"What the hell am I supposed to do now?" I thought as I leaned back in Sesna. "Out of all the planes and helicopters we had why the hell did I choose this one?" As I continued to question my decisions I forgot to pay attention to my bearings and altitude. I looked straight forward in time to see that I was about to crash into a cliff. I searched for a way to avoid it but my plane wouldn't be able to move quickly enough. When I tried to turn the plane around the steering wheel was stuck in place. I decided to bail out and opened up the weapons compartment and dropped them all out. After everything else was out I grabbed a parachute and jumped out myself. I opened up my parachute and heard my plane explode against the side of the mountain. Once I was ten feet off the ground I ditched my parachute and went to find the guns and ammo that I dropped. It took me a few minutes but I found my MG42, Desert Eagle, custom, and both shotguns along with almost all of my ammo. I strapped the MG and full length shotgun to my back and put my Desert Eagle and custom onto my sides.

After making sure that they were all loaded I looked for anything else that would have fallen out of the plane. After I found my luggage case of clothes, gun maintenance supplies, about seven flares, and all three of my knives. I put the two switchblades in each of my pockets and my fixed blade knife was in my right paw. 'I feel sorry for someone who tries to attack me.' I thought with a sly grin on my muzzle. I started walking along the mountains while staying hidden in the forest below it. A couple miles of walking away from my plane I heard a helicopter and felt the wind coming off of the rotors. I began running right before a rifle shot at me from my right side, hitting me in the arm forcing me to let my knife go. I looked over to the offender and saw a young kid, only about ten years old, pointing a rifle at me. I walked over to him and looked him in the eye, smelling the scent of fear everywhere. "Nobody shoots me." I told him before hitting him in the head with my shotguns barrel.

I put the rifle onto my back as well before putting my knife back into its sheath and grabbing my other shotgun in my empty paw. I continued to walk until about midday when I looked over and saw a gap in the mountains rocks. After making sure that it wouldn't cave in on me I got onto my belly and crawled into the hole. After I crawled for a few seconds I crawled out of the hole into what sounded like a cave by the echoes of my clinking guns. I used one of my flares and saw that I was in what seemed to be a reservoir. I decided that this would be my daytime hideout. I took all my guns and lined them up against the walls beside the entrance. After the flare went out I realized that there was still some light shining off of the walls. 'Who knew that I'd be happy to see fungus?' I asked myself as I looked at the bioluminescent film on the wall. 'I don't think it'll take me too long to get rid of these stalagmites.' I thought to myself as I broke one off of the ground. I looked at what was left of it on the ground and saw something shining that was somewhat clear. I pulled it out of the ground and looked at it carefully. Unfortunately, the light from the bacteria wasn't enough for me to make out the details of the rock so I put it in my pocket to look at later.

I took the next hour to clear away all the stalagmites and kept on finding different colored rocks in different places. I got out of the cave with my pockets full of the rocks I found and my knives. Since it was only four I still had enough light to examine the stones I brought out of the cave. After I looked at all of them I saw that they were diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. "I wish this was flint or somethin'. What can I do with these things out here. The only thing I can use is the diamonds if I sharpen them. Oh well." I said as I put the biggest diamond back in my pocket. I started walking for a little bit before coming across a dump. I climbed the fence that they had and started looking through the garbage for anything that could be of use to me. I found a couple metal pipes, some markers, a little bit of plywood, a small cardboard box, and a large cardboard box.

I hopped back over the fence and went back to my new hideout. I put the large cardboard box down on the left side of the entrance and the small cardboard box on the right side of the entrance. After that I put the plywood pieces on the top the keep the insides somewhat dry. On the big box I wrote 'Gemstones' and on the smaller box I put 'Ammunition'. After that I put a sign beside the gemstones box that said 'Take as many gems as you want but put ammunition in the box after you take the gems. Rifle ammo, shotgun ammo, and 50 caliber pistol ammo are all accepted.' I just crawled back into my new hideout and went to sleep with the bio-luminescent bacteria glowing slightly in front of my muzzle.

