Commission: Reed

The story focuses on Reed, a young man with a voyeuristic love for the beautiful Phoenix. He's admired her from afar for years, perving it up outside her window, but when a rather sexual dream brings them closer he must decide between her and his family.

Adult for sexing and masturbation.

She was beautiful. There were no other girls like Phoenix, at least in the village if not in the world. Her fur seemed to be made of the purest spun gold, and her silver eyes seemed to dance in the light. Reed's lust for her was nearly insatiable. While it was true that he used to fancy the young Galena, his passion had been turned to the older girl for quite some time. Galena didn't mind; she seemed to prefer his companionship over his genitals.

Reed's younger sister was sick. Not ill enough to die, just to feel miserable. He had come to Phoenix's orchard for the express purpose of sneaking a few pomegranates home for her, but he hadn't counted on the family being home. The trees grew outside of Phoenix's room, near the back of their large home, and he could not resist the urge to look in on the young woman.

What he saw... It was glorious. The as-yet- unbethrothed Phoenix kept her maidenhood intact, this he knew well from the rumors at the market and the gossip of the customers at the mill, but she was still a youth, a year younger than he was, and as such her blood still ran hot. What Reed's brown eyes fell upon was the gorgeous jackal girl in the nude, her paw wrapped around a very phallic statue made of alabaster. Such a fine material for such a thing, but her family was the wealthiest in town.

She placed it on the baked clay floor of her room and lifted an overripe fruit from her desk. The cut through it with her claw and held it over her rump, squeezing the juice and letting it slide down the break in her rump. Carefully she slipped one digit down and began stroking her anus.

Reed felt himself harden beneath his flax loincloth. He glanced around and easily found a damaged pomegranate lying beneath a tree, soft and overripe. He picked it up and scrambled back to the window, poking a very small hole in its hide with his thumb. It would have to do. Warmed by the sun, it might make for a damned fine substitute.

Before his eyes she lowered herself, holding her tail high as the statue parted her flank and entered her. He slipped his cloth aside and forced his rigid manhood into the produce in his hand. As Phoenix slipped up and down the alabaster shaft he matched her rhythm, pretending it was him inside of her, making her moan.

She ran a hand down the length of her body, tweaking her nipple before continuing along her fine curves. She stopped between her legs and, from the motion of her arms, began rubbing her clitoris. She began to increase her speed, slamming her perfect ass down to the base of the statue, her hand slipping into view every now, her fingers shining with her wetness. Reed matched her, pounding his throbbing cock into the fruit in hand, squeezing it every now and again to simulate muscle movement. As his goddess moaned he fought hard to stay silent. She began to tremble, her slender thighs shaking as she neared the peak of her ecstasy. Her arm transformed into a blur as she thrust herself down one last time, taking the phallic toy to its base in her rounded ass and crying out as she came. She slipped off, shaking, on her knees, and Reed could see the moistness between her lips. She had left a small puddle on the floor.

She turned around, eyes closed, and licked the pomegranate juice off of the statue. Reed could hold it no longer and he exploded, filling the fruit with his hot seed. Unfortunately he could not keep himself from making noise, and Phoenix's silver eyes flew open as Reed dropped to the ground.

"Guards!" she cried, and he heard the sound of the statue being returned to its hiding place. "There's a man outside my window! I believe he was pleasuring himself! HELP!"

Reed dropped the fruit and ran as the front door of the home slammed open. Leather-clad guards raced toward the spot where he had been standing only moments ago, shouting and pointing when they found his discarded produce. Reed refused to let himself look back and ran toward the river, his lungs burning with exertion. He could hear the pounding of feet behind him and he cursed himself for his lack of self-control. As he drew near the crystalline waters of the Nile he dove in and began swimming back to town as fast as his tired limbs would allow. He could hear the guards shouting back near the bank, but they'd be unable to identify him. Black-furred Anubians were common, more common than any other color save for shades of brown. They wouldn't be able to identify him. He sighed with relief and continued on toward his home.

