Part 3: Blasphemy

The three elders looked around at each other, each one of them wise and tempered with age. They silently sat in contemplating glances while Fiiso stood by ready to plead to them. When they were ready to hear his statement they called him forth and he sat across from the high elder.

"Fiiso, shaman of the tribe, tell us why we should spare you and the blasphemers?" said the high elder with a stern gaze. Fiiso nervously fidgeted, the high elders usually left the village affairs in Fiiso's hands, however, this time it was different. Two days ago Jansen had been helping the village as usual, but this time he was training them for combat.

Jansen had declared that a great enemy was approaching and that to prepare them he would teach them how to defend themselves. The villagers had practiced diligently with spear, bow, and arrow. Jansen had shown them how to take on tall enemies, which he explained to them, would be enemies, riding on the backs of lizards with weapons.

Then in one particular incident one of the men had shot an arrow in the wrong direction. The villagers were shocked to see the avatar get struck on the arm by the arrow. The blow was glancing but the bright red that came from his skin showed that he was not as divine as they had thought.

The villagers would have descended upon him to tear him to shreds had they not been stopped by Yuna who pleaded that he have the elders consulted. Now the elders were in a sort of primitive trial would determine what would be the fate of the Fiiso, Yuna, and Jansen. Fiiso thought his words carefully.

"It was my fault elders, I assumed to quickly that this would be our deliverer, the girl, and the outsider, are faultless... I... I assume full responsibility." Fiiso knew it would be a death sentence for him yet he knew that he had judged too quickly. The elders murmured to each other quietly in consultation before the high elder spoke.

"Fiiso we still need you as our shaman, even your replacement is still not ready to assume his duties. However as punishment, when you die you will not be buried with the other dead shamans on the hill of the sun. Your spirit will wander restlessly, you will not go to paradise. Now send in the girl we will consult with her." The high elder made a dismissive gesture and Fiiso bowed with his eyes tearing. He would not see paradise now, all because of his blindness and arrogance, as he exited the hut he looked to Yuna who stood there nervously.

"The elders have summoned you..." Fiiso said and then walked back to his hut. Yuna nervously entered. The three elders were already in discussion when she walked in, she stood waiting. Then the head elder motioned for her to approach. Yuna did so and sat down in front of the three who looked at her in an unnerving fashion.

"Yuna, daughter of Kalif, tell us why we should spare you and the outsider?" the high elder said. Yuna thought for a good while, she tried to remember Jansen's parting words as the hunters tied him up to take him away. "Be brave." He had said, Yuna did have a more comprehensive view then most of the village, having spent the most time with Jansen she would have to plead her case without error.

"I will plead in his defense first, Jansen never claimed to be a deity. He never claimed to be anything more than a living being. He has not harmed us, but we all assumed he was some kind of avatar. Even I made that mistake. But now I know he is just a mortal like everyone else, and as a mortal he has a kind soul. He has brought to us beneficial teachings, he has made our lives easier, if anyone deserves to be executed it would be me for not telling the village that he was a mortal." Yuna didn't even twitch as she spoke, she was going to be brave, braver than she had ever thought herself to be.

"And has he taken you as his mate?" the high elder inquired, the other two elders were silent each of them watching for the girls response.

"I gave myself to him as his mate." Yuna said looking down. The high elder looked at the others and he whispered to them. All three contemplated the decision before nodding a response to the high elder.

"Yuna, daughter of Kalif, since you have pleaded on behalf of the outsider you shall share his fate... he will be spared, and since taking a mate from another, by death or any other process is against our laws, you shall be spared as well. Tell the guards that on our command the outsider be released." The high elder made a dismissive gesture to her and Yuna shakily got to her feet bowed slighted to them in respect and backed out of the tent.

Yuna embraced Jansen and kissed him passionately as the guard hunters released him from his bonds. He was a bit roughed up but it was nothing terrible. Jansen hugged her tightly and the guards backed out of the tent.

"They not kill you." She said and pressed her cheek to his chest.

"And what about you?" he asked with concern.

"You and me together, they not kill me." she affirmed with a soft nuzzle to him.

"And Fiiso?" Jansen inquired. Yuna looked up to Jansen and looked down.

