Introduction.EDIT: this information is now outdated. anyone seeking information in regards to the Alliance universe or the HU multiverse should consult my wikia at the-camolot.wikia.com.thank you for your time.This is an introduction to the alliance universe, where most of my stories are based.The AllianceThe alliance of planets is a powerful democratic republic, governing over most of the known galaxy through wormhole technology, which allows instant transportation between two points, and thadium reactors, a limitless source of pure energy. The alliance fought for 25 years against a breakaway faction known as the empire.The EmpireThe empire was a faction that broke away from the alliance, led by the Emperor.Alliance soldiersAlliance soldiers are given a shot of nanites, microscopic robots. These edited their genetic structure and changed their bodies and minds for 9 hours before being wiped out by the body's immune system. This gives them powers and abilities beyond the norm, i.e. telekinesis, pyrokinesis, reinforced strength, etc.The immortalsThe immortals were the alliance's greatest asset in the war. Numbering just 19, the immortals were beings with a rare none-clonable, unstable genetic mutation that prevented the immune system from destroying the nanites. The nanites would then jack up their power even further (an immortal can break an entire planet to pieces) and allowing them to live for unimaginable amounts of time. It comes with a price, though. Two additional consciousness, spurred by the influx of power, break away from the whole and develop their own power, which is equal to their host's. The two typically dub themselves dark and light, and then attack neutral, the host's original consciousness. Dark is typically bent on destruction for the sake of destruction, and light typically sees the universe and life to be abominations that need to be removed. Immortals occasionally go insane and have to be restrained, then put into permanent stasis.EarthEarth entered into the alliance after it was attacked by an imperial force. A new earthian hero, william elexion, became an immortal and led the earth and the
alliance to eventual victory over the empire, becoming the grim reaper in the process. He wandered the universes after the war was won, returning occasionally to deal with conflicts.
