Quake: Tales from the Arenas Eternal, chapter 2. PART 1!
Place: U.A.C. Earth infirmary; November 17th, 2145.
"You had to kill them, didn't you?" A male voice said, looking into the eyes of the traumatized Marine.
"Why did you kill them?" The voice repeated, belonging to an older male feline, around 35-40 years of age.
The Marine in question was a younger wolf, no older than 25. "I had to kill them because they were zombies, you asshole." He got up from his chair and walked out.
Place: U.A.C. Beta Labs Teleportation, November 17th, 2145.
Overlooking the Teleporters was a female rabbit, in her late twenties, in front of her where two scientists, one a dragon, the other a Komodo Dragon. The dragon turned around and looked at the rabbit. "Dr. Betruger, I'm not sure this is safe." He said, admittedly scared for his life. "You know what happened on Mars!" She looked at him and said, "I don't care, I want those Teleporters online, now!"
The Teleporters whined for about 10 seconds, then something strange happened: Hell was unleashed to Earth, alarms sounding all over the base!
Place: Marine Command, November 17th, 2145.
"All Marines, haul your asses to Beta Labs!" The Sargent in charge of the Marines said over their comms. "You need to get to Beta Teleportation ASAP!"
The Marine was amazed. He had killed Hell's mightiest warrior, the Cyberdemon and sealed the gateway to Hell. When he and the detachment he was with arrived at Beta Labs, he saw what appeared to be a Hell Knight grab Betruger and take her into the portal to Hell. He lunged, but was enveloped by a blinding white light. When the light went away, he was gone, all that was left was his AR-70 Predator.