The deep cerulean waters of the Nile were calm, still as death, and glinting with the light of the high sun. Tiny pinpoints flashed and danced along its surface, making it seem as though the river were full of sapphires. It was a beautiful sight to Reed, who lay relaxing with his head filled with images of the naked Phoenix.

He was, in fact, so lost in the peaceful scene that he did not hear the soft footfalls in the sand or even notice that his stretch of bank was being invaded until a shadow fell across him.

"You like to watch, hm? Perhaps I should warn the people about your little escapades; unless, of course, you can give me a reason not to."

Reed jumped to his feet and backed away from the robed woman who had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. He could tell she was an Anubian, but he could make out no features save for her ears and eyes. Her ears were unusual, trimmed in gold fur, and her eyes burned with something sinister. He was afraid.

"I'm sorry, I just... My sister is sick, you see, and I had no money to buy her a gift. I thought if I just stole a few fruits no one would notice. I didn't expect to see Phoenix... nude. Please, you have to believe me! No one can know, especially my family!"

The woman cocked her head to side and studied the young male. He was nervous, though she could sense that his story was mostly true. She could use this.

"Tell me your name, boy."

"Reed."

"Well then, Reed, I will keep your filthy little secret if you do two things for me. This first is that if you see me in the market, you flee. I never want to see your face in a crowd, I never want my eyes to fall on you in the shop you apprentice in, I never want to so much as catch your scent. The second is that you never step foot onto the girl's property again. No fruit-nicking, no peeping, no sexual self-encounters while she sleeps, nothing. I will know if you come near the orchard, and I will destroy you. Are we clear?"

Reed gulped and nodded. The power in the woman's voice was unmistakable. She was dead serious about ending his life if he crossed her. From beneath her hood she smiled, showing glimmering white fangs.

"Good. Run along now, child. You wouldn't want the guards to find you."

Reed took off into a sprint, heading for his home as fast as his legs could carry him.

He arrived sweaty and exhausted, breathing heavily as he sank to the cool dirt floor. The scrap of linen that served as their door fluttered in the sight breeze. It was darker and much less hot in the house, and the smell of the river came floating through their windows. He loved his home, and his family, more than anything- even Phoenix. He felt safe here in their humble hut, away from the bustling crowds and stinging insects.

After catching his breath he rose and made his way to the room he shared with his sister. Nefet lay beneath a thin blanket that was soaked through with sweat. Beneath her sandy lids her eyes danced back and forth wildly. She was dreaming, probably something feverishly terrifying. He peeled the blanket away from her and clucked at her filthy flax dress. He could do nothing about that right now, but he could at least clean her blanket. He planted a kiss on her forehead and walked the short distance to the banks of the Nile.

Reed plunged the cloth into the cold waters and rubbed a small palm-full of natron across it. Her illness had gotten worse. He could tell from the stink of her sweat and the copious amounts of it wetting her bedclothes. They'd need to find a wab, and soon. Whatever sickness plagued her must be cast out. He hated to see her suffering so. After making sure he had worked the natron over the entirety of the linen he began to rinse it, humming as he worked. When he felt it was clean enough he walked back to their hut and, with the help of a nearby stone, laid it atop their roof to dry.

He was having trouble keeping his eyes open. He laid his sheet over Nefet and collapsed on his straw cot. He was still too shaken up to eat. Perhaps he'd feel better in the morning. As his eyes began to close, he could make out the sound of his sister muttering in her sleep. Reed prayed her fever would break as he fell into a deep sleep. He was dead to the world when his parents arrived home; they covered him with Nefet's fresh cloth and left the siblings to rest.

Reed stood at the entrance to the temple, clad in gold-trimmed robes. The sun was setting, casting a beautiful violet glow around the land. He could hear noises coming from the inside, chanting and cheering, as though a great celebration were taking place. He began the long climb up the sandstone steps without a second thought. He was needed inside, they couldn't continue the ceremony without him.

