I opened my eyes and looked around from where i was laying,

i rubbed my eyes and sat up looking around the den, Mason wasn't here.

I got up and scretched, 'Must have shifted back in my sleep' I thought to

myself, i dusted off my clothes and crawled from the den, once outside i looked

around."Morning, sleep well?" Mason was siting on a log back to me looking down

at the pack. "Morning, and yes i did thank you"

I said walking up to him and sat down beside him, "We are having a pack

gathering tonight." He said looking at me. "Cool" I said brushing the hair from

my face. "Would you like to attend?" He asked lifting an eyebrow. "Sure" I said

crossing my legs. "Ok i will tell the others, want to come?" He asked and i

nodded.

We both got up and i shifted and we ran down into the vally and went up to

the largest den witch was for the Alphas. "Hello darling" Margret greeted.

"Hello Margret" I said politely. "Morning Mason" She said and kissed him on the

cheek witch he pulled away from and she rolled her eyes.

I giggled at that and ruffled the fur on his head and he growled at me.

"Anyway, Scarlet will me joining us at the gathering" He said eyeing me. "Ok

darling see you both there." She said and Mason dismissed himself.

I went into the woods and went to an open space, i lit fire to a stick and

stuck it in the ground, i waved my hands and made the fire go up into the air i

moved it along a pond and weved it through trees, i did that a few times before

puting it out.

I went along a path and into the vally where all wolves were, one guy

whistled at me in witch he receved a scowl from me, i walked through the vally

looking at all the wolves, one girl had blonde hair with full red lips and a

black skanky dress.

Another had a blue dress on in witch i would call rags since it barely

covered any skin, 'Gross' i thought to myself, most likely alot of the females

here were sluts/skanks who wore most likely nothing.

I went over and sat on a log and herd some wrestling, i got up and walked

over leaning on a tree near an open space where two females were fighting. one

was grey with black and white markings the other plain brown with a black

leg.

I watched as they bit and clawed at eachother it was training but it looked

more like killing, i then left and made my way up the hill and back to Masons

den, i sat on the log he was siting on earlier, i sighed 'Theres nothing to do

when Masons not here' i thought even if i met him yesterday i felt as though we

have known eachother for years, i looked around and no sight seemed

interesting.

Nothing to do no where to go, nothing to see, i got up and walked through the

forest this timeand saw nothing to my interest but the sounds and sights of the

forest, birds chirping and flying, in the trees, bees on the flowers.

Someone came up behind me and then a rose was infront of my face. "A

beautiful Rose for a beautiful lady." I took the rose and turnt to face Mason.

"Thanks it's lovely" I said and smiled, he smiled back. "Thought i might give

you that before i have to go on more patrols" He said and bowed like a gentlemen

before shifting and running off.

I looked at the rose, it had soft peddles it was blood red and beautiful not

a fault on it, the peddles and stem were perfect, i put it just above my ear and

moved my hair aside, then once that was done i walked again and looked around,

finding a nice log i sat down.

The forest was beautiful it was around 2 pm so around 10 pm would be the

gathering, 8 hours 480 minutes 28800 seconds and counting...

I sighed and all those hours minutes and seconds is how long it is until i

see Mason. Hmmm... i lived this long without him i can live a few hours.

I got up and ran shifting into my wolf form, the rose still in place, i ran

through the forest enjoying the wind in my face and through my fur, i jumped

over a log and ran down a hill into an open vally atleast a mile long, i ran

through there jumping through the tall grass and over the bushes.

I ran through it till i ended up in the middle i slowed to a stop, i sat down

and looked around, The vally was long and wide it had beautiful grass and short

full bushes the sky was blue with only a few clouds.

I yawned and layed down resting my head upon my paws and sighed, i drifted

off into a restful sleep...

I opened my eyes to the vally in dusk, yawning and siting up i saw the sky

has darkened to a light grey on one side the other was orange and pink with the

sunset.

I got up scretched and ran, i ran till i was out of the vally and into the

rocky forest, the pine needles and leaves crunching under my paws as i ran, i

made it to Masons den and looked around, once i was sure no one was there i sat

and sighed.

"Hey Gabriella" I turnt my head and smiled when i saw Mason, i fought the

urge to run over and hug him. "Hey, Gathering starting?" I asked my voice clam

but inside i was about to start jumping up and down. "Yes it is, care if i

escort you to the Gathering?" He asked with a grin.

"Not at all sir" I said and smiled geting up and troting over to him, he

bowed his head and turnt walking down the hill, i followed at his side. "I like

the setting of the Rose i gave you" He said eyeing my ear. "Yes and What a

lovely Rose it is" I said.