When I woke up a few hours later I took a quick look around me and didn't see anything to suggest that someone came into here while I was asleep. I stood up and stretched before going over to the reservoir and feeling it with my fingers. It felt about the same as my body temperature and even possibly a little warmer so I just decided to take a swim. After a few minutes I stepped over the edge carefully and quickly fell underneath the surface of the water until the surface was about five feet from the top of my head. I swam quickly to the top and regained my breath. I decided to see what was at the bottom so I decided to dive to the bottom and see what was there. I got up out of the water and did a swan dive back in before swimming to the bottom as fast as I could. After swimming for a minute or two I felt something under my front paws. I grabbed the object and pulled it as hard as I could.

It came away from the bottom easily and I swam back up to the surface with whatever it was in my paws. When I reached the surface and looked at what I had brought back I saw that it was a portable underwater welding kit that was still in pretty good shape. I dove back down a couple of times and quickly discovered that I was swimming over a persons bones. After retrieving everything from the bottom I realized that the man must have been welding something down there when somebody came up behind him and cut the hose connecting his face mask and oxygen tank. He wouldn't have been able to swim to the surface because his suit weighed too much, so he drowned before being able to pull the cord on the inflatable pack around his waist.

'I could use all these things. I wish that the oxygen tank wasn't empty though. At least he had an underwater rifle. I'll just dry out the bones, grind them up, and then dispose of them somewhere in the forest. I could probably use the wetsuit if I need it, but I really don't want to have my fur messed up to much. Before I do anything I need to find out what he was welding down there.' I thought to myself for a few minutes before diving back into the water. When I reached the bottom I looked and saw that there was an oil pipe with a crack in it. 'I guess they shut off the pipe after they found out it wasn't sealed.' I thought before deciding to see where this reservoir comes from. I swam over to the last part of it that I saw was still in the cave to regain my breath. After breathing for about a minute I dived back down and went underneath the rocks. I was swimming for about five minutes before I saw a light above me and started heading up.

As I broke through the waters surface I gasped for breath and started looking around. I was slightly disappointed to see that it was only a pocket of air that was about three feet around. I got over to the outer edge and took even more breaths. After a minute I took one final breath before heading back under and continuing to swim towards the end. After a minute or so I reached a steel grate. I kicked it as hard as I could with both of my hind paws, knocking it off the support structure, and swum through the hole. I reached another spot of light and headed up again. I broke the surface slowly and looked around. I saw that I was in a pool of water at the bottom of a steel factory. As I looked around I saw that it was covered in dust, cobwebs, and other filth. I finally pulled myself out of the water after observing everything for a couple minutes. I went over to the controls and saw that the key was missing from the ignition. I just grabbed a couple pieces of steel wire and inserted them into the hole. I crossed my fingers and turned the wires. The factory suddenly came to life around me.

I smiled to myself as I watched the controls light up before I thought of one large consequence of my actions, what if this place is near a town? I turned the machinery off and ran to the front door. I peeked out of it and didn't see anything so I walked out to look around the factory. I walked back in with a sigh of relief since I wasn't near a town. I turned the factory back on and watched as the machines started melting metal and pouring it into small molds. As the previous molds were broke free I saw that they were bullets. I began to walk around a little bit and saw what I hadn't been able to earlier, a giant mixing machine with bags of charcoal, saltpeter, and sulfur around it. I was ecstatic that I had found a bullet factory.

As I began to look around even more I discovered that there were boxes full of all shapes and sizes of primers. I saw that they even had primers for artillery rounds. I decided to hop onto the roof and get a look around. After I climbed up the metal stairs and opened up the door to the roof I discovered that there was a mortar tube with cases of mortar shells at the outer right edge. I went over and saw that the mortars were large and heavy enough to take out a tank. "Now I remember this place. Me and Sorath came here once because we knew that there was ammo. I wish that we had counted on the army sending tanks though. Wait a minute. If this is still here then the tanks should still be around here too." I told myself as I jumped off the roof and landed on my feet. I started to run to the forest in front of that mortar tube. After running for about two and a half minutes I almost hit a tank. 'Perfect.' I thought as I ripped the tank apart to get the firing pin and launch tube in one piece.

