This chapter is going to focus mostly on Cynder and Naomi. I know I've been neglecting these two characters in my previous stories but now they get one to themselves! (Mostly)

Anyway in the previous chapter Skullblaze was killed yet again and was turned into an unpleasant satin upon the floor. But Gaul was far more powerful then his second in command and beat Galinoth. Gaul then turned his attention towards Spyro. A vicious battle ensued between the two mortal foes which saw Gaul nearly kill Spyro. But then Galinoth revealed what he had done while the fight continued. He had ordered the destruction of the Guardian outpost at Dante's freezer.

Chapter 14: Just a girl's day

It's been several days since the destruction of Dante's freezer and the Guardian outpost there. Galinoth said he also found out that other Guardian objects and artefacts resided all around the world and that he was going to find them all. Spyro and Volteer wanted to go with him. And when Galinoth said that they could they set off almost immediately. Their first destination was tall plains where Naomi was first found. While the boys were gone this gave Cynder and Naomi some time to get to know each other.

"So how long have you and Galinoth known each other?" Cynder asked.

"I've known him for about two hundred and fifty years give or take a decade." Naomi replied.

"Two hundred and fifty years!" Cynder exclaimed

"Yep, two hundred and fifty years." Naomi said.

"How old are you then?" Cynder asked.

"I'm two hundred and seventy two and Galinoth is two hundred and seventy four." Naomi replied.

"Man, your people can live that long?" Cynder asked. She was amazed at Naomi's age.

"My people are immortal; we can only be killed by illness or die in battle." Naomi replied.

"Bet its great living forever." Cynder said.

"It can be." Naomi said.

"What do you mean?" Cynder asked.

"Being immortal has its draw backs." Naomi replied.

"Oh" Cynder said. She was beginning to get what Naomi meant.

"Anyway forget all that how did you and Spyro meet each other?" Naomi asked.

"I don't like to talk about that." Cynder said gloomily.

"Oh" Naomi said. She just realised why she doesn't like that touchy subject.

"How did you and Galinoth meet?" Cynder asked.

"We met each other at the institution of saharria, its where all the new recruits went to receive their training." Naomi replied.

"How did you get accepted?" Cynder asked.

"There are training camps all over our home world and that of ones that have been reclaimed where we train and study, I passed all the tests and got accepted, the only one to score higher then me was Galinoth." Naomi replied.

"So you were rivals at first?" Cynder asked.

Naomi chuckled.

"Yes we were, but during the final trials everyone was trying to eliminate me, and just as some one was going to Galinoth came to my aid, and since then we've been inseparable." Naomi replied.

"Wow." Cynder said.

"I know." Naomi replied.

For the next few minutes they talked about how they are lucky people to have mates like they do.

"You want to walk in the temple gardens?" Cynder asked.

"Sure." Naomi replied.

They took several minutes to get to the gardens. The beauty of them took Naomi's breath away.

"It's so beautiful." Naomi said.

"That's what I said when I first saw them." Cynder said.

"Reminds me of Terragona." Naomi said

"What's Terragona?" Cynder asked.

"Terragona is a garden world within our home system, its beauty can not be matched anywhere, I cant explain how beautiful it is you would have to see it in order to appreciate its true beauty." Naomi said. There was a passion in her voice that made Cynder wish she could see this world.

They wandered through the gardens for sometime. Until Cynder took her to a spot that only she and Spyro knew about.

"This is beautiful." Naomi gasped.

"Me and Spyro found it a few days after he rescued me from the Dark master, we come here to relax after a hard day of training or fighting darkness." Cynder said.

The space was a sight that would make anyone gasp at its beauty. There was a waterfall that had crystal clear water cascading down its pristine surface. The plants were plentiful with many colours. Everywhere you looked there was something that made Naomi gasp in delight and awe.

"I can see why you come here." Naomi said.

"Like I said, it helps us relax." Cynder said.

After a few minutes of admiration the pair decided to lie down on a beautiful patch of grass. They watched the local wildlife buzz around doing what they pleased. Everywhere Naomi looked there was always something doing something. To her left there were creatures that resembled deer that were grazing. To her right there were birds of a kind chirping a melodious song that soothed her mind.

"Cynder I've got something to tell you." Naomi said.

"What's up?" Cynder asked

"I don't know why I can't tell Galinoth yet but...." Naomi said. But she cut out in mid sentence.

"But what?" Cynder asked.

"Me and Galinoth have always wanted a family but never could because of what we do, well did, but now im certain about it." Naomi said.

"Certain about what?" Cynder asked.

"Cynder, im pregnant." Naomi replied.

Cynder was wide eyed at this news.

"Really?" Cynder asked.

"Yes." Naomi replied with a joyful smile.

"That's terrific Naomi, im really happy for you." Cynder said.

"Thank you Cynder, but for some reason I just cant tell him." Naomi said.

"Why not?" Cynder asked.

"I just can't, for some reason I just can't." Naomi replied.

"You might be nervous about the whole thing, you say you've wanted a family for awhile and now you are pregnant you are nervous ad unsure." Cynder said.

"Maybe." Naomi said.

"Just tell him when he gets back from his travels, im sure he will be overjoyed as well." Cynder said.

"Ok then." Naomi said.

"Anyway I think its time we headed back." Cynder said.

"Yeah I bet the elders are wondering where we are." Naomi said.

They headed back to the temple. As they were leaving the gardens they realised they had been in Spyro and Cynders little spot for the best part of the day.

"It only seemed like we were there for a few minutes." Naomi said.

"I guess time flies when you have fun." Cynder said.

"It seemed to anyway." Naomi said.

It took them several minutes to get back to the dojo where the elders had gathered.

"Ah, we were wondering where you two had gone." Ignitus said.

"We just walked around and talked." Cynder said.

"Your just in time, we received a message from Galinoth saying that he had found something at tall plains." Terrador said.

"Did he say what it was?" Naomi asked.

"No he didn't, he said he would be back in the morning, Spyro and Volteer are already on their way back." Cyril said.

"I wonder what he found the." Naomi wondered allowed.

"Come everyone, it's time we got some sleep." Ignitus said.

Everyone the retired to their rooms for the night and went to sleep. In the morning Spyro and Volteer had just landed while the others were awakening.

"Glad to see your back." Cynder said.

"It's good to be back." Spyro said.

"What did he Galinoth find then?" Cyril asked.

"He found some sort of chamber hidden deep within the cave systems at tall plains, he entered it and pressed something on this screen but when he did the doors closed and a white light engulfed him." Volteer said.

"He was teleported; remember that day when he disappeared in a white light?" Naomi asked.

"Yes, it was similar to that light." Volteer said.

"It means there is something else on this world." Naomi said.

Just as Ignitus was going to speak the communicator that Galinoth had given them activated.

"You guys are gunna want to see this." came Galinoth's excited voice.

Just then the wristband on Naomi told them to look towards the ocean. They did so and when they did a great shadow engulfed them. They looked up and were amazed at what they saw.

That's chapter 14 done!

I hope I've improved a lot as this series went along.
