The ground slammed against my shoulder as I dove full pelt into it, I felt pain then I blacked out. The cold drops of rain and a clap of thunder woke me, I tried to get my front claw under me but I collapsed as pain shot up my arm. Gingerly I realized that must be the shoulder I landed on using the other arm I pushed myself up and looked around. It was pitch black, however I could make out that by sheer luck I had landed in a clearing surrounded by thick trees, if I had landed on one of those I probably wouldn't have got up again. Twisting my neck over myself I inspected my shoulder, probably broken my arm.

As my eyes adjusted to the dark i noticed two things. One: I wasn't going anywhere. Two: my right wing was a mess. The fragile bones in my wings had been dislocated not broken, but I would need somebody to reach them, as using my jaws would most like tear my wings to shreds. A fork of lighting interrupted my thoughts and briefly illuminated my surrounding enough to see a pond at the end of the clearing, I limped over and took a sip. With nothing to do to improve my position I wrapped my tail around myself and fell asleep.

A warm face enters my view, I know this man, he smiles and I say "Hello, who are you?" his next words I will always remember ,"I am captain Durham, but you may call me Sam, would you like a name?". I pondered on this trying to remember if I had a name and what a name meant. I replied, "Yes, please." his warm eyes lit up and he smiled, "Would you like to be Tremulous?" after a quick thought I said "Yes.". Pain, I sat up abruptly an almost fainted and the pain from my mangled wing threatened to drive me in back into the abyss. Now it was lighter, if lighter you meant slightly less dark then it was at night, looking about I saw that I was still stuck in the same clearing, but now with the light streaming in from the clearing I could get an better look around the clearing. There was an large pond one side half hidden from the trees overhanging it, as I took the rest of the clearing in it dawned on me that I won't be either walking or flying out of here as the trees where so thick I couldn't fit my shoulders through the largest gap which was about the right size for an human or an horse to get in. I could see that the open was in fact a path leading away from this clearing.

A sweet voice filled the air catching my attention. "Now Angle you promise that you won't be moody after we let these bunnies go?" I strained my ears for a response but I couldn't here one then the sweet voice came back. "Now we will release them at the large pond ahead so the little ones will have some where to drink before they start there big adventures!" with that I looked around for an place to hide, seeing the pond was my only hiding spot I thanked the marker for letting me keep my father's black hide as I submerged myself and paddled/limped into the dark bank of the pond, keeping my head out of the water to observe who the owner of the sweet voice was, i have been tricked by an sweet voice not too long ago. The first thing out of the entrance caught me by surprise a yellow pony with an pink mane carrying several cages, why would someone colour an simple pony the cost would of been big with little point. I kept my eyes strained for the owner of the sweet voice. Nothing came out after the burdened pony except a large white rabbit. The pony set the baskets down by the edge of the pond, but I kept the strange colored equine from distracting me as I watched the entrance. "There you go little one go out and make lots of friends." I whipped my head round at the sound of the voice and found the sweet voice being issued by the funny coloured pony. Unfortunately the noise from my head startled the pony and she scrambled away from the bank of the pond I could see her eyes going wide. "W-who's t-there?" the voice did come from the little pony with the rabbit standing in front of her, I guess it was a female because of its voice. I lifted my jaw out of the water an asked "Sorry I surprised you but you surprised me when you started talking, How can you speak I've never seen a pony talk before?" my voice seem to calm the pony a little as when she spoke she stammered less. "I'm F-fluttershy, everypony that I know can talk, some talk a little too much," Fluttershy said "And who are you?" The question startled me out of thoughts "I'm Tremulous, yes it's a silly name, but more importantly can you help me my wing is badly hurt and I think my arm is broken."

The yellow pony got up as quick as a flash and said "Yes come on out an I'll see what I can do." With that I started to drag myself back out of the shaded area of the pond as my head emerged from the dark side and into the light the yellow pony started to quail back and away. I stopped and craned my neck down to look at her more closely as I did she let out a squeal and bolted back through the entrance screaming "DRAGON!!!!!" the white bunny swinging from her mane. "Well," I said to myself "that could have gone better." My mind was still reeling from the fact that I had just had a conversation with a pink maned pony. After examining the clearing several more times and trying to push past the trees at the paths entrance I gave up and went over to the pond an got an drink, casting one eye at the basket that the talking pony had left unfortunately she had knocked it over and the bunnies had escaped into the forest where I couldn't follow, they would of made an nice snack. With nothing better to do I curled up in the sun and stared to snooze.