I opened the tube and a shell fell out of it. 'I might as well see if I can fire this free handed.' I thought to myself before imagining what chaos I could cause. I loaded the shell back into the tanks chamber and aimed it at a tree a few hundred yards away. I put it up to my shoulder and hit the button on the back to fire it. The tube shot back over my shoulder about five feet, dragging the hot metal over my fur and causing me to yell out in pain. As I sat there I started tearing the tanks into smaller pieces out of frustration and pain. After I finished with my little therapy session I grabbed the tube and ejected the shell casing. I just decided to take the tubes and the rest of the tank pieces and melt them down for bullets.

'If lead does such a good job at going through humans then a steel bullet should should go through humans and cars.' I thought as I gathered as much as I could carry. I winced as I touched my right shoulder where the launch tube was. The fur there was burned and my skin was showing burn marks as well. I hurried and drug the tank pieces with me back to the factory. I put them in an empty pot and went to make myself a few normal bullets while it melted. I also changed the mold to fit my Desert Eagle and mixed up some gunpowder. After I finished making bullets with the old lead I poured the molten steel into the new mold and let it set. While it was cooling I turned off the machinery's power supply it didn't dump them out too early.

I pulled myself back out of the water with the bag full of bullets still in my right hand. I put them over with everything else and grabbed my new rifle to go get myself something for dinner. As I walked through the woods at around six I suddenly smelled a human and jumped up into the tree I was underneath at the time. As I watched below me I saw a father and son in blaze orange, each carrying a rifle. I smiled and chuckled to myself as I remember when my dad had taken me hunting. My happiness was immediately gone as soon as I saw that they had seen my tracks and began following them. I jumped down behind them and dashed to the side before they turned around.

While they were distracted I ran back to my hideout and crawled under it. I put on my trenchcoat and pulled the hood over my head enough to cover my entire muzzle. I crawled back out and sat down between the boxes. After a few minutes the two people I saw earlier came through the forest and walked towards me. "Sir?" the father asked as he pointed his gun at the ground. "What is it?" I asked sounding as kind as I could. "You seem to be sitting in front of a wolves den. You really should get moving away from here before those beasts come back and kill you." Hearing him call wolves beasts made me a little angry at him.

"Why do you say that wolves are beasts sir?" I ask him as I stood up, being careful to keep my feet concealed. "Dad, look at all of these colorful rocks." the boys exclaimed as he held up a handful of the gemstones while holding his gun in my direction. I jumped to the right exactly before the boy accidentally pulled the trigger. "Stranger!" the man exclaimed as he turned to where I was previously standing. "You stupid boy. You could have killed that innocent man." the father yelled at his child as he grabbed the boys rifle. "I... I didn't mean to dad. It... it was an accident." the boy said between sobs. "It's okay child." I said from behind the kid as I put my hand on his shoulder. "Why aren't you angry stranger? My son almost shot you." the father asked in a surprised tone of voice as he propped both of their guns on the side of the mountain.

"I've been shot before sir, it isn't as big a deal to me as it would be for you. Besides, it was an accident and accidents happen. He made a mistake and he will learn from it. Now come and comfort your son." I told him as the boy continued sobbing. I watched as the man went over to his son and apologized for making him cry. He saw that his son had held onto one of the gemstones and told him to put it back. "I'm giving those away sir. You and him can take as many as you want." I told them as I pulled the plywood off the top, revealing all of the gems that I had collected from the cavern. "Are you sure that you want to give us these?" the man asked as he held up an emerald to the light. "Yes I am. I have no use for them out here." I told him as I watched the son fill his backpack with the stones. After they finished the man turned towards me. "Where did you get all of these anyway?" "They were in that cavern right there." I told him as I pointed towards the entrance.

"Just be careful sir. I'd hate to see you get killed by one of those monsters." When he called wolves monsters I snapped. I jumped on top of him, feeling my hood fly off my head, and started growling at him showing off my pointed teeth. He started screaming bloody murder as his son cowered against the rocks. "I want to know why you call us monsters." I said in a slow deliberate tone. "Look at how much they kill." the man said as he tried to seem as small as possible.