We made are way through the packs vally and up a rocky hill in the bottom

were tons and tons of wolves everywhere, Margret and the other Alpha were siting

on some rocks in the center of the place.

We walked up to them and both bowed are heads respectfully. "Ahh Mason so

glad of you and Scarlet to join us" the other Alpha said (Masons father) "What a

beautiful rose Scarlet" Margret said knowingly like. I blushed im glad for the

fur or you would have seen it. "Thank you" i said kindly.

Mason then led me around showing me the gathering place and what everything

means/stands for, the Alphas howled and we all found a place to sit i sat beside

Mason. "Welcome members of FlamePack".

Said the Alpha-M, i listened as he said greetings for all wolves there, "It is a pleasure having you all and are new member to the pack Scarlet" Margret said looking at me and all wolves howled and yiped in welcome.

I bowed my head once and smiled, they all talked about the pack and its history along with pack patrols and members and all, though i wasnt listening, i was enjoying the view, the moon was high and bright while all stars were shimmering and glowing, a plane flying by.

There was a bird in the near by tree chirping a rabbit under a bush eating, there was alot of wildlife at night it seemed like, and the best view was Mason siting beside me listening to the gathering.

He sat strate and tall his chest puffed out naturaly, his ears pointed forward sometimes back, his brow furrowing ever so slightly as he talked. 'Funny all the small things you notice on someone' i thought to myself.

I listened in on a converstation some girls were having across from us. "Mason is so hot" the white and grey one said. "I know right, to bad hes with that whore right now" The black one said, i growled. "Yea she most likely has flees" They both laughed.

I got up and walked over to them and sat down right infront of them. "What do you want" the white/grey one said. "Nothing just came to say hello" Yes i realy wanted to say 'hello' very 'nicely'. "Well sho im talking" The black one said. "Oh i cant join in?"

I asked inoccently tilting my head. "No! now leave!" I folded my ears back acting as if they hurt my feelings. 'Plan A is in action' i thought, i got up and troted back to Masons side tail down and ears drooped. "Something wrong?" He asked me. "There being mean to me" i said pointing to the two wolves.

He sighed and walked over to them. "My friend over there said that you two ladys were being rude to her?" He asked looking over at me. "We were not she came over and called us whores" The black one said. "Yea" the other said.

Mason looked over at innocent little me. "Is this ture?" he asked. "There lieing i said no such thing" I said with puppy dog eyes. He looked to them just in time to see the smug looks on there faces. "Netheir of you sould be rude to Scarlet since she is new to the pack understood?" He said sternly. "Yes sir" they both said and stalked away.

Mason walked back over to me. "Damn i wish those girls would leave me alone already." He huffed. "Aww im sorry, but dont worry i can make them leave you alone" I said and smiled.

"Oh yeah what do you have in mind?" He asked eyebrows raised. "I can burn them" I said with a smug smile. "Burn them?" He asked "Yes burn them" I repeated. "Okay just dont make a scene" 'He realy said that! woo! i get to burn some whores!! watch your tails ladys cause here comes the knife!' I thought and walked over staying unseen, i set a stick on fire behind each of them and bolted back to Masons side.

They sniffed then turnt both of them screaming and running falling over themselves i laughed that was funny!, other wolves came and put out the flame 'The girls will have some butt burns in the morning!' i thought.

Mason chuckled beside me. "Nice job" he said i nodded, the gathering thined out till it was just me Mason and some others. "Shall we go?" He asked. "Sure", we both left going up the hillside and through the vally to 'our' den.

"Nice night if i do say so myself" The full moon was still in full glow. "Yeah" i said and shifted siting down on 'our' log while he sat beside me. "Any plans for tomorrow?" He asked. "Nope why?" i asked looking at him.

"Would you like to come with me somewhere?" He asked looking at me. "Sure" I said eyeing him. "Want to go for a midnight run before its to late" I asked. "Sure why not" We both got up and ran heading for the forest, we made it and ran through the trees weveing through them and jumping over rocks and logs. "Race you to the mountain!" He said and ran faster.

I caught up fast and we made it to the moutain, we both laughed, he jumped and tackled me, i screamed playfully, swating at him, i got up and ran yelling "Catch me if you can!" he raced after me and i made it back but right before i made it to the den i was knocked down. "Caught ya"

He said smugly. "Darn" We laughed and he jumped off crawling in the den with me on his tail, he jumped over to his bed and layed down. "Night Gabriella" He said curling up. "Night Mason" i said back yawning, crawling into my bed i layed down and yawned my eyelids droping and i drifted off to sleep...