"He not die, but he is shamed." She replied with a soft sigh. She felt bad that Fiiso had lost his status, she had overheard it, but there was no pleading to the high elder or the council about it. Fiiso would not be buried on the hill of the sun.

Jansen and Yuna both walked into the high elder's hut, they sat before them and Jansen bowed before speaking.

"Allow me to speak for the benefit of all." He said and Yuna translated quickly, the high elder gave a nod and Jansen continued.

"The great enemy is still coming and the village must prepare or they will kill everyone at best and at worst..." Jansen hesitated "They will kill the males, raise the children to be like them, and rape all the female, your tribe will be wiped out or shamed for all time." Jansen let Yuna explain, she did so with distain, the high elder contemplated before speaking.

"And what you do?" Yuna translated for the high elder to Jansen.

"I will fight, I will continue to teach your village how to fight these enemies and we can win." Jansen at least hoped in his heart that they would, or at least he'd de first and give the villagers a fighting chance. The high elder consulted with his council and then looked to Jansen speaking while Yuna interpreted.

"Yuna say you good, we accept your help, but once enemy is gone you will leave, Yuna go with you." Yuna was a bit stunned when she realized that she was going to be exiled from the village, but she had brought it upon herself, and she would accept it with a heavy heart. Jansen nodded, and bowed again, he took Yuna's hand and they left the hut.

Jansen watched and the villagers prepared for the upcoming battle. They were setting very primitive, yet effective traps, pungi stick traps, pig spike traps, and rockslide pull traps, set in strategic positions along the valley floor. Jansen could not estimate when the enemy force would arrive but it would be any day now. Randal was up and about, he was getting better but still unable to assist with the effort which was frustrating to the young rabbit.

It was almost dusk and the villagers had just finished with another spiked pit trap when one of the hunters made the call of a squawking flying lizard, indicating that there was something approaching. Jansen and the rest of the villagers hid, Jansen did not have his armor or his sword. If it was Kligror and his men they were in trouble.

However Jansen heart jumped for joy upon seeing the tattered and waving standard for the regional kingdoms. There only were three of them and all of them looked very worn and weary. Two of them were on riding lizard, and the third trudged behind wearily. Jansen careful made his way down so he could stop them before they could reach the newly set trap.

"Hail to the kingdoms!" Jansen said in greetings.

"Hail to thee!" a female voice said in response. Jansen was surprised, he had never thought he'd see it in his lifetime. The knight at the front was actually a War Bride, a female that had been tempered and tested for combat from the day they could walk, noble, pious, with unswerving loyalty. The other two were regular knight, her escorts perhaps?

"I am Jansen, knight of Jethoran, son of Talgard." Jansen approached them cautiously and held his hands out so they could see that he bared no weapons. The War Bride dismounted and lifted her visor. She was of a canine species, most likely a wolf of sorts, the other two lifted up their visors as well, the still mounted knight reviled to be a tiger, and the knight on foot a panther.

"I'm Keythia, War Bride of Viscon, daughter of Brunda." The female responded and gave a fist to chest salute to Jansen, her armored fist clanking to her breastplate. Jansen saluted back in kind.

"Jerol, knight of Xernia, son of Gaather." The tiger said also giving a salute. His mount giving a slight hiss from his weight shifting.

"Kopan, knight of Xernia, son of Jii." The panther said also following the actions of his companions.

"Now don't be alarmed my friends, but I think that we could use your help..." said Jansen signaled with a wave, to the surprise of the three armored warriors the half a dozen mink hunters cautiously came out of hiding.

Keythia, Jerol, and Kopan sat across from Jansen and Yuna. They were a bit uneasy but the villagers had at least brought them food and water.

"What news do you bring?" Jansen asked as he keened his sword with the whet stone.

"We were from separate detachments, Kligror's coalition broke though our ranks and since then we've been on the run, all of my sisters were killed or captured, and I had to deliver message of this defeat." Keythia sighed and sipped her water; Randal eagerly came by to fill her cup again. The wolfess patted the boy on the head and smiled and then waved dismissing him.