"Wolves only kill when they must eat or when something invades into their territory. Humans, however, are the only species I know that kills for fun. The only time that it's a big deal when a human kills is when it's another human or an animal that's rare or out of season. Nobody makes a big deal when a human kills a wolf but when the roles are reversed humans will try to eliminate the entire species. If a human kills an animal quickly and for food, then I don't see the problem with hunting. But when somebody just kills an animal and leaves its body out to rot then I see that as the equivalent of murder. Now grab you guns and get out of here." I growled as I let him go.

"How do you know that we won't just shoot you?" he asked as he grabbed his gun. "There are two reasons that you would probably not shoot me. One is that I have a somewhat human form and mind which would deter most people because they match the human form to a human being. The second is that I have this." I told him as I pulled out my Desert Eagle. "I can hit a target at over five hundred yards with this so it doesn't matter how much you run." "You wouldn't kill a father and his son would you?" the man asked as he slowly backed away from me with his son behind him.

"I have killed many parents before. However, I draw the line when it comes to killing children. An adult has most likely either screwed up somebodies life on purpose or has knowingly committed a crime. A child, however, might not understand what he or she is doing because their sense of right and wrong could possibly be warped from being abused or uncared for. Your child is a perfect example of what happens when a child grows up in a house with a family that loves them. I would appreciate it if you didn't mention me to anyone. It would cause me a great deal of trouble since the government's been trying to find me for the past forty years. I'm not planning on causing any problems for people around here. Comes and find me if you or your family is attacked or harassed and..." I stopped talking as soon as I realized that they had already run off.

"Now that that's over with, I think I'll go get myself something to eat." I said to myself as I stood up and stretched. I picked up my rifle and headed into the woods. I saw a pretty nice sized buck in front of me after walking around for a little while. I carefully took aim with my rifle and fired. The buck dropped to the ground immediately. I walked over to it and proceeded to butcher it. After about twelve minutes I had left no trace that anything had happened except for the freshly overturned earth and the drops of blood from the meat I was holding. I walked back to my new home and built a fire outside to smoke the meat before heading inside to shoot down the stalactites on the ceiling. After I shot down the last of the stalactites and put all the gemstones from them into the box outside I swept the rocks into the reservoir and checked on my smoking meat. After it was finished I put it in the cave and blocked off the entrance so that no animal could get in while I was asleep. I ate my fill and proceeded to fall asleep stretched out on the floor.

I awoke to the sound of something scratching at the door I made. I grabbed my pistol and went over to the entrance. I looked through a little hole I made earlier and saw a mountain lion at the door. I aimed at where it seemed to be and fired twice. I looked back through the hole and saw its body lying there twitching. I opened the door and got rid of the body before going back inside and falling asleep again.

The next time I woke up I saw that the little blockade for my door was torn down. I looked around me and saw that I was in the middle of a group of sleeping feral wolves. I slowly got up and started heading for the door before I heard one of them growling behind me. I turned around and saw that I was facing the alpha male of the pack. I slowly started to back up without looking him into the eyes before tripping over a sleeping wolf behind me and falling onto my tail. The alpha then jumped on top of me and put his jaws to my throat. I reached up ad held him up off the ground by his neck.

I stood up while still holding onto him and looking around. I saw that all of the wolves were standing away from us and simply watching. I threw the alpha onto the ground at my feet and held him down by his throat. I got down on my knees and growled into his face. He bit down hard on my muzzle making me release him and reel back in pain. He rammed into my chest knocking me back down to his level. I decided too end the fight right there and held my arm up in front of my face, which he latched onto. I grabbed his chest with my free hand and started crushing his ribs. Once he let go of my arm I threw him into the opposite wall with my full force. When he hit the wall I heard his skull crack along with the rest of his spine. One of the other wolves went over to his body and started sniffing it.

After a few seconds he barked and the rest of the pack formed a circle around me. I stayed in my fighting position since I didn't know much about feral wolves. One wolf came up to my side and stood there and when I reached down to pet her she licked my hand. I started walking back to the entrance after putting on my trenchcoat but the female wolf stayed beside me and the rest of the pack moved out of our way. I climbed out the front while still being followed by the wolf pack. I suddenly understood what was going on after one of the other females tried to come up to me. The female that stayed by my side attacked her and pinned her down. The female on the bottom was being submissive so the alpha female, which I decided to name Jane, came back to my side while the other one ran to the back of the pack.