As he entered he was greeted with the strong scent of figs and pomegranate. A great feast dominated the center of the usually-somber house of worship, and it seemed the whole town was seated around it. Oracles clad in shimmery white gowns danced and whirled around the revelers, chanting in what seemed like a backwards form of their native tongue. Torches sent shadows flickering along the gold-painted walls and braziers of incense burned atop the altar crowning the room. It was beautiful.

Reed's mother rose and moved to take his hand. She smiled sweetly at him and began leading him toward the back of the massive room, near the altar. He could make out the two weathered priests, both white of fur, standing solemnly on either side. The crowd blocked most of his view, but he could see Galena's turquoise fur amidst the throng. She was always easy to spot. As they drew closer he could see something moving on the altar. Something gold.

Phoenix lay naked upon the stone slab, her silver eyes fixed upon the ceiling as she writhed in anticipation. Was she drugged? Reed could not tell, and he worried for the sensual woman. Still, though, he could not fight the automatic response of his body. He felt himself stiffen as he basked in her radiance, the torchlight making it nearly impossible to gaze on her for too long. He looked questioningly at his mother, and she nodded down toward the girl. The priests exchanged a glance and motioned for him to kneel. He followed their orders, watching intently as they produced a heavy collar of gold. Phoenix sat up, her pert breasts shaking with the swift motion. The left-most jackal wrapped it around her neck and latched it in place. His twin produced a length of gold chain and fixed it to the front. It seemed familiar to the young man on his knees, but he couldn't place it.

"Reed, do you take young Phoenix as your bride, for now and eternity?"

"I do."

"Phoenix, do you swear your loyalty to Reed for now and eternity?"

"I do," she whispered breathlessly.

The priest handed the chain to Reed and produced a towering silver staff topped with an ankh.

"Then before Re as he heads to his rest, we pronounce you Life-Bound until the sands sink into the earth once more. You may join as one."

A large cheer rose from the crowd as Reed rose and embraced his dream girl. As they kissed Reed could feel her pressing against him, shifting her weight back and forth. It was hard for him to focus. Everyone in the town was watching them, her nude and him feeling rather overdressed. As the thought crossed his mind one of the oracles slinked behind him and lightly tugged on his garb. It fell away and the room seemed darker. If Phoenix's fur was incandescent in the light, then Reed's was downright stygian. Free of the cumbersome robe he marveled at the softness of her fur, the tension in her muscles, the strength in her grip. He wanted her, and from the way she was grinding against him she wanted the same. Reed tore his gaze from her and looked to the closest priest.

"Is there somewhere we could go, somewhere more private?"

The priest shook his head.

"No, my child. You must consummate here before the eyes of the gods."

Reed gulped. He wasn't sure if he could handle that. The prying eyes of the people he had known all his life, staring at their sky-clad bodies as they made love... It disgusted him. He began to pull away from Phoenix, fully prepared to walk out. She would not let him.

With a swift tug on her chain she had brought the black jackal to his hands and knees.

"You are not going to walk away from this. It is how our people have always operated. Get up here."

He crawled toward her as she turned, presenting herself to him as he drew near. She lowered the front half of her body to the cold stone altar. He stared at her, his brown eyes gleaming as they fixed themselves on her heart-shaped rump. He could see that she was moist, anxious to begin. He positioned himself behind her, breathing deeply, steeling himself to do this in front of such a large crowd.

Phoenix, however, didn't feel like waiting any longer. She thrust herself backwards, burying his rigid member in the virgin flower of her womanhood. Reed gasped in surprise, but he could not regain his composure. Something hidden, something primal in him snapped and he pushed into her, panting as she rocked her hips against him.

He reached down and gripped her breasts as he entered her again and again, relishing the weight in his paws. Phoenix snarled and forced herself down harder. She was enjoying it as much as Reed was. Her thin tail wrapped around the tense muscle of his thigh, tugging against him slightly as they joined flesh. Reed was doubled over her back, drowning in the feel of her fur and the scent of her sweat. Everyone was watching, separated by class and gender, the women fanning themselves and the men drooling. They loved it, loved watching the pair mate. As he rode his woman from behind a few of the viewers made their way towards one another. Marriages and familial feuds didn't matter here, in this time of pleasure. They began coupling, everything forgotten but the heat flowing through their bodies. It was hard for him to pull his eyes away from them. Phoenix helped, though. As she began to pull away he came back to his senses. They could do as they pleased; he was here for her and her only. As she disentangled her limbs from his she laid on her back, her heavy-lidded eyes gazing at him with desire. She was spread wide, her hands caressing the sensitive flesh of her lower pelvic region. He could see her narrow canal.

