#1 of Confusion and Complications

Hello all! This is my first time posting on here. This chapter is a beginning to the story. If people like it, I will continue. If not, I will just pretend nothing ever happened. Gimme some response if you can please! Thanks.

Crimson Colt

Colt is my creation... more like me in a different form. Don't steal him please!

'It all started yesterday...'

The clock in the classroom was starting to drive me up the wall. Why did Mrs. Kash have to do a exam on the last day before holidays? She really knows how to piss me off. "30 minutes left." She said looking at the clock. The woman was a pain in the butt owl.

I rolled my eyes as I finally got up and handed in the exam that she gave us. I turned to walk out of the classroom before she stopped me. "Colt, can you come back here please?"

'Damnit.' I thought before walking back to Mrs. Kash's desk. "Did I do something wrong Mrs. Kash?" I said looking at my test that she was holding in her wing.

She looked at me, then back at the test. "You wrote this test a little fast, Colt. Are you sure you answered everything fully and completely?"

I nodded. "Yes, Mrs. Kash. That is as best as I can do."

Mrs. Kash opened the test and started reading some of the answers. It felt like an eternity when she was looking through the pages. "I must say... this is really well done." She closed the test and looked at me trying to gauge a reaction from me.

All that I did was stare back at her. "See what happens when I study Mrs. Kash? I can actually pull off good marks in your class."

"Good marks you say?" She said opening up my test once again and went to the essay question. She read my first paragraph before opening her marking booklet. She scanned for my name. "Cally, Chris, Crimson." She said going over to the place where the final test mark square was. She then opened a textbook of hers and scanned a page. "Tell me Crimson, do you know what happens to people who copy essays from textbooks on a test?" She said closing the book, looking at me like she was the queen of the world.

"Ma'am... they receive a zero in the class and possibly become expelled." I said trying to think why she would come up with a question like that.

Mrs. Kash shook her head. "And I thought you knew better than that. Look at your essay and then look at that essay in the textbook, if you please, Crimson."

I opened the book and the essay and compared the two works. My essay raised the same points, but worded differently. "And? Why do you think that I copied this essay?" I asked snapping back at her.

She quoted my intro paragraph to my essay, and then the intro to the textbook essay. "Aren't they close?" She asked taking the textbook back.

"Mrs. Kash, are you accusing me of copying the essay from this textbook?" I said feeling a pit of rage starting to build in my stomach.

She took my test away from me and tore it up right infront of my eyes. "Does this give you a big enough hint? Yes, I am accusing you of cheating Crimson." She said throwing my test into the garbage. "Prove to me that you didn't cheat, right here and right now and I will give you a passing mark on this final. If not, you will be expelled." She said staring right at me. "Well? Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

I shook my head. "Mrs. Kash. You know me better than that. I barely pass my classes, and I have never cheated on any assignment, project or test for you over the past 3 years. What makes you think that I would cheat on the final test that I would ever give you?" I said trying to keep myself calm.

She opened her marking booklet and read down the list to my name. "Cally, Chris, Crimson." She then trailed over to the place where the final test mark was going to go. She grabbed her pen, thought over what I just said and then marked a zero in the spot. "I will inform the principal that you cheated on my exam and he will expel you. Tough luck, Crimson. You can leave now." She said turning her head back to the clock. "You still have plenty of time class." She said.

I turned to the class to see if any of them heard in on the little talk that Mrs. Kash and I had. Everyone else was working. Even Cally, my girlfriend of 3 years wasn't paying attention. She was working on her exam still. I couldn't control my rage any longer. "You know what Mrs. Kash?" I said raising my voice, which caught a few other students attention. "I gritted the past 3 years, doing your bullshit assignments, taking your verbal abuse and playing kiss-up just so I can pass your god-damn classes." Now the majority of the students were looking at me. "I am sick of this crap that you tell me that I cheated on this exam." When I spoke those words, Cally's head rose instantly. She didn't say anything, just looked at me like I had just committed murder. "You know what Mrs. Kash? Fuck you, you worthless whore! Fuck this entire school!" I turned to leave, I walked to the door and then turned to Cally. "And Fuck you too. You don't even have the decency to help defend your boyfriend. You know what? I hope you fucking rot in hell... we're through." I said leaving the classroom and went down to the principal's office.

Ms. Tracy was a golden retriever who literally had a heart of gold. "Crimson, what are you doing here? You are supposed to be writing Mrs. Kash's final exam." She said looking down into the hallway making sure that no one else heard her. "What happened?" She said knowing for a fact that something had occured in the classroom.

I shook my head, fighting back tears. "She accused me of cheating and gave me a zero on my exam. I also sort of took out some frustration out on her."

Ms. Tracy gasped. "Did you beat her up?" She said looking out in the hallway again.

I laughed a little. "If only I could." I said sighing. "I told her off and stormed out of the classroom. I need to talk to Mr. Wimms telling him that I will be dropping out of school, effective today."

Ms. Tracy picked up the phone into Mr. Wimms office. "Mr. Wimms? Crimson is here. He needs to tell you something important." She didn't say a thing as she listened to Mr. Wimms response. "Thank you, Sir." She said hanging up the phone. "You can head in." She said nodding. "Sorry to hear what had happened."

I looked at her and then walked inside Mr. Wimms office. "Hello Mr. Wimms." I said closing the door behind me.

Mr. Wimms was a stallion that demanded respect from the people around him. He took a liking to me ever since I stepped foot into this school. "Crimson! How are you, you young pup?" He said offering me a chair. "Ms. Tracy told me that you had something important to tell me?"

I swallowed hard as I looked down to my bluish colored fur. I don't know where I got the name Crimson from. I swar my parents are color blind. "Yes, I do mr Wimms..." I said looking up at him. "I'm here to tell you that I am dropping out of school."

Mr. Wimms jumped out of his chair. "You are doing what?! Dropping out of school? But why?" He said sitting back down and regaining his composure. "What is causing you to drop out of school?" He asked, greatly concerned.

"Mrs. Kash. She accused me of cheating on her final exam... You know the rules Mr. Wimms. If a student cheats on an exam, they are expelled." I said lowering my head again, the urge to cry coming back again. "I tried explaining to her that I didn't cheat, but she didn't care. So I was thinking that I should drop out instead of being expelled."

My principal rose up and started pacing around. "Seems logical... and the rule has to stand. If she says you cheated, and she believes it to the bone, I guess their is no other choice. You have the rest of the day to clean out your lockers and be off the grounds by school's end."

I got up and reached out a paw to Mr. Wimms. "Understood, Sir. It's been a pleasure being here." He took my paw and shook it before I left is office. I said my goodbye to Ms. Tracy and walked down the hall to my locker. I opened my locker and placed all the items into my backpack and closed my locker, with the lock open, the symbol of the school meaning that this student has quit. I walked out of the school, and headed down the street, heading for home. "The parent's are really going to love hearing that I dropped out of school..." I said to myself as I kept walking with my head down, tears finally beginning to fall.

Well, that's about it. Gimme some feedback here, on MSN ([email protected]), or Yahoo (disc_m388) Thanks!