'I guess that I'm the alpha male now.' I thought to myself as I walked into the forest with the rest of my pack following me. After walking for about five minutes I accidentally walked onto the edge of a town. Before I could back up one of the townspeople pointed at me and screamed. "It's a witch." the man yelled before running into his home. After I heard the door slam I saw that everybody was looking at me and the rest of the pack. Suddenly I heard a gunshot from in front of me and a yelp to my back left. I looked at the dead wolf behind me and then back at the town. I saw a man with a smoking rifle pointed at us outside of the inn. I charged at the man furiously. He hit me with a shot before I jumped and landed on top of him with my hood still covering my face. I ripped his throat out with my hand and threw it in the inns doorway.

I stood there, looking at the terrified faces of the townspeople while waiting for my pack to catch up. "If any of you harm another member of my pack then you shall die." I told them in a cold voice before my pack caught up to me. I started walking towards the butcher shop with my pack behind me and the people running into their homes. When I got to the butcher shop the door was closed. "Stay away. You and those wolves are not welcome in here." the shopkeep said after I knocked on the door. "What if I come in alone. Would that be acceptable?" I asked through the door. A crack appeared in the door and a hand ushered me in. My pack tried to follow me in but I stopped them all except for Jane. "She's not letting me come in alone sir." I told him through the crack. "Just tell me what you want and I'll hand it to you through the door."

"I'll take ten pounds of your finest beef." "How am I supposed to put that through this crack? I need a wheelbarrow to carry that much." "I shall make sure that my wolves don't hurt you." The man carefully opened the door with a long stick and pushed out a wheelbarrow filled with meat. He was watching the wolves as they all growled at him when he approached me. "That'll be sixty three eighty sir." he said as he held out a shaking hand. "Of course my good man. Keep the change." I told him as I pressed a cloth bag full of gems into his hand. Once I touched the man one of the wolves lunged at him. I caught the wolf with my empty hand and pushed him back onto the ground. The man who stood in front of me had his eyes shut tight and he reeked of fear. "I don't plan on coming here very often sir. Have a good day." I casually told him while pushing the wheelbarrow with one hand.

"What's in this little fuckin bag though? Unless it's full of bills then there's no damn way it adds up to your total you freak." the shop owner said as he rose to his feet. I let go of the wheelbarrow and got in his face. "It looks like the pig man grew a pair. But if he doesn't shut up I'll rip that new pair off and feed it to him. Why don't you just look in the bag and shut the fuck up?" I asked as I pulled him close enough that he could see only my eyes. He started screaming and it hurt my ears so I threw him onto the ground a little harder than a human could. I watched as his eyes lit up when he finally got the bag open. I turned around and walked off as I heard him scream in joy and slam his door behind me. I got to the grocery store and walked in.

I didn't see anybody in there but I smelled someone behind the counter. I ignored the scent as me and the pack put a few things into a provided bag. "Could you please check me out ma'am." I asked the lady hiding behind the counter. "Leave me alone!" she yelled at me from her hiding spot. "But I just-" "I said leave me alone!" she yelled again as she pointed a pistol in my face. I pulled out my sawed off shotgun and put it to her head. "If you put down your gun then I will put down mine." I calmly told her as I watched the fear well up in her eyes. She dropped the gun and help up her hands. "As I was saying,I would like you to check these items out for me." "Why did you kill that innocent man?" she asked me while keeping her hands in the air.

"He killed one of my pack so he deserved to die. Now please don't talk and bag my groceries." she said nothing as she bagged my groceries while carefully watching my packmates. After I payed her I began walking out of town. I heard a gunshot come from behind me and felt a large spot on my back erupt in pain. I turned around and saw a woman with a shotgun in her hands. I withdrew my sawed off, pointed it at her head, and fired both barrels. Everybody, including my pack, was frightened by me now. I slid the shotgun back in my coat and began to walk back into the forest. My alpha female was the first to approach me. As she came up beside me I continued to walk, but now a little more relaxed. Once I got everything back into the den I threw a large piece of meat to Jane and smaller pieces to everyone else. I took an apple out of the grocery bag and bit into it, savoring the sweet juice before it dripped onto the floor. After I finished with the apple I cooked some of the beef and ate my fill. Once I finished eating, inspecting all my guns, and checking to make sure they were all loaded I curled up to my tail and went to sleep.

