nohope part one
first story hope you enjoyed it
this is my first story in a world far in the future the date is december 21, 2012 .I was sitting im my house preparing for the worst.As there had been repots of a large meteor(imagine the lincon memorial statue bout that large and wide) headed for the down town area. Normally i would be headed in the other direction but do to the fact i dont own a car,license, and my friends are on the other side of downtowni was a sitting duck. Though there was one more crucial fact, it was going incredibly slow. it wasn't predicted to hit/land for another hour and a half.thats why i was preparing for the worst-case scenario[do to the fact i watched prometheues] very big thing having an even bigger beginning. i was passing the time by biting my nails (not long though) as i started watching the news it seemed the idiot newscaster and cameraman didnt watch cloverfield as they were walking right up to the do not cross line and filming the meteor. apparently a lot of time has passed as the objectis only feet above the camera. when i see it i freeze cold . *that cant be real.* it was. *its not possible.* apparently it is. *they have to get out of there!!!* i know they wont they're to awe-struck to move not to metion what it could to their minds. right as it was at shoulder height withe the cameraman images started popping on the screen. mere inches off the ground it started to glow . the moments to follow were insane as it hit the ground all the dirt inside the police tape disappeared THEN it got weird.either the cameraman or the camera floated up a little ways and tilted down towards the pit. as if that were a signal every one ran.one problem though, they ran TOWARDS the pit. as soon as every one was in the camera floated in facing up[heres a hint to what it is, wait a bit] as the camera stopped the SYMBOLS on the object floated off growing thick . it floated on the pit covering the cameras view.hours seemed to pass until finally it pulled off the pit and back on the object.[last hint and its big]the camerawas tossed up and fell on the ground outside the pit. its vision was fadeing out its last image was of the creatures from DEAD SPACE:SERIES . in the last moments of peace on earth my blood ran cold . i ran out the door.[if you haven't guessed yet here it comes]i ran away from home. i ran away from my friends. i ran away from downtown. i ran away from the camera. i ran away from the pit i ran away from THEM. i ran away from it.i ram away from the marker.