"He is about two days out and been pursuing us. We thought we could loose him in the valley." Kopan said looking over to Yuna with interest, the mink girl clung to Jansen as if he was life itself; nuzzling her cheek to the lion's arm.

"But instead we found you and now we might have a fighting chance." Jerol finished and sat back taking a bite of meat from his roasted lizard haunch. The tiger gave stretch and set the haunch down on the crude leaf plate. Jansen nodded with approval.

"The villagers are ready to fight we'll have a small group of twenty fighters and not only that they know this valley inside and out, the element of surprise will be ours." Jansen nuzzled back to Yuna who let out a contented sigh.

"Then we should all get some rest, I'm bushed from riding all day." Jerol finished his meal and then got his bedroll from his pack. "I take my leave..." and he walked out to sleep under the stars. In turn Keythia and Kopan got out their bedrolls, Keythia moving to a vacant corner of the cavern and Kopan to the other, leaving Jansen and Yuna to sleep in the sanctum.

Kopan was woken up by the sound of rustling over him; instinctively he groped for his sword and found the hilt, only to feel a soft hand placed upon his. He stayed still, was it an assassin come to kill him?

"Be calm, it's just me." Came Keythia's voice in the darkness, it was still night and yet they were unknowing of what the dawn would bring. Now Kopan found that wolfess over him looking down into his eyes. He let go of his grasp on his sword.

"Do you know our sisterhood's traditions Sir knight?" Keythia asked her face hovering very close to the panthers. Kopan shook his head.

"I know nothing about a War Bride other than tales of bravery and courage." Kopan had a feeling that she was about to lead him somewhere with this questioning. Keythia suddenly gave him a very soft kiss on the lips, Kopan did not respond only letting her do as she pleased, however from that kiss he was now fully erect.

"So you don't know about the ritualistic pre-battle mating that we have?" the she-wolf said after breaking the kiss and she rubbed her body to his. Kopan's tail swished with excitement and he shook his head.

"Well I'll let you in on that little secret of ours. Usually before any large battle the sisters will find a young, strong, health male. Sometimes it will be a monk temple keeper and each sister will take a turn in pleasure with him; sometimes till the poor male is at death's door. We feel that it could be our last battle and therefore we live for that night." Keythia now ran her hands up into Kopan's shirt rubbing his stout chest.

"Since there are no monks here, would you volunteer noble knight?" Keythia inquired and licked his nose lightly. Kopan gulped hard but nodded signaling that he would not mind the treatment. He wondered why not the other knight, but he was not about to ask not now at least.

"Now love me as if I were your mate..." Keythia kissed him deeply after voicing her needs and Kopan responded his hands moving up to fondle and caress her breasts. She might be a warrior but she was also a maiden as well. Her grey fur ruffled under his gentle touch as they began to disrobe.

Once they were fully naked they spared no time in waiting as they passionately kissed, Keythia straddling Kopan and grabbing his thick rod and rubbing the tips to her pussy lips with a soft smile of lust. Kopan cooed with the sensation and his hands rubbed over his hips.

With wonton lust Keythia slowly lowered herself down upon him, she moaned as she felt Kopan being sheathed by her slit and she flexed herself around him making his gasp out loudly. Kopan looked up at the wolfess and in response to his gaze she wiggled her hips around which only made Kopan gasp her harder not wanting her to stop.

Of course Keythia had no intention of stopping and she lifted up a bit before dropping back down upon him and rolling her hips. Kopan yelped lightly as he felt his cock head brush to her cervix and she moaned arching her back, her hips squirming again. Kopan thrusted up into her; his hips were colliding with hers as he strove to increase the sensation.

Keythia moaned over and over as she felt him ramming up into her and she rutted back her breasts bouncing as she rode upon her lover. Kopan knew he could not hold out much longer as he felt his release nearing, he had never been with a maiden before and now he was completely enthralled with this fellow warrior and beautiful wolfess.

Keythia kissed Kopan fiercely as they now both burned hotly, their bodies in the final stages of a massive dual impending climax. Kopan gave a muffle cry of pleasure as did Keythia as there was a mix of warm fluids within the she-wolf. Kopan clung to her panting softly as his fluids spilled into her hot womb; he looked into her eyes deeply his heart beating strongly in passion.

