Authors Note:

Part 6 is finally here. Hope you all enjoy. Also, I added all these stories to a folder, just subscribe to the folder to get updates whenever I add a new installment. Also, I know the story is taking a bit longer than you would expect, but I want to develop the relationship between my characters before we go any further with this. Hang in there guise, U CAN D0 EET.

It took them an extra half hour to leave the apartment because Amy had to fuss over the haircut Victor had given himself. It had been horrible, cut every which way as if he had only been trying to get the bangs out of his eyes. So, with some scissors and a lot of patience, she managed to fix his hair.

He mumbled out a "Thanks" before pushing his way to the front of the apartment, and Amy huffed in slight annoyance. Finally though, they were on the way to the restaraunt.

"So, tell me something about yourself Victor. I'm interested in...that 'darker' side of you."

He sighed. The drive had been largely uninteresting and quiet. Victor had sat quietly, staring out the window as the sun slowly edged down on the horizon. His trademarked sunglasses were back in place on his nose. He took a minute before he finally turned back to her,

"Ok. That's all that's interesting about me, anyway. What would you want to know?"

She bit back her reply.

Oh, shit. That just came out completely wrong. I sound like such an insensitive bitch...

"I'm sorry Vic, I didn't mean to say you were uninteresting, because you are. I just meant-"

"I know, I understand. Sorry, I'm not all here right now. Just...ask your question."

She shook her head slowly as they pulled in to the parking lot of the eatery. They got out of the car as the cool night breeze rolled past them, making Amy shiver slightly.

It was slightly warmer inside as Victor held open the door for her. She smiled at him before taking in the place. It was as to be expected, very swanky and dimly lit. The noise factor rose up significantly as the sounds of people talking assaulted her ears, causing them to twitch slightly.

"How many in your party," asked the waitress. Victor held up his hand to signal 2, and the waitress grabbed as many menus before she beckoned for them to follow.

They sat in a booth near the back of the dining area where the noise was not as noticable, and Amy sat, not bothering to even look at her menu. Whenever she and Eden came to this place, she always ordered the same thing, Garlic noodles with fried mushrooms and peppers. It was much tastier than it sounded.

She instead proceeded to stare at Victor as he seemingly took in what was on the menu, slowly thumbing his way through each page. The waitress came by again and took their drink orders. Amy ordered a Martini, and Victor ordered a glass of ice water. Somehow, she wasn't surprised by that.

"You've been staring at me for the past 5 minutes. Something on your mind?"

She blinked, taken aback. Of course he could see her, he was wearing his sunglasses in the dark room, so she had no idea where he could be looking at any given time.

"Sorry, I was just taking in your features. I noticed you have a light beard growing in. It looks nice, you should let it grow in." She smiled softly, trying to be as friendly and open as she could be.

He grunted once in reply, still flipping through the menu before putting it down. The waitress had apparently been eyeballing them, because she swooped in to take their orders almost immediately.

Amy ordered her usual, and Victor said "I'll have what she's having".

They sat quietly, Amy staring at Victor, and Victor staring assumedly back at Amy, before she brought up what was on her mind.

"This bite on my neck. Does that mean I'll...you know, turn?"

The last part had come out as a whisper, and Amy realized she felt insecure. Afraid. Afraid of what she would do if the answer was 'yes'.

He shrugged once before responding, "I don't know. I rarely drink from sentient beings. I have a friend who supplies me with bags of the stuff, but I was careless. I was caught off guard, and you had to pay for it. I'm sorry."

They ate their meals in silence after that. Amy wondered exactly why Victor would apologize for doing what he had to do, she couldn't guess.

They paid the tab, and stepped outside back into the cool night air, and Victor slid his jacket off and placed it around her shoulders without a word.

What a hero. Giving me his jacket, that's thoughtful of him...

She pulled the jacket around herself tighter until they got to the car. Victor pushed past her and reached for the driver's side door.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

He paused and looked up at her quizzically, "Um, driving?"

"You don't have the keys, sweetheart. You should let me drive."

To her immense surprise, the lights in the car turned on, and he opened the door before sliding into the seat. She looked on as he jingled her car keys out the door before shutting it.

Oh you sneaky bastard. I have no clue how you did it, but you did. No end to the surprises of this man.

She casually entered the passenger side and got in the car, deciding it best not to bring up how he got a hold of her keys.

She pulled the jacket tighter over her, savoring its warmth as the car quietly sped through the night.

Within 20 minutes, they were back at her flat. Victor apparently had an amazing sense of direction. He pulled the car into her reserved parking space, and turned the engine off.

"So."

She looked at him, her heart skipping a beat. Was he making a proposition?

"So, what comes next?"

Please ask to come in, please...

"I need to contact my friend, James, and make sure that I get a new supply of blood. I made a mistake last time, but I'm not going to put you in that kind of situation again. I'm sorry Amy."

She blinked once, twice, three times.

Damn it girl, get him inside!

"Don't you want to come in at all? You know, it is rather late. I'm sure you can wait until tomorrow..."

And spend the night here, with me...in me...

She kept her eyes on him as he turned to stare at her through his dark sunglasses, and she could have sworn he leaned forward slightly in his seat...

She took a chance and leaned in, her mouth all but watering to taste his lips...

And suddenly he was out the door, closing it behind him. She blinked, suddenly panicky as she got out of the car.

"Victor? Wait, where did you go??"

He was gone. And he left his coat with her.

She huffed softly, majorly disappointed with his sudden disappearance, but she knew he'd be back. And she hoped he wouldn't be able to resist her for very long.

She was ashamed of herself for feeling it, but her body yearned for him. Almost ached. She wanted him in the most intimate of ways, and she couldn't deny it.

She walked back up to her flat, and closed the door behind her, hoping she'd see him again.

Soon.
