outside to risk being seen, Kaly. Darth Gevecht is looking for you and your children and outside this embassy, we cannot protect you," she repeated to herself. She wasn't normally one to listen to instruction, but it wasn't just her life at risk this time.

Kalypstra sighs deeply and leans back in the chair, her belly extended as the lives within her roll with the tension. Locke, sensing his mother's anxiety, moved in front of his sister, Lillian, as Kaly smiles and tenderly caresses her belly with her right hand.

"I can't wait to see you, little ones. You'll be a handful, but I will love and teach you to the best of my ability and in the end, this'll all be worth it."

A shadow appears in the doorway, blocking out the little light that flowed through the transparasteel door. The frosted symbol of the Jedi Order sat upon the door, obscuring the features of the guest as she pried her way into the embassy while the planet quaked. The movement jostled Kaly around a bit before she stood, moving her hand towards her light saber just in case she needed it as the hooded figure, spoke.

"Y-you are a Jedi, are you not, miss? Why are you not with the others?"

"I am a Jedi, though current circumstances keep me from aiding along with the others. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Yes... I.. I was trying to get through the crowds and I felt a sharp pain in my side, like something had stabbed me. Are you able to take a look at it? Make sure I'm ok? I mean.. people say I worry too much but I'd rather feel safe than sorry, ya know?"

Kaly lets out a soft sigh and nods softly. Being a doctor, she has had her fair share of people that over extend their worries about their body, but this one gave her an eerie feeling. Part of her was excited to finally be able to do some good while on 'lockdown' the other screamed for her to go get Maximus. After a moment of deliberation, her compassion got the better of her and she moved closer to get a better look, her hand glowing a soft green to give some light. It didn't take long for her to regret this decision.

From within the hood the sith's eyes began to glow, a hand moved from under her cloak, holding a long slender object, and lifted above her head and inserted it into Kaly as she got within range. The motions were a blur to Kaly's vision as the sith augmented her movement with the Force to keep Kaly from dodging the object. Kaly felt a sharp pain in her neck accompanied by a gasp as the hypo-syringe penetrated her skin and the liquid flowed into her body. The strange yellow fluid touches her veins with vigor as her heart beat quickened with panic and fear.

Kaly reached out to summon the Force only to find it didn't answer her call. Her body grew heavy as her muscles ceased but her eyes remained open. The stranger reached out with the force to levitate Kaly to keep her from falling and began to walk towards the back of the embassy to avoid the crowds in the streets. Kaly just floated along, fully aware of what was going on around her, just a puppet for a sith as she bobs along in the stagnant Nar Shaddaa air.

It wasn't long before they boarded a well hidden ship and took off to Dromund Kaas. There was nothing but silence during the long flight as Kaly laid, unmovable in a cot aboard the ship, a tear rolling down her cheek as she was forced to stare at the ceiling.

"How could I be so blind? What will happen to me? To my children?!" she thought to herself, struggling with the liquid that bound her body during the flight. No matter how hard she thought, how hard she pushed, not one part of her body responded. It was like someone got into her body and blocked it from her brain. Defeated, she lay there and waited for her fate.

When they arrived at Dromund Kaas, she was lifted out of the bed and down the ramp. The rain poured as they walked in one of the more remote areas of the Darkside nexus. Minutes seemed like hours as the rain poured upon her, soaking her clothing and chilling her to the bone. It felt like a lifetime before they reached the location the Sith Twi'lek was searching for and with a few swift movements, the code was entered and they stepped into the bunker. Dripping water onto the floor as the floated along, Kaly watched as they walked through corridor after corridor, delving deeper into the unknown.

A familiar voice rings out as they enter the rear of the building. His voice, which was deep and raspy, echoed off of the mostly empty room as he spoke.

"It seems our lost Jedi has returned to us." His eyes grow wide as he walks forward and places a large hand over her belly, "You've done well carrying our cargo. We'll be sure to take good care of them."

Another tear rolls down her cheek as she fights to speak, helpless in the moment within the clutches of the enemy. She looked around the room a bit as she hung there; it was a nearly empty room aside from a medical bed and an odd looking mechanical arm hanging from the ceiling. The hooded Darth moved to the other side of the bed, instructing his apprentice to lay Kaly upon it, forcing her to stare at the ceiling.

Without a word, the procedure started. Darth Gevecht moved carefully to hook Kaly up to monitoring devices to keep a close eye on her and the children. As he worked, the arm above the bed whirred to life and lowered over her, hovering over her stomach a moment. It didn't take long for Gevecht to finish and nod to his apprentice that he was ready. The mechanical arm immediately ignited a low-heat surgical laser to cut through the layers of skin to her abdomen. The tears poured down her face like twin waterfalls as she listened to the sound of the laser do its work, slicing through her skin to reach the lives inside.

"This wouldn't have happened if you were strong enough to protect them," Gevecht says. "We'll take them and help them to tap into their power and they will become more then you ever were. You should consider yourself lucky, not many get the opportunity for greatness like you have right now. "

The arm completes its work and lifts above them as Gevecht rushes to the incision with a hover trolley, two incubation tubes for infants rested upon it. Without gloves, he reaches his hand inside her womb and pulled out her son, Locke. His tiny lungs hit the air as he took his first breath and expelled his cry. Kaly lay on the bed, the tears cascading down her face as she hears him. Gevecht detaches him from his mother and brings him within her view, "Such a fine young man... I wonder what I will call him."

Kaly struggles, able to move her neck a bit as she opens her lips, "Locke... his name is Locke Black. And she is Lillian..."

Gevecht looked down to Kaly as he quirks a brow, though whatever he said was drowned out by the sound of alarms piercing the bunker. Raising his voice, he says, "Kriffing Miogua... ne needs to learn to keep his Cathar paws out of my business!"

"He's my brother... of course he'll notice when he can't sense me..."

"Regardless, we are out of here. Apprentice, take the boy and get to the ship."

The apprentice runs to her master and takes the child, placing him in the tube, hooking him up to the portable oxygen device for transport and rushes off towards the shuttle. Gevecht hovers over Kaly a moment before reaching into her abdomen and splicing an artery.

"Enjoy, Jedi. Your brother's victory will be short lived."

Gevecht marches off, hurriedly, walking towards the exit to the shuttle himself, seemingly feeling very happy with himself. Kaly lays upon the bed, the liquid wearing away slowly as her vision began to fade. She attempted to settle her heart as she lay there, to slow the bleeding. Closing her eyes she tries to meditate. Shuffling is heard on the other side of the room, and she opens her eyes after what seems like hours and tries to look up at the figure now hovering above her before everything goes black.

Kaly woke up in with a start, skin drenched in sweat and eyes swimming in tears. She sits up, her eyes open out of habit, though she could no longer see as she used to. Her visor sat on her bedside table just in her reach if she wanted to get up, but she cuddled against Raycent instead. She takes his hand and kisses it lovingly as she felt him stir against her. Laying in the darkness, she let the tears flow silently, clinging to Raycent's hand as her mind rests upon the nightmare she wished was just that. Her other hand moved softly to the scar she bore on her abdomen, marking the intrusion.

Her mind drifts to her adopted children (Kaelin and Sestra), and she lets out a deep sigh, "I will not fail again..." With that whispered in a vow, she closes her eyes, again out of habit and attempts to sleep.