Keythia smiled and kissed Kopan gently. She knew that this was a one time thing with this male, but however it had been most enjoyable. She didn't know how he would completely feel about the situation though. She was truly sorry that she might have to break his heart

"I regret to tell you Sir knight that nothing can come of this union between us. War Brides do not take mates, and we are forbidden to bear offspring, unless we are unable to enter battle ever again." She smiled and kissed him again "however I won't forget your name Sir Kopan." She stroked his cheek tenderly and moved slowly dismounting from him.

Kopan looked highly disappointed but nodded knowing that she had her traditions and her ways. He sat up watching as she began to put her shirt back on and then he reached out and set a hand on her shoulder. Keythia paused and looked over her shoulder at him; she could see his eyes pleading to her.

"Can we at least be together the rest of the night m'lady?" he inquired with a eager look on his face. Keythia paused and thought it over for a moment, and taking pity upon the male she then took off shirt again and lay back down next to him wrapping her arms around him. Kopan pulled her close and nuzzled his nose to her snow white hair as they both fell into a deep and restful slumber.

The mink hunter perched upon his lookout in the tree, his senses keen and his eyes sharp, he was all too eager for the his time to end and for his replacement to come. However as the sun rose, in the distance there was a glint. With eyes straining he forced himself to look farther. The glint was accompanied by another and then another, and soon he could see a cloud of dust forming in the distance.

The hunter spared no time and blew the warning horn letting it echo in the valley and then the sound of another distant horn went off further in. The evil was approaching and they had to be prepared.

The call went up in the village as each able hunter grabbed a bow and spear. Jansen, Jerol, Kopan, and Keythia put their armor on and the villagers eagerly helped to camouflage them, placing mud and leaves on the armor to hide the glinting. Once they were ready they all took up positions for the battle about to begin.

The villagers split up into groups of five each assigned to one of their armored commanders. Jansen then drew a diagram in the dirt on what they would do. Their tactic was to scatter the enemy and engage them in traps and in individual combat. They would have little time to prepare for the onslaught that was to come. But they still had prepared well in advance.

Kligror watched the female scream and struggle as she fought against her bonds. The lapin girl cried tears streaming down her face as the Hyena brutally rammed into her, the ropes that tied her down cut cruelly into her wrists as she struggled and tried to prevent this atrocious act on her body without any success. The wound on her flank made it no easier for her to resist him and she had lost a lot of blood.

Now even though she was bandaged she had not the strength to resist the male viciously raping her. The Hyena sped up his thrusts signaling he was reaching his climax then with a grunted he drove into the rabbit deeply; his cock throbbing as his load spurted forth. The female screamed loudly feeling him flood her uterus and empty himself into her, she shuddered and then weeping the poor girl collapsed, fainting shortly thereafter.

"Another slut to add to my harem!" Kligror said pulling out and cackling as he watched his cum as it dripped from the abused female. Kligror motions and the guards who had been waiting untied the now unconscious girl and carried her to one of the holding wagons.

"My Lord!" Came a voice from outside the tent. Kligror grunted quickly pulling up his trousers walking outside annoyed that he was being interrupted, there was still at least two more injured and captured War Brides that he wanted to have his way with.

"This had better be good Captain..." The Hyena growled. The wolf soldier saluted and then stood at attention to give his report.

"My Lord, we have stopped outside this small valley were we are sure that the surviving enemy forces went, we found tracks but the jungle is thick and we have no way of navigating our forces through except on foot." The Captain watched the Hyena close his eyes cunningly in thought and then Kligror looked up to him.

"Prepare the main force to stay outside the jungle, thirty men strong. Send in a platoon of scouts in and we'll establish this as base camp. When the scouts find them, kill the knights, bring the War Bride to me alive, she will make a fine addition to her fellow sisters." Kligror grinned and then cackled madly as the wolf backed up to prepare for their assault.

Jansen watched from his hiding spot as they prepared for an assault. The traps were set and hopefully they would be effective enough to stop lightly armored infantry. There was sound of a gliding lizard cooing three times and Jansen knew that was the signal to get ready. Sure enough in a sort while Kligror's men started to appear walking through the jungle. There were only wearing studded lizard hide, but they still had swords and short bows.

