Legends of Mundus Ch1-2
These are a few stories about the history of Mundus, a world I will be writing stories in. Here are a two chapters about the world more chapters coming soon.
Ch.1: Solano and the Ancients.
In the beginning, Mundus was swallowed in darkness nothing but one lonely light in the sky. The Ancients where so used to it that they could see in the darkness. While some preferred it others grew tired of the darkness as they saw the light in the sky they prayed for more light more to shine throughout the world. Then from light in the sky came the Sun Dragon, a giant beast of flaming, radiant Scales, who roared across the sky like a shooting star. Its Scaled body shined so brightly it illuminated Mundus and all its inhabitants. It was Solano; Bringer of the Heavens. Some of The Ancients where pleased with the beast but the other Ancients loathed him because his light forced them to hid underground. This feud grew into a war between the ancients.
Ch. 2: The Ancient Wars and the fall of Solano.
The feud of the Ancients ended up splitting some of the Ancients apart; the light watchers the followers of the Solano, and the Desolates the ones that despises Solano and the Light watchers. The Desolates attempted to destroy the Sun Dragon which led to a dreadful war between the Light watchers and the Desolates. The war lasted of Centuries as many casualties occurred. As the Sun Dragon witnessed this senseless bloodshed it grew more and more enraged at the carnage. Rather than watch this chaos go any longer, the mighty Dragon let out an earth-shattering roar and exploded like a supernova. Billions of pieces of its scales shot into the ground, veining it with ore. His heart flew up into the sky and became the sun, its blood and flesh flowed in the oceans which ended up washing away the Ancients away in a powerful storm. Solano's death gave the world the elements from which a new era would be born from; Light, Fire, Water, Earth, Iron, and Wind.