The sun was rising on the second day of my crash as I opened my eyes, the harsh light bringing me out of my slumber. after an quick drink from the pond i started to pace my wooden enclosure, straining to hear through the trees for something. I caught an strand of converstion, the first voice i hadn't heard before but the second voice I reconised as the strange pony I had met yesterday. "come on Fluttershy, there hasnt been any dragons in these woods for at least a year" the first voice filtered through the trees "besides im ment to be looking for someone or somthing that flashed into Equestria" "I know what i saw Twilight, and im not going in there" fluttershy's voice came through along with some scuffling sounds. "O Fluttershy, well looks like its just the two of us for this one right spike" the voice that was called Twilght said. "Guess so Twi, im starting to think fluttershy wont like me when im bigger" "O, Spike dont be silly, you will still be you and fluttershy knows that" Twilight said. I half clambed up the tree that was next to the enterance I waited for the two beings to pass under me. "see i told Fluttershy there was no dra....." she said as I thudded to the ground between them an the exit. "holy moly" exclaimed the little purple an green thing "please be calm I only want my questions answered" I said with the softest voice i could manage from an 15 ton dragon. In reaspons the purple pony sat down on her haunche. "And what Questions would an dragon have for me and more importanly, why do you need them answered you have probly been around long enough to know" the purple pony said while scowling at me. "please just listen to me when the other pony saw me she screamed an ran" the pony rolled her eyes "however can you tell me where we are? and can you help me?" Tiwlight cocked her head at me an asked "you dont know where you are? where are you from? and how can I help you?" "well can you do something about my wing or my shoulder first they hurt quite a bit" "sure im no medical pony but I'l do what I can" with that I turned my back to the pony as she continued "Im Twilight Sparkle an this is my assistant Spike, Sweet Celestia what hppend to your wing?" "I think I may have dislocated some of the bones in my wing when i crashed over there" I replyed waving a claw in the vage direction of where i landed. "ok I think i can do this, hold still this going to hurt" I felt an odd sensation over my wing i swung my head back to see what Twilight was doing then roared out in pian as the first bone snaped into place then I blacked out.

I opend my eyes to find two ponys staring down at me Twilight had an look like she was deep in thought, the second was wearing an frightend face. "Hello Fluttershy I said when i reconised the yellow pony "are you going to run again?" "No she isn't an you should be a bit nicer to the pegasus who helped me help you" Twilight siad in an huff. I gave an slow blink an said "Sorry Fluttershy, but when you ran like that yesterday I felt more than a little hurt" "Im sorry too Mr Tremulous" Twilight giggled at the name until I gave her an flat stare with one eye "I shouldn't of run out like that but im just so scared of dragons with your sharp claws and teeth an burn everything up with fire, but then Twilight told me what your name ment" I gave her anougher flat stare " I knew that you must be kind like spike here and not like other dragons" "Thank you Fluttershy i accept that apology but one question, what makes you think im an fire breather?" she gave an startled look "you dont breath fire?" then Twilight interupted "and I think I know why Tremulous cant breath fire and has no idea where he is?" I lifted my head of the ground and looked at Twilight with both eyes."but first i need you to answer an question Tremulous, wich is what was happening the night that you crashed?" I reared up onto my haunchs and scratched my head with an claw."it was dark and i was flying above the ocean looking for food when an storm came through it was faster the any storm ive encountered, I was battling an updraft when a fork of lighting went off near me and the updaft vanished as did the ocean, as i was fighting an powerfull updraft the absent of wich flung me into the gound" "I thought so, the lighting didnt hit near you, it forked above you so you where in the middle, Ive read about this before but its so rare, any way what happend was when you caught in the lighting fork" she held out her hoofs in an representation of the lightining bolt "you were transported here when the fork collapsed". I sat there for a minute then said "can I get back?" Twilght replyed slowly "normaly I would say yes, however ive never met someone from you world" my heart sank and i slowly led back down on the ground and closed my eyes, a single tear running down my nose. the I flelt something grab me I opned my eye an was surprised when i saw the pink mained mare hugging me,I curled my neck round her to hug her back "shh its all right, its ok im sure Twilght can find a way, dont cry" the reassurances flowed like water from the kind pegasus.

"Well im going to get Doctor Stable to have an look at your wing, then when i get back were going to need send a letter to princess Celestia" i bearly noticed her leave my mind was going over who I would never see agian."So where you come from dragons don't breath fire huh?" I opened my eyes to find the little 'dragon' looking at me. "Spike you leave Tremulous alone he dosn't need the reminder of home" the outburst from the yellow mare surprised me but i could see she was curious too, but she was kind enough to quell her curiosty i unwound my neck from her and sat up sphinx like. "its all right Fluttershy, I don't mind and I saw the curosity in your eyes too, I thank you for holding it for me" she looked down an fiddled with the ground "In answear to your question Spike yes and no, only some dragons breath fire, that abilty is rare the more common ability is to be able to spit acid, and only one breed posess the abilty know as the 'divine wind' which is to be able to turn a roar into an force". The little dragon cosiderd this then fluttershy spoke "when you said 'only one breed' do you mean like im an pegasus an Twilight is an unicorn, if so what breed can use the 'divine wind'? and what breed are you?" she finished in a rush. I gave her an thoughfull expression "well I think you are right about the breeds each breed looks different an is usally bigger or smaller, the one breed that can use the divine wind is the Celestial and my father was an Celestial and my mother was an Kazilik an fire breather, however i have yet to pick up the divine wind or the abilty to breath fire" Fluttershy looked at me then spike said "wow you must be one bigger dragons cause your the biggest one ive seen" with that I snorted an laughed "well no little one my sire an dam were heavy weights yes, but im only an light weight" fluttershys eyes went wide as she asked "how big was your parents?" I cocked my head at her then replyed "I am 15 tons my father was an forty ton dragon, but the largest dragon i know was 60 tons". When i looked back down i saw that Fluttershy had sat down an both her and spike were gaping at me.