Jansen signaled the three hunters in the trees with a wave of his hand, and they silently nocked arrows and drew bow strings. Jansen waited and then signaled with a single raised index finger and they fired, quickly scampering away to new hiding spots while the arrows were in mid-flight. The soldier at the lead of the platoon was struck by two arrows in the chest and the third arrow sailed past his falling body and struck the man behind him in the neck.

Jansen then gave another signal with index and middle finger the other two hunters that were in the trees at the left of the platoon fired. One solider was struck in the leg and another got caught in the arm. Orders were barked from the platoon as they drew arrows firing in random directions of where the attacks were coming from.

Jansen counted them, now there was only fifteen to deal with; the mink hunters were already relocated and getting ready for another assault. Jansen moved from his hiding spot and signaled again and five more arrows flew this time with less accuracy, but it wasn't an attempt to kill the enemy just yet. The platoon of men began to scatter out a bit and Jansen had a fine opportunity as a soldier wandered close to his hiding place.

With a mighty roar Jansen leapt from his hiding spot while drawing his sword and, with one fell swoop, cleaved the wolf enemy soldier in twain. The other soldiers shouted as Jansen then withdrew back into the wood and hopped over a specific log missing the trip-line just on the other side of it by inches.

Three soldiers of the feline persuasion foolishly ran after him drawing swords and when the lead soldier leapt over the log he stepped right on the rope. Instantly a log with sharpened stakes driven through it swung down and impaled all three of them killing them instantly.

Jansen whistled loudly letting the mink hunters to retreat and they withdrew from the now shaken and scattered platoon that now numbered less than a dozen. Now the soldiers were cautious as they treaded through the jungle on the look out for traps, nervous that there was death around every tree.

As they made their way through the jungle though the mink hunters slowly began to pick them off one by one. A handful of the soldier fell to traps, the punji pit trap, and one even got buried under the rockslide trap. Finally three very scared wolf soldiers were all that was left of the platoon.

They formed a circle with back to each other but they gave up when from the jungle emerged Jansen, Keythia, Kopan, and Jerol and about a dozen or so hunters with bows drawn. They threw down their weapons and surrendered to the natives and the knights.

The villagers fawned over the swords that they had captured. Some of the hunters experimentally swung the blades into a hollowed log to test them. They had seen the way Jansen and the other knights used these weapons and they now had the means to engage the enemy face to face if needed.

Jansen glared into the eyes of the wolf soldier tied to the post in front of him. He detested torture, but the villagers were more than happy to do that for him. The lead hunter that Jansen had met the first day dug his stone knife into the shoulder of the soldier who screamed in pain.

"Tell us! How many are out there?!" Jansen said with grim determination.

"Go fuck yourself!" the wolf responded to which Jansen nodded to the mink again who twisted the knife cruelly into the wolf's arm. The wolf screamed again and Jansen held up his hand and the lead hunter stopped.

"Look the natives here have no trouble punishing outsiders, believe me... so you're going to tell me everything or I can just let them tear you apart." Jansen said locking his steely gaze to the defiant soldier's eyes. The soldier didn't say a word but instead spat at Jansen in contempt.

"Fine... I'll have the hunters scout for me, and we'll figure this out on our own. If you won't tell us I guess the villagers can have their way with you... enjoy being a sacrifice." Jansen got up and turned to leave as the wolf let out another scream the lead hunter raked the dull stone dagger down his arm.

"Wait! wait! I'll talk! I'll talk!" The wolf yelled, as he felt the knife tip digging towards the bone. Jansen spared no time in gathering all information from him. Even though he was truthful with each question the lead hunter would dig his knife into the wolf's arm to make sure that there was no deception. From what the soldier said there were thirty men including lord Kligror, five captured and injured War Bride, and ten lizard mounted soldiers.

There was no doubt that it was a formidable force but then again they had the element of surprise. They had until sunrise to plan, for that is when the platoon was expected back at the base camp. However at sunrise there would be something other than the platoon that would arrive at Kligror's base camp.