When I awoke something was brushing against the tip of my nose. I opened my eyes and saw Jane's tail tickling my nose. I stood up and stretched before sitting back down on my butt. Jane came up and sat right beside me with a strange look on her muzzle. I listened for a minute or two and heard voices coming from the direction of the forest through the entrance hole. I stood up once more and grabbed my MG42 from the wall. I crawled to the outside edge of the entrance before setting it up with the guns muzzle out of the cave. Jane was trying to come up beside me before I growled and barked back at her to signify that she should go back. After she left I looked through the sights and saw a group of the villagers slowly and silently following the tracks that me and the rest of the pack had made.

I aimed for the center of mass on the lead person and opened fire. After I shot down five of them my gun jammed. I knew that I couldn't clear it in time so I pushed it out of the way before charging the group and ripping them down with my claws. After I thought I was finished I felt a knife go into my side and a hand go around my neck. I struggled until his grip loosened enough for me to bite down on his hand and rip it off. I turned around and finished him off quickly. I was struggling to breath and my vision was growing hazy as I crawled back to my pack. I fell down onto my knees and saw Jane's muzzle before succumbing to unconsciousness.

As I opened my eyes I thought that I was dead or dreaming so I looked around while not moving. I heard a sound by the door so I shot up and immediately felt a horrible pain in my side. As I clutched my injury I heard claws scraping against the ground and a deep growl. As I looked over to the sounds I saw another wolf carrying something in its mouth. As I looked closer, I saw that it was a squirrel. As I got up again, slowly this time, Jane stood up beside me as she always does.

I rubbed her and carefully stood up while staring at the wolf guarding the entrance. I walked over to the bag of food I had bought and grabbed out a peach. I ate it quickly and realized just how hungry I was. After eating a few more pieces of fruit and about two pounds of the smoked venison I had left I was finally full. I looked at my wound and saw that it was a rather large gash. I went over to the water and started watching the blood off of me from the townspeople I killed. After I finished that I got my MG and leaned it up beside the rest of my guns and decided to go and have a 'talk' with the towns mayor.

I walked into the town with my pack beside me and saw that it was deserted. I went to the biggest place in the town and knocked on the door. As I had expected I didn't get an answer. "If you don't open this door right know I will break it down and allow my pack to kill you all." I screamed through the door. "Good luck with that. This door is six inches thick and the hinges are made of steel." I heard from inside. I took a step back and kicked the middle of the door, knocking it off of the hinges and into the guard behind it. I let the wolves attack and kill everyone except for the man cowering in the corner. I slowly walked up to him and bent down.

"Why did you send a group to kill me?" I asked while breathing heavily for dramatic effect. "You are trying to save those damn monsters from us. They kill and eat our livestock along with an occasional villager. They should be destroyed." I lifted him up by his shirt with one hand and took off my hood with the other. "The villagers were trespassing on our territory and you humans are killing off the natural food sources that we eat by raising your animals. If we take the occasional sheep or pig it is because we can't find anything else to eat. You and the rest of the humans in this town are the monsters, not us." I told him before ripping his head off.

I called the rest of the wolves to follow me out the door. I took the mans head and tied it to the flagpole with a note stating that I will occasionally visit the town for certain supplies along with my pack. It also states that if anyone harms a member of my pack, intentional or otherwise, the same punishment shall be inflicted on the individual in question. As we walked out of the town I looked back and saw a man leaning out his window with a shotgun in his hands. I took out my Desert Eagle and shot him in the arm with it, knocking the weapon out of his grasp. We soon got back to the cave and I went to work cleaning my weapons by the reservoir.

It's been a few months since I crashed here and I am happy that I did. Jane has been replaced by another female that I have named Dahlia because of her black fur. We have three new litters of pups in the pack that me and Dahlia both take care of. The townspeople are still scared of me but they have learned that if they don't do anything to me then I won't do anything to them. A few days ago a man accidentally bumped into me in the street and almost passed out from fear when I reached down to help him up. I don't care what happens to Sorath or any of the others now because I have a new family that I will not leave.