He wanted to fill it.

Reed forced his erection inside her, growling as she cried out in mock pain.

"Harder," she whispered, and he realized he had never wanted a command more in his life.

As she rubbed her clitoris Reed leaned closer and began to thrust harder, focusing on his strength. The stone beneath them began to slide as he fucked her, deeper with every movement, her sultry voice rising above the noise of the crowd as she yipped and moaned in pleasure. Every time he pulled himself out he was drenched with her wetness, his cock glimmering in the torchlight. Yes. This was heaven. This is how it would be when he died- Phoenix naked before him, breasts heaving as she pleasured herself, feeling the walls of her cunt contract around his throbbing manhood. Yes. Perfect.

Phoenix arched her back and tightened her legs around the black-furred Anubian above her. She was close; her legs were trembling from the effort of holding herself back.

"Choke me."

Reed raised an eyebrow, but didn't miss a beat below. Phoenix's bright eyes were dead serious; she expected him to comply. Against his better judgment Reed yanked on the chain in his hand and the young maiden pressed her throat against the warm metal. Her hands began working quicker, her breath ragged as she clenched herself around him. Reed nearly stumbled; the feel of her tightening around him with such force nearly made him finish. As he was about to ask her if she was alright his cock was flooded with a hot, warm fluid from inside her. He loosened the chain and she slumped back, a coy smile spreading across her snout.

"It's your turn now, big boy."

Reed began to pound her once more, faster and more desperate than he had done previously. Phoenix dug her claws into the toned meat of his buttocks and he snarled in pain. He had to admit, she had a surefire way to get his attention.

"Cum on my face. Pull out when you're close and spray me."

Dear god, she knew what she wanted.

She curved her back and slammed herself down on his shaft, burying him to his balls in her slick, warm pussy. Oh god. He pulled out and shoved himself inside her, again and again, feeling the numbness creep up his legs as he neared orgasm. When he could take it no longer he withdrew his member and she sat upright quicker that his eyes could register. He jerked off the last stretch of the way, aiming his head at her angular snout. Hot, pearlescent white liquid poured from him, splashing down on her golden fur as he jerked in ecstasy. She stuck out her tongue, catching stray droplets as he finished blowing his load all over her. His eyes never left her cum-soaked face. Phoenix began rubbing it into her, chuckling as she sucked the semen off her fingertips.

"I don't know your name. Tell me."

"I'm Re-"

Reed jolted awake, his thin linen crusted to his thighs. He was soaked with sweat, and he was willing to wager he could spear fish with his erection. Gods, even in his dreams Phoenix had an amazing power over him. He exited the hut and went to soak himself in the cool waters of the river. If he was able to fall back asleep without inseminating his sheets everything would be better in the morning. He just needed to relax, to let go, and he'd feel less manic on the morrow.

As he dunked his head beneath the glassy surface of the Nile, a shadow flitted up the bank. It was robed and slender, almost emaciated. It watched him intently with burning golden eyes, waiting for him to resurface. It did not look pleased.

He came up sputtering, chilled to the bone but slightly less randy than he had been. He began swimming back to shore, preparing for the rather unpleasant task of washing his sheet, when he noticed his watcher. It removed its hood, letting the moonlight light its gaunt features. It was the woman he spoke to before, the one with the golden ears. Her straight black hair fell around her shoulders, crowning her in darkness. She was very thin and very angular, but Reed could see a sexy sort of confidence about her. She meant business.

Unfortunately, tonight that business was him.

"Don't speak. I don't know how you did it, but she will never know your name. You will never be together, bond of the Gods or no. I don't know what sort of witchcraft you've pulled, boy, but I will wear your entrails as ornamentations if you contact Phoenix."

Women in her family sure were blunt.

"I don't know what you're talking about, alright? Look if you- if you're some kind of clairvoyant, I can't help the dreams I have. If you're going to kill me for them, fine, but don't blame this on me."

"You're an idiot child! How do you not know of the bond? It's been a sacred pact of our people for centuries!"

The woman's golden eyes narrowed in anger.

"You have this bond with my niece, and you don't even understand it? That's just perfect." She forced a pointed claw against his chest, snarling down at him. "You are not worthy of our bloodline. Keep away from us, boy, or I will end you."

As quickly as she appeared she was gone, leaving Reed alone on the sandy bank. He felt himself grimace as he knelt down to wash his linen, grumbling and cursing under his breath as he scrubbed it clean. She didn't have to worry. Phoenix wouldn't come for him, and he would not approach her. She didn't even know his name. Her precious family was safe.

As he carted the grain to the milling wheel, Galena and Kheti showed up in the doorway. Both were grinning like mad.

"You two sure look pleased. Is something up?"

Galena nudged Kheti, and he struggled not to laugh.

"Reed, she's looking for you. We've seen Phoenix asking after you at every stall on in the market!"

The basket he was carrying fell from his arms, spilling wheat all across the dirt floor.

"That's horrible! You guys have to hide me, she can't know I work here!"

Kheti and Gelena exchanged glances, their smiles fading. This was obviously not the response they had been hoping for.

"But, Reed... She's the woman of your dreams! Why do you want to sabotage this?"

Reed sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Her aunt... She's been threatening me with rather gruesome deaths. I really don't want to cross her. I mean, Phoenix is wealthy. She deserves a dashing, wealthy merchant of a lower nobleman. Besides, what if we turn out to hate each other? My family needs me- Nefet's really sick, and I have to be there to care for her. And yes, I'd like to keep breathing for a while. It's better this way, if I just stay out of sight for a while."

He knelt down and began sweeping the produce back into his basket. Behind his back his friends exchanged skeptical glances- Reed hated confrontation, and he wasn't really the type to take charge of a situation. On one hand, this could be the greatest gift they could give him. On the opposite, though, he might never forgive them, especially if Phoenix's strange aunt kept her promises of pain. He didn't want to pursue this, and Galena wished to respect that. Kheti, however, wanted him out of the picture.

"How about we compromise? If she comes to the mill, you speak with her. If she doesn't, there's nothing to worry about."

As Reed dumped the basket onto the wheel, he nodded.

"That seems fair. If she hasn't come by the time I need to leave, I'll feel a lot safer. I just... You understand, right? That's... that's not the life for me. I love my family. I love my friends. I don't want to lose them just because I got everything I wanted in life. I shouldn't leave you guys behind."

Galena nodded. Kheti frowned. The pair took their leave and he was alone once more.

As the sun sank below the horizon, Reed closed up the granary. Glyph hadn't been in all day, so Reed was drained from tending to the mill by himself. As he stepped into the empty market street, he caught the glint of something silver from behind a stall. He turned away and began the trek back to his family's hut, his mind turning to thoughts of Phoenix once again. He could not escape her. He could have everything he wanted on a platter, but... He sighed and hung his head. He would never leave his family, not for all the gold in Egypt- especially not Nefet, his best friend, his sister. He and Galena were very close, but the bond between he and his sibling was far stronger. She needed him to protect her. He couldn't walk away from that. Not yet.

As he entered his home, he was greeted by the sight of her sitting up and drinking from a bowl of water. Her fever had finally broken. A local wab sat on his bed, smiling at the young girl. Yes, he could say no to Phoenix. He belonged here.

As he vanished inside the small mud home, he did not see the brown-cloaked figure hanging back in the shadows of the dirt road. Its silver eyes watched the hut intently until darkness swallowed the city.

"We are bonded. You won't escape it forever. I can wait. I can wait for eternity."

The figure turned and left, fading into the cold desert evening.
